Remove unnecessary SD orders in SCM system

Hello,
To remove unnecessary Sales Orders regularly in SCM system I found out a program "/SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL ". But I am unable to figure out the parameters to be used once I execute this program. Can someone please let me know, if there is a document which explains the fields in the tab of the program /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL :
1. Delete on database
2. Delete in SAP livecache and in Database
3. Delete All DB Sales order data
Suggestions are much appreciated.
Thanks

HI,
This is the Program Documentation available in system
Short text
ATP: Delete (SD) Orders From Database
Purpose
You use this report to delete the SD sales document data from the database. Normally, the order data remains in the database (it is not deleted as in liveCache).
In order to limit the data volume, you should schedule the report to delete the orders, if necessary, and it should be dependent on the lifetime of your orders.
Example
For example, a sales order is completed in six weeks. Such a sales order would be archived in SAP R/3 but such an archiving concept does not exist in SAP APO. You use this report to remove the sales order from the database.
Integration
A location product or a location can only be deleted if SD sales documents for this location product no longer exist in the database (that is, if, for example, no more entries exist in the tables /SAPAPO/ORDADM_I or /SAPAPO/ORDPART).
Features
A check is normally carried out before an order is deleted to see if this order still exists in liveCache. If this is the case, the order is not deleted.
You can also print out a list of the orders that cannot be deleted if you have set the relevant indicator.
In exceptional cases, you can deactivate this check and nevertheless still delete the selected orders.
If you have set the Delete all orders indicator, the order data from the database is completely deleted without any check. You should take great care when using this function.
Note
If you have deleted orders that are still being used for business purposes, you must start a new initial data supply or, if you know the orders, you must perform a further ATP check to transfer the data from SAP R/3 to SAP APO.

  • Cannot receive Purchase Order in SCM/SNC system

    Dear all,
I'm implementing Purchase Order Collaboration scenario of SNC Collaboration within the following system landscape:
    ECC 6.0 <-> PI 7.1 <-> SCM 7.0
What I need to do is to create Purchase Order in ECC and then receive it in SCM. The flow looks like:
    1. Create PO in ECC using me22n,
    2. Send it as IDoc (PORDCR1.PORDCR102) to PI
    3. Transform this IDoc into "ReplenishmentOrderNotification" XML Message in PI
    4. Send the "ReplenishmentOrderNotification" XML to SCM
    5. Finally receive/access PO in SCM
Can you please specify the configuration to be made in PI to send this XML message to SCM (step 4)? I tried
Communication Channels of type RFC and XI cinfigured as Receiver for SCM system but it didn't work out. So
I cannot send the "ReplenishmentOrderNotification" XML Message from PI and then receive it in SCM.
Thank you in advance for your kind suggestions.
    Best regards,
    Igor Keshishian

    Dear Nihil,
That's exactly the document that I used to build the scenario. And I found it in your another reply on this forum.
So the page 36 is the beginning of the configuration section for PI system that is done by me, no problems to
configure PI's Repository objects. The real problem happens, as I've already explained, on runtime.
Receiver Communication Channels to send XML files to SCM system are configured as XI adapter type with
RFC destination of connection type H. This RFC destination is created in PI system and is pointing to SCM system.
It has "/sap/xi/engine?type=entry" path prefix, so when I do its Connection test I got response code 500 "Empty
HTTP request received". Still messages sent from ECC to SCM via PI are blocked in PI.
What do you think I can check in configurations of PI and SCM systems?
    Thank you in advance.
    Regards,
    Igor

  • Global ATP in multiple SCM Systems

    Hi Experts
Has anybody seen a situation where a single ECC system does a GATP check in two different SCM systems.  I understand that it is not uncommon to have one ECC system integrated with two or more SCM systems for different modules (one for DP, one for SNC, one for GATP, etc).
But we have a situation where we are replacing an existing GATP implementation with a new one (in a different SCM server). Business would like to do a pilot of the new implementation functionality from a risk perspective (scope limited to one plant in distribution network). During the short interim of the pilot, we could have a situation where one sales order could do a GATP in the 'old' server and another order does GATP in the 'new' server. At any time a single order is sourced from one plant, so at the minimum an entire order is availability checked in either of the two systems.
I believe that using the CIF ATP integration model, we can control which logical system the GATP check is done in. We will test this in a sandbox environment, but would like to know your thoughts. Appreciate any concerns/ watch-outs.
    Rishi Menon

    Hello Rishi,
It is quite possible to connect more than one SCM system to ECC technically. Business case will be little specific to customer requirements i.e having existing SCM systems for different business units.
GATP check can be carried out in different SCM system as you rightly mentioned based on CIF integration model. It doesn't create any issue. We have similar system set-up for internal use.
Only issue what I see here is, in case of RBATP, if you are using cross location ATP check, if will not give you desired results. Second issue will be for planned supply components, if material is planned in separate SCM system.
Such system set-up works fine when you are having isolated materials and location to plan and GATP.

    Hi All
Please give your inputs to solve following problem I am facing. I am working on XI first time so please help me out to solve the following problem. Please let me know if you need any more info.
Thanks a lot for your help guys.
I am sending ORDERS.ORDER05 from R/3(ECC6.0) to SCM (5.0) through XI. I am using standard message interface ReplenishmentOrderNotification_In to send data to ICH configured on SAP SCM System.
I am using XI adapter at receiver end. My message successfully going to SCM. SXMB_MONI, its giving error. After clicking on error flag it displays a table with 3 entries, please find them below.

    Dear,
are You using F110 automatic payment? What do You inserted into the field Next payment date into the parameter tab?
    the help on line says:
Posting Date of the next Payment Run
    Use
This date is needed in order to check the due date of payables. If an item is already overdue on the date of the next payment run, or would lose cash discount, the system pays the item in this payment run.
The general rule for receivables is that they cannot be paid until the baseline date for payment has been reached. Such items are paid on or after the baseline date for payment, regardless of when the next payment run is scheduled for.
    I hope this helps.

  • Two SCM Systems connected to one ERP System

    Hello Experts,
Here again I got a doubt.
Is it technically possible to connect two SCM Systems via CIF to one ERP System?
Because I heard that we could connect more than one ERP System to one SCM System, but not vice versa.
If you have seen a system in production like this, what are the pros and cons of having such a scenario?
    Expecting your valuable replies!
    Thanks and Best Regards,
    Suresh

    Hi,
technically it's no problem to connect two or more SCM systems to the same ERP system. We have one for DP/ PP/DS, one for EWM and one for SNC connected to the same R/3 systems. You however might get problems with the bom explosion for planned orders being sent from SCM to R/3.
The bom explosion uses field MARC-APOKZ which is maintained automatically by CIF. If there are multiple SCM system using CIF for product master data the field might not be set up correctly and the bom explosion could be wrong.
As a solution SAP provided OSS note 1576703.
    Regards.

  • Stop CIF queues always during online Backup on SCM system

    Hello,
On Upgrade Guide "SAP SCM 5.1 ABAP UNIX Oracle Version 1.00" under
chapter 3.4 --> Backup before prepare JAVA we found this :
"Before performing a database backup, you have to stop the CIF queues in your
SAP SCM system in order to ensure a consistent recovery state."
Is this relevant for every online backups (also outside from Upgrading)?
Should we stop the CIF queues on daily online backups too? Or is this a special-feature during Upgrade?
    BR
    Ray Purucker

    Hello,
Do you have above said log file available ?
Instead of the option 'Overflow log path', did you try rollforward with the option of timestamp (point in time) (till the time you have the log files) Or with the option overflow log path but with 'NORETRIEVE' as well ?
For the query status command, Last committed transaction time stamp is not what you thought.
    Please revise the command options,
    http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/db2luw/v8/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.db2.udb.doc/core/r0001978.htm
'It is looking for log file S0000XXX.LOG whose time stamp is older than the time stamp of online backup.'
If you want to restore only until the online backup, then use the option End of Backup and stop - to rollforward until the last log when backup was in progress
    Thanks

  • Migrate all Open Sales Orders From Legacy System (SAP) To SAP System using

    Hi Experts,
I've to Migrate all Open Sales Orders From Legacy System (SAP) To SAP System using Business Objects with a new SALES ORDER DOCUMENT NUMBER referencing the older one.
I'll get all the required data with field in an excel file.
Does any standard transaction exist for it ? Or how to go ahead with it ?
    Thanks and regards,
    Jyoti Shankar

    Hi
If you are checking for CREATE option then Sales Doc Type
For more Info goto SWO1 transaction -> BUS2032 --> DIsplay --> Execute --> There SELECT the method which you want to perform... There you can fine the MANDATORY parameters also....
Or in DISPLAY mode PLACE Cursor on the Required Method and CLick the PARAMETERS button on toolbar...
That will show the MANDATORY parameters...

    hi jyothi ,
there are lot of ways of doing it depending on data upload volume it will be decided .
    1) thru abap bdc program which directly uses XL sheet data and creates SO using bapi/FMs.
    2) using scat.functional consultant should be good enough to use this.
    3)lsmw-laborious procedure but achievable.

  • Send Existing Sales Orders to another system

    hi experts!!
I have a requirement to move all existing sales orders from one system to another.
Please provide some hints on usage of IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS
    1. we have to file NAST mandatory fields only or what else we need to code for complete generation of IDoc?
    Nikhil

Ok, sorry, I am not aware of BADIs or IDOCS. Normally in situations like this I just make downloads, straight from the tables or via a query.
    Good luck

  • Open Internal Orders from legacy system

    Hi,
Is there a way to bring over open projects (Internal Orders) from legacy system into SAP?, especially the way to bring over legacy cost information collected on such projects.
    Would appreciate any help,

    Hi
As such you cannot do this. You download your Legacy system data to an excel sheet and then upload the PO details into SAP using  an LSMW etc.

  • Create IDOC Type ORDERS in BackEnd System

    Hello together,
we use " extended classic scenario" in our  SRM 4.0 and replicate PO's in the ECC 6.0 ERP Backend System. We would like create during the replicat a Message Type (IDOC) ORDERS in Backen System. I háve customized (NACE / MN05) but it is not poosible to generate a IDOC. I have read it is necessary to activate a USER-EXIT for BBP PO's.
    My question:
Which USER-EXIT and how must i create this!

  • Remove unnecessary field in Web UI - not applied

    Hello, dear Experts!
I'm trying to remove unnecessary fields from contact view page in Web UI.
    I performed the following steps:
    1. created new config role key ZTMP
    2. created new business role and binded it with my config role key
    3. bound business role in organizational structure
    4. copied <default> configuration in BSP Workbench for my new ZTMP role key (BP_CONT/ContactDetails view)
    5. removed unnecessary fields in my copied configuration and saved all
But after this steps no changes affected in Web UI - fields not removed, it's looks like default config. Same result for BP_HEAD/AccountDetails.
Technical data for contact page (when i press F2 in contact page):
Role Key (Searched For) - ZTMP
    Role Key (Found) - ZTMP
    Comp.Usage (Searched For) - Overview
    Component Usage (Found) - <DEFAULT>
Object Type (Searched For)  - <DEFAULT>
    Object Type (Found) - <DEFAULT>
Maybe some "checkbox" blocks my config?

    hi,
    Procedure to change config is
    1) Create role config key.
    2) Assign it to your bussiness role.
    3) Open found config.
    4) Copy config and give your role config key. Do requried changes. Save it.
    5) Write required code in do_config_determination if your config is not called.
Procedure that you are telling is correct and configuration found is ztmp, def, def. What is subobj type found? if it is default, again see configuration and compare with fields that you are getting on screen. May be you forgot to save because you have covered all the steps.
    Best regards
