Remote printing (*.rrpa)

Hi,
we are using orarrp,but it is not working .whereas in the case of character mode reports we use .rrpt and it works pretty well.
our code is
PROCEDURE Report_PrintOut(chrReportName Varchar2,chrPText01 Varchar2 Default Null,chrPValue01 Varchar2 Default Null) IS
ReportID REPORT_OBJECT;
ReportServerJob VARCHAR2(100);
vcFile Varchar2(255);
chrFilter      Varchar2(255);
BEGIN
vcFile := get_application_property(USERNAME)||TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,'YYYYMMDDHHMISS');
ReportID := Find_Report_Object('REP_Object');
Set_Report_Object_Property(ReportID, REPORT_EXECUTION_MODE, RUNTIME);
Set_Report_Object_Property(ReportID, REPORT_COMM_MODE, SYNCHRONOUS);
Set_Report_Object_Property(ReportID, REPORT_FILENAME, chrReportName);
Set_Report_Object_Property(ReportID, REPORT_DESFORMAT,'pdf');
Set_Report_Object_Property(ReportID, REPORT_DESTYPE, 'Cache');
chrFilter := chrPText01 || '=' || chrPValue01;
Set_Report_Object_Property(ReportID, REPORT_OTHER,chrFilter);
ReportServerJob:= Run_Report_Object(ReportID);
IF REPORT_OBJECT_STATUS(ReportServerJob) = 'FINISHED' THEN
Copy_Report_Object_Output(ReportServerJob,'G:\OraPrint\'|| vcFile ||'.rrpa');
WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT('..\oraprint\'|| vcFile ||'.rrpa','_blank');
ELSE
WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT('/reports/rwservlet/getjobid'|| substr (ReportServerJob,instr(ReportServerJob,'_',-1)+1)||'?'||'server=rep_ibmserver','_blank');
END IF;

    I am unable to use the Aio remote print app with either of hp printers which are e-print enabled to get the app to allow me to print more than 10 copies at a time and make the copies double sided.
    Would someone please help?
    Thank you,

    Hi Naeco,
    Welcome to the HP Support forums.   I understand that you have encountered a difficultly when using the HP AiO Printer Remote app.
    To better assist you would you please provide some clarifying information:
    1)       What make/model/product numbers of HP printers do you have? Guide to finding your product number
    2)      Are you trying to print 10  copies of a double-sided document that is stored on the device? Or are you trying to make 10 copies of a document that is on the printer?
    3)      What is the size of the document that you are trying to print?  I’m wondering if the size of the file might be the issue.
    Thank you.

  • Remote printer is recognized but message says can't find printer?  It worked great before installing OSX Maverick

    Remote printer is recognized but message says can't find printer?  It worked great before installing OSX Maverick?

    Thank you for your response.
    Unfortunately I have already rebooted the router and that did not fix the problem. The weird thing is that the computer is connected to the network, it just won't connect to my computer. I have printed the network configuration page to confirm this, and it says the wireless signal is strong.
    I have not changed anything at all recently in terms of routers, networks, etc. The printer stopped working completely randomly.
    Is there a part in the printer that like emits a signal which computers, phones, etc are supposed to detect? I don't know enough about the mechanics to really theorize about what is wrong, but it seems like that is the only thing that stopped working.
    Do you have any other suggestions?

  • Remote Printing on 2012 from Mac

    Hi all,
    I'm having an issue trying to setup remote printing from a Mac running OS X 10.6.8 using the 'Remote Desktop Connection' app and connecting to my Windows Server 2012 Remote Desktop Services server I have configured.
    The Mac is sitting on a completely different domain and network to the Remote Desktop Services server. I have turned on the 'Use a printer that is connected to this Mac' function within the Mac's Remote Desktop Connection application preferences however I cant
    see the printer on the Remote Server.
    I've made a few changes to Local and Group Policies to try get it working and had no success but perhaps I am not configuring these Policies correctly.
    Is anyone familiar with setting this up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I've manged to get the printer to actually print however regardless of what I print from the RDS server the printer only printers out,
    %%EndDocument
    %%EOF

  • HP Remote Print Drivers

    Hello,
    Just to give you some background, I have a HP PhotoSmart 6180 multifunction inkjet machine.  The printer has been wirelessly attached to my home network for about two years now (Linksys WRT54G).  All print functions work (printing to photo tray, using the document feeder, accessing the scanner, printing via bluetooth dongle, etc) when I am home on the network.  I even have on my Windows Mobile phone an application called HP iPhoto which allows me to wirelessly print to the photo tray.  You see, there are no problems on this end.
    Here is my problem: Using my Windows-based PC, I have the ability to print to it remotely via the internet.  I use the HP Remote Printing, v 2.323.0.0 driver and Instant Share through HP's site. I can also print remotely using any program that has a print function, i.e... Internet Explorer, MS Word, Adobe PDF, HP Solution Center, etc.). However, I cannot choose the photo paper tray.  I am only able to change the size of the print job, for instance: 4x6, 8 1/2X11, Hagaki.  In the HP Remote Printing Preferences, only two tabs are available: Paper/Quality and Basic.  In the Remote Printing Properties, the Device Settings tab (which is one of the tabs available when I look at the properties of the actual printer) is not available.  This is where I would add the available trays.  I believe it has to do with the driver version.
    It would help me tremendously if I can have the ability to choose the photo paper tray when printing remotely.  Most of the items that I send to my printer are photos. I've tried and tried to get help from HP, but to no avail (my printer is out of warranty, not applicable for free support, etc.).  Please help. It would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanking you in advance.

    Hi again.
    You're quite correct, it is CUPS (Common UNIX Printer System).
    Is http://www.linuxprinting.org/database.html what you were looking for?
    There are many '1100' HP printers listed.
    OSX also installs Gimp print drivers, I'm a total ignoramus as to how you set them up though, sorry.

  • How to print from internet to remote printer?

    The wife recently has a need to print from corporate LAN to a remote HP Laser @ our house. Mainly to save time. She wants to be able to run her reports at the end of the day from the corp LAN connection and spool it to a HP Laser at the house. This will get her out of work @ least 30 minutes early everyday. She can then review the report when she gets home. Is this possible? Home network is a OS X with AEBS connected via USB port on AEBS. Wife's laptop is a WIN XP. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    The latest printers provide remote printing by the HP ePrint feature,
    If your printer is the HP Officejet Pro 8500 (A909) as i can figure from your description, the ePrint feature unfortunately not supported by your printer.

  • Printing to Remote Printer in another state

    Not sure I am in the right section of this discussion board, but can I print to remote printer via the internet? Instead of faxing or emailing, can I send a document to a printer through the web but without additional software, will Leopard let me do it?

    Only if the remote printer is accessible over the Internet, and the remote site provides you with the information needed to access it. Otherwise, you'd be better off emailing the document to the remote site and let them print it directly.

  • I deleted Bonjour, since I don't need it for remote printing.  Now I get the message " Airport Base Station has stopped working: and also a message saying APAgent.exe can't be found.  What to do??? Thanks.

    I deleted Bonjour since I don't need it for remote printing.  Now on start-up I get the message: "Airport Base Station Agent has stopped working" and also message: "can't find APAgent.exe.:  Do I need AP Agent??  What to do??  Thanks.

    The APAgent monitors your AirPort base station and informs you if there are things like firmware updates available. This utility relies on Bonjour, but is not required for base station operation. However, Bonjour makes it easier for your PC to "find" the base station via the AirPort Utility and I would recommend that you keep it installed. If you don't want the APAgent, you can just use the Apple Updater utility (that was also installed when the AirPort Utility was installed) to remove it.

  • Remote Printing

    After years and years of convincing I finally got my wife to move her office computer to a Mac. Currently she remotes in from my iMac at home to her work PC. She is able to print documents opened on her work PC at home by using Microsoft Remote Desktop when she works from home.
    My dilemma is now that her work computer is a Mac I can't seem to get Apple Remote Desktop to print at home when dialed-in to her work Mac.
    Does ARD not allow remote printing like the Microsoft's Remote Desktop Connection for Mac? That's hard to believe... please help

    Sorry, but no, ARD does not have a "remote printing" feature. You can use ARD to copy a file to a remote Mac and than take control of that Mac to print the document, but you cannot print directly to the remote Mac (unless someone else here knows a trick I've not discovered).
    Depending on how your wife's company has things set up in their connection to the Internet, she may be able to just set up printer sharing on the work computer and print directly without needing ARD at all. A utility such as Slink may make that easier:

    I use Slink and it works quite well.

  • How to handle text of iframe to send to remote printer in client side?

    Hello everybody,
    I am having problem to handle the printing text of iframe to send to remote printer. I am using JDK 1.5, JSP and JBOSS. My clients have to print the information displayed in iframe to their remote Printer. I am using javascript code below to print:
    /* CODE IS IN JAVASCRIPT */
         document.frames[frameName].focus();
         document.frames[frameName].print(); But the main problem is that it takes a lot of times about 2 mins. Why is the above code taking so long time? Is it due to javascript code or the printing process? Is there any method or function to send printing text of iframe to printer faster?
    can anyone help me to solve this problem.....
    Thank You.

    Hello stevejluke,
    I am seeking for the suggestion whether it can be done through javascript or there is any other function or method in JSP that can replay javascript code and also work faster.
    Thank you.But JSP has nothing to do with it. JSP lives on the server, not the client. If can't control the client printer, can't know about it, and can't print to it. This is purely client-side, which means not JSP.

  • Adding remote printer to non-global zone

    I have a non-global zone with a remote printer defined, and lpstat shows
    # lpstat -lp abcdef
    printer abcdef disabled since Thu Jun 06 13:18:43 2013. available.
    Remote Name: abcdef
    Remote Server: 192.168.x.x
    On another non-global zone I want to print to the same printer. I referred to the Solaris Printing SAG, and I thought all I had to do is
    lpadmin -p abcdef -s abcdefserver
    but lpstat -lp abcdef gives
    Failed to get printer info for abcdef: not-found
    The zone is
    SunOS myzone 5.10 Generic_142909-17 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V490
    and the destination (abcdefserver) is a Windows server with the LPD service installed.
    What else do I have to do? I can ping and telnet abcdefserver:515, so the network part seems to be fine.

  • Remote printing problem using ssh tunnel in Leopard

    Haho,
    I've recently installed Leopard, and I have unexpected difficulties with setting up remote printing to the printers of my University via ssh tunneling. The following procedure worked (and still works) under Tiger, but for some reason it doesn't work with Leopard (not just for me, but other friends also have the same issue as I do). The question is what could be the source of the problem and how could I get around it?
    So, I have the same short user name on my home Mac as my login name in the University system. Then, I set up the proper printers (IP printer, LPD protocol, Address: localhost, the appropriate queue and printer type etc.). Whenever I want to print from home to the University, I would open a Terminal window, and sudo ssh -L515:XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:515 [email protected] . This is supposed to channel the printing which is sent to a localhost printer to the printers which can be reached through the University IP address.
    This method worked and works well under the latest version of Tiger, but not under Leopard (10.5, 9A581). I get no error messages, the printing seems to go through (at least no error seems to occur during spooling or logging in to the University with the terminal), but it simply doesn't prints out on the other end.
    I have no firewall or any other new network tools running which I'm aware of, and I'm not aware of any differences in the set-ups besides the change in the OS. The issue might be that of compatibility with the University printing system, but help in what exactly changed on the Mac side (something obviously did change) would help me a lot, especially since I don't think that the University technical crew would be very keen on (or competent in, for that matter) troubleshooting.
    Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Terminal Service - enable the "Start the following program at logon" cause my remote printer won't redirected?

    After I enable the "Start the following program at logon" on my User account windows 2003 Server R2 cause my remote printer won't redirected when the Remote User is logon to the Server, I don't know why? I checked the Terminal Services Configuration already

    And for you information, If I disable the "Start the following program at logon", the printer is redirected again, did I miss something in here?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I suspect that this application conflicts with Terminal printer redirection, whether all applications using "Start the following program at logon" option have this
    issue or not. You may try another application to see if the issue is gone.
    If your client PC is Windows XP, you may need install the Remote Desktop Connection 7.
