  • Release orders for value contract

    Hi Folks,
I have question on value contract.
Customer contract is fullfilled by issuing orders against the contract. When a release order is created for the contract, the system automatically updates the released values in the contract. The release order value is calculated from the total of the open order and delivery values, plus the value that has already been billed to the value contract. System checks this value with "Outline agreement target value" in value contract and issues warning or error message depends on configuration settings in value contract item catagory.
We have business scenario where system has to check net value of value contract rather than checking "Outline agrrement target value" in value contract. Because we offer some discounts to customer in value contract thus net value of the contract differs from agreement value. So that system will issue error message when release order value exceeds net value of value contract.
Is there any customizing settings available to meet the requirement?
    Awaiting for your inputs.

    Prabhaharan

  • MM:Release Strategy for Release Order again Approved Contract

    Hi,
Release strategy for Release Order is required or not against approved contrat??
As fas as I know once the contract is approved, release order is not required to approve again.
This is the standard setting from SAP or We need to do some setting for this??
In my support project I have studied the release procedure and found that, same release strategy and release Group has been used for Purchase Order and Contract.
Please let me know if anyone have faced this rquirement  or I have to go for Z development for this requirement.
    Thanks you.

    Hi Lalita,
Thank you for your quick suggestion.
yes definitely the release stratergy and release group should be set up separately but here both are same
that is the reason this is  picking of the same release procedure again evenif the contract is approved.
we have following release characterstic for the release procedure.
    1) Purchasing Group
    2)Total Net Order Value
    3)Order Type
    4)Purchase Organisation
    5)Material Group.
I think for the above characterstic we must a separater value for PO and Contract but Currently all are merge
    in this only
But Can you tell me "Release Order should be subjected to release procedure" this is correct or not .
If yes then what is the base for this, I mean is it working on the concept that " If do relevent
release characterstic value is found then no release procedure and this is treated as autorelease in sap"
    Thanks you.

  • How to create release order for value contract?

    dear experters,
I create a value contract by T-code:va41, order type"WK1".I set a Assortment module to this order and mateirl "WKM1" to  it.
then I create release order by T-code:va01 with refrence to this value contract, but it set the material "WKM1"  to the sales order, and I can't modify this material! I want to put another material which belong to the assortment module in the value contract. I want to know how.
    thanks.
    Best regards
    lance

    Assortment Module for Value Contracts
This function enables you to define a list of materials that can be released from a value contract. Materials can be assigned to more than one assortment module.
An assortment module is an entry tool and can be called up from the value contract. It is valid for a certain time period.
If you delete a material from the assortment module, to which a value contract refers, you will be unable to release that material.
In the value contract, only materials with the same sales organization and distribution channel as the value contract can be taken from the assortment module. All the other materials in the assortment module are not displayed in the value contract.
To fulfill both these requirements, two types of value contracts are offered in the standard system:
    Value contract type WK 1
You can specify a product hierarchy or a assortment module for value contracts with contract type WK 1. The system will always propose this type of contract, if you want to create a contract for several materials or a certain group of materials. All the materials in the relevant assortment, or belonging to the specified product hierarchy are then relevant for release.
Value contract type WK 2 (material-related)
You can create contracts for one material (usually configurable) with this type of value contract. A software company is an example of where this kind of contract is often used. There, a contract for the value of $500,000 is made with the customer for one specific software product.
You can also agree on the length of the contract for this type. The contract duration can be agreed at item level and can be different from the contract duration specified at header level.
You can store special price agreements for the value contract. These price agreements can then be used at any level. For example, a value contract can contain prices for individual materials, or discounts that are valid for every released material.
    Release Orders
The customer fulfills a contract by issuing orders against the contract. The contract does not contain any exact dates for deliveries, so you need to create a sales order to release against a value contract.
When a release order is created for the contract, the system automatically updates the released values in the contract. The release order value is calculated from the total of the open order and delivery values, plus the value that has already been billed to the value contract.
The system also updates the released value for subsequent changes (for example, overdelivery of contract release, price changes in the billing document, partial deliveries, returns, rejection of order items, cancellation or reversal of orders, deliveries or billing documents).
You can create a release order in any currency. The system automatically converts this currency into the one agreed upon in the value contract on the pricing date for the contract release order.
Creating Assortment Modules for Value Contracts
    Procedure
To create an assortment module, proceed as follows:
    1. From the initial screen choose Logistics >Sales and Distribution >Master data.
    2.Choose Products >Value contract - Assortment module > Create.
You will then be in the Create assortment module: Initial Screen.
Module type 6 is defined for the value contract.
    3. For external number assignment, enter a module number.
You can then use existing modules as a reference by entering the name of the module under reference.
    4. Choose Enter.
    5. Enter a short description for the module.
    6. Enter a validity period for the product proposal.
During a release, the system checks if the release date lies within the validity period.
    7. Create the materials that you wish to assign as items to a module.
You can display a list of materials as a product proposal, which you can then copy into the assortment module. To do this, choose Suggest material, enter the selection criteria in the subsequent screen and copy the selected materials to the items. Use Edit > Delete item to delete the materials that you do not want to copy to the assortment module.
    8.Save your entries.
Also Please check the copy control in VTAA

  • PO Order value against Contract

    Hi,
I am loading data from 2lis_02_hdr, 2lis_02_itm, 2lis_02_scl datasources in to cusotmized cube.
In the ITM datasource we have fields EBELN(PO Number), KONNR(Agreement number), and we have a filed NETWR(Net Order value) against the PO number.
Here requirement is they want report which contain Target value(KTWRT), Order Value(NETWR) against Agreement no(KONNR).
In the customized cube I consider Agreement and Agreement Item fileds as per requirment
I have created query with the following navigations:
I restricted PO number with Doc type=WK (for Agrement number)
    selcted PO number in Rows
selected Target value and Order value in columns.
In Query Output it is not showing Order value against the Agreement number,
As we know One Agrement number can have more than One PO's but in datasource level he maintains Order value against PO number.
So How will I get the Order value against Aggrement number..what calculations are required at what level..if routines required let me know the code in brief
    Thanks in Advance
I will assign points for each reply..please help out this problem immediately..

    hi,
    Wht exactly do you need??
yes, once you use del. comp. indicator and then you post the doc. later, the qty remains same it doesn't get updated bcoz by default system updates it in PO History...
Why do you want same with GR?? Why you wanna keep GR histories?? it'll increase complications and will create problem while invoicing and that the reason sap has not provided it...

  • Release Order for Value Contract WK1

i dont want to create sales order with referance to contract.
    i have done below.
    1. i created assortment module in wsv2 tcode for value contract
    2. i created value conract (type WK1) in va41 tcode
    3. i created (messages about outline agreement) "check at item level and copy if unique" sales doc type OR in tcode vov8
so, when i created a sales order (OR) without referance to value contract, i want the sales order to find the related contract at item level and copy
but sales order cant find the material in the assortment module that i created in contract type wk1.
    where am i doing wrong?

    Hi,
Firstly, I assume you have properly setup all the copy control of of the document types you want to use and also properly defined the document types and item categories you want to use.
Maybe you want to check/try the following: -
    1. Check the validity of the assortment module you have created.
    2. Try to create the assortment module again using tcode WSO1.
    3. In your Order Type "WK1" and under the "Contract", maybe include the subsequent Order = OR
    4. Check that your material has the product hierarchy properly setup?
    5. Finally, try to use indicator "B: check at item level" instead of "D: check at item level and copy if unique". You would not get a dialog box in OR if you use indicator D as it will automatically copy to the OR if there is exactly one reference document created.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Please let me know what are the configuration settings needs to be done.
For ex: contract value 1000 USD
So system should allow to create RO against contract 1100 USD it means 10% tolerance on contract value.
It seems nobady have idea on this issue
    Thanks

you idea  is just in conflict to SAP design and as well it does not follow the good business practise and violates the meaning of a contract.
a contract is a written agreement between vendor and you (customer) that fixes a certain quantity at a certain price for a certain period.

  • Release PO against contract whit limit value for USER

    Dear colleague,
We work SRM server 5.5 . SP14 extended classic scenario, and we use contract management.
We need to release PO against contract and we want to LIMIT the users that PO value have  to be between 60 USD as minimum order value and 120 USD as maximum order value.
We know that solution for the minimum order value is to use the u2018minimum order valueu2019 in the contract item with the value 60.
Can someone help with the solution to limit user to maximum order value against contract.
    Thanks
    B.R.
    Gil shinar

One option is that you could implement the maximum value logic in BADI BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI and give out proper error message if the user enters value outside of the range.

  • Contract and release order for service: connection and field selection

    Hi Experts,
I have some questions about contract and release order (PO against contarct) for services.
A -I want ot know if there is any standar way to oblige the creation of a release order to a contract. I mean i had some users  that create a release order w/o reference to the contract and it works fine anyway. The document is a copy of the NB. I cant find the way to reference the 2 purchase document clearly.
B - Using a release order, when copying the item from contract catalogue by clicking the service selection icon,  description and net price are correctly copied:  the description is not modifiable  but the net price can be change by the user. Can some body explain me where to modify this setting? where is the field selection and where in SPRO step by step please,
    thanks in advance
    Livio

... Nobody is so nice to suggest me any solution?
For the point A probably the only way is user-exit.... but for B i don't have any idea, please let me know
    thanks

  • Purchase Orders against Contracts/Sales Orders report

One of our divisions creates long term Contracts against which there are potentially hundreds of Purchase Orders created as the work continues. I have seen reports of POs for material group (ME2C), vendor (ME2L) and more but is there one that will list POs for a Contract or Sales Order.
Apologies if I'm missing something obvious but I must admit I cannot seem to see it if it does exist.
    Many thanks in advance

  • Coding to calculate net purchase order value against the contract?.

    Hi ,
    Please help.
Can any one send me the coding to calculate net purchase order value against the contract?.
    Thanks

I got the below coding and information from SDN, would you please help me to fix this coding
    infomation from SDN
For the above requirment I have coded a program in Endroutine but it is not populating cummulative Order value against Contract.
    DATA:
    WA_ty_t_TG_1 TYPE tys_TG_1.
    data: netsum type char15.
    types:begin of ty_net,
    netsum type /BI0/OINET_PO_VAL,
    V_EBELN TYPE /BI0/OIOI_EBELN,
    end of ty_net.
    data:t_net type standard table of ty_net .
    data:wa_net type ty_net.
    SORT RESULT_PACKAGE BY CONTRACT.
    loop at RESULT_PACKAGE INTO WA_ty_t_TG_1.
    WA_NET-V_EBELN = <RESULT_FIELDS>-CONTRACT.
    AT END OF CONTRACT.
    netsum = WA_ty_t_TG_1-NET_PO_VAL + NETSUM.
    ENDAT.
    WA_NET-netsum = NETSUM.
    APPEND WA_NET TO T_NET.
    CLEAR:T_NET,NETSUM.
    ENDLOOP.
    loop at RESULT_PACKAGE assigning <RESULT_FIELDS> .
READ TABLE T_NET INTO WA_NET WITH KEY
    V_EBELN = <RESULT_FIELDS>-CONTRACT
    <RESULT_FIELDS>-/BIC/YNET_VAL = NETSUM.
    CLEAR: WA_NET-NETSUM.
    endloop.
    <RESULT_FIELDS>-/BIC/YNET_VAL = netsum.
    CLEAR:NETSUM,<RESULT_FIELDS>-/BIC/YNET_VAL.
    ENDLOOP.
I have coded above one..let me know what mistake I have done.in the bolded loop I have given INTO instead of Assigning, because I need all records which assigns to WorkArea, but while executing DTP its leading to shortdump.if I replace Assigning statement, its working fine. but zero values in output( I think wrong in logic part)
Let me know the brief coding part if I am wrongly coded.

  • Services formula value in contract release order

    Hi
We have a quantity contract with services, the services contain a formula ABC to determine quantity. After selecting the service in the contract release order the full contract quantity is imported resulting in an error message.
Is there a specific user exit or other method to default the service formula values ABC to 111 after selecting the service in the contract release order?
    thanks

Anyone any ideas? is there a user exit/enhancement or could a user parameter work?
    Any guidance most appreciated.

  • Contract release order

    Hi experts,
    Here is my issue
created a value contract for services with a target value
    and unplanned services
while creating release order agnst the contract, system asking to enter limit or flag unlimited
    even I flag "no limits"
system throwing the same message again & again
Could any one solve this issue
    TR

    Hi
In the limits tab in the PO you need to specify the overall limit for the realease order & for the contract item you need to specify the No limit at the contract line item as well as the No limit flag in the Limits tab.
Please note there are two no limit flags you need to flag them both.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Vendor block code for release order creation but no purchase order creation

The client has a vendor block code which when applied to a vendor through vendor block screen should allow release order creations against existing contracts and ARC but it should not allow purchase order creation. However, it is allowing purchase order creation also. Can anyone tell how to achieve this selective treatment that allows RO creation against existing contracts and ARCs' but no PO creation.
Are there any settings or configurations that have to be made in SPRO and other areas to achieve this.I would appreiate if anyone could give in a detailed and step wise solution.

    Hi
Take out all the blocks on company code and purchasing organization in XK05.
Only put block function as 01 (purchase order). It will not allow you to create purchase order but you can create contracts and release orders against contracts.
    Thanks

  • Authorized Partners for Release Orders with customer hierarchy

    Hello everyone,
I have created a value contract with order type WK1, in the order type WK1 configuration, choose rule B  for check partner auth. field, namely we want to use
customer hierarchy to detemine the sold-to-party for the follow-up release order. Also I have created the customer hierarchy with hierarchy type A. There are
four levels under this hierarchy, it contains four customer nodes and four customers. Every customer is belong to a customer node. The partner determination
for the customer hierarchy have alredy done, I can see the customer hierarchy "1D" at the partner tab of header in the contract, but when I release the sales
order against  the contract, input a low-level customer number, still got the message "partner X is not authorized to release from contracts.".
I want to know if I missed some settings in order type configuration or the copy control from WK1 to OR. If this scenario need integrate with  CRM system?  I
have found some related information, just list below:
Partners in the hierarchy (Rule B)
If the partner who wants to release against the contract is the sold-to party of the contract or at a lower level in customer hierarchy to the sold-to party in the contract, the system accepts the partner as the sold-to party for the release order.
If rule B is defined for the contract type, you can search for authorized partners for a release order using the contract number. Equally, you can search for the relevant contract for a release order using the partner number. In this case, the partner authorization rule is irrelevant.
    Prerequisites
If you wish to use group hierarchies other than pricing hierarchies to determine authorized partners, you must have created a hierarchy category and a hierarchy:
To create the hierarchy category, go to Customizing for CRM under Master Data --> Business Partner-->  Business Partner Group Hierarchy.
To create the group hierarchy, go to the SAP Easy Access Menu and choose Master Data --> Business Partners --> Maintain Group Hierarchy.
Note that you can only create group hierarchies in the SAP GUI and not in the People-Centric user interface.
You must have activated the necessary settings for the sales contract and the release order in the IMG for CRM. For more information, see Transactions ---> Settings for Contracts -->Define Settings for Authorized Partners.
      Thanks!
