Removing Project Dependacy

Hello,
I have one class A in package B which uses some framework eg. C which reads input parameters for that class through XML file.
The framework C belongs to package D.
Now I want to run class A by giving commandline parameters or by using this framework C but at the same time I dont want my class A will have dependency of package D.
How can I handle that by using Interfaces and abstract class or fully qualified class.
Can anyone help me???

How can I handle that by using Interfaces and abstract class or fully qualified class.Don't think any of those are relevant. A uses C, C belongs to D; ergo, A cannot be run in an environment that does not contain D. Now it might be in the form of a jar, but it'll have to be there somewhere.
But maybe I'm misunderstanding the question...

a) How do I open a closed project & removed from workspace. I tried double clicking on prj .xpdl file, import etc. Nothing helped. There is no project-open option. File-Open cannot open the XPDL file or .project file.

You can reopen a project that you removed from Studio's Project Navigator by clicking on the sixth icon from the left in the toolbar (it says "Open Project" when you hold your mouse over it).

Remove project from computer

Now that my Premier Elements 10 video project is completed and burned to a DVD, how do I remove all elements of the project from my computer?

Welcome to the forum.
The answer depends on how you set up the Project initially. I place everything into one root folder, which contains the PREL file, then sub-folders with Copies of my Source Footage, and my PrE Scratch Disks, including Render files, Media Cache, etc.. All that I have to do is Delete that Project's root folder, and everything goes away with it. If one has not used such a scheme, then they will need to navigate around the system, locating the various folders, with files inside, and Deleting them, one at a time. This ARTICLE goes into more detail on how I set up my PrE Projects.
Now, before you start Deleting files and folders, you need to ask yourself a few questions:
Will I ever need to re-edit this Project again?
Are the Assets used in this Project worth saving for later use?
If the answer is yes to # 1, then look into the Project Archiver, and when done, test that Project, to make sure that everything is needed to Open it later. I place my Archived Projects onto external HDD's, just in case.
If the answer is yes to # 2, then make sure to Copy any Assets to a safe place. I use a NAS for my Assets.

Project list shows removed projects in BI (P6 report)

Hi,
I developed a query in BI to show the list of the project under an specific EPS in P6, it works but it also shows the list of the projects which were exist there from 3 months ago but already removed from the EPS node. i.e I have only one project in P6 under that EPS node but in Bi report it shows previous updates from 3 months ago.
Appreciate if anyone can explain why this is happening and how can I refine it.

Check the publication services are turned on in P6 Web . Logic into P6 web as admin user , go to administrator and select services. Check the publication services is enabled and also enable the types of global data to be scheduled in Global Scheduled Services.

How to remove project customizations

I have a problem viewing a project file on a particular Project 2007 installation. The problem is the Grant chart is always overlapping the task schedules when the file is launched. However, I don't have this problem when the file is opened on another computer
or even in the same computer with other user logged on. I believed the problem is the customization the user made to the Project installation but I am not sure how to remove it so that the file can be viewed properly. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling
project on that computer and it didn't help. Any idea?

Hello,
You can reset Project 2007 to it's vanilla configuration with the following steps:
Log in as the affected user
Ensure the users folder options are set to "Show hidden files and folders"
Ensure MS Project is closed
Assuming your using Windows 7, navigate to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\MS Project\12\1033"
Rename the file "Global.mpt" as "Old Global.mpt"
Restart MS Project
RESULT: Project 2007 will now have reverted back to its vanilla state.
Largely the same for 2010, except there are some settings that are no longer contained within the global, such as the ribbon, and some of the project options settings.

Remove Project Folders

I have searched the knowledge base and forums with no luck. I
am probably just not using the proper search words!
I created a main RoboHelp project and as the product has
evolved, I have written the additional documentation in separate
Word docs and imported them into RoboHelp when the time came. Well
the development team has changed the majority of the interface and
now I need to change the documentation that has already been
imported into RoboHelp.
Instead of having to update each topic one at a time, I would
like to remove the folder(s) which contain this specific
documentation from my RoboHelp project. It is easier sometimes to
work in Word and re-import the complete section into RoboHelp than
having to open each topic separately and replace all the graphics.
How do I remove a complete folder(s) from a project? The
structure is as follows:
HTML Files (Topics)
CatalogRequest_files
Images
CatalogRequest_files
Multimedia
CatalogRequest_files
etc...........

Hi Gilley. You can't delete folders from a RH project in the
same way as you can in Windows Explorer. What you have to do is
delete the contents of the folder first and then delete the actual
folder. By folder contents I mean topics, images, baggage files,
multimedia files and style sheets. You'll see the folder structure
duplicated in each section of the Project tab. Only when everything
is empty can you right click on the folder and select the "Delete"
option.

Hi Sandeep, Go to PWA,server settings, delete enterprise objects. Then select the project combo box. You will see the list of all projects of your instance, with a column named "type". In this column you will find projects, sub projects, master
projects and templates. Just sort along this type column, look for the templates, select the template to remove and click on the "delete" button.

Removing Project From SCA Created from JDI for WebDynpro Project

Hi All,
I Have created SCA from JDI by Transporting all the activities to assembly, and the SCA has been created.
On the Track there are two DCs, which are not be required to be added into the SCA file, But activites for those DCs have already been transported and moved to assembly accidently, and SCA also has been created including those DCs.
There is no dependency for those DC on to any other Project/DCs on the same Track.
But We dont want to include those DC into my SCA.
Is there any way by which we can Remove them from either assembly or from my SCA.
We have also Deleted DCs from the Track, but still while Creating new SCA those DCs are also included in the same.
Please Reply, If you have any suggestion how do we remove them from SCA.

Our Problem has been solved.
We have deleted those DCs and then chkd in those activity, then assembled the SCA including those activities too.
So now New SCA does not contain those two DCs.

I am beginner in OWB. I use OWB 10g Relase 2. I login as repository user and then I create a new project in project explorer. But I do not know how to remove/delete the project, which I created. And I have all permission on this project.

I know it is possible to add a tab onto the project definition through the enhancement. I would like to remove any of the standard tabs, such as basic data, or admin. Is this possible?

A rebuild removed projects from photos and put empty projects in the trash.

I'm running Aperature 3.2.4 in OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) on a MacBook Pro 1,1
I have a large library of 37,000 images on an external hard drive. I have experienced a number of problems which culminated in a corrupted drive and library which I have taken several steps to repair. In an attempt to be thorough, I may be including more info than necessary, but here is my tale.
1) There have been inconsistencies for some time when deleting photos in the camera (compact flash card uploaded through camera) when importing photos. Occurring more frequently, the photos did not get deleted when I made that selection, most normally with the unmount camera box check. This is a big deal, I adapted by checking the camera when it was unmounted.
2) I hadn't been emptying the trash in Aperture and accumulated several hundred photos in the trash. Blame it on procrastination and no appearance of pressing necessity.
3) My camera has developed some problems with the USB port, perhaps getting worn with a lot of use. When importing photos, the camera has recently started disconnecting during the import of photos..
4) This has resulted in a corrupted drive directory, which I was able to repair with Disk Warrior. It also resulted in photos that were not in the Aperture library. Aperture was no longer able to see those unimproved photos, no matter what drive I was able to copy them to. I resolved the import problem by changing the file name slightly. I assume that Aperture registers filenames before importing, and if the import fails, Aperture is unable to see that the import failed. I have added those files by changing the file names, and my long term solution was to get a CF card reader.
5) I thought that my problems were solved, but when I opened Aperture today, I got a dialog box telling me that I need to repair permissions, then another about rebuilding the library, and a whole series of failed attempts to do so with a string of boxes suggesting that I quit, rebuild, or repair, all attempts eventually hanging. Disk Warrior tells me that several plists mostly involving changes could not be repaired. After several attempts and restarts, I was able to open the library in Aperture.
6) The left window was missing a large number of projects, but in photo view, all of the photos and versions were there with the meta data showing a path to the original projects. In the project view, all of the projects were there, but I could not open any by clicking on them. When I viewed the trash contents, there were a lot of empty projects. It was probably a mistake, but I emptied the trash.
7) I have not closed Aperture for fear that might result in changing those paths attached to photos. Hopefully they are the key to setting things straight.
Is there any way I can undue the trash dump, or otherwise return photos to the appropriate projects? I'm talking about nearly 400 projects, so this is not a minor glitch.

I quit Aperture, which hung up while writing preveiws, so I did a force quit. I restarted Aperture while holding down command and option keys, but Aperture opened directly into library with all projects and photos intact. Oddly enough the projects seem to be in a random order, certainly a different order.
I closed Aperture without a problem
I ran Disk Warrior again, and once again there are damaged property lists that cannot be repaired. There are 9 plists numbered from
File: "0000000002.plist"
thru
File: "0000000012.plist"
all in
Aperture Library.aplibrary/Database/History/Changes/
I opened Aperture again while holding down command and option keys, this time getting the dialog I wanted, and I'm now running Repair Library Database.
Well the dang thing seems to be hung at "Repairing Library 100% complete"
I'll give it a while, Force Quit and try again.
Any suggestions? Should I try a rebuild on the next try?

Failing to Delete/Remove Project Server Service Application, giving error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

I have installed Project Server 2013 on SharePoint 2013, and installed the first PWA which worked. But I needed to change some configurations and so I deleted the PWA instances, but now I cannot delete the Project Server Service Application. Every attempt
to delete the Service Application it gives the error above, namely:

"add and remove projects" problem in eclipse weblogic tool 1.1.3

Hello,
i installed eclipse weblogic tool 1.1.3. When i try to add a project to the server, it cannot even list my java projects. I found out that it only list those dynamic web projects.
My question is: is it possible to add java project to server. My java project includes src and webRoot, which is deployed in weblogic 10.
Also, when i set a breakpoint in jsp. I always have the source not found problem. Is there a way to get around this?

Java project cannot be deployed to the server standalone.
One way to do is to create a ear project and add the web project and java project to it. If you create the web project and java project after EAR project creation then you can add to ear when creating web and java projects.
But if you already have web and java projects, create a ear project and right click on ear project -> properties -> project reference -> check both projects. Also right click on ear project -> properties -> j2ee module dependencies -> check both projects.
Now build the ear project and you will see the java project part of ear and the web project can refer to the java project classes.

How to remove project warning

Hi all,
I'm using LabVIEW 8.6.1 project window here. How can I get rid of the warning shown in the image?
The file has been moved as indicated. Refresh does not work, nor save all, I can not delete the warning under the "Files" or "Items" tab. Any ideas?

The reason why you cannot delete it is because the item is part of the dependencies. It shows up because some code in your application refers to this file position, but the file (DLL!) is not found there.
So in order to resolve the conflict, you have to find the Call Library Function Node which does not refer to the updated location of the DLL. "Reroute" this CLFN to the new position/name of the DLL and the entry should disappear.
Note that this entry should not effect the functionality of the application since DLLs are searched in other paths if not found in the expected one....
