Request number change

Hi
I have assigned 5 function modules to 1 function group and it saved under 1 Request number.
Now i want to add 2 function modules from those 5 FM to different Request/Task number.
How can i do?
Inputs will be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi KRK,
TR is made for only Function groups not Function modules..
you cant change for the Function module..
you need to delte the TR for FG (SE10) and start saving the function modules under different TR's..
rewards if useful

  • Transport request number change.

    hi
can any one help me in this one
i created transport req number for main program while modifying the program.after that i changed text in text-03 while saving this one it asked me the TR number unfortunately i saved this in another TR number now the problem is the text is not replacting in main program.
it is giving error messege the task is locked.
    Plesase tell me the solution.

    venkat.

    Hi,
To delete your transport request first you have to unlock the request otherwise it will display you the message that object has been locked.
To unlock go to SE03, enter your transport request and go with unlock.
Now delete the entire request by selecting that request right click delete or if you want to delete object wise then select the object and go with delete.
After deleting that TR, again save it in the request you want.

  • Change the  description of the change request number" in SE10 after release

    Hi All
Is there way to change the
"description of the change request number" in SE10
after releasing the change request number?
    appreciate your feedback
    Thanks you
    Iver

    Hello
I do not know a way to do it in se10 but a simple program could do the trick.
Include the following code in your program.
update e07t set as4text = 'your new description'
          where trkorr = your_cr and langu = 'E'.
Of course you will have to wrestle with the 'moral issue' of directly updating SAP delivered tables

  • Changing request number

    Hi friends,
i have a custom table with TMG which was saved under one request number and here i want to change the request number to the latest one . what shuld i do??
give guide lines how do i change it.
    thanks ,
    kat.....

If Request is only containing custom table and TMG, you can release it.
Select latest request and right click --> include objects and provide previous request number.
Another way is to delete entries from older request.
Goto se80, browse to your custom table (mentioning package etc)..
Select table name --> right click on table --> other Functions --> Write Transport entry.
Similarly you can do it for TMG.

  • Difference between task request and change request

What is the difference between task request and change request during sap implementation. In general how many tasks will generate during a normal company inmplementation by any functional consultant?

    Hi,
Change request and task request are same. But generally change request is generated during newly created objects or reports that are transported and task request is used when u regenerate the change request by modifying that object again and transporting it in new change request.
A particular change request may contain multiple number of task request but that number depends upon number of objects u transfer during generation and transportation.
Pls do reward points if ans is useful.

  • How to get the spool request number ?

    Hi All,
I am working on a smart-forms. I am using a custom transaction to print these smartforms. When I execute
the transaction the print screen comes where I can do
    print preview or print.
Now to convert this Smart Form to PDF I need to know the spool request number to use in the report called RSTXPDFT5.
How do I get the spool request number ?
Do I need to do some changes in spool control options of print screens to get the spool request number or something else ?
    Please let me know.

    Hi,
You will get the spool no. in the parameter "job_output_info" after calling the smartform function module in print program. The spool ids of the prints is stored in table job_output_info-SPOOLIDS.

    Hi,
This will happen when have transported any object from Dev to QA and after transporting you want to change it...
Then in that cases you have to create a new request and if you want same changes in your QA or Prd system then move the request ...
So create a new request .. and there is no naming convension .

  • ERP - SD Sales orders with billing plan (material number change appear)

    Sales and Distribution.
Regarding sales orders with billing plan.
We create the sales order and create billing plan at header or item level.
We issue down payment request(s) upon receipt of sales order.
Often during the life time of the sales order one or more of the material numbers are changed after the down payment request(s) has been issued and paid by the client.
Our issue is that prior to changing the material number in the sales order we have to reverse the payment(s), reverse the down payment request(s) and after the material number change re-issue the down payment request(s) and register the payment again.
We wish to find a solution avoiding all the reversals.
If you have a similar situation please inform how to handle material number change in the sales orders with billing plan.

    Dear Consultor SD ,
There is no setting to create the invoice based on schedule line.
What you can possibly do is create multiple deliveries based on the schedule line and
    then invoice the individual deliveries.
If you want system to split the deliveries based on schedule line, then you will have to include Schedule line also
in the COMBINATION REQUIREMENT in VTLA.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Version Management of ABAP program gives the wrong request number

    Hi,
When i click on Utilities-->Version Management for any program it is not giving me the latest request number as the version info. My system is ECC 6.0 and the kernel level is 175. Please help.
    Regards,
    Sridevi

Did you do user master with variants import after your system copy in your development?
Did the program created in Production and moved to development or from dev to prod?
Which system has the latest timestamp of the transport request?
once you identified the system, which has the latest change...check if the transport has been moved to the other system.
    Note:
Its a wrong practice to rebuild your development with your production.
You development has already lost all the version history and you may not get past history.
Its most like a coplicated scenarion than the traditional one.

  • Significance of SUB REQUEST NUMBER?

    Hi Friends,
What is the significance of the SUB REQUEST NUMBER for an object transporting scenario? Please gimme a detailed answer.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Ram

    hi,
SUB REQUEST NUMBER is nothing but is called  as Task number.
When one user creates a program and save it it will ask for request number which we give.So a transport request will be genrated along with it u will get the tasknumber also.if some other person changes the program then a separate task will be generated. So now he will be only authorized to realese the task. This is  important beocz it is used to track the changes made by that user
