Requisition created from a production order

Hello,
We have requisitions created via maintenance orders (from the R/3 components PM Plant Maintenance and Service Management - iw32).
creation indicator (eban.estkz) is 6 for production order and item category on req is d for services.
After the requistion is created, I want to modify the delivery address in me52n, however it is grayed out.  I have tried to maintain the field selection in the img but, I do not see where the delivery address is suppressed for requistions.  I have looked both under requisition field selections and external services management field selections.
Has anyone else run into this issue?
Thanks for your help!
DF

Hi,
I have faced similar situation (changing PR quantity in ME52N) during creation of PR from Project Systems. In my opinion the PR which is automatically created in MM from other modules like PS, PP etc is ineditable in MM.
So I tried changing quantity in PS itself, which got reflected in PR.
Hope this helps.

  • Capacity Requirement From Released Production Order

    Hi PP Gurus,
Can i limit capacity requirement only from released production order ? I don't want to count requirement from production order that just created but not yet release.
    Regards,
    Arman Lie

    Dear Arman,
As a standard practice the system creates the capacityrequirements once the production order is created.
    Check this,
When a production order is created the following actions are carried out:
    ·        A routing is selected, its operations and sequences are transferred to the order
    ·        The bill of materials is exploded and the items in the bill of material are transferred to the order
    ·        Reservations are generated for bill of material items held in stock
    ·        The planned costs for the order are generated
    ·        The capacity requirements are generated for the work centers
    ·        Purchase requisitions are generated for non-stock items and externally-processed operations

  • Update Itemcost from the Production order.

    Hi Experts,
I have created a UDF(Amount) in the Production order rows, if iam entering the amount for the input item the Amount should get updated in the Itemcost of the Itemmaster data.. How to write the update statement? Is it possible to update the Average price of the item from the Production order using a UDF?
    Regards,
    Magesh.

    Magesh,
The Item cost of an Item is managed and calculated by SAP based on the different transactions.  You should not be updating this Cost using SQL UPDATE statements.
The times you generally change Item cost manually is when you are using Standard Cost and you want to set the Cost for the Item.  This is also possible only when there is no Quantities on Hand.

  • Reservation created from a PM Order needs to create an automatic TR

    Hello Experts !!
Needed your help much in a scenario where,
A reservation created from a PM Order needs to create an automatic Transfer Requirement (TR) in WM directly which can later be converted to TO.
(Please note that, I want to skip the GI part in IM with respect to reservation)
Kindly suggest if there is any standard configuration for the same.
Do batch jobs / user exit can only do it ??
    Regards,
    MC

If you don't want to wait until PM order confirmation, use batch program for MB26 to issue committed quantities.
Please note that MB26 will not handle serialized material issue.
    Thanks,

  • Purchase Requisition created from Maintenance Order can not deleted

    Hi Gurus,
I've create a Maintenance Order for External Service (Control Key: PM02) and Purchase Requisition already created related to this Maintenance Order.
But when I want to cancel/delete the Purchase Requisition, there is error message "This item is only deletable via the associated production order". So II can not delete the PR.
Any solution for this problem ?
    Regards,
    Tri W

    Hi,
If the PR has not been approved and no PO has been created yet, you have to delete the external service operation (PM02) in the work order. This should delete the Pruchase Requisitions.

  • Automatic purchase requisition created from routing needs to be have material no. information in it.

    Hello Experts,
There are some operations in my routing where external service , from an outside vendor shall be required.
We are doing this by using a particular control key PP02, for this routing, so that purchase requisition is created automatically, when the production order is created.
Through customization, I have also been able to make the setting so that instead of single, collective requisition gets  created for the entire order. The requisition that is getting created is a service requisition and can be later converted to a Purchase order.
Requirement :-  I need to enter material information in this requisition automatically. By material, I mean the material no. and preferably qty of the material,  which will have to be sent out to the external vendor for his services.
How can I achieve this, in SAP?
    Regards
    P.R

    Hello Caetano,
Right now we are not considering best practices , so not considering BADI implementation as such.
So far I have done the following:
I created a subcontracting purchasing info record for the material and a vendor.
Then, I have created a routing for the material and the operation which expects to go for external processing, I have used control key YBP2 (tried with PP02) in it.
I have assigned the subcontracting PIR under the external processing section of this operation in the routing.
My Production version combines the BOM and routing in the material master.
Now ,,when I try to create the production order, I get the following errors in succession:
Control key YBP2: Maintain external processing data
    Message no. CO558
    Diagnosis
The control key specifies that the operation is processed externally. However, not all data relevant to external processing has been maintained.
respond by entering the material group where the cursor is.
Then I get the following error.
Material class differs from material class  from info record
    Message no. 06354
    Diagnosis
The material class or material group of the info record differs from that of the item.
I checked in the material master and the material group there is same as the material group in the info record . Field name is MATKL.
What material class is it talking about?
I cannot get past this error and therefore cannot complete the order creation.

  • Purchase Requisition on creation of Production Order

    Dear Experts,
    Please clarify the following points
1 In our Business Scenario on creation of Production Order for a Material, Purchase Requisition is being created on creation of Production Order itself for all Dependent Materials where the items are declared as Non Stock items in BOM  and for the stock items only on MRP run the Purchase Requisitions are created. Is this the standard procedure, or can we customize to create the PRs for all the items on creation of Production Orders??
2 What exactly the processing indicator in MRP list indicate?
    Thank you,
    Regards,
    Ramakrishna

For Non Stock items it is understandable, that a PR has to be created with production order creation , as they are not in the stock.
For Stock items, the creation of PR cannot be linked with Production order creation but can be done with MRP run.
We can make the system create planned orders or Purchase requisitions or PR in opening period during MRP.
Processing indicator gives you the scope of PLanning.
PLanning all the materials within the Planning horizon  --NETPL
Plaqnning all the materials beyond also--NETCH
Deleting the current plan and recreating the plan.-regenarative PLannng

  • How to control Inspeciton generation from Process/ Production Order

    Hi SAP Gurus,
In our business place earlier we used to have Process order. The specific Process order type wouldn't generate any Lot.But once we switch to production order , we are getting inspection lot for New Production Order type.
The need is that for specific production order (which is not for main production), the system shouldn't generate 03, 04 type of inspection lot with many real process / production inspection tests.
For this purpose we  tried to limit the inspection type for Production order using Order type dependent parameter.
In that we assign new inspection type (other than 03 or 04 inspection types ). The new inspection type is attached with new Usage. And New usage has got its own Group counter with limited test.
So Group counter created with new usage. New usage used in new inspection type. And new inspection type tied with production order. With this we were able to limit for not having inspection lot of 03 inspection type for this production order.
But system generate the 04 type of inspection lot , though production order has got new inspection type attached with it.
Also the new setup 04 type of inspection lots in created mode.
How to make sure that system only generate the new inspection type inspection lots.
Advance Thanks for all the detail help steps.

    Hi
If you want to restrict quality inspection based on production order type, Its possible. Use exit QAAT0001. Take help from ABAPer, dont forget to set E_NO_INSPECTION based on the order type field there. VERY IMPORTANT: Put  E_TQ32 = I_TQ32 in the program, otherwise you will get error "Post stock in QM only"

  • Release strategy for PREQs created from PM work order

    Hi All,
I have an issue with determining  release strategy for purchase requisition for external services created via PM work order (iw31 transaction).
We have activated release strategy for Purchase requisition based on the following characteristics:
    CEBAN_PLANT
    CEBAN_COST_CENTER_GROUP
    CEBAN_MANUAL
Characteristic CEBAN_COST_CENTER_GROUP is defined via user exit based on the cost center used in the PREQ and a z table which contains all cost centers mapped to the corresponding  cost center goups.
In the user exit we have consider to cases:
The first one is when a purchase requisition is created with account assignment K (cost center) then system is checking the z table and determines the right cost center group.
The second case is when a purchase requisition is created with account assignment F (internal order) then based on the order type and number the cost center in the order is defined and based on it the corresponding entry in the z table cost center group is assigned.
The third case is when purchase requisition for services is created automatically from PM work order. In this case the PREQ is again with account assignment F, but at the time when user exit is checking the input parameters the real number of the work order does not exist and system can not defined the other parameters.
We have defined  for this requisitions in the release strategy for characteristic CEBAN_MANUAL creation indicator " F".
Has anybody of you defined release strategy for PREQs created out of work order before. How did you manage to trigger the release strategy?
    Best Regards,
    Desislava

    Hi,
For PM order find the costcenter in the settlement rule of the order or else find the costcenter in the Location tab of the order.
Consider this filed from order & write in the Z program to pick up the costcenter from there to find out the cost center group.

  • How create a new production order by C++ code?

    Hi everybady
I'm trying to create new production orders using a VC++ 6.0,
but as i can't put a new DocumentNumber "It's Read only",
i can't add a new orders. show me sample code  plz....
    help me....
    Thanks

    Hello
Docnum will be avaiable when you issed the Production order.
The method on each langugage is the same so hereby i am posting a VB.NET Code, and you can convert it.
    The mandartory fields:
ItemCode - you would like to produce
Qty - how many you would like to producce
After you issued the Production order, you must change the Status from planned to Released
of course, you can add more properties.....
    Dim oPO As SAPbobsCOM.ProductionOrders = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(BoObjectTypes.oProductionOrders)
            oPO.ItemNo = "ITEMCODE"
oPO.PlannedQuantity = "QTY TO BE CREATED"
            oPO.PostingDate = Today.Date
            oPO.ProductionOrderType = BoProductionOrderTypeEnum.bopotStandard
            If oPO.Add <> 0 Then
Dim POENTRY As String = oCompany.GetNewObjectKey()
                If oPO.GetByKey(CInt(POENTRY)) Then
                    oPO.ProductionOrderStatus = BoProductionOrderStatusEnum.boposReleased
                    ' Here you have a docnum like OPO.DocNum '
                    If oPO.Update() <> 0 Then
                        sbo_application.MessageBox(oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription)
                        Exit Sub
                    End If
                End If
            End If

  • Costing errors at the time of  creating and confirming production order

    Hi friends,
I'm in the process of setting up a controlling activity called assembly of a product (this assembly is final assembly or would result in the finished product, JOTRUCK).
The Issue that I'm facing is, the system is not capturing costs.
i.e., it is allowing the creation and confirmation of production orders, however with a warning message which says costing errors.
Steps that I've completed (from controlling end):
    1. defined primary cost elements
    2. defined secondary cost elements with category 43.
    3. defined a cost center.
    4. In OKB9 I've assigned a couple of cost elements.
Please notify if there are any more steps that I need to configure for getting the right results.
If you have any material possibly with screen shots, pls do forward the same to: [email protected]
    Regards
    Kim

    Hi,
I hope you have carried out the following activities:
    1. Carry out standard cost estimate for the materials involved.
    2. Check KKPAN to see the cost details of the product.
Need more details on the steps that you have carried out so far.

  • Error when creating IMG CO Production Order

    Hello experts,
In IMG I am trying to create new order type with Order category 4 (CO Production Order), however when using transaction KOT2_OPA
    Order type ZD00
    Order Category 4
    I get the following message
Enter values in work area for non-key fields
    Message no. SV174
I am using version 4.7 with Highest Support pack SAPKH47028
    Can anyone help
    Regards Debra

    hi,
By using the transaction KOT2_OPA (which is started in the IMG
during the Customizing of the internal orders) internal order types can
only be created (Order categories 01,02 and 03). With the order category 04 it concerns CO production orders; please maintain these by using the transaction KOT2 and/or above the Controlling IMG path -> Product Cost Controlling -> Cost Object Controlling -> Product Cost By Order -> manufacturing orders -> Check order types.

  • How to know the items cost from the production order.

    Dear friends,
When We close a production order, if we go to the summary tab we can see the total cost of the real component and cost of the real item.   My question is how to know the cost of every component used for the real product? I run the stock Audit  report, and there I see a field named Calcprice, in what table where can I find this field? to get the cost individual for each component in the moment i close the PO.
    Thanks a lot.
    Daniel

    Thanks a lot to everybody.
    You are right Thanga,
That is the data I need, but how can I get it via query because I dont find the field to know the cost in the exactly moment when is created the receipt of productiion.  I was trying to locate in tables IGN1 -- IGN12 but I dont get the cost field.
Do you have any idea how can I make a report?
