Remove transaction codes from multiple roles at a time

Hello,
how to remove transaction codes from multiple roles at at time?
Thank you in Advance.

Hi Vanita,
         Why do you want to remove a t-code from all the roles. Are you no longer going to use the t-code. If this is the case then you can lock the transaction code in T-code SM01 so that no one can use it. But this would effect other users as well, it should only be locked if no one should use the particular T-code.
Another alternative is to write a program to remove the particular T-Code from the table AGR_TCODES where the relation ship between the role and t-code is stored.
Thanks.

  • Delete transaction codes from a role

    Hi,
    I want to delete 20 percent of the transaction codes from a role and I have to carry out this exercise for 20 to 30 roles, please let me know how to go about it.
    I know that I can go to the each role and delete each transaction by transaction but this process appears to be very tedious and time consuming, kindly let me know if there is any other alternative for this.
    Please help.
    Thanks
    Suresh

    Hello Suresh,
    First create single column internal table, for example ROLES which will hold all the ROLES for which you want to delete transaction codes. Read all the required ROLES into ROLES table.
    Now, You can create internal table, for example ITAB1 for ROLES and TRANSACTION CODES and read required roles and transactikon code from AGR_TCODES table.
    Now loop at ROLES.
      Move all the records from ITAB1 to ITAB2 where AGR_NAME = ROLES. --> as ROLES is single column table.
         DESCRIBE TABLE ITAB2 LINES <count>.
        Now find 20 % of the total <count>.
        Now use delete table with from 1 to <result after %age>
    ..... Go for next ROLE.
    endloop.
    For example:
    If total transaction cod efor particular ROLE are 10 then
    20% of 10 will be 2 transaciton codes.
    so you can delete table <table> name from 1 to 2.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Augustin.

  • PFCG issue - removing transaction codes from menu and not clearing up the authorization tab

    I’m using SAP ERP version ECC6 and EHP5 and also we have updated our system with the PSCD FI module.
    I’m having the following issue in PFCG transaction code - I have created a new single role by copied other or from scratch and added few  transaction codes into the menu.  After that, I went in the authorization tab using the "Change Authorization Data" and I felled all the missing information until the role was green out.  I generated the role then I totally went out.  I come back to the same role that I created earlier and I did removed all the transaction codes from the menu and I did find the following:
    - the Authorization tab light didn't change from green to red
    - I went into the Authorization tab by "Change Authorization Data" and a part of the objects were still in.
    Normally behave should be:
    - when we remove one transaction code from the menu the light from Authorization tab should change from green to red.  When you empty the menu then the light color should change also, but the authorization tab should be also empty.
    Could please give me some idea how to do it next?

    Hi Gabriela,
    Most of the times standard roles contains manually added authorization objects. When ever you are creating a new role by copying the existing standard role so by default, these objects will come in to new role.
    Now, coming to your role. After removing t code from role if nothing has changed in Authorization tab means.
    Here are the possible reasons.
    1.  The t code which you have removed might not have any checked and maintained authorization objects, that's why your Authorization tab still in unchanged.
    2. Rememeber, when ever you are adding or removing t code from menu always use expert mode for profile generation option along with "Read old status and merge with new data" Option.
    This will bring the all checked and maintained data for each t code.
    3. After removing the t codes from menu and if you generate the Authorization tab by using expert mode option still if you find authorization objects means, those are manually added authorization objects that's why those were not removed.
    I hope this will give some clue to your issue.
    Thanks,
    Siva

  • How can I remove people tags from MULTIPLE images in Organizer 13?

    How can I remove people tags from MULTIPLE images in Organizer 13?  The strategy for removing keyword tags does not work. It appears that keyword tags and People tags are considered something completely different in 13.  I highlight multiple images, right click, and under keyword tags it says there are no keyword tags. There does not appear to be an option for people or other tags. Can anyone help? It is going to take literally hundreds of hours for me to do this one photo one tag at a time.  ??

    Hi, my linked images all have dashed lines at the bottom of the images. I searched for an answer and someone said to add:

    to the end of my CSS,
    That CSS is complete nonsense. The correct way to remove borders from around links is here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/417110.
    If you want to get rid of dotted lines, they are almost certainly caused by the outline property. However, outlines around links are there for a reason: it provides a visual "you are here" clue to people who navigate the web with the keyboard, either through preference or because of disability. You shouldn't remove the dotted outline without providing a different visual clue.

  • How to find T-codes from which roles

    Hi
    Can any body tell me how can I find from which all role a user getting access to a Transaction code.
    For example : I want to remove a access of a particular Transaction for User XYZ. For this I want to find out from which all roles assigned to him , he is getting access to that Transaction
    Thanks in advance

    Hi there,
    this is how I would do it.  Forget the lookups etc, though maybe this would be useful for later analysis.  Instead, run a report with complex selection criteria
    SUIM->Roles-> Roles by complex selection criteria
    (transaction S_BCE_68001425)
    Enter in role name
    Enter in User ID (in selection according to user assignments)
    Enter in transaction code, if the transaction is in the role menus
    OR
    Enter in S_TCODE under selection according to authorization values, then click 'entry values' then enter the transaction under transaction code.
    Execute and voila.
    Hope this gives you want you need.
    Cheers,
    Di

  • How to remove "Blue filter" from multiple images in the History Panel

    I am using Lightroom 4.3 on Windows 7 pc.  I have a collection with approximately 650 images.  I was working in the collection and had all the images selected.  Somehow I inadvertently must have hit a keyboard shortcut that effected all the images.  All of the images are negatively effected and they now look terrible.  When I go to the History Panel, all the images have "blue filter" as their most recent entry.  If I select one image and go back to the step before the "blue filter" everything looks fine  again.  My problem is I have this effect in 650 images.  When I try and do the change in one image and then synch to the rest, I don't know what box to check to remove this "blue filter" that has been added to all the images.  I know I can do them one by one, but with 650 images, it's a long and tedious process.  Any way I can remove the "blue filter" from multiple images in a collection?
    Thanks,
    Matthew Kraus

    If you’ve just done it, then an Undo operation would reverse things on all the images, I think.  But if it took you a while to see the problem, then you might have done something to cancel the undoability.
    Isn’t Blue Filter a built in LR preset that modifies the HSL settings:  http://kb2.adobe.com/community/publishing/924/cpsid_92473.html
    Open the HSL panel and step back into History on one of the affected images so the effect of the Blue Filter preset has been undone and notice what HSL sliders change, and then if the 650 images DON’T already have any HSL adjustments you should be able to sync JUST the pre-Blue-Filter HSL adjustments (perhaps all zeros) to the other 650 images.

  • Remove a row from multiple tables

    Hello,
    I have a form that has what appears to be one table.  Since I needed 30 columns (29 of them are single character fields) I had to use 2 table objects.  Then I needed the ability to add and remove rows.  Adding a row at the end is easy enough.  Deleting a specific row is the problem.  At the moment, I added a third table which has a header row and a item body row.  the body row is a button with the intention of removing that entire row from the large table.  This means it needs to remove the row from all 3 tables.
    My structure is:
    form1
    (Some other flowed subform that doesn't matter for us)
    SubformPersonnel (a flowed subform)
    SubformHeader (a positioned subform)
    TextOverallHeader (text to label the oeverall 3 tables)
    ButtonAddRow (adds a row to the end of all 3 tables)
    SubformPersonnelTable (a positioned subform)
    ContractorTableRemove (a table with 1 column for the Remove button)
    HeaderRow (A hidden row to align the table with the other 2)
    Item (A row with the Remove button)CellRemoveButton (the cell with the remove button and associated JavaScript)
    ContractorTableLeft (a table with the left 15 printed columns)
    HeaderRow
    Contractor (A row of data to be removed when CellButton above is clicked)
    ContractorTableRight (a table with the right 15 printed columns)
    HeaderRow
    Contractor (A row of data to be removed when CellButton above is clicked)
    (Some other flowed subforms that I am not worried about at the moment)
    The 3 tables are aligned so the headers all line up, with no spaces between them.  The body rows then line up and this looks like one large table.  From left to right, they are:
    ContractorTableRemove, ContractorTableLeft, ContractorTableRight
    So Item and Contractor rows are added when ButtonAddRow is clicked in the overall header.  The intial count is set to 8 for each table, so I get 8 rows at startup. The minimum count is set to 1 for each.  I know that each row of each table has the same index number because I filled those into a cell in each table durig the cell's initialize.  This line, in the CellRemoveButton's click event deletes that cell's row in that table:
    this.parent.parent._Item.removeInstance(this.parent.index);
    I have tried all sorts of ways to delete the same row (using same index #) in the other 2 tables: ContractorTableLeft and ContractorTableRight, but don't seem to be getting the correct syntax correct.  I have tried hard coding the references, using .parent as shown below, and also tried using an index of 1 just to try deleting a row with no results.
         this.parent.parent.parent.ContractorTableLeft._Contractor.removeInstance(this.parent.inde x);
    Can someone get me the correct syntax here?
    I have seen examples of putting a hidden delete button on each table and clicking that, but I am concerned that it will get in the way of the tables on either side of the table it is in.  I reeally want to just reference the row and remove it so I can avoid any problems these additional delete problems may cause.
    I have copied the form to https://acrobat.com/#d=7M8R50rEHf4AaVXppwyKLw

    Thank you, Niall.  Much appreciated!
    The Delete button was more to make sure one could delete these outside a button in the actual row and I see I had the index wrong such that I was deleting the second row and not the first.  I had toyed with using this as a hidden button if I could pass the index to the event's function.
    I had not thought of adding the reference to each row as a variable.  It seems to work very well.
    For future reference to others, here is the code from the cellRemoveButton click event:
         // Declare some variables
         var i = this.parent.index;
         var oContractorLeft = ContractorTableLeft.Contractor;
         var oContractorRight = ContractorTableRight.Contractor;
         // Remove this row by accessing its index within the set of 'Item' row instances of the parent table
         _Item.removeInstance(i);
          // Since this table is actually 3 tables, we need to remove the other two table's instances as well.
         // Their index should be the same, so we just need to get their names correct.
         oContractorLeft.instanceManager.removeInstance(i);
         oContractorRight.instanceManager.removeInstance(i);
          // removing the row doesn't trigger calculations in tables in the form's current target (fixed in later versions of Acrobat)
         // force calculations to fire so the ItemIndex field's value is updated according to the remaining row's indexes
         // see http://forms.stefcameron.com/2006/05/20/add-recalculate/
         xfa.form.recalculate(1);
    Again, thank you!

  • Removing pw-protection from multiple documents using v. 11.0.4

    I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I'm at my wit's end after wasting an hour and a half with an Adobe chat person who couldn't figure this out.
    In previous versions of Acrobat, one was able to add pw-protection to multiple documents at once using the batch process, and conversely, one was able to REMOVE that pw-protection using a similar batch process. I now have about 150 documents that all have the same password, which I must remove because of the need for edits. In v. 11.0.4, however, this capability seems to have disappeared. The chat support person said the only way to do it was to create an Action, but then be willing to re-enter the pw for each and every file! 150 times! Surely we haven't gone backwards in this version?! Say it ain't so!
    If anyone knows how to do this, I would be very grateful. It seems a shame that I would have to revert to an older version to get this job done (with the hassle of uninstalling/installing to boot).
    Thanks,
    Gail

    Hi Dave,
    OK I’ve downloaded your  file and installed. The option Remove Security appears under the Encrypt action only if I have a file open and it will indeed remove the pw from that file and allow me to save back to the same file name. However I don’t see an option to add multiple files to the action, and if no file is open, the action is dimmed out. This is my last hurdle to getting this job done; can you point me in the right direction?
    Gail

  • Is it possible to remove a keyword from multiple images?

    There has to be some way to delete a keyword from multiple images, yet I can't figure it out. I know you can replace keywords via lift and stamp, but sometimes I may need to remove a keyword while leaving other different keywords in other images. If this cannot currently be done it needs to be fixed.

    1. select the images you want to remove a keyword from
    2. in the keyword field at the bottom type in the keyword you want to remove
    3. hold down shift, and hit enter
    Instead of assigning the keyword to the selected images, the keyword will be removed.

  • Can't add or remove a keyword from MULTIPLE images

    Hi:
    I've tried the trick of using SHIFT-RETURN (instead of RETURN) to REMOVE a keyword instead of adding it, after you type in the keyword in the Add Keyword box of the Keyword Controls window.
    However that only removes the keyword from the current active image:
    even if I have multiple images selected, only the current "active" image gets updated.
    (Using aperture 2.1.1 on mac os x 10.5.4.)
    Any pointers on what the problem might be?
    (UPDATE: same problem exists in reverse: trying to ADD keyword to multiple images using one of the keyword buttons, but only currently active image is updated, the other images in my selection are NOT updated with the new keyword.)

    Now that I discovered the problem also exists trying to ADD keywords, I was able to search for and find the answer in these fora:

    just had to select "Edit->Primary Only" so that the check mark went away from "Primary Only"!

  • Trigger Transaction code from BW to ECC

    I am looking for a procedure for automation where in i need to trigger a transaction code in ECC as soon as the process chain starts in BW. so this is from BW to ECC
    The results of the Tcode in ECC needs to be store so that later they can be validated with the BW report once the process chain is complete

  • Remove html code from file

    I'm trying to figure out how to remove all the html code from a file.
    I've got an AppleScript but it doesn't remove all the code
    <code>
    on run {}
    copy (choose file with prompt "Remove markup from which file:") to the_file
    promptuser(thefile)
    end run
    on open (the_file)
    if length of the_file > 1 then
    display dialog "Please drop only one file on me at a time."
    else
    promptuser(thefile)
    end if
    end open
    on promptuser(afile)
    copy (read a_file) to message_text
    copy (open for access file ((path to desktop as text) & "Markup Removed") with write permission) to newfileID
    write removemarkup(messagetext) starting at eof to newfileID
    close access newfileID
    end prompt_user
    on removemarkup(thistext)
    set copy_flag to true
    set the clean_text to ""
    repeat with this_char in this_text
    set this_char to the contents of this_char
    if this_char is "<" then
    set the copy_flag to true
    else if the copy_flag is true then
    set the clean_text to the clean_text & this_char as string
    end if
    end repeat
    return the clean_text
    end remove_markup
    </code>

    The source code is from a Yahoo Movie listing (http://uk.movies.yahoo.com/)
    Most of the code is removed but there's still bits left over from Javascripts & images, I think.

    try the Security forum at Security
    they might have trick (such as CATT scripts).
    doing this via SQL commands is dangerous. avoid this solution if you are not 100% sure of its impact.
