Hi Experts,
i have a requirement like as follows:
The following triggers for Batch Jobs in the SCM system will be created.i.
Background Processing Event = u201CAPO Background Processing Eventu201D. After sending the Event, write a Log Report line u201CEvent u201CAPO Background Processing Eventu201D sentu201D.
Could you please suggest me how we create the Event or which transaction ?
Please give me a steps for creating events so that based on these events we use
CALL METHOD cl_batch_event=>raise
    EXPORTING
      i_eventid                      = p_bpeve
      i_server                       = p_server
      i_ignore_incorrect_server      = p_ignore
    EXCEPTIONS
      excpt_raise_failed             = 1

Right now i received message "APO Background Processing Event" is doesn't exists.

Hi Puneet,
Goto transaction SM62 and in there to BckProcEvents tab. There you can create the events.
You just need to specify the name and Description of an event.

How to create the request for change of selection text into other language.

Hi,
In my object requirement is that when login through Japanese language, then on selection screen selection text should appear in Japanese language. For that I have maintained the text in Japanese language the program where we define the selection text there from translation I have maintained the text in Japanese but while maintain the text it didn't ask me for REQUEST, because of that I am not able to transport the changes to next system, so I want know how to create the request for this case.

Hello Chetan,
You could goto the selection screen texts by goto-> selection texts,
Then you could again goto -> Translation
or
Other-> Translation(Not sure )
Then double click on the Program you should be able to see the Texts that need translation, now change something save and come back and try to activate, now it should propose for a new Transport Request.
Either create a new transaport request or give one that you have given for the program.

How to find the report for the SAP query (Query exists in table AQLQCAT)

Hello Experts,
I need to find the tables used in the SAP Query but i don't have access to transaction SQ01,SQ02 and SQ03 to check the same.
Therefore i checked table AQLQCAT and got the SAP Queries in the system. Then searched for the reports that would have been generated for the same passing AQusergroupquery name* in transaction SE38.
But unfortunately the program does not exists for the given paramenter.
Could you please let me know how to get the report name for the SAP Query.
Secondly please suggest any other way of checking the tables used in the SAP Query.
Also the table name from where i can download the SAP Queries.

I suggest you a simple method.
Execute the query. When the selection screen is showed, go to menu and click to SYSTEM->STATUS.
Check the program name and double click it to access the program code.
Search for tables or functions into the source code in order to understand where data are taken.
If you do not find anything , go to the program atttribute and check for logic database, sometimes they are used....

I got the requirement where i need to create the form for the Annuitant (Retriees) through they will inform their annuity department still they are surviving....so based upon the annuitant department run the annuity payslip for him.......
In that I should keep company information in the top and resprctive employee information like EMP ID and his contact address need to specify by default.....
For ex: Employee X is clicking this form..it should contain common information like company name and also employee's "X" respective information like his EMP ID and his contact address like wise the form should generate both common address and employee respective information.....both in Arabic and in english....
Is there any readymade BSP for this or if anybody have developed same kind of BSP pls send the code to [email protected]
How to do that.....ist very urgent.......

ABST2 - How to take the report for the previous fiscal year

Hi,
For FI-AA reconciliation, my scenario is this: The current fiscal year is 2009 and the system (server) date is 16-Apr-2009. My fiscal year period is: Mar-Apr. In ABST2, it does not accept Fiscal year. When I take the report, it displays for fiscal year 2009, which I don't want because I want it for the fiscal year 2008 to reconcile between FI and AA. The fiscal year 2008 is not yet closed in both FI and AA, so I want the report for 2008 only. But ABST2 always gives the report for the current fiscl year. Is there any way out to get the report for 2008?.

This report is based on the actual values. In the past this report was used for EURO conversions to see if the values are in line. When not it was not possible to do the euro conversion.
Normal it is a part from the fiscal year closing

I'm trying to integrate Oracle Forms with Oracle Reports and the document says that I have to know the tnsnames.ora entry for the report server. In other versions it was created automatically but in 11g there is no configuration. How do I configure this?

In 11g in the opmn.xml the environment variable TNS_ADMIN is set for the reports servers; in addition to the "normal" location under $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin you have to add a tnsnames.ora in $INSTANCE_HOME/config if memory serves (just take a look in the opmn.xml for the exact location)

I need report in the format:
Unit------Report A------Report B-----Percent
U1----------s1----------------s2-------------(s1/s2)*100 %
U2----------s3----------------s4-------------(s3/s4)*100 %
U3----------s5----------------s6-------------(s5/s6)*100 %
I need conditional formating in percentage column where column cell turns green for > 98% and red for <= 98%.
I used pivot table and used new calculated item to create percent column but I'm not able to do conditional formating there and append % sign.
Is there any other method where I can create logical column in RPD side.

BEx Analyzer: In the properties of the analysis grid, the switch
"Suppress new rows" must not be set. Furthermore,
the switch "Allow entry of plant values"
must be set in the local query properties.
I have not seen this setting Allow entry of plant values in a query - can you tell what is refers to?

My question is . In one work center machine capacity category 2 machines are used. Client is asking the report machine wise. i.e as 2 machines are available .What is the capacity utilisation for each machine.Provide me the information for this. Thanks in advance

you have to make some settings in production order & work center first.
In work center capacity header ,you have to make indiovidual capacities as 2.
In the same capacity header screen by going through the menu Goto--->individual capacitities define these different individual machines.
In the production order operation detail screen goto " capacity reqmt assignment " assign the quantities for different work centers.
Adfter this in the confirmation CO11N you have to fill the split field accordingly& confirm different wortk centers seoperatley.
Then you can the report in the CO14 for diferent work centers.
you try this.
