Report for cancelled jobs

Hi ,
I have a requirement in which I have to create a report that should pickup all the cancelled CRM marketing jobs (due to whatever reason) based on on job name, copy them and restart them.
In your selection screen, you will give the cancelled job name (wildcard acceptable..like ZE00*) and a radio button to show the cancelled job list and copy the jobs.
Could anyone guide me on how to go ahead with this report?

Hi,
in table TBTCO and TBTCP you have all jobs with current status. You can search them by name.
Selected jobs you can "popup_with_table" FM. Then you need to use fm to submit job in ackground;
'JOB_OPEN', 'JOB_SUBMIT' and 'JOB_CLOSE'.

Post office upset w/separate auto & non-auto postage reports for same job.

I am new to Business Objects Business Edition. I am not sure why sometimes I process an automated mailing and get one postage report showing both auto and non-auto, then run another and get two postage reports, one for auto and one for non-auto. The post office is always complaining that we shouldn't have two postage reports. Can anyone offer a suggestion?

When the Postage Statement Type Option is set to "By Mailing" a separate Postage Statement will print for each scheme that qualified for the presort (or for each entry point in Business Edition). By Mailing is the program default.
In order to print one postage statement for the entire job, change the Postage Statement Type to By Job as follows:
1. Select Print > Reports
2. Highlight the Postage Statement
3. Click Options
4. Under Type, choose By Job
5. Click Create minimum number of pages (if it is not all ready checked)
6. To save as a default click Default
7. Click Save current settings as default
8. Click OK
9. Click OK
Note: When setting this as a default it will change this job and be the new global default for new jobs. After May 14, 2007 rate case, and using 7.80c or later, the Postage Statement may be on three pages, not just two even when doing a By Job Statement.
Diane - If you are usng Presort you can make the change to the report by opening up the postage statement block and setting the report to by job instead of by mailing.

Password report for EM jobs

We have multiple EM jobs that run against a node using the root password. Whenever the root password changes, we go in to each job and update the password. Sometimes, we miss a couple. Does anyone know if there is a location in the tables of the repository that give the date that the credentials for a job were last changed?

In std report this is not possible, talk to ur ABAPer to fetch the feild PLNUM from AFPO table with respect to the AUFNR field. This can be added to the std report itself. use this logic it will work

To send mail for cancelled jobs in SM37 to basis team using workflow.

Dear All,
I have a requirement to implement a workflow that will trigger a mail to basis team if there are any jobs with status Cancelled.
I found a business object type 'BPJOB' which has an event Cancelled. I tried to test if the workflow is triggered when a job is cancelled using transaction SWELS. But it doesnt trigger any workflow.
I tried finding a BADI/EXIT but there are no enhancements present for the transaction.
We already have a report which will trigger an email to the concerned basis person when the job is cancelled but the client wants it using a workflow.
I need to know whether there are any other ways to fulfill this reqt using workflow?

try using BPJOB_SMAN, which is an object for Schedule Manager.
check if it throws any event of BPJOB_SMAN.
If yes, then use a WF which would send/notify mail to BASIS.

Report for canceling schedules messages

Hi all,
I have a lot of Messages (>120.000) with status scheduled in sxi_monitor and I want to cancel the processing of this messages.
I know the button in sxi_monitor to cancel the processing but is there any alternative to this button like a report?
The cancelation with the button needs to much time.

I need your help on getting mail alert with log file.
here is how i have provide the parameter valure for job definition: system_mail_sent.
Step1 with one job1 and step2 with one job1
In step2 , i have included the job definition to send mail. with below parameter.
Relative Job: Step 1, Job 1
Job File: step 1, job 1: step 1/log.txt
Please let me know if the above method is correct or not.
NOTE: mail server and from address are configured.

You may need to activate some additional business content if not already installed but there are a lot BI statistics you can report on. Have a look at this:

I want to save several written reports for my job on a daily basis on my iPad from my computer is there an app or anyway to do this? Organize,rename and save documents to my iPad?

I scan several reports on a daily basis to my computer I wanted to know is there any app or anyway I can save these documents to my iPad and make sure they are backed up? Also I would like to organize them by name and date is there an app out there that can do this or anyway? I work in a court house with several reports on a daily basis any help please?

I just have the normal app and have had no issue with it. I think the only bug I've heard of is sometimes people start a new document and the Docs to Go will not acknowledge the input of a wifi keyboard until you type a few characters on the on screen keypad, but that may have been fixed.
I find documents easy to find. I have two main folders on my iPad, the desktop folder which has my 'to be kept synced' documents and then another folder with the documents i've put on it permanently. It lists them alphabetically so my only issue finding things is scrollling down 300+ documents.
One thing that I think the premium app has is the ability to access documents via the internet.
How I do it is, I have my document in the sync folder. I open up the docs to go desktop app, open up docs to go on the iPad, tap the sync button and the documents sync...so you do have to have wifi. not sure if that's an issue or not. It's never taken me more than a few seconds to sync.
I do konw that you can buy the basic version and upgrade for the cost difference, so you can always experiment and upgrade if necessary.

Job failure ( report RFFDKU00 scheduled for background job)

Dear,
There is no standard report in SAP which shows Report for conformation cancelled.
But you can check in order it self in COR2 good movement details.
Or check document in MB03
Use CORS to reverse the phases.
After canceling if you want to view it again then use CORT (here there is one check box named 'Reversed' means that phase is reversed).
Or Please use user exit

Hi Puneet,
Goto transaction SM62 and in there to BckProcEvents tab. There you can create the events.
You just need to specify the name and Description of an event.

Here is the code,

Before to this code i am calling ALV GRID...
If i run in background Its creating a spool. But, after termination deleting the spool.
How can i make changes that the spool should not delete in batch job.

How to Fetch Cancelled Jobs info along with the Short Dump Text

Hi Gurus,
I need to develop a report to fetch the cancelled jobs information for the given period. I also need to display the "Error Analysis" part of the Short Dump if it exists.
I am able to fetch the Failed Jobs information and the Job log details using the FM "BP_JOBLOG_READ". But I need to show the "Error Analysis Text" on the report , if there is any Short Dump Exists for the Dump.
Please give me your ideas to fetch the Error Analysis part of the short dump for a given Batch Job Name.

The dump information is in table SNAP. You could identify which dump you want by the date & time of the failed job - let's hope you don't have more than one dump with the same time. If it is ambiguous you could also compare the program name of the failed step with the program name in the SNAP data.
The error analysis texts are in table SNAPT keyed according to which error occurred (which is data element code FC right at the start of the first record in the SNAP data). You will have to expand out the includes, and substitute the variable codes using values from the SNAP data. There is standard code to do this that you could copy - see program SAPMS380.
To find out the details of the SAP process you could run transaction ST22 via the debugger and use the same mechanism.

PS Note these details apply to recent systems I think there may be differences if you go back to before ?2004, but I don't have such a system so can't check. You didn't say what release you have.

Is it possible to RESTORE cancelled job and run it.

This question is regarding restoring old background jobs which were cancelled.
I have a report which runs in background with one variant. The report has a date as a selectionscreen input. This date is used by the program as field AUDAT to get the Sales orders from VBAK. The purpose of the program is to fetch the Sales Orders on a daily basis.
So I scheduled a job for this report on a daily basis. I created a variant and I used the selection variable 'current date in the attributes of variant for the date field(AUDAT) of selection screen.
So the background job will run daily by passing that days date to AUDAT field.
My problem is 2 days back the job got cancelled. Today is it possible to restore that old job and fetch the Sales Orders for which AUDAT is 2 days back from today?
Today I tried to reschedule that cancelled job, but I am getting the sales orders for which AUDAT is todays date but not 2 days back date.
Can you people please help me.

That is a perfect solution. Thanks. Thankyou very much. I implemented that. But I got another problem. I implemented as you directed, but the job got cancelled. In the Job Log I am seeing the message 'ABAP/4 processor: EXPORT_INIT_COMPRESS_FAILED'. When I double clicked it, it taken me to the short dump of that error and the short text is 'Compression error with EXPORT'. It said that the Error is in the SAP kernel and the current ABAP "SAPLSLST" program had to be terminated because the ABAP processor detected an internal system error. It has shown that the error is in include LSLSTF06 of program SAPLSLST. But my program has not used any of these includes and function modules.
Can you please suggest what could have went wrong? Did I do anything wrong while creating the variant or backgrond scheduling?
