Required and disabled

I have address fields that are required and if the mailing is same as residence the mailing address fields
get disabled through a variable set in the backing bean. But In ADF, I am having trouble copying over
the data from the residential address to the mailing address when the box for mailing same as
residence is checked. Anybody have an idea on how to fix this?

Automatic deletion of temp files and Disabling copy to option of originals in DMS

Dear DMS Experts,
I have 3 requirements, I have searched the net ,but I am still clueless as to how to do it.
1) The temporary files created in C;\temp ( or the path we have given in dc20 ) has to be deleted after viewing the documents because of security reasons.
I heard about enabling the OLE2 option in table TDWX, but I am not sure .
2) The 'copy to' option of originals has to be disabled in display mode ( CV03N ). Adding further, the 'save as' and 'print option' for MS Office applications ( word, excel ) has to be disabled due to security reasons( I tried with both office integration and %AUTO% )
3) In product browser view ( using folder structure in CV01N ), I need the users to have 'delete link as ' option disabled as they are not supposed to delete the folders created by admin ( Deleting means deleting from the structure and not from the system) . For this, I have given authorization object for bill of materials for the users and disabled 'delete' checkbox as well as 'Delete from database' checkbox . But still, I am able to delete the folders from the structure.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am still in the dark regarding Q2 and Q3 . Regarding Q2, I tried disabling the check out options and also try opening it in SAP Script or smartform by populating the entries in the originals to the smartform. But still download option is possible. Hence I have raised to SAP service market place.
Regarding Q3 , I am trying to use custom authorization object .

Copy control for dates and disable the input

Hi All,
I have the following problem: I'm trying to copy dates in a follow-up order from the source order (which works fine by implementing the CRM_COPY_BADY method DATES) and disable the input of the copied dates in the follow-up order (which doesn't work).
In the change-parameter CT_INPUT_FIELDS you can specify the fields which have to be copied and furthermore you can control the modifiability of the field in the follow-up order via the parameter CHANGEABLE (e.g. 'A' means field can not be changed). This technique is the same in all methods of the copy BADI.
Unfortunately it doesn't work for the dates. As I said already, the date is copied but can be changed by the user in the follow-up order.
Anybody an idea?

Actually, I have tried with copy requirement 2.However, it works for copying a different customer with the same sales area as original. Yes, I may need to ask developer to solve my solution. But I would like to keep it to be the last choice. I tried to search "How to copy document between inter-company businees"; but the I still not get what my custome's want. IPhone 3GS blocked and disabled

I got an iPhone 3GS but it's blocked and disabled, I don't know why it's blocked I just bought it like that because it was cheap, anyway I forgotten my password and now it's disabled, I can I get it working without losing any of my photo, music, apps ect..

Mozilla just updated to Firefox 4 and disabled my F5 access. I can no longer work from home!

I'm trying to connect to my work network from home, but Firefox automatically updated to Firefox 4 on my home computer and disabled my F5 software which was what I was using to remotely login to my work computer. F5 Networks VPN client is standard stuff issued by my Federal Government job to allow me to work from home.

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

Creating new BAT file script to stop, restart and disable S I agent

We have just installed BOXI3 and are in the process of updating some bat files for stopping, restarting and failover (to our backup servers)and disable services on the Central Configuration Manager.   In my old scripts we called each service Examples (

I have a few questions
1. Server Intelligence Agent... Where would I find it's name   like the BOBJWebiServer example?
2. If my bat file stops this agent does that automatically stop the CMS, Webi, Report services?
3. This is for our support team in order to easliy stop Tomcat and other services for failing over to our DR sites and backups since the script automatically stops, starts, restarts disables and enable services..., is this the best approach?   We put these bat files out on the servers and all they do is click on them to start the failover process.

Try using
Process Monitor for looking the key.
For example, you may set the required value through the group policy and see what windows registry keys are changed.

Requirements and Routines

Hi gurus,
we are currently developing a routine that will check certain requirements before price will be calculated. Right now, the routine is suppressing the condition type when reqts are not met. since the condition type is a mandatory field, we are getting an error. is there a way wherein we can still display the condition type even if reqts are not met. im thinking condition type is displayed but grayed out. also, zero value should be the default value if reqt are not met. any idea?

Thank you for your input. Business do not want to remove mandatory field. instead, what they want is that if reqt is not met, the condition type will be displayed but cannot be edited. also, value is set as zero. can i create one requirement to disable editing and then a routine that will set value at zero?
i noticed that in standard, when condition type does not have a condition record, system is suppressing condition type.
how can i code your statement: If the requirement is met, cond type is "Required" field, Else not a mdantory field

OIM and disabled objects

when a disabled user is re-enabled in OIM , it automatically re-enables all the users disabled objects . is there any way to customize or turn off this behaviour . i would like the reneabled users to get his resource objects freshly provisioned

Do you intend to provision multiple instances of the same resource to the user?
What I mean is, when you disable the user, all the resources get disabled. While when you re-enable it, if you re-provision the resources, users would have 2 resources one which is disabled and other which is provisioned. We had a similar requirement and in our case we Revoked the resources when the user was disabled and users would re-request for those resources once user is re-enabled.
Additionally, if you want multiple instances of the same resource to the user with multiple instances in the disabled state (number of times you disable the user) and one in provisioned, you need to modify the Enable User task not to e-enable anything. In the same time you need to have a custom code which raises a request to provision the user with the resource (if you have approval) or provision directly.

That is the problem, that error message in VM is not explicit enough as to what steps to take to correct the problem. These bois screen authors decide arbitrarily to name settings as it relates to their world personally and there are not standards.
I still don't know how that got changed in the first place but that is not an issue with VM ware as to what else is changing the setting.
Do you have any explicit suggestions as to how the error message can be improved?

SCUP flash updates show up as 0 required and 0 installed although they are needed

We have a problem in sccm2012\software updates. We have imported Flash, Acrobat and Reader updates from SCUP 2011.
Reader updates works perfectly and are shown with "Required" and "Installed" numbers, but when it comes to Flash and Acrobat it says 0 for both. The only thing that shows is "Percent Compliant".
I have modified the detection rules to go for files instead of registry settings but it doesnt make a difference
Tried Google until my eyes bleed without finding anything like this.
Is there anyone out there that has a clue what the problem is???
The only thing else i could come up with is certificate problem but then shouldnt Reader updates work....

It shows 65% for ActiveX and 79% for plugin and there is no chance that so many have that version (223).
I havent distributed it as a packet yet because i wanted it to work with SCUP and automatic update is disabled via mms.cfg
I tried to run some reports to see the actual figures and it turned out that the reports are blank for software. I dont get any results at all. For other than Software it works fine.
So now i have to start to see what the problem is with software reporting........

Difference between 'Always Refresh' and 'Disable Cache Hits'

We are using clustered application servers with its own cache. We are not doing any cache synchronization. So, for selective objects we should ensure that cache is not returning stale objects.
I see two options in MWB for refreshing and disabling the cache. Can somebody explain the difference between these two and recommend what I should do to address my problem.

These are similar and often used together settings:
'Disable Cache Hits'
Is used by TopLink when a ReadObjectQuery is executed with only the PK fields. By default TopLink will short-circuit going to the database and try to find the object in the cache first. This includes 1:1 mapping queries. Turning this on will cause TopLink to go to the database instead of the cache in these cases.
'Always Refresh'
Is used to tell TopLink how to handle the results returned from a query against the database. By default TopLink will trust the cached version of any instances already cached. When this is enabled, or the refreshIdentityMapResult is turned on for a specific query the results of the query are used to refresh the values of the cached version.
The trick with always-refresh is that it does not force all queries to go to the database. It simply forces all returned rows to refresh cached instances.
These are often selected by customers who never want to trust a cached instance. They are typically used together to get that effect. This configuration will get minimal performance gain from the cache but still require the cache for object-identity (avoid duplicate instances).
Be careful though because these will have the effect for EVERY query and mapping traversal. I typically prefer to manually turn this on for my specific queries where I need to get the latest version from the database versus turning it on for all queries.
On the query the methods you will be interested in are:
query.refreshIdentityMapResult()
This will force the query to the database and have the results refresh the cached instance if it already exists.
One setting that is of definite interest is
descriptor.onlyRefreshIfNewerVersion();
This must be used in conjunction with the above query refresh and optimistic locking but it will avoid additional unecessary steps if the row has not changed since the cached version was read.

Hi,
You can temporarily switch off an aggregate to check if you need to use it. An aggregate that is switched off is not used when a query is executed.
To do this select the relevant aggregate and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Switch On/Off. An aggregate that is switched off is marked in column Filled/Switched off with This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
Since aggregates that are switched off must also be consistent, you do not have to activate the aggregate again or to fill it when you switch it back on.
Execute a query or trace that would use the aggregate that was switched off. Compare the time that the database needs with the time that the query needs when using the aggregate. If the query is not significantly slower without the aggregate, you can deactivate or delete the aggregate.
The system deletes all the data and database tables of an aggregate. The definition of the aggregate is not deleted.
Deactivation
Select the required aggregate and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Deactivate.
The status display in the columns Status and Filled/switched off change back to This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
If you want to, you can activate and fill the aggregate again later.
