Request context path for portlet has wrong port number

I have a JSF application deployed as a portlet on the WLS_Portlet domain with port 8889. The portlet is being consumed in WebCenter Spaces, which lives in the WLS_Spaces domain with port 8888.
In my code, I am trying to get the request context path:
FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getRequestContextPath();
I expect this to return http://host:8889/contextroot (where I am able to access my app resources). Instead, it is returning http://host:8888/contextroot.
Any ideas why this is happening?

  • Context menu for toolbox shows wrong menu

    when itunes is open, right-clicking on anything in the toolbar (the stuff with the little clock) results in the context menu for the whole toolbar coming up as well as the context menu for whatever i'm clicking on. unfortunately the toolbar one comes up on top so it's super annoying. however, if i wait for the tooltip to show up before right-clicking, it only shows the correct context menu. i think this is just a bug, but does anyone know a fix?

    Hi Peter,
    If you are using Enterprise Portal to publish those reports to be viewed by the user, i think ur problem may get solved in EP itself. Contact ur EP associate and find out whether it is possible to do this or not. Hope we can do it in that. Otherwise you need to write some JAVA code in WAD which helps in not getting the display as such.
    Assign points if this helps u...

  • Integration server wrong port number

    Hi All, Suddenly from yesterday in our production PI server some setting has got changed. Files are not reaching Integration server. On investigation found out wrong port # is appearning. In RWB,Component Monitoring>Integration Engine XPI> Test Message tab, i see Send Message to: Http://<servername>:<wrong port #>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry.
    I checked in xsmb_admin-->Integration Engine Configuration, there i see the correct port(8002). Not sure why the same port is not appearning the Test Message Tab.
    For testing purpose i changed from 5000 to 8002 and test the message in the Test Message tab and processed. If i have 5000 then i get the below error message:
    Transmitting the message to endpoint http://<server>:5000/sap/xi/engine/entry?action=execute using connection  File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed,  due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: java.net.ConnectException: A remote host refused on attempted connect operation.
    Can you someone throw some light on this issue? This is a production issue.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    Also check integration server URL (Pipeline URL) is correctly maintained in the Business System for the Integration Server in the SLD.
    HTTP port you can also check on Abap stack SMICM -> Servicies option.

  • Seeting cookies for different domain with port number

    Hi,
    I've been desperately trying to solve this for a few days now so thought i'd give up and ask.
    Basically, when a user logs into the website, the idea is for them to be automatically logged into the bulleting board. This is being done by setting a cookie(I won't go into detail as it's not relevent).
    The cookie is being created in one domain (.stage.csu.ac.uk) and needs to be used by another, .prospects.ac.uk. However, the board is on servername.prospects.ac.uk:81, which means that the cookie isn't being picked up.
    I've been tearing my hair out for days about this. I can't change the fact it's using port 81, and there's no other way of doing this log in.
    If ANYONE can help, I would not be able to say thanks enough.
    Sam.

    Perhaps you can call a jsp on the other server to set the cookie for you, for example by loading it in a hidden iframe?
    This has some maintainance issues because you need to provide a full url to the jsp on the other server, so if anything changes (port number for example) then this solution will break.

  • After iOS 6 update, iPad has wrong phone number for Facetime

    I have my phone as well as my mom's on my iTunes account. She updated her phone today and signed into my account. When I updated my iPad this evening, it then associated my iPad with her number for Facetime and I've spent the last 2 hours searching for how to change it without success. It has my email--since it's the only one associated with the iTunes account, but I'd like to not have her phone on my iPad. Anyone have any ideas on how to get her number off of it?

    Do you have the mute switch engaged? It's the little slider over the volume buttons on the side. If you can see orange, it's engaged. Slide it the other way.

  • Portlet Configuration - Wrong Port

    Register of Portlet provider succeeded, but I can't call "Edit Defaults"!
    Instead I'll get the following message:
    "The Publisher's connection list is empty. Please click the link below to create a new connection."
    Clicking the given link tries to load http://server:7777/discoverer/viewer , but it is running under port 7778 !
    Where can I provide the correct port?
    Note:
    Discoverer 902 is running on Win NT. viewer, plus and portletprovider are ok.
    Portal 902 is running on Sun Solaris. Both use the same Infrastructure DB.
    Thanks,
    Thorsten

    The problem was, that the Web Cache was not started on the IAS running Discoverer.
    But I still does not know where this port was configured. Is there a provider.xml file or anything equivalent?
    Best regards,
    Thorsten

  • HT4137 iMessage has wrong contact number for me . How do I change it?

    How do I change iMessage contact number for me?

    You can go to Settings>iMessage and check to see what is showing under Send & Receive. Your phone number should be there, as well as any other device you have that is using the same Apple ID. The phone number should be taken from your phone when you activate iMessage. Again, if there are other devices that are using the same Apple ID, they would be listed there as well. See which ones have a check mark. You can remove those you do not want to use.

    OK, I have made some progress on this. Try opening the file you created in Pages '08 in Preview and saving under a new name. This is what my friend did and it worked. Here is what he said in his email to me:
    +"I opened your file on my MacBook Pro with Preview and then saved again under new name. I could open the file I saved in widows fine but the original file you sent would not open. "+
    Unfortunately, it did not work when I retraced his steps on my Mac. However, it is worth a try, and if it doesn't work on your own Mac, try another one you own or see if it will work on a friend's Mac.

    In the default php.ini is set open_basedir which limits work with php only to few directories (and directories bellow them). There is set /srv/http, /home,/tmp and /usr/share/pear by default.
    To allow your vhost you should add /data/www or set empty value.

  • One page has wrong-side number

    All the pages of my book have their numbers on the appropriate sides except for page 62, which has its number on the right, like an odd-numbered page.  It is preceded by page 61 and followed by page 63, both of which have their numbers on the right, as they should.  I've tried deleting page 62 and making a new page but the same thing happens again.
    I think I may have inadvertently created some sort of extra large page here because when I try to paste into page 62 the pasted item lands over to the left, outside the page proper.

    Apparently this is a file corruption that can supposedly be fixed by exporting the file to idml, only it didn't work in  my case.  Here is an earlier discussion http://forums.adobe.com/thread/526991

  • IMessage has wrong phone number how do I change it

    My iPhone 4S uses the correct # and so did my ipad up until about a month ago. That's when my daughter got her new 5C and it was set up. She's only 10, so they set it up under my appleID, now her phone # is showing up on my Ipad as the number to send messages to. She is receiving all my text and I hers.
    How do I change the number back to mine on the ipad?
    Thank you

    Try this on both you and your daughters iPhones:
    1. go to settings>messages>send and receive
    2. tap on the Apple ID and sign out
    3. turn iMessage off and wait 10 seconds
    4. turn iMessage on
    5. this should activate iMessage with the iPhones own numbers
    6. now only you sign into the Apple ID for iMessage
    This should revert back to only your number and email showing as the contact info for iMessage and you both should not receive eachothers messages. Your daughter will still be able to iMessage but only with her number unless she creates another Apple ID just for iMessage.
    Note: Only do steps 1-4 for the iPad

    Hello all, i am facing problem while saving log into Log file from servlet. I am using Log4j library and eclipse as IDE. When i push any log information to log file, it make log file default to eclipse path not in my servlet context path. I am using log4j.properties file for configuration. Which has following contents :
    log4j.rootLogger=DEBUG, FA
    log4j.appender.FA=org.apache.log4j.FileAppender
    log4j.appender.FA.File=log.txt
    log4j.appender.FA.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
    log4j.appender.FA.layout.ConversionPattern=%-4r [%t] %-5p %c %x - %m%n
    and servlet code for configuring properties file is : PropertyConfigurator.configure(context.getResource("/log4j.properties"));
    what when i push content to log.txt it create file in my eclipse path. How can i set the file path as my context path for log.txt?
    thanks in advance.

    I don't know such way. But maybe You can read the file when application starts (in ServletContextListener) and change this property when it's already running. Don't know if this helps, but may try.
