Regd Footer in Webui
Dear all,
I am using SAP Integrated ITS 640 patch level 18 . I want to know whether we can change the footer display in webgui . In SAP GUI for window we can change the footer in such a way to display the transaction / program / system / client etc . Can we change it in webgui also. i am not able to see the arrow mark in webgui to change the footer display.

samapthThis is a really hard post to read. See if you can take a bit of time to reword it, but one thing I do understand is that you are getting this error:
page header plus page footer too large for the page.
Typically, you can trust that if the error is thrown, it is true. E.g.; this is not one of those errors that says one thing, and means another. I suspect that you have some field(s) in the header(s) that grow, depending on the data. If there is too much data or the data is too long ( a text for example), the error will be thrown. To resolve this, see if placing the field(s) into a group footer / header will help.

How to Set Precision of Column Footer Total for Table Bean?
I am doing an OAF extension, and I have a table for which I need to increase the precision of the column values from 2 decimal places to 5. I did this successfully in the view object for the row values, but the table footer totals still have 2 decimal places. I can't seem to find anyway to set this. Anyone know how to do this?

You can format the content of the totalRow item programmatically. However, setting a formatting option such as CURRENCY_CODE, on an individual web bean's text attribute, under the total column, does not format the total row's values. Instead, to format the total row's value, use the setAttributeValue(AttributeKey key, Object value) method of oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.beans.table.OAColumnBean in your controller, as shown in the following example:

In Excel, I can easily insert the filename as a footer. It's part of the pull-down menu for footer/header. Can I do this in Numbers?

For this feature you must go backwards in time to Version 2 of Numbers. In Version 2, you would set the text insertion cursor in the Header or Footer field and then from the Menu line: Insert > Filename. Then double-click the filename token that you inserted and choose the options for displaying the full path and for displaying the extension.

In Pages 09 I could add a filename to the footer. If I saved a document with a new filename, this would then be automatically updated in the footer in the new document. I cannot find out how to update the Filename in pages 5, other than doing it manually.
Is this yet another example of the new iWork being dumbed down? Also missing is the ability to use keyboard shortcuts for formatting, and a lot of the Inspector features.
Do I have to go back to Pages 09 for all the missing features?Feature removed in Pages 5.
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Trash/archive Pages 5 after Exporting any Pages 5 docs to Pages '09 files.
Then rate/review Pages 5 in the App Store.

Resetting Header and Footer in RTF templates
Hi,
I developed an RTF template (template 1). This template contains start:body and end body for printing the header and footer in all pages. After printing this template then i have to call another template(template 2) from this. I called the template (template 2) using call statement. But the probelm is that the header and footer of template1 is printed in the output of template2 .
I dont want to print this header and footer for template 2. Can anyone please suggest me in doing this. I placed start:body and end body in the second template with the assumption that 1st template's header and footer will be overwritten. But if i preview then am getting the error

Do you have two templates (template1 & template2) that you want to display in the same document where the pages for template1 has one set of header and footers; and template2 has another set of header and footer?
If that is the case you can simply create a new section in your rtf template so you have section1 and section2.
In the body of section1 you call template1 and template2 in the body of section2.
You can then have different header and footers for the two templates in the same document.

Dynamic mandatory field error message is not getting displayed in webui
Hi,
In Appointment if the importance is HIGH i made Location as mandatory.For this i enhanced BT126H_APPT/ApptDetails. In the get_p_location() method of BTACTIVITYYH i have written the code.
Now the problem is Error message for this dynamic mandatory field is not getting displayed in webui.
I debugged in DO_FINISH_INPUT error message is getting generated but it is not getting displayed in ui.
Can anybody tell where the problem is?

How ever quick solution for your problem would be just keep your validation in 'DO_VALIDATE_INPUT' method of the view controller.
Means even if the User clicks on SAVE , Since it fails here , it would not allow you to go further.

Why is my Page Footer not displaying correctly??
I am trying to customize a quote report in Tigerpaw and I am having an issue with the page footer. My report is structured as follows:
Cover Page
Product List
Grand Total
Simple right? So the page footer has the page numbers, printed date, etc and I want it to print onto every page. That is working fine on every page except for the cover page which happens to be the Report Header. There is a blank white space where the page footer is supposed to be but nothing is displaying there page footer has gray background). What gives? Am I trying to do something I cannot do?

If you right-click in the Page Footer margin and go to Section Expert, are there any conditional formatting formulas set? Any options that have been changed from the default?
If you right-click one of the fields in the Page Footer and go to Format. In the Common tab, does the Suppress option have a formula?
The Page Footer should be seen from the Cover Page unless it's been told to suppress somewhere.

1)Sort all the claims based on ITC Vendor ID.
2)Grouped all the submitted claims against each ITC Vendor ID from the search result
3)Change the status of the selected submitted claims to Approved.
4)Displays information messages as mentioned whenever a claim is approved, the same message will be captured in the job log.
‘Claims <ClaimID 1>,…<ClaimID N> now approved for ITC Vendor ID’.
5)Sending Email to each IRC.
6)Capture all the approved claims in the below format (Format Attached "Screen Shot Attachment")
7)Store the file in the Application Server AL11 in .csv format

I print my calendar at the baginning of each month to post on the frig. Occasionally I reprint it partway through the month if enough has changed. I wish I could print a footer with the date printed, so I can easily tell which is the latest version. Any ideas, other than handwriting it on each page?

Objective: Creation of a Marketing Profile Set based on the standard CRM_MKTTG_BP_BIRTHDATE Infoset thru the WebUI Segment Builder.
Problems: Standard CRM_MKTTG_BP_BIRTHDATE Infoset DOES NEVER RETURN ANY RESULTS on the segmentation builder of the WebUI client (no matter the filter you specify).
Other cases: However if we create a new Data source with data "Extraction from Query" (transaction RS02) based on this standard CRM_MKTTG_BP_BIRTHDATE Infoset and we test the functionality using transaction RSA3, IT DOES RETURN RESULTS (using the same filters as in the segmentation builder)! Of course the segmentation builder works with other attribute lists.
NEW: IF WE DON’T ESPECIFY ANY SEGMENTATION BASE IN THE PROFILE GROUP, IT DOES RETURN RESULTS!!! (GO TO THE END OF THE DOCUMENT FOR DETAILS)

Review Standard Infoset CRM_MKTTG_BP_BIRTHDATE (Transaction SQ02).Review Data Reading Program code: do we have to change the standard code? We have only remove the "BREAK-POINT" statement.
Creation of a Data source based on the standard CRM_MKTTG_BP_BIRTHDATE Infoset (Transaction CRMD_MKTDS).
Creation of an Attribute List based on that standard Data source and selection the Birth date as a filter in the Attribute list (Transaction CRMD_MKTDS).
On the segment builder of the WebUI set any filter (Example: “TODAY”).

Count target group. Here I would like to stand out that once you click on the “Count” option, immediately it shows 0 results. In other words, it doesn’t process any information. With other attribute lists it takes some time to process, no matter the filter or the attribute list you use. However if we create a new Data source with data "Extraction from Query" (transaction RS02) based on this standard CRM_MKTTG_BP_BIRTHDATE Infoset and we test the functionality using transaction RSA3, IT DOES RETURN RESULTS (with “today” filter and other)! So it seems that the problem has to do with the segment builder, not the Infoset.
Result: it never return any results no matter the filter you specify.

I've been using Pages for a long time now to create invoices for my customers. Paying information and tax number have been in a table in the document's footer. Something has terribly changed in Pages 5 - this information is no longer visible - my customers don't have this important (and partly mandatory) informations on their invoices I wrote the last couple of days!
