I want to get technical information of screen fields by using any FM.
Actually, I know the screen field name and I need which DATA ELEMENT IS ASSIGNED
to the screen field.

Hi Kim,
I hope you may use the standard function module RS_IMPORT_DYNPRO .
This function module takes input as program name, screen no and gives the complete information abot that screen.
The tables parameter FTAB holds the information regarding all controls in the screen.
FTAB parameters :
FNAM : control name
FILL : control type incase of push button it would be P
STXT : Label or text of the control
RES1 : Function code ,
You can check all other parameter , and debug that function module to know more .

Anyway, I'd keep the story creation responder to recognize the copy, then combine it with an observer on the backing xml story to catch the associated XML element which is created there. Something like below:

Yes you can extract any metadata without opening a file.
There is a script that will let you select any of the fields and put the output to a csv file, this is known as the barredrock script and can be downloaded..

The same is happening for me. Today I decided to reboot my PC because it was acting up a bit, go figure, and then for some reason at the same time the PC was restarting my macbook froze. I had to do a reboot with the restart button but then all that came up was a gray background and in the middle of the screen was a darker gray folder with a white question mark in the middle of it, blinking. I can't imagine why the restart would've affected my macbook. After finding information on how to fix this, I tried all of the steps that were given about using the mac OS X disk to use the first aid utility to fix it. When using the Disk Utility option whenever I select my hardrive and am in the First Aid tab, the only button I can use is the Verify Disk Permissions. The other three buttons, and namely the most important Repair Disk button, is/are not selectable (grayed out). I then tried resetting the PRAM the way they also said with the command + option + P + R and waited for the second startup sound. After that I gave the Disk Utility a second try, but still nothing. And now if I try to just reinstall the OS completely I can't even select a destination volume on the third step (Select Destination). Apparently this means i'm SOL.

How can I get reliable information on when faults ...

How can I get reliable, helpful information on when the faults with my phone line and broad band will be fixed?
My provider (talktalk) upgraded us to fibre on 17/11/13 but we only got 2MB (instead of 36MB). Openreach were put onto it and things got progressively worse. As from 17/12/13 we have had NO land line and NO broadband. I have spent hours chasing talktalk on the phone (they promise to give me updates in 48hrs but never do) but am getting nowhere. I am gven inaccurate conflicting infirmation on each call to talktalk. I am told that openreach have dug a hole but there is no evidence of this between our house and the fibre cabinet in the village. I am told thay are out again digging a hole but this appears to be completely ficticious. I am continually promised an update in 48 hrs but nothing changes.
It is not clear why we have lost ALL connection. There are several lines in the cable coming to our property but it seems that they have cut us off ompletely. This is VERY inconvenient and VERY frustrating. We have to rely on poor mobile phone signals for emergency calls. I am about the cancel the direct debit to talktalk in absence of any reliable information or prospects of the faults being fixed.
I want to communicate directly with wheover is working on this to get accurate, reliable information on what the problem is and when (or if) it is likely to be fixed.

Thank you for this information. I had thought that this forum covered any issues that related to BT or one of their companies, ie Openreach. Indeed, the reson for trying this forum was that I am getting nowhere with Talktalk and there is no other way for me to deal with Openreach. A total catch 22 situation!
If anyone has any otjher suggestions beside keep on banging away at Talktalk, please let me know. Ihave used up my mobile allowance calling them. They just blame Openreach (although also giving conflicting information/reassurances on the status of the fault/repair) so I am stuck in a never ending loop.
I fear that the solution to the problem may be the replacement of a 1000m of cable leading to my property and Openreach do not wish to do this. They even had the cheek a couple of week ago to send a text saying the fault had been fixed even though we were quite clearly still without any landline or internet connection!
All I can do is stop paying but I am simply left with no service.

How can I get RTE information in operator interface (LV) from TS API?

I have operator interface in Labview and use TS API to run tests.
I would like to eliminate RTE dialog and to show error messages directly in front panel control.
I have created callback for TS Application Manager BreakOnRTE event.
It works good and I can lock dialog apearance.
But if I try to get ErrorObject from event parameter (execution) is is empty (has no error information).
But this parameter is real execution which contains step with RTE.
When I allow the dialog appearance in this callback, it contains RTE information.
Where can I get error information from this callback or get it any another way?

I have found the way to get RTE from callback BreakOnRunTimeError of ApplicationMgr.
This way is:
Execution->GetThread[0]->GetSequenceContext[0]->GetRuntimeErrorMessageEx().
It was not clear for me: all Error fields in step and Sequence are not filled yet on callback time.
Only the context method can return error message.

How can I get the information on the Users history in Enterprise 6.3.1

Need help on the following. Since I'm an HFM guy and havent touch Enterprise for a while, I need help on the following:
We want to have a report that indicates the Users history re: date and time users sign in and out of each Hyperion 6.3.1 application.
Where can I get that information? Was thinking to look in <application>.use file but not able to see it properly using a text editor.

Enterprise does not have any logs that track login/logout information. You can potentially check the error log for the first activity a user executes for example:
data refresh or data load, which contain date and time of execution, but it will require some data filtering.

To access pseudo columns you can specify an alias or use the index on the column (e.g. getInt(1)).

How can I get past the white screen?

When I start my iMac I see a message that my start up disk is full and that I need to delete files. After I type in my user name and password, all I see if a white screen. This problem started today. The error message about the start up disk started two days ago, and when I looked at the disk, I saw that over half of it has files described as "other". The hard drive is 250 GB. I have Time Machine backups but I don't know how to get to them to help me. So, I guess that I have two questions: how do I get past the white screen, and what are the files that are catogoraized as other? Thanks.

I dont know whether I understood your question completely.Anyway,let the users be X and Y and be on diff machines,
Since X is logging in using a dialup network the ip is allotted dynamically and so, Y cannot know X's ip till he logs in and tell Y about it explicitly. Workaround is that either X's or Y's ip must be constant/static or there should be another way that X know about the ip of Y each time he logs in.
If X's ip is static, Y can poll certain port at X where u's alpplication is running and if conn. is succ, after some authentication, get the information u want. For writing u'r own services there should be u'r own components at both ends, one requesting connection and other accepting. Please get back to me if more doubts or if I have'nt understood u'r problem fully..

Thanks for your reply. I've read the L1 Dcache part of the OpenSPARC T1 Microarchitecture Specification, however, I still cannot figure out the meaning and function of some signals. I think I have to read other parts of the OpenSPARC T1 Microarchitecture Specification, in order to know more about the meaning of abbreviations in OpenSPARC codes.
As for my project, my main aim is to be clear about the OpenSparc L1 Dcache. Since members in our group are all newcomers to OpenSparc, our director hopes that we can get some practical technics by reading OpenSparc codes.
