Report copied at FGRP,how to execute it at production client?

Dear all,i've copied a report done using report painter ( FGRP ) and i already transported it from developmet to production client. but the problem i am facing now is,how should i execute the report? where should i execute it? pls help. Thanks

2. I use HOST command on the server.
Ok, here how I did it.
1. Create Word 2007 template with XML token defined and store it in the database, which will be dynamically replace by the database values selected.
2. Create the HOST command procedure using JAVA, which you can find example in this forum.
3. Create Oracle DIRECTORY to point to a physical directory on Windows, UNIX or Linux
4. Create a "customXml" under this directory.
5. Retrieve your WORD template and put it in the Oracle DIRECTORY
6. Output your data into a XML format to "customXml" directory
7. use "$ORACLE_HOME/bin/zip" to zip this 2 files together.
8. Return the WORD doc to the screen.
9. Here you go

Yeah, there's no javascript that'll do it either. I saw a bunch of posts from php guys trying to do the same thing. It's just not part of TCP/IP. There are apps that will give you the MAC based on an IP in a local network. That's all I've seen available.

How to use 0vtc in production although prod. isn't allowed for customizing

I have created some routes and want to add transportation service agent datas into these routes by using 0vtc transaction code. But in the client that we are using for customizing we don't have and don't create the service agent master data and we can't customize 0vtc in production as customizing is not allowed in that client.
I need to learn how to use 0vtc in production client although production is not allowed for customizing.

Are you trying to do configuration in Production system?
Production systems are locked for configuration, you can not do any configuration in prodcution client other than some manual configurations. Your T code 0VTC is not a manual configuration so you can not do it production. And ruotes are defined as master data, use LSMW to upload the route data in prodcution. Ask your Basis team for authorization to do the same.

How to execute the Portal Activity Report

In the System Administration -> System Configuration-> Service Configuration Editor
Under Applications->com.sap.portal.activityreport.core-> Services->ActivityReport and I have configured the report.
I saved I have restarted the service to effect the changes and in Portal Catalog
Application->com.sap.portal.activityreport.core and I have administrated the changes. The Application Details Editor is displayed.
I have clicked the Restart the portal also.
I would like to know how to execute this Portal Activity Report after making this configuration.
Can anyone help me.

here an example with steps:
1. Navigate to Content Administration -> Portal Content
2. Step into a test folder and right click on the folder to create a new iView
2. Select the template "Portal Activity Report iView"
   Name: Daily User Logins
   Technical Name: DailyUserLogins
3. Open the newly created iView and define the following parameters
   under "Specify report content"
      Start of Reporting: Date 01.01.2005 and Time: 08:00
      End of Reporting: Date 31.12.2005 and Time: 24:00
      Time Unit for Reporting: Daily
   under "Configure report options"
      Information to Report: Number of users logged on
You have created a new reporting iView, aggregating information about the number of anonymous and authenticated users on a daily basis.

I believe there was an issue like this in base 9.0.2 release. When saving and closing the jsp file, it would always put the default character set in the jsp definition. To workaround this, open this jsp in a editor and change the character set to the desire value. This issue has been fixed in latest patches. You can download the latest Reports 9i patchset from metalink site.

developers workspace and once i run the program it asks for the main class
and then i gave main class as my HelloWorld Class,it generates error as
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: main

How to execute the content of varchar variable like a simple query

I did a PL/SQL region in apex, in this region I did the query which is storaged in a variable; it was did it concatenate several times,
in the procedure I have several sentences.
I thought that the command 'execute immediate' would get a good result but it do not print the result.

There are two ways of using a logical database - either by linking it with the executable program(specify the LDB name in the program attributes) or by using the function module LDB_PROCESS.
1.Data read by the logical database is passed back to the program using the interface work areas.Use GET statements in the report.

Hi,
   I think you can use the command INSERT <workarea> INTO <table position>. You can use the Loop index (Number of Loop traversal) as the table index for determining the position at which the new line is to be inserted.
Follow the F1 help for the command.

How to copy production client to development client

I have developed one report inwhich I call screen(module pool).My report name is zco11 as well as screen name is zco11.It is working fine and I transported it into production client(900).Now I rename the
report name as well as my screen name in my development client(300).So now my screen zco11 and screen zco11 is not there in my development client(300).Now I want to copy my zco11 report as well as my screen zco11 from production client(900) to development client(300).is it possiable? if yes then how?
please help.

you cant do it yourself.just need to contact your basis team for setting up transports from production Developement.
you can try System copy as well.
