Remap or move custom dimension data to another custom dimension

What is the process to move data from one custom4 dimension to another at both the entity currency level and in posted journals in all scenarios and years? Once this has been done, what is the best process to remove the data from it's original custom4 dimension, which we will then delete from the custom4 hierarchy? Does this data have to be removed, or will it be 'deleted' when we delete this custom4 dimension, and then actually deleted through the delete invalid records process?
We are using HFM version 9.3.3.

If I understand the question, the process is the same if you were to rename the Custom 4 member. You have to first extract all of the data including journals for all time (all scenarios, all years, all periods) for all entities that loaded data or posted journals to that member. In the extracted files you can find/replace the member name.
Load the metadata file with the new member in it, so that both the old and new exist together.
You then have to dig through all of the application objects that might have that member name hard coded in them: grids/forms/rules/lists/reports/smart view/system reports, and edit every object, re-pointing everything to the new name. Don't forget to update all of your data integration (FDM maps) and outbound data integrations that would be impacted by this change.
Once everything has been moved over, load a metadata file that omits the old member, and use Replace mode. Make sure you keep Check Integrity enabled as this will double check if you overlooked any journals or journal templates that still reference the old member name. Once it can be safely loaded, you can load back all of the updated journals and data.
Sound like fun? Renaming metadata can be a lot of work, so I don't recommend doing this unless there is no other option.

How can we move the 'application data\apple computers' folder to another location

We use roaming profiles and the Application Data folder is stored on a network drive with restricted space (500MB). This has not been a problem in the past but since we've been rolling out iPad's & iPhones, this restriction is becoming a problem as iTunes download's ios updates and stores device backups in 'application data\apple computers' folder (and not in the media library).
Does anyone know how we can move this 'application data\apple computers' folder to another location or force iTunes to store the downloads/updates in the media library (which can be moved)?

Hello. I have far too many Calendar items every day in my iCal. Until I finally pare them down to a reasonable level, I need to "reschedule" all of my unfinished ToDo items and reminders, to another day, later in the week.
There doesn't seem to be any "Select All" feature available.

There are two solutions . . . I run my iTunes Library off an external hard drive. However, this may limit the portability of your library. Though a La Cie Rugged external would help with that (I love mine, though I use it for diagnostics and repair, not for iTunes--but it does get around).

Hi. I've been having this problem for a while. So recently, I've made a new account for myself, since I was using my mom's user account. I don't want to keep all of my files, emails, and icloud on her user, since it's used by everyone in my family. I use iMail now because hotmail blocked my email because "Someone hacked me" and they kept it locked for all these months, and I can't give enough proof to show it was mine, since I forgot every email I've sent now.
And iMail is pretty cool, adding your own rules and stuff. Except you don't need a password to log in. I just deactivate my iMail via system preferences as a log-out, and then re-activate it as a log-in.
So, back to the question.
How can I move ALL app data from my mom's user account to my new one? Her acount also has pictures of our germany vacation. So not every file.
You see, I game on my mac mostly because steam is really complicated, using internet just to play a game that doesn't need internet and stuff.
And steam doesn't have a lot of casual games.
So I want to move my game data, save files and every little piece of application info that my games have on my mom's account to mine. I've asked this question on Yahoo answers, and all I got was an answer of "File IS data, or datum itself, You are wrong. I cannot give you an answer." -.-
I'm not experienced with terminal either, so I'll need a ton of explanation of how to use it if that's how it can be done. It really really confuses me and I'll just give up.

How do I move the /Users folder to another disk

I have a shiny new MacPro, dual proc, with four, one TB hard drives in it, running OS X Server on Mountain Lion. The first disk is the startup drive, the other three are simply empty, partitioned drives.
I am to be the sysadmin for this machine (and a half dozen Macbook Pros) for my organization. I don't want user data to exist on the startup disk on this machine. Right now, the only user that exists is my sysadmin account. I want the three non-startup hard disks to hold the user data. I think that what I want to do is map the /Users folder to one (or all) of the other three hard disks, and get that data off of the startup disk.
How do I change the location of the /Users folder?
Assuming this is possible, or desirable, the next question would be about RAID. I have not created any RAID arrays using disk manager yet (this Mac Pro does not have a RAID card).
Should I first create a concatenated RAID set from the three additional disks? I see no advantage to striped or mirrored sets, I will have a HUGE external drive for TimeMachine, and disk access speed is just fine. But, I think I'd want drives 2, 3, and 4 to act as one big drive. I think the concatenated RAID set is the answer to that.

With drives of 2, 3 or 4TB now why use three and the one time I used Apple's concatenate, no I didn't like the way it made use of drives. So I would either stripe or mirror, and maybe not even using Apple Disk Utility.

Best way To get data from another application using NDDE lbrary

My vb.net application gets data from another application using NDDE Library. I got stocks prices (open,high,low,close,volume,change......(about 15 records for each stock)) (about 200 stocks) . I don't know if there is a problem in my code.

According to your description, you'd like to get data from another app using NDDE library.
When using the NDDE library, the CPU usage is high. As the NDDE library is third-party library, it is not supported here. I suggest you checking if the problem is caused by the NDDE library.
If you'd like to get data from another app. I suggest you could save the data in the dataBase, and then read it in another application if necessary.

How can I extract non-cumulative cube data to another cubes ?

Dear Expert,
         I copied inventory cube 0ic_c03 to a new cube : ZIC_C03 , then I loaded the data of 0ic_c03 to the new cube ZIC_C03 .
the loading was sucessful, but the result of report of the ZIC_C03 was not correct. After looking into the problem, I found out
the new cube can successfully extract data related with "Goods movement" & "Revaluation", yet the extract of "Open Balance" does not seems to work.
         I have read through Note:375098, in which I could not find (InfoObject 0RECORDTP) in my start routine as mentioned in the solution
,and the note was not mentioned valid for BW 3.5 release.
         How can I extract non-cumulative cube data to another cubes correctly in BW3.5 release SP20?

I would like to import my bookmarks from IE but the 'Import Data from Another Browser' is greyed out and not an available choice.

By following the directions on Firefox to open up the Library tool - import & backup - The drop down choice to 'Import Data from another Browser' this choice is greyed out and unavailable. I do not know how to proceed in order to import my favorites from IE.
