  • Report to check all cost object balances are Zero in Monthend

    Dear Friends,
We are facing an issue in every monthend while doing FI and COPA reconciliation that some balances are left in cost objects. Can any one please suggest any single report if any which will show balances in all cost objects instead of individual reports for cost object. Also suggest tables to be used , Pro and cons of devoloping Z report for this requirement.
    Thanks & Regards
    Ravi

    Check the following tcode
S_SL0_21000007 - Cost Elements: Breakdown by Company Code
This will provide you the balances lying in cost objects.

  • Report to see the g/l balance vendor wise

    hi experts,
i need to check the balance of  one g/l "tds on contractor" vendor wise.
but i am unable to get the information vendor wise.can anyone give me some idea by which t code i can see the report?
    Thanks
    Regards
    Konishko

    Try this...
Using FBL1N (Vendor Line item Display) you can click on "dynamic selections" at the top and add the GL account to the search criteria. That way you can display only the open item information for any vendor for one particular GL account.

  • PS report does not equal to asset balance report

    Hi SAP Gurus,
We have this problem where PS report S_ALR_87013557 is showing higher amount than the Asset Balances report S_ALR_87011964.
Have checked on the transactions and found out that some postings are not yet settled to asset that is why the amount is different. However, there are instances that settlement has been done to Asset but it did not reflect to Asset Balances report. Is there a way or report so that I can further check on discrepancy?
Also, is there any existing report where I can view all postings made to WBS element or even project definition?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Ahmed,
    Thanks for your response.
Receiver in settlement rule is  fixed asset, but some did not have WBS in asset master, maybe this is the reason.
Have checked report S_ALR_87013558, though I'm not sure what is Commitment column all about?
Can any one help the purpose of the commitment column and in what scenario it will reflect to actual column?
Appreciate any inputs on this. Thank you.

  • Can Bridge report in-camera settings for White Balance?

No matter what settings I choose in Bridge Preferences, I cannot get it to tell me what was the White Balance (WB) setting of the camera when raw images were shot.
This seems an odd omission because Camera Raw is passed this information and displays images correctly, although it doesn't report what WB value it was given, only that what you are viewing, prior to any editing, is the default "As Shot".
I'm referring to raw files shot on my Canon 300D, Nikon D700 and Canon 5D Mark II.
Currently I'm using PsCS6 (13.0.1.2 x64), Bridge CS6 (5.0.2.4 x64) and ACR 8.1 on a Windows 7 x64 8GB system, but the same omission existed on the same Windows system with ACR 7.x in CS6 and all releases of PsCS5, Bridge CS5 and ACR 6.6 and 6.7.
On the opening dialog of Bridge Preferences, at the bottom you can choose whether or not you wish to 'Hide Empty Fields'. Selecting or unselecting this option does not have any effect upon Bridge's inability to report WB when, from within Bridge, you select File Info from the File menu or by hitting Ctrl + I.
The only locations in Bridge Preferences I can find that need selection (and which I have selected) for Bridge to supply WB information upon invoking File Info are here:
    Preferences\Metadata\Camera Data (Exif)\White Balance; and
    Preferences\Metadata\Camera Raw\White Balance
I have also selected Preferences\Metadata\File Properties\Supports XMP, and yet Bridge fails to give the in-camera WB in the Camera Data tab of File Info.
I have been able to locate references to WB in the following tabs of File Info:
File Info\Advanced, where there appears, under the sub-tab 'Exif Properties (http://ns.adobe.com/exif/1.0)', an entry such as 'exif:White Balance:1'; and
    File Info\Raw Data an entry such as '<exif:White Balance >1< /exif:White Balance>'.
However, these are just code numbers, not names like 'Cloudy' or 'Shade', and they are not only inconsistent (both showing the code 1 for an unedited image I know was shot with Auto WB and another unedited image I know was shot with Flash WB) but also it would appear that the codes may refer to the WB as modified by ACR - because an image I know had its in-camera WB of Auto altered in ACR shows a code of 'Custom' rather than 0, 1 or some other number.
So what am I missing? Does anyone know how to make Bridge Preferences display the in-camera setting for WB, and if so, under which tab of File Info do you look for the answer once you have set up Preferences properly?

Just corrected my current Photoshop version

I'm afraid that you just haven't addressed the question that I asked in my original post.
I still like to think I have but if you for whatever reason need this info showing in the metadata you probably be better of trying to alter it your self or find a way to address Paul personally (maybe via a private message).
I have not heard from him for a long time and a small google search provided me with this forum post, hope it helps you, maybe you can also persuaded Paul to come back, he is very missed!

  • KE24 Report comparison with FI GL account balance report

    Hi Friends,
I'm comparing KE24 transaction code COPA actual line item balance with FI GL account balance report, but I'm not able to match it/not sure how to match it.
Could you please let me know how to compare these two reports mainly to know whether all the balances in FI are moving to COPA properly. Also please let me know how the values are being extracted for this KE24 transaction code.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Dwarak

This comparison can only be done with a thorough knowledge of the config that was made to transfer information into the COPA system. It is COMPLETELY implementation specific. It generally is grouped into several areas - Revenue, Cost of goods sold @standard, cost of goods sold period based adjustments (E.g. variances) and overheads.
Here is some VERY broad guidelines:
Revenue method will depend on whether you are using "vanilla" sales of inventory from SD, or whether you use resource related billing in PS. Further you will need to know which condition types post to which GL Accounts, and to which value fields.
Cogs method will depend on the sames differences, also whether you are using material master price (VPRS), or whether you are using standard cost estimate. If you are using standard cost estimate, you need to know the cost components used, and which value fields they post to.You also need to know which GL account(s) is posted to. This is based on the valuation class in table 30. Alternatively, for resource related billing you have to know how the DIP profile was set up.
You need to know how your production variances are posted, your purchase price variances and your overhead variances on production cost centres.
Overheads can be posted directly from FI, from MM, or settled from an internal order or project. Alternatively, they are assessed from cost centres, to PA using assessment rules.
You also need to know whether there are any statistical value fields, which should be excluded from the reconciliation.

  • Rebate report or list which shows the balance of each rebate in the list

    Hi,
VB(8 list rebates; this report lists the rebates in the selected range and you can drill in...Even after drill in this list does not include settlements or manual accruals and so does not reprent the balance? Any thoughts or experience with this issue?
    a further question;
when you have several hundred, is there a report or list that shows the open balance of each rebate with out drilling into each rebate number?
    thanks
    Craig

    Hi,
Have you tried the following :-
Compare Rebate Basis: Billing Documents Versus Statistics
    Title
Comparison of the Rebate Basis and Accrual Corrections
    Purpose
The report RV15B002 gives you the option of comparing statistics from the rebate settlements with the values from the billing documents. These values can differ if you start rebate processing later and want to take into account old billing documents. The report also allows you to post a rebate correction agreement, which corrects accruals.

Using the checkbox 'account with balance of zero' seems to have no effect at all.
    Please advice

In Balance Sheet Print layout Desinger(PLD) Select Report Vertical Balance Sheet-Create a new template using
APA vertical Balance Sheet,Create a new formula field for ex.
    Field_073 != 0.00 and detick visible &
    Select Field_068 with system variable-264 & Link to Field_073.
It will eliminate zero values in Balance sheet print report.

  • AR01 REPORT IS NOT TALLYING WITH GL BALANCE

    Dear SAP Guru's
AR01 report is not tallying with CWIP gl. during our observation, we found that out of four CWIP assets two of them showing over balance and two of them showing under balance. but when i tried for settling these assets to actual assets, system shows no value for settlement. But when i try for Scrapping, system is allowing for scrapping from these CWIP assets. In General, when ever value is lying in the CWIP, system will allow for settlement, but why in these case it is not allowing. What could be the reason ..for .CWIP assets shows Under/Over value.
    Please advice.
    regds

    Dear Ravi..
    Thanks for your early reply...
    01. As per the Program documentation, it shows that these report should be executed only before year end closing.
Is there any effect if i execute now.
    02. For Your information, i know the exact difference of balance which both AR01 and CWIP GL shows, so to what extent this program ABST2)will help.
03.It would be helpful to me  if you have any solution to resolve it.
    04. Actually this problem was existing from more than 3 fiscal years...our auditors did not recognize it..now management recognised and want to rectify. If i reverse any entries it will effect previous Statutory reports, so without effecting the previous statements i have resolve it.
    Regds,

  • Best D.A.L options to report Webi (/BW?) on top of ECC

    Hello,
Sorry if my question looks simplistic but i'm quite new to SAP with BO.
Here is the situation: We have implemented ECC and we want to create WebI reports out of the information in ECC.
I'm looking for the best option (with ideally pros & cons), with a focus on the best Data Access Layer.
    - (option1) Someone has proposed (and prototyped) WebI/Universes with a direct connection to ECC tables. Problem is they didn't know the underlying model and information may not be accurate. Also, it doesn't feel right to me because of the afored point but also because of performance (need to retrieve data through lots of tables and joins) or security issues (not leveraging ECC security). Whenever we'll change ECC, i fear that this will be directly impacted.
    > are my assumptions/fears correct
    > what are the better way to directly connect to ECC (assuming this is SAP drivers)
    > would this option be more relevant if we use SAP rapid mart (using the data services BOBJ ETL tool)
    - (option 2) another option would be to setup BW on top of ECC, then creating WebI reports on top of BW.
    > if this option more relevant than the one above
    > I'm also wondering if the best option is an OLAP universe (with direct access on infocube), or is it better to create a relational universe (using a tool i don't remember the name)
    > is it better to create a custom datamart on top of ECC (but we have a few specific in ECC and it looks like we reinvent BW)
    > i'm not familiar with BW accelerator but it looks like it may help.
Thanks a lot for your help.
    jc

    Hi,
The best option is to follow SAP BOBJ best practices.
BW on the top of ECC.
Queries on the Top of InfoProviders
Universes on the top of Queries
BO on the top of Universes.
Universe can also be created on the top of InfoProvider but it is not a good practice.
If we connect BOBJ directly to ECC it is possible but I won't suggest for we loose so many things.

    Bashir Awan

    Hi Pawan,
Search for the error and you should see many threads for this issue.
Anyway, this is what I found:

Claims report is used to view the details of the components of the claims but all it is showing is the values /561 and /5py wage types. All the configuration that needs to be done has been done and SAP note 1127120 has been applied. The report still comes out in the same format.
