ReportViewer 2012 Scroll Bars

I am using ReportViewer 2012 to display reports from a report server.
If the report is larger than the display window scroll bars appear however in Internet Explorer 11 they are in the wrong place as they are sized to the whole of the iframe. As a result the vertical scroll bar includes the parameter tool bar and the horizontal
Scroll bar does not appear until you scroll the bottom of the report into view.
If I run the app using Chrome the scroll bars are shown correctly.
How can I fix this so the scroll bars appear in the correct place in IE 11?

Based on your screenshots, the horizontal scroll bar is not showing in IE 11. Right?
It has reported a lot of incompatibility issue in IE 11. One workaround is change the X-UA-Compatible meta tag. It allows web authors to choose what version of Internet Explorer the page should be rendered as. You can change it like this: <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible"
content="IE=9" />. Please refer to the similar threads below:

Reportviewer Control vertical scroll bars

Hi,
I am using report viewer control to display reportins in a web application. For some reason I am not able to get the vertical scroll bars to show up. As a result the lower portion of the report is getting hidden. This was working in VS 2005 but it breaks in VS 2008. I tried some combinations of Size to Report Content, Asynch Rendering etc., but have not found any combination that works. Can anybody please help?

I can't repro this. If the report doesn't fit the control height, ReportViewer shows vertical scrollbars. In my case, ReportViewer is configured as follows:

Scroll bar on legend for xy graph

Is there a way to create a scroll bar for the legend of an XY graph? The number of entries in the legend will be changing programmatically so the legend needs to be able to grow dynamically (which I have figured out how to do using property nodes). Any ideas?

Ultimately I will have 6 xy graphs in my vi, I would like to have a seperate scroll bar for the legend of each graph. Each graphs legend will both grow and shrink as the program runs and I would like to use the scroll bar to keep the legend from growing off of the screen. I would like to be able to dislpay the data from the point (6 m/s for example) along with its symbol on the xy graph (red dot for example) in the legend. If I am umderstanding you correctly I need to bundle the type and color of the plot into a cluster with the data and then link that cluster to the scroll bar, I assume I can read the property node for each data point (setting it to active plot first) for both plot style and color? Let me know if I am thinking about this correctly or if I have misinterpreted what you are saying. Thank you very much for your help!

Horizontal scroll bar missing after switch to Apex 4 theme

Hi,
I upgraded Apex to 4.02 and switch my application theme from old 3.2 theme to new Apex 4.0 theme,
I found that all the Apex 4.02 won't show horizontal scroll if the interactive report width larger than the browser windows width.
Is this the default behaviour of all the 4.0 theme?
How can I change it to display the horizontal scroll bar.

How about editing the template with some css?
something like this should fix your problems (worked fine for me)

Scroll bar in table control without wizard

Dear All,
I have made a module pool program for gate pass. In which i have taken a TABLE CONTROL WITHOUT WIZARD. Now my problem is , the table control does not have the SCROLL BAR functionality. It is not showing the scroll bar also. So can any one of you can help with the code that i can use to bring that scroll bar.
Table control is without wizard.

In PBO module write the code as,
    data: fill TYPE i.
    DESCRIBE TABLE itab LINES fill.
flights-lines = fill.
   Flights is the table control name in screen and itab is the internal table name.

Horizontal scroll bar disappears in URL isolation method iview

Hello Experts,
I am facing a strange problem. In MSS --> Reporting, when the report is generated, it is shown in a new window. That iview is basically having URL isolation method which has been disabled i.e. it cannot be changed(It is an iview created by SAP). The problem is the scroll bars. The report is basically a R3 report which has scroll bars but when it is displayed in the iview, the horizontal scroll bar disappears.
The requirement is to have both the scroll bars.
The horizontal scroll bar appears for a while when we manually resize the window.
I have checked the windows parameters also in which the scroll bars are set to 1 through code in WD java(not in the iview properties).
Please help !!

Vikash,
Header and footer can be handled from the property 'tray' of the page and iview. But this is not a matter of concern. Try the following to see if the report is getting generated-
1) Try toying with the properties of page- 'authentication scheme', 'initial state-open', 'isolation method-embedded','metadata for navigation hierarchy-cacheable'.
If the above do not help-
1) Preview your iView from the admin console.
2) Right click on the opened up window (where the report is getting displayed) and select properties.
3) Copy the address URL from that.
4) Create a URL iView for the above copied URL
5) Use this new iView to see if it resolves your problem. OR assign this to a page and then see it that helps.
Its really strange to believe the above, but it actually helped me in one scenario. Let's give it a try and then I can explain further its reasoning.

TableView and horizontal scroll bar

I need to show horizontal scroll bar in my TableView - there are many columns in my view. I tried to put it into the ScrollPane but it takes no any effect.. Is there any ability to make scrollable treeview via FXML layout file?

OK. If I understand you correctly, you want the table view to fill the scroll pane width when the total column width is less than the scroll pane width, but show a scroll bar when the total column width is greater than the scroll pane width. Is that right? If so, I don't believe that is currently supported. I think there is a feature request for it, but JIRA is down right now so I can't tell for sure.
Feel free to submit a feature request for this if you like, and we'll mark it as a duplicate if necessary.

I am about to throw my new Mac Book Pro 15inch out the window!! Does anyone else have a problem scrolling e-mails!?? I cannot find the scroll bar that disapears with out continually pulling at the bottom right corner to reveal it and then it disappears!!?

Which model MacBook Pro do you have (e.g., "15-inch mid 2012") and which version of OS X are you running? If Mavericks you can go under System Preferences>General and tick the "Show Scroll Bars: Always."

Length of TEB text in scroll bar

Hi - I want users to enter text freely into the TEB using the scroll bar version but don't want the text to drop of the page. How do I limit the user typing forever please?

Hi, think this will be difficult, because the entry in the TEB cannot be checked until the user has submitted it either by the button or by the shortcut key. Perhaps, but didn't check, the TEB validator of Jim Leichliter could help?

Different Scroll bars in one file

I've manually customized the look and feel of the scroll bars for scroll pane component and it works fine. I've two different files that have different visual styles for scroll bars. Now I want to merge these two files meaning I want to have one file with two different styles of scrollbars co-existing. I can resolve the naming conflicts but both of the them are using same asset names and action scripts (I think in the class definition).
So basically my question if how can I have two different scroll bars implemented in one file?

Was able to remove the scroll bars by using only the styleClass as AFStretchWidth. But there is a default partition in middle of the page still? Can i remove that too by any way.

Your code is absolutely unreadable - even if someone was willing to
help, it's simply impossible. I do give you a few tips, though: If you
understand your code (i.e. if it really is YOUR code), you should be
able to realize that your minimum and maximum never get set (thus they
are both 0) and your exam 3 is set with the wrong value. SEE where
those should get set and figure out why they're not. Chances are you

At times when dragging the vertical scroll bar my computer screen oscillates up and down for some time before going blank or not responding to any clicks requiring a forced system restart. What is wrong?

Suddenly while working with Firefox if I happen to drag the vertical scroll bar, a very abnormal behavior occurs. My screen dances up and down for a short time before either going black or getting restored but with no clicks working. The only way to resume is to force a restart of the system.
Any help would be deeply appreciated.

That didn't work. On trying to install a new driver I got the error the graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware. Is there anything else that can be done to at least prevent the hanging of the computer even if it means less features from Firefox being available?
