Requisite u0096 CCM 2.0 Migration

I have seen some document available in service market place for migrating Requisite to CCM. Is that separate licence to get those tools.....
Anyother solution to migrating from requisite to CCM
Thanks

Thanks for your reply..........
I read the migration document...... My question is <b>how to get those migration tools</b>.
Also in that documentation they have mentioned some custom report (Z report). I can't find those reports in CCM system.
So Is that come under separate licence.......
Anyone had previous migrating experience please share with us.
Thanks

  • CCM automated (batch) upload program to Procurement Catalog

    Hello to all,
There does not appear to be a report to enable an automated (batch) upload program to a CCM Procurement Catalog.  This is a problem for customers who need off-hours periodic updating of their procurement catalog.
Has anyone encountered this problem and has found or developed a solution?
Thanks in advance for you help and comments.

Frank: to clarify things, the process is to upload content into Supplier Catalogs, and then map to Master and Procurement.
And you're correct - there is no standard report for uploads. But you can develop a custom one. An example of such can be found in the <a href="https://websmp206.sap-ag.de/~sapdownload/011000358700002122802006E/CCM_Migr_enhanceMarch_9th.ppt">Requisite-to-CCM Migration Toolkit</a>.

  • CUCM 4.1 to 8.5 migration.

We have an CUCM 4.1 running on only one 7825 server.
We want make upgrade  to 8.6 version without hardware changes.
After reading documentation,  i have got following plan:
    1) Download DMA Tool from Cisco website
    2) Install and run it on CUCM publsiher
    3) At the end of process, i will recieve a license file
    4) Write a letter on [email protected], with question about migration and license
    file converting
    5) After receiving upgraded license file, run 7.1 installation with option "Upgrade
ffrom Windows". It will ask you about license file, specify path to it.
    I have several questions:
    - How can i get 7.1 installation cd?
    - Which p/n and which steps i need to complete migration from 7.1 to 8.6?

    Hi Evgeniy,
I'll just add my bit to the good info from Jeremiah (+5 ) He is most correct about the server
    support aspect of this so check below;
This will be a very complex process which will need to be broken up into
    a number of distinct steps
The fist step for the CUCM upgrade path will be to move from 4.x to 7.x so you can leverage
the DMA upgrade/files. So I would break this down to securing a perfect DMA
.tarball (work with TAC to correct ANY errors) then the 7.x upgrade......let things
get working for a bit before the 8.6 upgrade.

    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/upgrade/7_1_2/upgrd712.html
First step will be to create the DMA files. These files will then be
used when you go to do your CUCM 7.1(x) build. The DMA (Data Migration Assistant) files will
    allow you to move your data from the Windows 4.x build to the new Linux 7.x build.Here is the requisite info for DMA;

  • User Comment field available for reporting?

User Comment field available for reporting?
When doing custom reporting against requests with reportable dictionaries we have a user request to also include the user comments.  How do I reference / point to the comments field for a request?

If you are referring to the comments which are added in the Comments and History section of a requisition, this information is not migrated to the datamart and is not reportable.
If, on the other hand, you are referring to a comments field that you have included in a dictionary on the service form, that information will be available in the datamart so long as that dictionary has been made reportable.

  • Transfer of Shopping Cart (SRM) to Back End Syetem (R/3)

    Hi experts,
We have just upgraded to SRM 5.0 with SRM Server 5.5 (SP 0008). We have moved our EBP application from Requisite to CCM. In our old application we have created some customer fields in the shopping Cart and will be moving the data from the shopping cart to Back end (R/3).
In R/3 EXIT SRM_PO is implemented to get the customer fields into Purchase Requisition. Now after moving to SRM 5.0, we are able to reproduce the customer Fields in Shopping Cart. But the data in those customer fields are not moved to Back end (R/3). Earlier BADI   ' BBP_CREATE_REQ_BACK  ' & ' BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK  '  is implemented and in new BADI's
    " BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW " & " BBP_CREATE_BE_RQ_NEW " is implemented as well which in turn calls the Old BADI's.
In this situation, i would like to know the following,
    1. How the Shopping Cart data is transfered to Back end (R/3). Once we know this we can find whether Customer fields are getting transfered to Back end by Debugging.
    2. Is there any RFC or IDocs doing this transfer.
Your replies will certainly help in my further analysis.
    Best regards,
    Prabahar N.R

    Hi,
BAPI_PO_CREATE1 and BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE are used to create either PO or requisition in the backend in the classic scenario.
    Kind regards,

  • Upgrading 4.x CUCM and UC to 8.6

I need to upgrade a 4.x install of CUCM (pub and sub)  and UC the the newest release which is currently 8.6.
I understand that this would be a multi-step process.  I'm looking for a high level breakdown just so I can get the process straight as I'm a bit confused on the step-by-steps.
For instance, what should I upgrade first, pub or sub?
When I upgrade the pub/sub, can I do this during working hours and not worry about disrupting call flow?
How are the new CUCM servers introduced to the environment?
Is the upgrade process for UC similar?
    Etc.
I'm sure there are some who've done these types of upgrade before (unlike me) and am looking for a little guidance.
    Thanks!

This will be a very complex process which will need to be broken up into
a number of distinct steps Like you nicely noted the fist step for the

    PUT  (www.cisco.com/upgrade)
Fur CUC, you will have to let us know what exact version you are currently running. One good thing
about CUC is that any version 2.x or newer is compatible with any CUCM version 4.1(3) and
above. This means that the CUC portion of this project can be completed before or after the CUCM
portion and does not have to be done simultaneously.

  • New to SAP MDM

    Hey friends,
Can anyone of you please let me know the prerequsites for taking SAP MDM Trianing Course??
    Thanks in Advance
    Rinky.

I don't know which trainning course you are talking about, but I can tell you what you definitely need in order to get a good understanding of MDM:
    1) Basic SQL DBMS administration and knowledge, such as SQL Server, Oracle DB/2. You must know how to model tables, attributes, data types etc.
    2) Good understanding of Central Catalog Management, you could have background either on Requisite, SAP CCM or any other Catalog.
    3) It would be good if you knew other SAP components such as SAP XI, SAP ERP, SAP SRM, since MDM is a core component for those apps.
    I hope this helps

  • Migration pre-requisites for GR\IR clearing..

    Hi All,
My client wants to migrate the data in production after upgrading the EHP5, the pre-requisites to data migration GR\IR ACCOUNT SHOULD BE ZERO.
In production they have open Purchase orders, its not possible to close the Pos.
I am thinking to pass a JV against the GR\IR (F-02) and clear open items in the account (f-03)
After upgrade I reverse and reset the document (which was generated in f-03
Please suggest me to any alternative way to meet the requirement.

In case of migration , if there are opne GR then only GR / IR would come in to pictiure .
Open Po's dont have an impact on GR/IR account for migrating PO.
Are there any opne or uncleared GR ? if yes then you will have GR/IR account into picture .
Elaborate your question to comment further .
    Cheers ,

  • CCM 2.0 to SRM MDM 3.0 Migration

    Hi,
Currently we are using CCM 2.0 in SRM 5.0.
Now we are moving to SRM 7.0 along with SRM MDM 3.0.
IN CCM 2.0 , we have country wise catalogs.
SO we have aorund 30 catalogs for each country.
US user can see only US related catalogs.
Can we acheive same thing in SRM MDM 3.0 ? If so, please explain.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Venkatesh P

    Hi Venkatesh.
Yes. you can achieve this through various channels in SRM-MDM Catalog 3.0.
    1. Named Search: MDM provides a feature called named search which filters the records based on the specific search criteria.
In your case you can create a anamed search in the datamanager for each country and in the webservice definition you can pass the named search so that once the catalog is launched it will display the items corresponding to the country
    2. Additional Paramter: Let say you have the country names as a lookup in the repository. you can pass the country name as a additional parameter to the webservice definition to launch catalog for specific records.
Refer Note: 1389625. Also refer thread: SRM MDM Catalog 3.0 --- UI Search --- Filters

  • What kind of data migrate to CCM 5.0??

    Hi,
I´ve read many documents about Data Migration Assistant (DMA) and i have some doubts about it. In our company each telephone user handles speed dials, services associated to telephone and own book telephone. i`m completly sure that speed dials are migrated with DMA, but services and books telephone too???
I don´t know if when in cisco documentation says Call Manager data it´s refering to all kind of datas.
    thanks to all.

  • Upload value mapping - migration from Requisite

    Hi all,
We have some rules set up in Requisite that maps for example a category code provided by the supplier ot a material group code. Currenlty, I have been manually maintaining the value mapping in Import Manager. I am wondering whether there is a way to load the mappings (mainly the VALUE mapping) which we already have available in Requsition (exported may in excel or csv format)?
    Appreciate any help on that.
    Cheers!
    SF

    Hi SF
I dont think this is possible. for the first time you need to do the value mapping manually and save the map for the next uses.
A workyround can be to use conversion tables in XI/PI and convert the values before posting to MDM. this becomes more scalable as for any delta value conversions we need to add the netries in the conversion table instead of updating the import map.

  • Migrating from standalone ITS to internal ITS u0096 copy existing templates

    Dear Sirs,
I am in the process of migrating from Standalone ITS to the internal one. I have found several documents on the issue and the help section for the migration, http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/cd/8a424089ff2571e10000000a155106/content.htm
Currently I am using a standalone ITS server, 6.20 PL13, to access/run IAC components on ERP2004 server ZXY. In the new setup I wan to run the internal ITS on server ZXY instead.
I have however a question regarding the process. Step one in the process is to Copy the existing templates.
If I enter the transaction SE80, I am not able to see all of the IAC component names which are referenced in my portal iViews.  I therefore assume that the ones which does not show up, has not been converted properly.
I therefore go into transaction SIAC1 to look for them there (as described in ITS – New storage structures as of Web SAP AS 6.40, 678904), but I am however unable to find them there either.
Do I have to go the current ITS server and somehow copy the files/IAC manually (save on disk), and then upload then with SIAC_UPLOAD (from se38) onto the R/3 system. Or do they exist already on my R/3 system just that they aren’t shown?
Could a solution be that the name of the IAC component in the portal iview, differs from the name actually used in the R/3 system.
Any pointers or hints on this issue are appreciated.
    Best regards,
    Jørgen

    Deepak Sharma,
Thank you for your reply. But I have already published the services internally and actually have used the 'webgui' service successfully.  What I am trying to do now is to copy the custom services (there are only 2) to the integrated ITS from my standalone ITS server.

  • Error while cancelling a migrated PO

    Hello All,
We are trying to cancel a migrated PO. While cancelling, we are getting an error Document control failed due to error in [DOCMGR-CANCEL] with a return code of [OTHER].
I referred the note Master Note of Fixes for Error - Document control failed due to error in [DOCMGR-CANCEL] with a return code of [OTHER] (Doc ID 1482447.1)
As per point no 4 in this note I checked the PO Document Approval Manager.
    The Note says
*3.Verify the number of target processes should be equal to the number of running processors.*
which is equal in our case.
Also, in the Status column, you should see 'Activate concurrent Manager'. That means the manager is running or active.
In our case the Status column is blank. This is the only difference that I find in the resolution steps provided in the note.
Can this be the cause for our problem? Because we are not facing this issue for all the POs.
Thanks in advance for your help
