Scroll bar on legend for xy graph

Is there a way to create a scroll bar for the legend of an XY graph? The number of entries in the legend will be changing programmatically so the legend needs to be able to grow dynamically (which I have figured out how to do using property nodes). Any ideas?

Ultimately I will have 6 xy graphs in my vi, I would like to have a seperate scroll bar for the legend of each graph. Each graphs legend will both grow and shrink as the program runs and I would like to use the scroll bar to keep the legend from growing off of the screen. I would like to be able to dislpay the data from the point (6 m/s for example) along with its symbol on the xy graph (red dot for example) in the legend. If I am umderstanding you correctly I need to bundle the type and color of the plot into a cluster with the data and then link that cluster to the scroll bar, I assume I can read the property node for each data point (setting it to active plot first) for both plot style and color? Let me know if I am thinking about this correctly or if I have misinterpreted what you are saying. Thank you very much for your help!

I'm sure it is possible to get a color map... but I'm affraid I could'nt get to the result you wish I think I'm not far..
Maybe somebody knows hox to get it from the variant, I am not used to use these "tools": Sory...
If you don't need a real 3D graph, it might be easier to use an intensity graph.

How to Generate Event on change in Plot Legend for XY Graph

Hi,
I have two XY graphs on the front panel and would like to maintain a common plot legend such that any change in the plot legend affects both graphs.
Objective: I would like any value change in plot legend to fire an event.
How do I program that?
I know of value change event for the graph but am unable to find something specific to the plot legend. Other option is to have the user press a "refresh" button that will fire the event.
Feel free to share thoughts on other elegant methods to achieve the same objective.

Looks like you are talking of exactly what I want!
I have attached a sample VI to try achieve what I want. But it still has some issues which are:
1) I am unable to configure a Plot Attribute Change Event. I have used a mouse leave event instead. How does one configure a Plot Attribute Change Event?
2) Is there no single property which will transfer all the settings of plot legend from one graph to plot legend of another graph? In my sample VI, I have to read each property of the master graph and feed it into the slave graph.
Kindly note I am using LV FDS 7.1 on Win2000

How can I get the vertical scroll bar in firefox for mac to operate more smoothly?

This scroll bar issue has been a real pain for awhile, though it seemed to be better for a period of time and now has grown much worse again. I'm using Firefox 22.0. I try to grasp the blue scroll bar (right side placement) to move it up or down for pages that require scrolling to view, and it is very hard to hold and move the bar, plus it often bogs down as the colored wheel shows up as if the software is trying to process the action. It's very frustrating. I'm set to "smooth scrolling" in the Firefox settings, but that doesn't help. Is there a way to fix this and make the scroll bar move quickly and smoothly in Firefox for Mac?

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

ITunes 11.1 Scroll bar suddenly missing for Playlists

Yesterday I installed iTunes 11.1 on my iMac OS X 10.7.5. and everything was fine. However today, suddenly, the scroll bar for the Playlist column is missing, so can no longer access all my playlists.

I discovered that, in fact, certain options are initially hidden. Go to Apple menu > System Preferences > General > and you can select Scroll bar options. I chose "Always". It would make more sense to me if Apple made you search for ways to hide things rather than ways to uncover them. Anyway, thanks eddie and jones for your help.

Scroll bars pop up for just a second

Hi,
I am using states to show/hide a block of text in an itemRenderer. Acually it extends DataRenderer. I use a transition to change the size of the text block's container and then fade in the text. Sometimes for just a split second I see scroll bars pop up and then go away. I thought scrollbars were defaulted to off now. How do I stop the scrollbars?

Using min/max width and heights can have a momentary effect on scrollbar artifacts, i'm not sure if this is an application wide thing or more subtle, I know that the only times I see this 'strange' behaviour is when i'm using mx containers and size constraints, this is my thoughts on what is happening in some circumstances (could be wrong though) a vbox initialises to constraints thinks its viewport requires scrollbars enables them then the sizing or overrides decide scrollbars aren't needed and the correct behaviour is enforced. This is not just vboxes as I have seen this at the application container level which leads me to believe it has something to do with embedded size constraints. One note, I haven't seen this behaviour in the last couple of engineering pre-release builds so its either fixed or I have just subconciously changed the way I am coding (also I am refraining from using mx display objects unless there is no other option).

No vertical scroll bar in IE for my Flex Project...

I'm having trouble getting a vertical scrollbar to appear when the browser window is smaller than the content within the .swf file that is automatically embedded into the html template that Flex creates on a release build.
I fixed this issue with Firefox and Chrome by adding a style to the html template page that the .swf is embedded in.

I've even changed the fixed height of my main .mxml file to 100%.
IE is still not showing vertical scrollbars when the browser window size shrinks smaller than the content inside the .swf.
I'm perplexed.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Anyway, found the trick, simple really..
Just wrap the whole .swf in a <div> and define a static height. Wala!

we have similar problems with vertical scroll bar is missing for few transactions when we use SAP Gui for HTML , our enviroments recently upgraded ,we created customer message and they replied back saying Next Support Package(of ITS 700)will have fix for this problem,
but did not mentioned about estimated dates on that.

Firefox uses the native scroll bars by default.<br />
You can try to select another window theme in your Linux distribution that has better scroll bar appearance or see if installing a Firefox theme helps.

Scroll bar within e-mails

Dear all,
I'm working with e-mail activities in SAP CRM 7.1.3. Can anybody help with the problem described below?
Within e-mail activity screen, the section related to body has a certain height and in case a long e-mail is written, a scroll bar is used for readying the e-mail content.
Let's assume we are reading the all e-mail, scrolling down the bar, and then we decide to update a business partner in the activity header, based on info described in the body (e.g. in the signature). By standard, as soon as we click on F4 help for field contact person in the header (i.e. to trigger the popup for partner search), the system automatically resets the scrollbar in the body to the top, therefore we have no longer visibility on the bottom part of the e-mail (also considering the fact that until the popup is open, we can't scroll down anymore).
I'd like to adjust the code in order to prevent such automatic scrolling up of the bar, but I've not been able to identify the point of intervention, yet.
Does anyboby have experience with this?

Table control ahs a property called FIXED_COLS. You ave to pass the column number to this property.

Hello,
Not sure to understand the issue here. If you are using CRM7 EHP2, you should user WebUI/IC to manage BP. SAP GUI is no longer supported.
