Replication of HR Bussines event groups/types to SRM

Hello,
in my HR system i have Bussiness events/group hierarchy - there are some training courses....and i need to show these courses in srm cataloge, how should i do it? do i have to write a custom program?
edit: i checked the note nb 312090 - there is written that only objects of type C, S, O, P can be transferred automatically...is it right??

Hi iri Juranek,
In standard SRM, R/3 world, once O,C,S and P are transfered to SRM. it can be seen in the SRM org. structure. If you want to replicate other than the above ( O,C,S and P), you can still replicate it by adjusting the filter. It will be stored in SRM tables for nothing (unless you write your own code to interpret the values whatever way you wand....like catalog as you mentioned )

An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_DYNAMIC_OSQL_SEMANTICS', was
not caught in
procedure "RH_BASE_READ_INFTY_NNNN" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a
RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:

Cause and prerequisites
The system wants to access table HRPnnnn particularly by means of an entry in the infotype check table T777D. This access can be processed in various places, including in the profile generator. Here, a termination occurs if the 'ent' table/structure in the dictionary is no longer available. This generally affcts customer-specific infotypes. These have been created and possibly deleted again. However, the entry in table T777D is not available. You can also import the entry into another system with a transport of the table. If the HRP table/structure is then missing, a termination may also occur in this case.
Solution
You must check on an individual basis which infotype the termination refers to. If it is a customer-specific infotype, the customer is responsible for removing the cause of the termination. If the table entry is a 'remnant', the entry can simply be deleted.
If the termination refers to an SAP structure, you should consult SAP before carrying out any further activities.

Business Event Group

Dear all
When i am going in S_AHR_61011889 to create a new business group i am able to create a business event group but it is not showing in PSV2 i.e. business event menu. Instead it is showing in S_AHR_61011887 - Master Data Catalog .
When i am creating a new Business event type and assigning the same to the above created Business event group then it disappears from S_AHR_61011887 - Master Data Catalog .
Ideally when a new business event group is created it should be shown in PSV2 i.e. business event menu but it is not showing.
Please help me out to solve this issue. Its urgent.

Dear mam
Creating a business event group is not a problem. T Code which you have given, business event group can be created but is is still being shown in Master Data Catalog and not in business event menu.
Creating a relationhip of event type & event group cvan be done but as soon as it is created it disappears from mastr data catalog.
In the past when ever i have created event group & event type it was shown in PSV2 i.e. business event menu.
Please guide me.

Event subscriptions and Event Group subscriptions

Hi,
I have a set of events with subscriptions to each one of them.
Assume I create a Event group with all the events as a member in it.
I also create a subscription for the event group while the individual event subscriptions are still existing.
Will the subscription for the group be executed first or the individual subscriptions are executed first ?

Hi, a few more additional observations.
My subscription(S1) to the event group launches a process (P1) defined in a workflow item type(BEVLIS).
My subscription(S2) to the individual event launches another process (P2) defined in the same workflow item type BEVLIS.
Now when i raised an event... oracle.apps.per.api.person.update_person with event key 1820 following happens..
1. S1 executed and the P1 got completed successfully. The item key observed in staus monitor is *1820*
2. But on execution of S2 I got the following error notified
Event Error Name: WFENG_EVENT_NOTFOUND
Event Error Message: 3142: Process 'BEVLIS/1820' has no activities waiting to receive event 'oracle.apps.per.api.person.update_person'.
Event Error Stack:
Wf_Engine.Event(BEVLIS, 1820, NOTIFY_QUERY_RESULT2, oracle.apps.per.api.person.update_person)
So prior to execution of S2, a workflow item type BEVLIS with item type 1820 was already available and marked as completed.
And hence the S2 execution looks for a waiting activity in a process which is already competed and hence fails.
An immediate soln will be to create another item type and copy the process P2 to it. and use it for S2.
But is this the behavior expected in subscription processing?

I tried copying a photo and pasting it in another event/group within iPhoto but the paste feature doesn't work. This wasn't an issue with both Leopard and Snow Leopard. Do you have any solutions or tips?

I bought a new MacBook Pro with OsX Lion as operating system. I use iPhoto a lot and when I tried copying a photo then pasting it to another event/group, the 'paste' feature doesn't work. This wasn't the case with Leopard and Snow Leopard where the 'paste' feature worked. What I did was to paste the photo first to the desktop before transferring it to the new event/group. I brought my Mac to the Apple store where I bought it and the technicians were themselves surprised that the 'paste' feature didn't work. Chalked it up to glitches in the Lion os. So how do we fix this? I just find it absurd that a feature that used to work in Snow Leopard has been disabled in Lion, and the user still has to undergo an additional step to make it work, when new technology is supposed to make things easier for users.
Also, hasn't anyone noticed that it takes longer for the computer to boot upon opening?

Instead of copy and paste drag the photo to the new event. Or flag it and use the add flagged photos to selected event command

Type group
If you want to define global constants, you have to use a type group. The name of
the type group can only contain a maximum of five characters. In the type group,
you can define constants using the CONSTANTS statement. As types, you are
provided with the integrated ABAP types or the global types of the Dictionary.
In order to be able to use the types of a type group in a program, make the type
group known using the TYPE POOL statement. From these lines on, you can use
all constants of the type group.
The definition of a type group is a piece of ABAP code that is either maintained
via the Dictionary (SE11) or via the ABAP Editor (SE38).
Realization:
The first statement for the type group zmytp is always:
TYPE-POOL zmytp.This is followed by the definition of data types with the statement TYPES, as
described under local program data types. Furthermore, cross-program constants
can be declared using the CONSTANTS statement. All names of this data type
and constants must begin with the name of the type group and an underline:
zmytp_
In an ABAP program, type groups must be made known with the following
statements before they are used:
TYPE-POOLS zmytp.
When using this statement, all data types ansd constants, which are defined in the
zmytp type group can be used in the program. Several type groups can be used
in a program.

Business event group in transaction PSV2

Hi
I have created a business event group under current plan version using Transaction OOEG.
But I am unable to make it displayed in transaction code PSV2.
If i create some other group under an already existing one, it is getting displayed.
But if I create in the first level, the problem occurs.
Can somebody help to resolve this....

Thanks for the response.
current plan version date ranges from 01.10.2010 to 31.12.9999
The date for the created Business group is 01.01.2011.
Since it was well within the plan date, I didn't changed the settings in "change settings".
Later I tried with date range from 01.01.1900 to 31.12.9999.
Now it's getting displayed !.

"Subject Area" in Info Business Event Group

What is the application "Training Center" in ESS? Why shoul I check/uncheck "Subject Area" check box so that a Business Event Group displays/not displays in the Training Center?

Hi Niveditha
   The way you view the training courses in you portal can be simulated in your R/3 system using
   transactions PV7I & PV8I. If you want to refine your searches with one particular course group, then
   the subject area is useful. When you check this option for a course group, you will be able to search
courses under this particular course group only from the portal.

Zone Group Types in RPM 13.2.4

Hi All,
I have a question related to the zone group types that are available in RPM 13.2.4.
Types are:
1) Regular (Used for assigning Primary zone group as merch hier level)
2) Clearance
3) Promotional
I know that a zone group can have all 3 types and if a zone group has promotional as one of its attributes then you cannot attach a warehouse to it.
Now my question is whats the significance of these zone group types. Are they just a logical grouping of zones or there is a system level restriction that is a zone is regular or clearance then you cannot create promotion on the zone group?

Got the answer. Its a new enhancement in 13.2.4. Only the parent items gets pulled by new item loc batch.

How the system will does the job:
The system carries out this function automatically, each time a JIT call is received. In this way it assigns each call component transmitted to a components group type. The components group type then takes on the internal control of the call components.
With sequenced JIT calls for assemblies, the system assigns several call components to the same components group type. With the other call types the call components and the components group type form a logical unit and the system therefore assigns a different components group type to each call component.
In the components group determination the system compares whether the characteristics of the call components match a components group type. As soon as it can assign a call component, it continues with the next one. In the profile for the components group determination you can define with which priority the system should consider the various characteristics. The system determines the relevant characteristics of the call components as follows:
JIT customer
The JIT customer is made up of the sold-to party and the partner description and can therefore be taken from the IDoc.
Unloading point and assembly location
The unloading point and, if necessary the assembly location, are also transmitted with the JIT call. The system can also take these characteristics of the call components from the IDoc.
Components group material
The JIT customer generally transmits the components group material with a call. You have several options for defining the components group material of the call component before the components group determination.
You can realize an individual components group material determination using a customer exit. This is particularly recommended for sequenced JIT calls for assemblies, due to the large number of variants.
If you use the process for discrete materials, you can transfer the material of the call components as a components group material.
If you use the process for discrete materials and exactly one components group material can be assigned to a call component, you can transfer the configurable material of the call component as a components group material. To do this you must have entered the configurable material in the material master of the call component in the tab page Basic data 2 in the field Cross plant conf.mat.
Production version
You can also assign the production version using a customer exit. The production version allows you to assign two otherwise equal call components to different components group types, to produce them on different production lines, for example.

Can we change the Record Group Type through Custom.pll

I have a small requirement on Changing the Record Group Dynamically.
Can i set the Record group type to 'Query' from 'Static'. i.e Can i change the Record group type dynamically through custom.pll. I know that we can dynamically change the Record group query.

Hunt group type Set up with outside ext numbers ie Cell phones

Using CUCM 9.1
Is there a quick and easy way to create a hunt group type set up using outside (cell phone numbers)?
The scenario will be one (person who will be ON Call) using an internal DID that is forwarded to to a cell phone of the oncall person that particular week. If no answer it would forward to the next line group of 4 members and also try their cell phones. After this it would simply repeat the entire process. So far it looks like a solution may be possible with single line reach perhaps?
Any insight would be grealy appreciated.

I set up something like this on CUCM 8.0 a couple of years ago.
I used the Mobile Connect feature as you suggest and it worked ok after some playing about with the timers.
The main problem was that there was no way for the remote users to log out of the hunt group. They could disable Mobile Connect using the IVR but the calls would still ring on their deskphones - if you log out of the phones (i.e. Extension Mobility) before leaving the office this problem should not occur.
The other issue was how long calls took to connect especially if a couple of people in the group did not answer. We actually recorded a message asking callers to be patient that was played when the call was first received (we were using UCCX to do the IVR and call transfer).

Hi,
In your Group dimension you should add a property called CONSO_TYPE. Anything entered in here will be available in the business rule header to select single/multiple Groups.
For example, in your dimension sheet;
Group ID     CONSO_TYPE
1                 A
2                 A
3                 B
and in your b rule header;
Group Filter
A
This will select Groups 1 & 2 for the business rule you are about to define.
