Regarding UI alignment

Hi All,
this is my first message in this Forum..
In my project I created a UI with 10 Jtextfields two Tabs in JtabbedPane and a Jtable. Now my PL suddenly gave me a additional task to include 5 more Jtextfiled and another Tab.
1. I have to modify the existiong view with rectangle postions.
2. Simulataneously all other components has to be rearranged.
3. Is there any easy method to do this instead of adjusting each time compiling and running. I am using JDeveloper but we are using our own Layout manager so i cant adjust with any IDE.
So i need any simple solution for it

It is really not complicated to add a Tab with textfields:
        JPanel jPanel3 = new JPanel();
        JTextField jTextField1 = new JTextField();
        jPanel3.add(jTextField1);
        jTabbedPane1.addTab("tab3", jPanel3);

Regarding footer alignment

changes are made to existing layout. address in the footer is not showing
to left in new layout .it is aligned to centre as it is showing to left in old layout.in paragraph text is aligned to left only.

Regarding the Alignment of text in top-of-page using oops

I am displaying the texts on the top-of-page in two columns, i am facing a problem while displaying the text on the right-side as it is not displaying the text in the proper alignment.
I am using the method : add_gap for the gap between the
left- side text and the right-side text .
how can i overcome this.

it is a trail and Error method , using the add_gap method you have to adjust the texts. otherwise you have to use the method add_table. see the usage of the method in the program DD_STYLE_TABLE

Symbol isolation mode, the pixel grid is not aligned to the ruler.

If you create a symbol that is pixel perfect, exit out of the symbol and go back in, the pixels bleed into each other because the pixel grid is not aligned correctly. Instead it is aligned to the global document grid which the symbol content is not placed in. It makes no sense to align the pixel grid to the global coordinates when the content by definition is not present in it.
This makes it impossible to use symbols to edit pixel perfect objects because any editing other than the original creation does not display pixels but pixel bleeds.
This is a valid bug in Illustrator CS6. Please specify:
1. Do you understand what I am specifying? If you do not I will provide images as I wish to resolve this functionality.
2. Please specify if it has been fixed in Illustrator CC. I do not have an available Win7 installation to test CC but if it is I will acquire one.

As Adobe's products are now on a subscription one would hope it's product roadmap would accelerate with regards to Illustrator considering the necessity of Vector graphics in a market with multiple largely varying resolutions.
If you create a symbol that is pixel perfect, exit out of the symbol and go into Symbol edit mode (from the Symbol Panel or when a symbol's dimensions have been modified) the Pixel Preview grid is not aligned correctly. The Pixel Preview grid is nonsensically aligned to the document's coordinates. It makes no sense to align the Pixel Preview grid to the document's coordinates in symbol edit mode as it causes an inability to see the Pixel Preview without bleeding.
This makes it impossible to use symbols to edit pixel perfect objects because any editing other than the original creation does not display pixels but pixel bleeds.
Again the fundamental issue is that: There is no reason to align the Symbol Edit mode to the global Pixel Preview grid. The Pixel Preview grid should align to the Symbol coordinates.

The screenshot is in Pixel Preview. Moving the contents of the Symbol in Edit mode from it's correct position to temporarily align to the Preview Pixel grid is incorrect:
1. Because you just moved the correctly placed contents. The Symbol placed in it's parent to prevent pixel bleeding is now incorrect.
2. On a subsequent edit it would be misaligned because as specified, Illustrator aligns the contents of Symbol editing mode nonsensically to the global Pixel Preview grid.
With regards to Align to Pixel grid
1. This is a bug regardless of improvements to Align to Pixel to facilitate an acceptable workflow.
2. Align to pixel grid is not an acceptable workflow:
a. Not possible to place path vertices in the middle of a pixel to facilitate pixel strokes.
b. Mangles rounded corners.
d. It is not prudent to rely on an arbitrary algorithm with regards to forward or backward compatability in creating anything, considering the possibility of mangling and/or changed behavior as specified above.
The workflow to create pixel perfect UI elements is to position vertices absolutetly.

Page alignment changes

Hello,
I'm building my first website with Muse and things are going well but an issue arose regarding the alignment of pages.
I have a master page ("Main", with no master) with a menu widget placed horizontally that is linked to four parent pages, and a second master page ("Main - About Us", with "Main" as its master). Of the four parent pages, one of them ("About Us") has two child pages (the other three have no child pages).
The "About Us" parent page is based on the "Main - About Us" master page.
Out of the six pages, the "About Us" page is aligned differently than the rest when viewed in preview mode, or when viewed in a browser, or when viewed as published. In other words, when I click on the menu item to take me to the "About Us" page, the page appears but everything is aligned at a different position than when viewing all other pages, including the "About Us" child pages.
Any suggestions on how to fix this issue will be appreciated!

The alignment looks like it has shifted to the right by a little bit; there is no vertical issues. To try and show you, I took a screen shot of the "Services" page with a notepad window positioned as a guide set at the edge of "About Us".
The third screen shot is when I've clicked on the "About Us" page. And because I havent moved the notepad window, you might be able to see that now there is a space between the guide and the edge of "About Us".

Printhead alignment

Model #J611gProduct #CR233AFirmware Version: SMP1FN1115AR I recently ran out of tri-color ink. When I ran the printhead alignment after replacing the cartridge, I received a "Alignment Failure" message. I replaced the black cartridge after realizing it was also low and the alignment page didn't print properly. The alignment was then deemed successful by the printer, however, the vertical alignment is off by about 1/16" causing lettering and photos to be printed with a shadow to the left of each one. I have run all the diagnostic tests (printhead cleaning, alignment, cartridge replacements) suggested at support.hp.com numerous times with negative results. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I can see by your post that your Officejet 8500 wireless printer is showing "Alignment failed. Refer to device documentation for details." error. I should be able to provide some help!
The Officejet 8500 has cartridges but also has printheads. The ink from the cartridge is fed through tubes into the printhead and the printhead ejects that ink onto the page. Printheads are what put the ink on the page and also need to be replaced once and a wile. Having said that I would suggest following this document regarding An 'Alignment failed' Error Message Displays on the Printer Control Panel located on the Officejet 8500 support page.

Position Of Buttons @Pop-up

I have an pop-up . And i use it in 2-3 views. I want to change the positions of yes/no/cancel buttons. Is it possibe ?

Hi,
Alignment of buttons cannot be done in the pop up. But you can create a view with the alignment that you require and call that for the pop up.
1) Create a View.
2) Map it to a Window.
3) Use that Window as a pop up.

Dear Abhay,
     I guess this alignment issue is due to the Text object.
     Text object works good for static text but for dynamic text Text field object is better one.
     Use Text field object to display the dynamic text instead of Text object.

Solution for Unicode error MESSAGEG:Z

Hi all ,
I have a code
PERFORM write_report TABLES i_guideline
                            using 'Merit'
                                  'Guideline Amount' .
FORM write_report TABLES   p_i_mrth STRUCTURE i_mrth
                  using    p_title
                           p_title2.
After its unicode error check it is showing .
Error Code : *MESSAGEG:Z*
Error Msg : I_GUIDELINE" and the line type of "P_I_MRTH" are incompatible. With regard to alignment gaps, the line type of "P_I_MRTH" is not a real initial part of "I_GUIDELINE". .
Can anyone please give me any solution .

Hi,
In Unicode system type Incompatible error will appear when transferring the data from one structure to another strucrture which is not same alinged.
Might Be your one of the structure where filed's of i_guideline are like
a(4) type C ,
b(2) type C,
c     type I,
d     type N.
but another structure are I_MRTH
a (4) type c,
b Type I,
c Type C,
d type N.

Cannot print wirelessly

I am unable to print from my ipad or iphone. Printer says it's connected to wireless router and phone can see the printer as usual but when I select print nothing happens. It has worked in the past but it seems to disconnect if I haven't printed for a while. The other problem I have is that 90% of prints are not aligned and miss sections off.

I see that you are having some issues with the Photosmart 5520 printing from an iPad and iPhone. I would like to see if we can figure out the connection issues before we move to any possible alignment issues.
Within this guide: Apple Mobile Devices (AirPrint): Document Does Not Print or is Stuck in Print Queue, you will be given steps to reset the devices, clear the queues, etc.
Let me know how it go and we can go from there, if needed. Regarding the alignment, would it be possible to upload an image of that printing issue?

Door on Super Drive is stuck

Hi everyone,
I'm growing increasingly frustrated because I am unable to eject a disk from my super drive on my Powermac G5. The problem isn't that I don't know the key combinations or the assigned buttons for ejecting a disk. The drive simply will not eject the disk when the correct buttons are pushed. I can hear the drive "wanting" to eject it but it won't. The door seems to be stuck. Is there a fix to this problem (such as an adjustment that I can make regarding the alignment of the drive within the bay) or something like that?
Or do I need to go out and purchase a new drive from Apple or somewhere else? Please advise!

The Power Mac G5 manual has the following
*You are unable to eject a disc.*
A file on the disc may be in use. Quit applications that are open, then try again.
If that doesn’t work, choose Apple () > Restart and hold down either the mouse
button or the Media Eject key on your Apple Keyboard.
If that doesn’t work:
1 Shut down the computer.
2 Carefully press down the front panel covering the front of the drive tray and locate the
small hole below the drive tray.
3 Carefully insert the end of a large straightened paper clip into the hole.
4 Push firmly until the tray opens.
5 Pull out the tray, remove the disc, and push the tray to close it.

UMI-7764 with Simudrive 611 Universal

we`re currently trying to connect a NI UMI-7764 to a 1-axis motion system controlled by a Siemens Simudrive 611 controller.
We would be glad to find anybody providing information on how to connect both these interfaces, regarding pin alignment and/or available options.

Wow, that's a manual! Almost 1000 pages...
I hope you understand, that I can't work through this huge manual, so I'll give you some general hints:
Don't forget to connect an externl +5 V power supply to the UMI-7764.
Connect the AOUTx to the +/- 10 V input of the drive
Connect the encoder signals (ENCAx, ENCBx,...) to the appropriate outputs of the drive. Please note, that the phase relation of Phase A and B are not standardized, so you may need to change the polarity of the phases in NI-MAX.
Connect the INHOUTx to an ENABLE input of the drive. This allows the NI motion controller to turn off the power of an axis completely if necessary.
Connect the limit switch inputs (FWDLIMx, HOMEx, REVLIMx) to mechanical limit switches if applicable.
These are the most important connections. Please refer to the manuals of the drive and the motion controller to find out, if the voltage levels are compatible.
Here are some more general pieces of advise:
Use the drive in torque mode. This makes tuning easier.

Query regarding alignment of data in Application server

My requirement is to download data to the application server. To get an aligned output, i need to give offset position manually for each input.
For example :
      lw_outtab+0(15) = in_itab-matnr.
      lw_outtab+25(10) = in_itab-vkorg.
          append lw_outtab to i_outtab.
        Instead of manualy giving the offset position
Is there is any function module to get an aligned output in the Application server directly.
And also i would like to know if color formating is possible for the downloaded data.

In order to get alligned data in an outputfile to application server you could do something like this:
Define your own types (of course you can add as much fields you need)
TYPES: BEGIN OF ty_in_itab,
         matnr(15) TYPE c,
         buf01(10) TYPE c,
         vkorg(10) TYPE c,
         buf01(10) TYPE c,
       END   OF ty_in_itab,
Make sure that the length here is equal to length of ty_in_itab
       ty_outtab(100) TYPE c.
Define your own tables/workarea's
DATA: in_itab   TYPE ty_in_itab OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE,
       in_outtab TYPE ty_outtab OCCURS,
       lw_outtab TYPE ty_outtab.
Logic to fill in_itab.
    MOVE CORRESPONDING VBAK TO in_itab.
    APPEND in_itab.
After this filling logic do your trick
LOOP AT in_itab.
    lw_outtab = in_itab.
    APPEND lw_outtab TO in_outtab.
ENDLOOP.
And afterwards download it

JEditorPane has no regard for the img align tag!?

I want text to flow around an image in my java app, but the img align attribute is ignored. I can align the image using <div> or <span> but the text doesn't flow around it.
Is there any way to do this?

If you mean HTMLEditorKit the align isn't supported.
I have implemented something like but I have no right to share it and the kit extension integrated in app s the code can't be used as is. I had to extract/change plenty of code of original HTMLEditorKit to add support of text flow around images and tables.

Regarding string operations and value alignment below heading

Hi all,
I have a requirement of sending the data in the form of table in mail thought me program.
Am sending the mail content form int table.
The issue is the table getting displayed like this(I used internal table of strings for this)-
Name            |          Old value               |       New value                              -->Heading string
Description     |          Material for production of tractors | Material for tractors -->value string1
weight               |       123   | 124                                                                   -->value string2
Value 124 should have been well below New value.
In short am not able to arrange the values (Because of variable length of values)well below table field so that i can distinguish various values in same row.Please guide me for this issue .
