Request api

Hi All,
I needed to get the modified value of attribute from request using api ...I have the request ID i have the attribute modified but how do i get the value...Does anyone know the api that can be used
Thank you.

I hope you are talking about Request Dataset. You can fetch the values in the same way as you for Provisioning Requests. You need to use same APIs.

    You can get some documentation on the create service request api from metalink. The note # is 215093.1. This gives you some real life example on how to update a service request. Hope this is helpful

  • Unable to request API Credentials

    Hello all,
    After navigating to the following page, https://developers.bingads.microsoft.com/, clicking on "Get Api Credentials" takes me here: https://developers.bingads.microsoft.com/Account
    This is just my account page that shows my email address, phone number, and address. Am I missing something here?

    Hello.
    To get a developer token for production, you must be logged into the Bing
    Ads Developer Portal as a Microsoft Account user with the Super Admin role. The Super Admin may request API access for any user
    within their customer scope. For more information, see User
    Roles and Available Service Operations.  If
    you are logged in with a role other than Super Admin e.g. logged in as Campaign Manager, then you will not see the option to request a developer token.
    I hope this helps,

  • Credit Classification is null in the call to create credit request api

    Hi All,
    We are currently working on the implementation of Credit Management module. The plan is to integrate it with Orders Management. When an order is created above a specified credit limit for a customer, a credit review request is submitted. This is done from Order Management side through the seeded procedure OE_CREDIT_CHECK_ORDER_PVT. In this procedure, the call to the API, the credit classification is passed as null. As a result the credit application cannot be processed further. Is any Oracle Patch required to fix this issue. Morevover we cannot update the table with credit classification, since the credit application is in submitted state.

  • CSD_RULE_MATCH_FAILED-calling service request api from oracle apps adapter

    We are doing integration between Siebel and Oracle Apps. When a service request is created on Siebel we are passing that in Oracle Apps using Oracle Apps adapter which is calling a custom API which is doing all the validations and in turn is calling a public api for service request creation. There are two types of service requests - Field Service and Depot Repair. For Field Service we are able to successfully insert the data on Oracle Apps, but for Depot Repair we are getting an error 'CSD CSD_RULE_MATCH_FAILED' from the standard API.
    We have checked the setup and found it is proper. We invoked the pl/sql API from sql developer and we are able to insert the data. So we are facing this issue only when calling the api from oracle apps adapter.
    In the invoke call we have set these properties -
    jca.apps.RespApplication
    jca.apps.Responsibility
    jca.apps.Username
    Based on our analysis till now it is looking like a security context setup issue, but we are not really sure what properties to set.
    Any help in getting this through will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Shantanu

    Hi Vijay,
    We have created the apps adapter with default settings as 'apps' user and set the properties Responsibility, RespApplication, Username of <invoke>. Other than that no other settings has been changed.
    Are we missing anything?
    This adapter is able to hit the database in case of 'Field Service' but it is failing for 'Depot Repair'.

  • Issue with deleting a group using Request APIs in OIM 11g R1

    Hi,
    I am facing an issue with Request Based provisioning in OIM 11g R1.
    I am currently testing a scenario where i have imported a data set for 'Modify Provisioned Resource' and am able to add a group/entitlement to an already provisioned resource by using the following code :
            RequestBeneficiaryEntityAttribute childEntityAttribute= new RequestBeneficiaryEntityAttribute();
            childEntityAttribute.setName("AD User Group Details");
            childEntityAttribute.setType(TYPE.String);
            List<RequestBeneficiaryEntityAttribute> childEntityAttributeList=new ArrayList<RequestBeneficiaryEntityAttribute>();
            RequestBeneficiaryEntityAttribute attr = new RequestBeneficiaryEntityAttribute("Group Name", <group>,                                                                       RequestBeneficiaryEntityAttribute.TYPE.String);
            childEntityAttributeList.add(attr);
            childEntityAttribute.setChildAttributes(childEntityAttributeList);
            childEntityAttribute.setAction(RequestBeneficiaryEntityAttribute.ACTION.Add);
            beneficiaryEntityAttributeList = new ArrayList<RequestBeneficiaryEntityAttribute>();
            beneficiaryEntityAttributeList.add(childEntityAttribute);
            beneficiarytEntity.setEntityData(beneficiaryEntityAttributeList);
    This works fine for adding a group but if i try to remove a group by changing the action to Delete in the same code, the request fails. The only change made is in the following line:
    childEntityAttribute.setAction(RequestBeneficiaryEntityAttribute.ACTION.Delete);
    Could you please suggest where can this possibly be wrong.
    Thanks for your time and help

    Hi BB,
    I am trying to follow up your response.
    You are suggestng to use prepopulate adapter for to populate respource object name, that means We have to just use an sql query from obj tabke to get the resource object name. right ?? it could be like below, what should I have entity-type value here ??
    <AttributeReference name="Field1" attr-ref="act_key"
    available-in-bulk="false" type="Long" length="20" widget="ENTITY" required="true"
    entity-type="????"/>
    <PrePopulationAdapter name="prepopulateResurceObject"
    classname="my.sample.package.prepopulateResurceObject" />
    </AttributeReference>
    <AttributeReference name="Field2" attr-ref="Field2" type="String" length="256" widget="lookup-query"
    available-in-bulk="true" required="true">
    <lookupQuery lookup-query="select lkv_encoded as Value,lkv_decoded as Description from lkv lkv,lku lku
    where lkv.lku_key=lku.lku_key and lku_type_string_key='Lookup.xxx.BO.Field2'
    and instr(lkv_encoded,concat('$Form data.Field1', '~'))>0" display-field="Description" save-field="Value" />
    </AttributeReference>
    Then I need think about the 'Lookup.xxx.BO.Field2' format.
    Could you please let me know if my understanding is correct?? What is the entity-type value of the first attribute reference value?
    Thanks for your all help.

  • Requesting API calls for Windows 10's virtual desktops

    Please add API calls for working with Windows 10's virtual desktops, for example, a way to determine which virtual desktop a particular window is on and which virtual desktop is active.
    The problem can be seen using the Snipping Tool. Open the tool and select a
    New / Window Snip. As you move the mouse around, the snipping tool
    highlights areas where there is no window, but there is a window in another virtual desktop.
    First desktop, Snipping Tool highlights and empty area ...
    Second desktop...
    It's because Snipping Tool has no way to know which virtual desktop a particular window is on.
    Thanks!

    Thanks, been there, did that, but there's no way to know if Microsoft listened or provided a solution :-(

  • Error While Making a Request Through API

    Hi everyone,
    I'm trying to submit a request through the API for the "Assign Roles" template, I used http://java.net/projects/openptk/sources/svn/content/branches/Oracle/OIM11g/examples/java/OIMClient/src/oim/client/request/RequestRoleCreate.java?rev=1489 as a basis for my code. Pretty much line for line.
    This is my code.
    public static RequestStatusSummary[] applicationAccessRequest(String email, String templateName, String roleName) {
    String userKey = getUserKey(email);
    Beneficiary beneficiary = null;
    RequestBeneficiaryEntity entity = null;
    List<RequestBeneficiaryEntity> entityList = null;
    List<RequestBeneficiaryEntity> entityAttrList = null;
    // add role requested
    entityList = new ArrayList<RequestBeneficiaryEntity>();
    entity = new RequestBeneficiaryEntity();
    entity.setEntityKey(getRoleKey(roleName));
    entity.setEntityType(RequestConstants.ROLE);
    entity.setEntitySubType(roleName);
    entityList.add(entity);
    // set beneficiary to user
    beneficiary = new Beneficiary();
    beneficiary.setBeneficiaryType("user");
    beneficiary.setBeneficiaryKey(userKey);
    beneficiary.setTargetEntities(entityList);
    // add benficiaries to the request data
    List<Beneficiary> beneficiaries = new ArrayList<Beneficiary>();
    beneficiaries.add(beneficiary);
    requestData.setBeneficiaries(beneficiaries);
    System.out.println(requestData);
    // submit request
    String reqId = requestSvc.submitRequest(requestData);
    RequestStatusSummary[] requestStatusSummary = requestSvc.getRequestStatusSummary(reqId);
    return requestStatusSummary;
    getRoleKey() and getUserKey obtain the correct values. Directly before calling this method I log in to OIM using OIMClient this works correctly as well. The issue is that submitRequest() throws this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

    While creating a request to provision iPlanet User one of the errors I was getting:

  • Customizing Request Application Flows in OIM 11g?

    To all:
    I'm trying to work through a scenario using Request Templates - I'm not sure that this approach is possible using configuration approaches and wanted to see if anyone has any useful feedback. First, let me describe the problem I'm attempting to solve:
    - The users who will be using self-service will be somewhat restricted on what they can do: basically, once they have an account in OIM (this is 'automatic' from a reconciliation - there's no self-registration or user creation) they can request access to a small number of applications.
    The ideal flow that we would like to follow is:
    Step 1: Log in to OIM.
    Step 2: Create Request
    Step 3: Select the Application for requested access and the requested role.
    Step 4: Enter an effective date and justification.
    Step 5: Submit
    ... something 'application focused', not 'resource focused' as the end user community is not particularly aware (nor do they really need to be) about the details of how a user is authenticated.
    I can get 'close' to this using a request template, with this flow:
    Step 1: Log in to OIM
    Step 2: Create a request.
    Step 3: Select a Request Template. (I named the template after the application - "Select App Account")
    Step 4: Select Your Resource (only one in this case - restricted to "AD User")
    Step 5: Enter information about the AD account. (I can restrict this down to only allow for group selection, which is great.)
    Step 6: Enter effective date, justification
    Step 7: Submit
    So the only thing I'd really like to 'skip' (or somehow default) is the selection of a resource and skip that step - because the template only allows for a single selection anyway, and having an extra step with a single selection that may only muddle the process would be detrimental to the usability of the request.
    Is this a modification that we can make to the request flow ("If only one resource, default and move on") - or will we need to create some form of customized request process using the APIs?
    I've dug into the JSF navigation in the iam-console-faces WAR file; it seems that navigation is tied up in the backing beans - has anyone else used Request Templates to meet this type of need?
    My thanks in advance for any insight you can provide!

    It's a new flow which Oracle has introduced in OIM 11g. You can't skip that selection until you do modification in OOTB UI.
    RO is mandatory thing to raise request so you can go for custom UI (Need ADF Knowledge) in which you'll ask end user to select other things except that Resource and you'll fetch RO name from some configuration file for using in request APIs.Thanks - it looks like customizing the OOTB UI might not be possible - rather than using ADF/Faces configuration files, most of the navigation redirects seem to be 'hidden away' in compiled class files. (My original thought: add some kind of filter and/or extension to an ADF Task Flow that governs the request application flow - but there are not task flow files to modify?)

    Any pointers?

    Which version of OIM 11G you are using?
    If request is in failed status after operational label approved ->
    Check if any post operation are attached like (Provisioning process or Event handlers), If you will get any
    Exception, then whole process along with request will rollback
    If it happens in occasionally ->
    It could be bug with OIM 11.1.1.5, because I am facing same issue but if I shutdown one managed server
    (Cluster mode) and 2nd is in running mode, then my request is get approved always.

  • Creation of Change request with reference to existing change request

    Hi
    I want to do Creation of Change request with reference to existing change request for MDG-F and MDG c/MDG S Is it possible? If yes, How?

    Hi Sanjay,
    No , its not out of box functionality in MDG. Reason being, MDG framework provided some standard API's with the help of which we can do our development with ease.
    Like Governance API                            : IF_USMD_GOV_API
           Convenience Governance API         :IF_USMD_CONV_SOM_GOV_API
           Change Request API Interface:       IF_USMD_CREQUEST_API
    With the help of which you can play around with your data in MDG with the pre-defined methods of it.
    Best Regards,
    Kaustubh
