Remove all records in table OSPP

Hi all,
I have a customer that is wondering if there is a quick and easy way to delete all records in table OSPP. He is in the implementing stage and has made a mistake. If anyone has any advice that will not break the support contract with SAP that would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Form does not display all records from table

Hi guys
I modified one form that was based on a signle DB table. I removed certain fields from the table and added some extra fields to that table. Then based on the new table I also modified the form and removed the text items related to old fields in the table and added new text items pointing to the new fields now. II have checked all the new items properties and they have don't seem to be wrong or so. But now the problem is the form does not display all the records from the table. before it used to display all records from the table when qureied but not now. It only certain records from the table containing all new data and also old data but the form does not display other records though I don't see any obvious discrepancy. Remember that the before doing the modifications, I have table back for the old, created another table that contained new records for the new fields, and then I inserted the old records and updated the new table data in the new table with these new table values. So this way I have got my new table. Could someone help why the new modified form fails to display all records from the new table updated table though it display some of them successfully.
Any help will be appreciated.

I mean, if table has for example 5 records this5 records are displayed, if table has 100 records this 100 is displayed. If there are many records which are not visible in the window the scroll is added to window or to canvas that i could see them all.
And one more, i want to separate each record with some separator like line or picture.

You can increase the space between each record by setting the Distance Between Records property for each item.
If you want "sth like line" tnh u cn uz a nndtbs itm wiv 2 pxl hi plcd blw teh ovr itms. Alternatively, if you can write proper English, then for the separator you can use a non-database item 2 pixels high placed below the other items. Set the bevel, colour etc as you require, and set the Enabled property to false.
As an alternative, to make each record distinct from the next you could give each a different colour by creating a visual attribute, and setting the colour of each item on alternate rows with code similar to this, in the post-query trigger

To hide unused records you could try putting the items on a stacked canvas and change the viewport and scrollbar heights depending on the number of records retrieved. This might work or it might give you an error about items being off-canvas.
It looks like you're intending this to look like a blog's comments page so you'll probably have disabled inserts in the block and will be inserting new comments in some other fields. If not then there will be a problem if the user is on the last record and presses the down arrow or uses the 'Record > Insert' menu option, as this could put them on a record which is not visible on the form. You might be able to get round this by extending the height of the viewport in the key-crerec and key-nxtrec triggers (check for :system.last_record = 'TRUE'. Obviously, you'll need to resize the viewport when you delete records if that will leave fewer rows of data than there are rows of fields.

DT_UPDATEI use sql loader to load the data from .csv file to oracle table and have assign the value to dt_update sysdate. Everytime i execute the sql loader control file dt_update set as sysdate.
Sometimes problem occures while inserting data through sql loader and half row get insert. after solving the problem again i execute sql loader and hence these duplicate records get inserted.
Now I want to remove all the duplicate records for those dt_update is same.
Please help me to solve the problem

</pre>Have you ever tried that script for deleting duplicates? I think not. If you did you'd find it deleted non-duplicates too. You'd also find that it only deletes the first duplicate where there are duplicates.

Incomplete Data on report (report does not show all records from the table)

Hello,
I have problem with CR XI, I'm running the same report on the same data with simple select all records from the table (no sorting, no grouping, no filters)
Sometimes report shows me all records sometimes not. Mostly not all records on the report. When report incomplete sometimes it shows different number of records.
I'm using CR XI runtime on Windows Server 2003

A few more questions:
- Which CR SDK are you using? The Report Designer Component or the CR assemblies for .NET?
- What is the exact version of CR you are using (from help | about)
- What CR Service Pack are you on?
And a troubleshooting suggestion:
Since this works on some machines, it will be a good idea to compare all the runtime (both CR and non CR) being loaded on a working and non working machines.

ALV GRID Report is not showing all records which is in internal table

hi all,
have one doubt. please clarify me. ALV Report is working fine since long tiem. But suddenly this report is showing few records only for the given input.   Example:   it_main table have 50 records, but output is showing only 10 records only. (we have not made any modifications in this report).
temporarily i have given excel output file from it_main table. excel file is showing all records.
here it_main have all the records. but output is showing few records only. it is not showing any error. i have tested with REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY function also. but it also showing same results(few records only.)
please give me some idea.

Deleting all Records in a Table

I have an table that is populated as users login and move through an application so I can tell what they are doing as well as who is logged in. Once and a while I would like to empty this table of all records once I have exported the audit data. I would like to do this from the same page that I have based a tabular form on. Can any suggest the easiest way to achieve this?
Could the following SQL be used somewhere to do the job?
delete CREATE_BY, CREATE_ON, ACTION, SUBJECT from AUDIT;

Even with TRUNCATE (which is what I use to do this sort of thing), you have to bear in mind what happens to indexes on the table (and, I'm assuming that there will be sizable indexes involved) and the time it takes to clear these out on top of clearing out the table's data. From advice I've seen on the SQL forum, I do something like the following in PL/SQL to clear a table:

Delete all record in a table, the insert speed is not change.

I have an empty table, and i insert a record need 100ms,
when this table has 40,0000 record, i insert a record need 1s, this is ok, because i need do a compare based an index before insert a record, so more record, need more time.
The problem is when i delete all record in this table, the insert time is still 1s, not reduce to 100ms.Why?

Read through this portion of oracle documentation

The reason is still taking 1s, because when you inserted 400K record because HWM (The high water mark is the boundary between used and unused space in a segment.) moved up. And when you deleted all the records your HWM still at the same marker and didn't get to reset to 0. So when you insert 1 record it lookings for free space and after finding (generally a regular inserts got 6 steps it inserts data). If you truncate your table you and try it again it will be faster as your HWM is reset to 0.

Create infopath form contain all records of particular table

Hi,
It has resolved my above issue.
I want to create one sharepoint list connected with database and when i click on add new item, it should display infopath form.
I am able to show infopath form on click of 'Add new item' but sharepoint list not containing all records of that particular table.So how can i get all the records of my table.It is possible using external list. But in that case, can i show infopath form?

Help reg: Removing sel records in af:table and to prevent it from Commit

I have a af:table in a page with some records.The table is editable and the records in the table are fetched from the DB. Now, I edit some of the records in the table.
I would now like to delete one of the edited records.
The delete action listener method should remove the record from the table and when I click save on the page (to save the other edited records), the removed record should not get committed to the database.At the same time, the removed record (from the table) should not get deleted from the database either.
Can someone suggest on how can i achieve this?
I use a delete action listener method to remove the record from the table in the UI but not sure how to prevent the removed record from getting committed (since its been modified).

If you remove a row with the delete method, the row will be deleted from the db if you don't change the eo behavior.
You can, as mentioned in the last post, use the remove from collection to remove three row from the current repeat without removing it from the db. To get three row back you have to execute the query again.

whenever a user decides to choose another file to read, i would remove all the columns in the table and then write it all over again, However, I do not see such function in jtable, so how do I go about doing that?
