Relative reference in condition of SUMIF

I need to SUM all the weekly totals. Each row has a date. In a hidden table, I calculate the WEEKNUM of the entry. Using SUMIF, I can add everything up. However, it appears I have to hard code the condition. For example:
=SUMIF(Table 5 :: A2:A37,"=30",Table 5 :: B2:B37)
Is there some way I can avoid "=30" and use some kind of reference?
A2:A37 is each entry's week number, B2:B37 is each entry's totals
dt

If the weeks are sequential, you can use ROW() plus an integer (ROW()+28 for instance if the formula was in row 2) to reference the week. You will also want to make the range absolute so instead of A2:A37 it would be A$2:A$37 or $A$2:$A$37 or you may be able to use a more simple A in place of the range which will reference the entire column. Same with the reference to B2:B37.
You would end up with
=SUMIF(Table 5 :: A, ROW()+28, Table 5 :: B)
then fill down to the rows below, no changes required.

    I share maintenance responsibilities for a site with someone else.  We both have Dreamweaver CS4.  She uses Win 7 and I'm on XP.  We had been getting warning messages about Flash objects (swf) possibly not working, so she deleted and reinserted some of the swf files.  Now the swf files do not work when the pages are loaded from my computer, even though they work OK when I load the pages from the site.  I tracked the problem to the relative reference for the swf files.  When she re-inserted the Flash files, Dreamweaver created:
    <param name="movie" value="/images/MyBanner.swf">
    However, when I reinsert the swf files, Dreamweaver creates:

    I can change the references in the pages she created from '/' to '../' and the swf files work fine when loaded from my computer.  I have tested this in IE 8.0.6 and Firefox 3.6.2.

  • Reference Price Conditions

    I want to reference a condition type Z001 from application area F against a pricing condition ZF00 in my sales order (application area V). I have maintained condition records against condition Z001 only. During Sales Order processing the system advises that no condition record can be found for ZF00, even though it also advises me not to create conditon records in transaction VK11 due to the reference.
    Is there an extra step missing? Do I need to point my ZF00 condition type to the access sequence from application area F? Is this possible?

    You can maintain Price conditions to vendor in MEKE transaction code.
    One you are in MEKE transaction - sytem will ask you purchase org and vendor name and after entering detail press execute button. Place your curser on vendor name and select create icon. it will direct to new fast entry screen to define the scales for price condition.
    The above will only work when you have already configure Schema Calculation. I mean following steps are required to calculate Schema.
    1.     Define calculation schema
    2.     Define schema group (Vendor Shema Group + Puchase Organization Schema Group)
    3.     Assign Vendor Schema Group to Vendor
    4.     Assign Purchase Organization Schema Group to Purchase Organization
    5.     Define Schema Determination.
    Hope it will help.

  • Relative References in formulas Hyp Fin Reporting

    How do I create a relative row reference with hfr functions, specifically text functions.  I know "cur" or "current" will give you the relative reference of the current row or column but am trying to figure out how to reference a row above.  Can I use "Cur -1" or something similar?
    I am going line-by-line using text functions at the moment:
    Text Row Header
    <<MemberDescription(Current, 1, "Entity")>>
    <<MemberDescription(Current, 2, "Entity")>>
    <<MemberDescription(Current, 3, "Entity")>>
    <<MemberDescription(Current, 4, "Entity")>>
    etc...
    Many thanks in advance

    you can use IsMissing function to achieve the same. Just have a try, hopefully this should work.

  • Cell contents in the condition of SUMIFS

    the function SUMIFS(sum-values, test-values, condition, test-values..., condition...) i am not able to use cell contents for the "condition" (=C2) because it says syntax error.
    anyone can help on this?
    best regards, Paulo

    A condition that includes a cell reference would be like this:
    "operator"&C2 where you replace the word operator (keeping the quotes) with a less than, greater than or equals symbol or any valid combination of those operators. I would provide examples but the parser for this forum messes up my examples.
    The exception is "equals" which does not require the operator, it would simply be C2

  • Is there any way to use a formula or reference in conditional formatting

    I would like to use conditional formatting (or something similar) to change either the background color, or text color, of a cell. The conditional formatting in the inspector will allow you to do this using numbers or text as the condition.
    Is there any way to do the same thing using either a formula or cell reference? I have created a budget with two sheets, "Budget" and "Actual". Each sheet has two tables, "Income" and Expenses." In the "Actual :: Expenses" table I would like to be able to change the cell color depending on the difference between the Actual and the Budget corresponding cells.
    I know I can do this by making a new column "Difference" write the formula and enter conditional formatting for that particular cell, but I DON'T WANT TO!!
    Just for fun, is there any way to roll over a cell and have a info box "pop up" that could show me what the difference between the two corresponding cells is. Kind of similar to how when you roll the mouse pointer over a file the box expands to show you the entire name of the file. Not to optimistic about this one.
    Thanks

    Yes, Peter. Purchase iWork 09. Numbers 09 offers conditional format vs. content of another cell.

  • Reference Rebate condition

    Hi Sap gurus!
    I have a rebate condition, ZBO3, and a reference condition of that, ZZO3 in the same sales pricing procedure. I have two agreements for the same condition rebate, ZBO3.  When I create a billing document, it finds and displays the two agreements for the rebate condition but only finds and displays the first agreement with the reference condition ZZO3.
    I need display the two agreements with the reference condition, ZZO3. Can you help me?
    Thanku2019s for your time

    Hi
    If the customer has returned the materials then create the Returns order (with ref to billing doc) and then do billing then automatically the accruals value get reduced and as the customer has returned the stocks for that also this flow will be working . So if you do the following flow then the accurals value will get adjusted and the materials will also be taken back
    VA01 (order type-RE) ->VL01N(Post goods receipt) -> VF01(Billing ). You might have done this flow only

  • How do I make a cell reference the condition in a COUNTIF statement?

    I have a formula:
    =COUNTIF(Funds Under Management by Client :: D2:D91,">3.0")
    However, I want to replace the condition '3.0' with a reference to another cell eg B2 so that I can play around with different values and have them immediately reflected in the COUNTIF total. Problem is, I can't find the right syntax to achieve this. I want the formula to actually look something like this:
    =COUNTIF(Funds Under Management by Client :: D2:D91,">B2")
    Is this possible, and if so, how do I do it? Making the formula refer to a cell saves me from having to manually change 90 odd cells in the spreadsheet every time I want to vary the criteria.
    TIA

  • How to do relative pasting of conditional formatting?

    -I have a table with 5 columns and 220 rows.
    -I have a conditional format set up in the first row. The fill color of col 2-5 changes based on col 1 value.
    It seems I can't paste the first row's conditional formatting to the other 219 rows without having to go back and edit each row's condition to point to it's own first column.
    What am I doing wrong??? It's like the pasting of the conditional formatting isn't doing relative pasting of the condition.
    Thanks!

    Hi twangy-
    I am trying achieve what you seem to have accomplished. i.e. changing the colour of a cell/s based on another cell. How did you do this?
    Hi Andy,
    I suspect twangy hasn't told us the whole story here, as the conditional formatting of a particular cell cannot depend solely on the contents of another cell.
    What it can depend on is the value in that other cell compared to the value in the cell to be formatted.
    To apply this colour change to a group of cells often requires the use of an auxiliary cell whose purpose is to take on a value whereby the same condition will be either TRUE compared to all cells in the set or FALSE compared to all cells in the set.
    The easiest comparison to use for this purpose is 'greater than' or 'less than' as all that's required for the auxiliary cell is to set its value to something just outside the range if values included in the set of cells to format.
    Example 1: I have a row of four cells (B2, C2, D2 and E2), and I want them all to turn red if the sum of the values they contain exceeds the value in another cell (G2).
    It can't be done directly, but I can set up an auxiliary cell (H2) with an IF statement to create a value that is greater than the value in any of the cells to be formatted when the sum of their values is greater than G2 or a second value which is less than the value in any of the four cells when their sum is less than or equal to the value in G2.
    I can then set the same rule for all four cells: (Apply the format when 'my' value is) Less than   H2
    Formula for H2 in this case:
    =IF(SUM(B2:E2)>G2,MAX(B2:E2)+1,MIN(B2:E2)-1)
    Example 2: If the value in any of the four cells exceeds the value in G2, apply the formatting to all the cells.
    As previous example, but formula for H2 is now:
    =IF(OR(B2>G2,C2>G2,D2>G2,E2>G2),MAX(B2:E2)+1,MIN(B2:E2)-1)
    Note that the two possible values of H2 are the same in both formulas. All that differs is the comparison with cell G2 that determines which value H2 will have.

  • Relative references

    I've created an application which uses some images, which are all bundled together in a jar file.
    I reference the images using object.setIcon(new ImageIcon("images/Icon1.gif"));This works fine, and I can happily run the applicaiton using: ~user/files/prog/ $ java -jar foo.jarMy problem arises when a user types:~another/ $ java -jar ~user/files/prog/foo.jar My icons aren't loaded, because they can't be found in ~another/images/
    Any ideas for this one??
    Thanks

    try:
    import java.net.*;
          try {

             object.setIcon(new ImageIcon(url));
          } catch (Throwable e) {
             System.out.println("error");

  • How to remove related reference?

    Hello,
    I have two entity service: Incident and DispatchOffice.  Service "Incident" has relation to DispatchOffice service with name "dispatchOfficeRef" and cardinality 0..n. I want to delete one related object from this relation:
    String key = <incident_object_key>;
    String rel_key = <related_object_key>;
    AIncident inc = IncidentServiceProxy.read(key);
    bool result = inc.removeDispatchOfficeRef(DispatchOfficeServiceProxy.read(rel_key));
    inc.getAspect().sendChanges();
    During running this code I have no errors. After removeDispatchOfficeRef() call "result" variable has "true" value. But CAF doesn't anything: relation still exists.
    Permission check are disabled for both entity services.
    What I does wrong? Thanks for help.
    Best regards,
    Eugeny

    I found answer on my question.
    I created application service with following code:
    Incident inc = this.getIncidentService().read(incident_key);
    inc.removeDispatchOfficeRef(dispatch_off_key);
    this.getIncidentService().update(inc);
    It's works.
    CAF is very very strange thing.

    i am getting out put as ID = 1,2,3
    but i should get the output as ID=1
    i should get the ID which satisfies all the given attributes and values.
    i cannot use the AND for each Name and Value here as i the no.of values inName or Value field may increase and that will be dynamically passed from my java class.

  • Changing Expressions reference from relative to absolute?

    Is there an automated way to change an Expression's relative references (e.g., thisComp / thisLayer) to more absolute references like Comp("MyComp25").layer("MyLayer10.mov")
    When I copy and paste layers that reference other layers into new comps, the expressions not surprisingly get invalidated since those layers do not exist in the new thisComp

    It's pretty straight forward, but it's not trivial. There may be something out there already that does this, but I'm not sure where. Basically, you need something that will drill down, recursively through all the properties in a layer, see if the property can accept an experssion, see if it has an expression, and then do a text replace on "thisComp". (It doesn't seem like you'd need to worry about "thisLayer"). There are examples out there on how to do the recursive part (which is where most of the work is).

  • Create a new condition type, which reference to another condition type

    I have a condition type Z002, which is reference to another condition type Z001 (Z001 is always negative, I have set the condition limit from -0.01 to -99,999,999), but with opposite sign.
    User need to maintain only condition record for condition type Z001.
    e.g. value for Z001 is -100, then value for Z002 is 100.
    I have set Z002 reference to condition type Z001, but how to setup so that they always have opposite sign?
    Thanks.

    Go to pricing procedure in t.code V/08. Against condition type Z002, maintain routine number 164 (Basis * -1)in the column Alternative formula for condition base value. If this routine is not available, you can develop one in t.code VOFM (you can get help from ABAP'er) with required logic and assign here.
