Report Formula help please

Good afternoon, I'm fairly new to this type of coding. I currently have a report that generates for 1 code to calculate. I need to figure out how to allow it to calculate two codes.
For example the current report is for in excess minimum wage, which the report will allow me to enter 1 code. so for example the code is CTips. and the current formula is:
YTD Reported Tips
If {EYtd.detCode} = {@yyyECodeTips} then {EYtd.aamount}
YTD Tips up to Min Wage
if ({@YTDStateMW}-{@YTDRegPay}) < 0 then 0 else {@YTDStateMW}-{@YTDRegPay}
YTD Tips in Excess of Min Wage
NumberVar BaseLessFMW;
BaseLessFMW := {@YTDFedMW} - {@YTDRegPay};
If
BaseLessFMW < 0 then {@YTDTips}
Else
{@YTDTips}-BaseLessFMW
YTD Excess SS&MC
(({@YTDTips}- ({@YTDFedMW}-{@YTDRegPay})) * {@YYYSSMCRate})/100
How can I customize this so I can have 2 codes, for example CTips and ChgTips?

The variables/formulas are in the Group Header. I have tried moving the sub reports to the page header and report header, when I do that, the variables display nothing. With the sub reports in the Group and Details sections, it displays the data fine, except the variables are a record off.
Another problem that I see also is, when you do an export to created a CSV file, the export ignores the variables.
