Remove 'internal goods/services' catalog

Dear experts,
We work SRM7.0
We use the professional SC (I meen SC in one screen and not the 4 steps SC).
When we want to add item to the SC we need to click on 'Add Item' button and a list of options is displayed.
The list includes Internal goods/service, limit item, Old SC and templates etc.
We want to remove the ' Internal goos/service' option - does anybody know how can we do it ?
Thanks ,
Lori

Hello,
Use methode SC_MODIFY_SCREEN from BAdI BBP_SC_MODIFY_UI
I think, for your need, good component is 'PRODUCT' from parameter IS_SCR_ITMCHOICE.

  • Change location and plant for Internal Goods/services

    Hi all,
I want to change the plant and location information of product/material for SC item selected from Internal goods/services.
I am changing the plant and location -  ( partner function 75 ) in  doc change badi but its getting reset to originial value .
Even if i see item check the value is getting replaced with original value.
My question is can I change Plant/location for item selected from Internal goods/services. I could succesfully change the value when I selected item from catalog.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks.

yes I have assignned the plant i mean BE_plant in the specified badi.
But still its getting overwritten. So im guessing is that possible for internal goods/services.

  • Supress option "internal Goods/services" in shopping cart creation screen

    Hello,
We always create shopping carts using catalogs from CCM 20. Therefor we want to supress the standard ordering option "internal goods/services" from the shopping cart template.
How can one do this easily. It doesnt seem to be configuration.
    Anyone did this before?
    Thanks for any reply.
    Aart

    Hi,
You are right. You need to implement BADI BBP_SC_MODIFY_UI.
You can write the foll code in the BADI 'BBP_SC_MODIFY_UI' in the method 'SC_MODIFY_SCREEN' to hide the links for Internal Goods/Services
*Hide the Link for Internal Goods/Services
    is_scr_itmchoice-product = ' '.

  • Internal goods/services query

    Hi all,
We are using classic scenario (SRM 7, ECC6)
I had this query when creating a shopping cart from internal goods/services. Want you to confirm if I am on the right track.
Observation: When I create a SC from internal goods/services, the PO is not created if an info record for the material/vendor combination does not exist. But if I have activated sourcing for this product category and the SC goes to SOCO, the purchaser is able to assign a price and PO is then created even without an Ino Record.
My reasoning for this is: Creating an internal goods/services SC is equivalent to creating a PR in ECC. Hence anyone who raises this PR (or created this SC) is not expected to know the price unless ofcourse there is an info record for that combination. Assuming there is no info record, the purchaser who creates the PO from this PR, can plug in the price manually and order the item (similar to what happens in SRM once the item goes to SOCO)
Pl validate my understanding and let me know if I am wrong.
    Thanks,
    Nikhil

    Hi Nikhil,
is it true that when I create an internal goods/services shopping cart for a direct material, I need to obligatorily have an info record to create a PO?
I wish, I had a system to check the functionality you are mentioning. Honestly speaking, I am not sure whether the same check is implemented when the PO is created in ECC backend for the direct procurement scenario. As you know, direct procurement scenario is like extended classic scenario wherein the backend PO is a copy of the PO created in SRM.
As you mention about an employee using the self service procurement scenario for direct material procurement, there is no such check or restriction in the employee role which prevents him/her for creating a shopping cart. But, in real life business scenario, a  central good receipient or store in charge uses the shopping cart for direct material scenario in case of shortage of stock in inventory. Here, the store address is taken as delivery address where the creator can receive it himself.
    Sorry for delayed reply.

  • "Internal Goods/Services" make the text-description changeable

    Hi SRM-gurus,
we'd like to make the TEXT description and the price changeable when adding an item (with mat.number) to shopping cart via "Internal Goods/Services". The price and the text which have been replicated from the backend should be changeable.
So far in the old R/3 system users were able to enter the material-number and then change the suggested description e.g. from "motor 12345" into "Repair motor 12345".
    Is this possible?
    Thanks for your help.
    Best regards,
    Henning

    Hello Henning,
It sounds like you should use a Described Requirement.  However, with what you stated about change the text, it almost sounds like a Service Master implementation.  I saysing this because the Motor 12345 sound like a Material Master item but Report Motor 12345 sounds like a Service Master item.
We do not use Service Masters and so utilize the Describe Requirement.
    I hope this helps.
    Regards, Dean.

  • Price cannot be changed while ordering from Internal Goods/Services

    Hi Experts,
In classic Scenario, after adding a product from Internal Goods/Services, it doesn't allow me to change the price. Moreover the product doesn't reflect price maintained in R/3 system. Any suggestions, why?
    Regards

    Hi,
If a source of supply exists (in SRM) and pickedup in your shopping cart then the price is picked up from there and is not editable. Could you please check that?

    Hi all,
In SRM550, Internet Service BBPSC01, template SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS 110, I would like to change the description of the text "Internal goods/services".

However, I am not sure how to change it and where to find the corresponding translation.
    Thanks and regards

  • Disable 'Find' (good /service) function in 'items in shopping cart' SRM 5.5

    Hi SRM experts,
after clicking on Shopping Cart (- Full functionality) you have the choice of searching in catalogs or you can scroll down to 'Items in Shopping cart' and enter the product-id directly in 'Good / Service'.
How can I disable this 'Find' option? So not the whole line, but only the 'find' option with the binoculars.
Hope you can help me out with this one.

    Hi Kubus,
I think you are talking about the 'Order as Direct Materail' button..
    Use BBP_DP_PROD_CHK_BADI.
    Method PRODUCT_CHECK
    Clear the parameter EV_DP_POSSIBLE.
Have a look at the following link:
Hide order as direct material button

  • Sql Server 2012 Integration Services Catalog views - cpu usage history

    Hi,
I am new to SQL Server 2012. I have deployed and executed a SSIS package on the Integration Services catalog.
Now, to analyze the performance of the executed package I wish to query the SSISDB catalog views to retrieve the cpu & memory usage history. Please let me know in which catalog view/table I can find this info.
There is a column named "Process_Id" in the "catalog.operations" table. Can we tie this id to the Sql Server pid/kid and then retrieve the cpu
    usage history ?
    ** I am using Sql Server 2012 **
    Thanks

    Hi All,
Thanks all for your inputs. One final question -
As I mentioned earlier, the Sql Server 2012 catalog views
DO NOT  capture various performance metrics
(e.g. cpu usage history, memory usage history etc) of
an executing SSIS package . However, I am cognizant of the fact that it is possible to retrieve this exact info
(ie. cpu usage history, memory usage history etc) for
a Sql-Server internally generated SPID (present in [sys].[dm_exec_sessions]).
The approach is to find a way to join/relate the catalog provided "Process_id" to the Sql Server generated internal SPIDs in a session. If I am successful in joining these 2 process ids together,
it will allow me to gather all the information available from both sides - ie the catalog views + the sql-server internal process SPIDs of the session. Thus, by tagging the SSIS pprocess_id to
its sql-server session it will allow to retrieve the resource usage details by the executed SSIS process.
**Please also let me know if the above could be achieved by any other approach.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks

  • MIRO Invoice Receipting Workflow Solution for unreceipted Goods / Services

    Hi
We wish to improve the flow of Invoice Receipting (MIRO).
    Problem:
Invoices are receipted centrally at head office
Goods/Service Receipts are performed on location at site
Some Invoices are received from the Vendor before site has goods/service receipted the item.
Current configuration prevents invoice being entered when no goods receipt.
Ideally, the sites would receipt on time, but as a solution we are considering two options. I would appreciate any thoughts on whether is possible as well as guidance on implementing a solution.
    OPTION A. - With Parking
    1. When Head Office cannot post invoice (due to unreceipted goods/service), user parks the invoice.
    2. This sends a workflow email to the site that invoice has been parked.
    3. Head Office attaches a scanned image of the invoice to the parked document, so the site can review.
    4. Site enters Goods/Service Receipt.
    5. Work flow is triggered back to head office that a goods receipt was performed against a PO that has a parked invoice
    6. Head Office posted parked invoice.
    OPTION B - Without Parking
    1. Configuration is changed so that Invoice Receipt can be performed when no goods/service receipt.
    2. Invoice is posted and blocked for payment.
    3. This sends a workflow email to the site that invoice has been blocked for payment.
    4. Head Office attaches a scanned image of the invoice to the parked document, so the site can review.
    5. Site enters Goods/Service Receipt.
    6. Work flow is triggered back to head office that a goods receipt was performed against a PO that has a blocked invoice.
    7. Head Office unblocks invoice.
    Many thanks
    Adrian

    Hi Adrian,
Option B is very much feasible by developing the workflow for users.
IF GR based IV is removed, Invoice can be done before GR. Having a GR based IV tick in PO (Mandatory) would ensure IV is raised only after the quantity is delivered.
I doubt if Scanning of invoice copy is possible in the MM system, but it would be feasible via Document Management in SAP.
Alternatively, you can have Idoc based creation for Invoice based on GR quantity.

  • Web Services (Catalog Links) seems to be dead

Sorry for the bad formating but the forum did not allow anything to format
    Hi experts,
I'm facing an strange problem within our SRM 7 Portal integration.
When I open the transaktion "shopping" to display all anabled web services/catalogues it's looks alll normal.
But when clicking on the link of an web service there happens nothing. There is no difference at the behavior when clicking the internal SRM MDM Catalog link or an external punch out catalog link.
When typing the URL of the catalog manually in the browser the page opens as intended.
I did a http trace so see what happens when i'm clicking one of the links. But now I have some data I can't read. So maybe you can help me to find out the defect.

  • How can I retrieve an existing .dtsx File out on Integration Services Catalog

I have a problem with an older SSIS Package and I am trying to decipher what exactly it does. I see the Package in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and in our Server and under
Integration Services Catalog. It has a .dtsx extension on it.
Is there any way that I can copy this Package, this .dtsx file, and open it Microsoft Visual Studio to see what exactly it does?
There doesn't seem to be anything available when I <Right-Click> on the .dtsx Package within Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio to Save As or anything similar. This is the first time I've ever had to look at something existing in the SSIS World.
I just don't know how to get it out and reference and view it is all.
Any help is greatly appreciated and Thanks in advance for your review.

    Hi ITBobbyP,
Based on your description, you want to export a .dtsx package file from Integration Services Catalogs, then open it in SQL Server Data Tools.
Based on my test, we can create a project based on a project in Integration Services Catalogs, then we can look into the package in the project. For more details, please refer to the following steps:
Open SQL Server Data Tools, Click File, point to New, and click Project.
Expand Business Intelligence, and click Integration Services.
Select Integration Services Import Wizard in the middle pane, type a name for the solution, project, and specify the folder for the project, and then click OK.
In the Select Source page, select Integration Services Catalog option, specify the name of database server instance on which the catalog exists, and the path to the project in the catalog.
Click Next on the Select Source page to see the Review page.
Click Import to create a new Integration Services project based on the one you selected.
Double-click the desired package name to open the package in the project.
If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.
    Thanks,
