Release Controled code and the Cloud i.e LR 5.3rc
Lightroom 5.3rc has just been announced. What are the options for user contol over using Release Controled code if you are using a Cloud version of the LR code?
This something it would be nice to know, before making a commetment to use the Cloud.
I finally installed Adobe Lightroom CC app successfully, but Photoshop CC did not load due the 'download appears corrupted'. No other help is offered except to try again in a few minutes which I have several times to to no avail. Code U43M1D204 was provided.

If none of the codes worked, try the following procedure. (As before, we will use the example of a TV. For other devices use the appropriate Device Key instead of the
TV
key in step 2 and 3.)
1. Turn on your TV.
2. Press and hold the TV key.
3. While holding down the TV key, press OK
4. Release both keys. The Device Keys will blink twice.
5. Press 9 - 2 - 2
6. Point the remote at the TV.
7. Press the play button
8. Press FF button . Every time you press the FF button the remote sends out a new power-off command to the TV. Keep pressing FF until the TV turns off.
9. When the TV turns off, you have found the right code. Press OK to store this code.
Note: There are over 300 TV and DVD codes. The most common codes are tried first, but you may still need to press FF over 300 times to find the right code. If you reach the end of the list of codes the entire remote will flash twice and return to normal operation. You can exit programming at any time by pressing EXIT
If you do this and it still doesnt work, then your tv and the verizon remote dont have a common code and it will not work with your tv.

I opened iTunes and the cloud is not syncing up, so i cannot watch movies or tv shows over the cloud through itunes, however it was there a few days ago, now randomly gone.
Are you sure you bought and not rented them? Renting lets you to access the video for up to 48 hours.

Is there a way to Move files to the iCloud thus freeing up disk space on my Mac? Or does iCloud only sync (replicate) files between my Mac and the cloud? I want to free up disk space on my Mac and assumed that the icloud would be a good way to do this, but having 'moved' 70Gb of files to the iCloud drive (I've upgraded to 200Gb storage) my Mac is still nearly full and I've realised that it seems to just Sync files just like dropbox.
So, the big question is did the Apple guys confirm that this is how the new iCloud drive should be working? I'm guessing, from your response, that this is indeed the case. Are they going to fix this anytime soon? I thought that this was a new function of the iCloud drive in Yosemite.
I just want an online storage facility to back up my photo & music collections. I did look at Dropbox as they have a good deal going with their Dropbox Pro, however this is still just a sync service where the Master files reside on your local disk drive - although I have read that there may be a way to work around this. Still not ideal. -
iphone 4s stopped in middle of update (via wireless). apple logo and usb picture appeared on phone. When i plugged in to computer, indidcated I would have to restore. in the middle of restoring, i got a "unknown Error" (1) code and the apple id and usb picture are frozen on screen. Anyonw know what to do?

It sounds like you are getting error code 1 when you were attempting a restore. I would use these troubleshooting steps from the following article which mentions that error code:

Check for hardware issues
Related errors: 1, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 1000, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.
Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support.

Firefox hangs with an error message something like - Script not complete or still running.
I cannot uninstall Firefox with the uninstall program routine in the Control Panel and the Mozilla uninstall helper.exe program will not run either. How do I completely uninstall Firefox so I can make a clean reload?

BTOpenzone and The Cloud - connections - N900
Has anyone ben able to connect to BTOpenzone and The Cloud wifi networks? Specifically I have an O2 SIM only contract with internet access which is meant to provide WiFi acess through BTOpenzone and The Cloud at hotspots such as various branded coffee shops BUT I canot log on and O2 is not interested in assisting because O2 does not "support" the N900.
if it comes with o2 then you should have a username and password to access it

I cannot delete music off my phone... I have gone to settings and the cloud stuff is gone. but when I try to swipe left to right or right to left to delete songs I want off my phone, it just plays the song!!!! How do I seriously delete music now??

I'd like to program a LOCAL ACCESS NUMBER, then insert a WAIT or a PAUSE function, followed by a constant string of numbers [international code, country code and the destination phone number]. Dialing the local, US access number is not an issue, but I can't find any info in the manual on how to insert a WAIT or PAUSE or how to insert the remaining string of international codes and destination phone number. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Alternate emaiI addresses are not used for resetting security questions, only your rescue email address is. If you don't have access to your rescue email account (you won't be able to change the address until you can answer your questions) then you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

Like Snow Leopard, Lion does not support PowerPC-based Macs (e.g., Power Macs, PowerBooks, iBooks, iMacs (G3-G5), eMacs).

That's the question. I've seen a lot of cautionary tales regarding the switch to Lion. Have not heard much about moving to the Cloud. What is the current consensus? Other than the desire to move to the Cloud, I am happy with Snow Leopard. I'm running Snow Leopard on a MacBook, an iMac and a MacMini. Feedback appreciated.
You will mostly only read about complaints with Lion in here, since this is a forum for users whom are having trouble with it. I for one, have had it since its first day of release and have had only a few minor problems that have been fixed with software updates.
