Resource type missing in NW04

Hi all,
I am trying to upload excel data in Web dynpro context in NW04.
I have used file upload UI element which has two important properties- FileName and data. We need to bind FileName with a context attribute of type
com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielmentdefinitions.Resource. But this type is not available in NW04 version.
In the following code, FileResource is the attribute which is of Resource type. Can someone suggest some way around, so that I do not depend on FileResource variable and still achieve the functionality.
InputStream text=null;
    int temp=0;
    try
       File file = new File(wdContext.currentContextElement().getFileResource().getResourceName().toString());
       FileOutputStream op = new FileOutputStream(file);
       if(wdContext.currentContextElement().getFileResource()!=null)
          text=wdContext.currentContextElement().getFileResource().read(false);
          while((temp=text.read())!=-1)
             op.write(temp);
       op.flush();
       op.close();
       path = file.getAbsolutePath();
       wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportSuccess(path);
    catch(Exception e)
       e.printStackTrace();
Any help on this is appreciated !!

Hi,
Your Question is not Very Clear..Please RePOST Your question again. KO03 T.code is for  -Order display. in this there is no FIELD ,  Resource Type .

Hope your issue gets resolved by the above Suggections, if not  Let me know your Exgect Questions

    Hello Akiva 1959,
    It sounds like you have made some purchases in iBooks, and when you try to download them you get this error message that the resource cannot be found. I would report this issue to our iTunes Store support directly with this article:

    To report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBooks Store purchase, follow these steps:
    Find the email receipt for your purchase.
    Click Report a Problem under the app that is having the issue.
    When prompted, enter the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the item, then click Report a Problem.
    Click Report a Problem next to the item you are having an issue with.
    From the Choose Problem dropdown menu, choose the appropriate issue.
    Follow the onscreen instructions and—if prompted—type a description of the problem into the text field.
    Click Submit to have your issue reviewed.

  • Re: Trying to install DW CS3 on new Mac, get this message:Startup error,Required resources are missing

    Hello,
    I am reading your thread here and I am having problems reinstalling CS3 after I did a migration from old iMac to new iMac (which rendered the installed CS3 unusable). I have "required resources are missing" error message when trying to reinstall from purchased CD. Please suggest how to help. thanks,

    Cyntlee33 the simplest option is to restore your new computer back to a clean install of Mac OS 10.7.  Then use the migration assistant again to move over only documents and settings.
    Your other option, which might end up expending a lot of additional time if it fails, would be to try using the CS5 cleaner tool to attempt to remove the files which were transferred over by the migration assistant.
    I would highly recommend the first option.  During my time with support some of the most difficult issues I have dealt with were from users who used some type of migration utility and then their software did not perform properly on the new computer.

  • Create Policy Resource Exception. Resource type must not be null

    OAM version: 11.1.1.5
    I have installed OAM 11g webgate but not able to register it from OAM admin console. It is throwing the error "Create Policy Resource Exception. Resource type must not be null" whenever I try to register the agent.
    Also I don't see any resource types like Http,Tokenservice and wl_Authen in Resource Type link of OAM Admin console.
    How to add these missing resource types in OAM 11g?
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi
    I didn't find solution for this issue. As I got this error in my VM machine, I reverted my snapshot to "After installing WLS" and then I installed and configured OAM again. This time I didn't get the issue.
    Good Luck.

  • When Resource Type switched, the properties lost.

    I have a Resource Type (say RT_A) that tie to a Property Structure (say PS_A) that have a custom Property Group (say PG_A) with a group of custom properties. Initially, I assigned a default Resource Type also has the PG_A, then I switched it to RT_A. After I switched it, the new PS_A pop out, but the all the custom properties in PG_A become empty (they are actually just display empty, as I verified the property values still there through RF Explorer).
    When I clicked "Save" on the new Property Struture, then the empty values override the old values. Now, I see all the property values become null when I checked from the RF Explorer.
    My question is:
    Why when I switch Resource Type (say RT_I - RT_A) of a document, the Properties in the same Property Group are not dispalyed even they are actually still exists?
    Thanks for advice.
    Kent

    Hi Kent,
    the technical reason for that is because the actual implementation makes no server round trip when you switch the resource types. The server round trip is done only when you initially open the details dialog and when you save the entries.
    In my opinion the missing possibility to switch between resource types (with reload of the property values) is an important missing feature (or gap) in the KM platform and I would strongly advise to open an OSS ticket for that.
    Hope this helps,
    Robert

  • Error: "failed to load book because the requested resource is missing"

    I book a book via the iPad. The book appeared in my library no problem with the "new" tag and stuff, but when I tap it to read I get an error "failed to load book because the requested resource is missing." Any ideas? I'm on the road, so I haven't synced or backed up or anything..
    I've also verified that I have a good connection, etc. I'm able to hit the "store" button and browse the store no prob, as well as web, etc.
    Any thoughts?

    I believe I may have the answer to these many concerns.
    When a book is over 20 or so megs, iBook will sometimes make an attempt to download on the iPad (when it should not). This causes problems. Perhaps the one you are experiencing. Therefore you have to wait until you are on a wifi connection before purchasing dictionary-like books. But if you've already made the mistake of downloading, theres no guarantee wifi will correct this.
    What worked for me (like others have already mentioned) is that if you have an iphone or touch you can download it from there, sync with your computer and sync your iPad later. The book(s) will transfer just fine as long as you have this enabled on your devices.
    Initially this didn't work for me because in my frustration with a prior issue I took the liberty to create another iTunes account. Therefore iPad purchases were not visible on my phone. So be sure to have the same accounts activated on your devices and iTunes.
    Yet even further diagnostics may need to be explored as I'm still prompted to provide my password every time i open iBooks (as if the download is still pending). Kinda afraid to revert to factory settings over a small issue. In the coming update Apple should fix these problems altogether. Hope this helps!

  • I have a book in my library but when I went open to continue to read "failed to load book because the requests resource is missing"?  Where is it.

    I have a book in my library but when I went open to continue to read "failed to load book because the requests resource is missing"?  Where is it.

    Swipe to the right from your home screen and do a search. See if the app shows up. If it does - tap on it just to make sure that it works.
    You can swipe from screen to screen to look for it in order to find the icon. It may have ended up on a far off screen or in a folder somewhere on the iPad.

  • OAM 10g  - custom resource type issue

    I've created a custom resource type, say, boolean with one operation: TRUE. Then I defined resources of type boolean in my domain: /folder, /folder/1
    and /folder/2. I created a policy that sets TRUE for resources /folder, /folder/*, and the rule is some LDAP query, like      ldap:///<my_suffix>??sub? (|(attr='A')(title='B')). Then when I run policy tester for a user (who I know has attribute I set in the LDAP query) and for example, resource /main/1, OAM tells me: policy name - correct name, rule - undefined, authorization - inconclusive. If anyone played with custom resource types, can you please advise? Why does it say "rule not found"?
    Thanks,
    -Alex

    Hi Alex,
    Doing the equivalent works for me - I suspect that it's a problem more with the resource syntax that the policy is protecting than with custom resource types. In my env I have:
    - Policy Domain protecting resource of type boolean, resource /folder1
    - Policy within the domain protecting url prefix /folder1, url pattern test/.../*, resource type boolean, resource operation TRUE
    - authorisation rule (used in the Authorisation Expression for the policy) ldap:///dc=example,dc=com??sub?(|(uid=bjensen)(givenName=*ba*))
    and the Access Tester shows the rule and expected results when testing url boolean:///folder1/test/whatever
    Are you using the /.../* syntax in your policy?

    Colin

  • What is the process of changing name of IT Resource Type without breaking..

    I need to change the name of an IT Resource Type and at the same time include additional fields. I also have existing IT Resources that are provisioned that are of the old name. What I thought I could do was to use the Design Console, bring up the IT Resource Type and simply rename it. I did that. Once I did the rename I checked my existing process form and the IT Resource Field Lookup now shows the new IT Resource Type name. Ok, so everything looks good.
    I now need to deploy this to other OIM systems. So, I exported out my IT Resource Type definition to one XML export file, and my Resource Object, Process Definition and PRocess Form and child forms to another XML export file.
    Before I imported the XML files into the other OIM system, I first ran the Design Console and renamed by IT Resource Type to the new name. Then I imported the XML containing the IT Resource Type definition and this worked. My IT Resource Type now has additional fields.
    However, when I tried to import the XML containing the Resource Object, Process Definition and Process forms, I get a dependency error that says it can't resolve the dependency on the old IT Resource Type name. Where did this come from? I checked the XML source, and sure enough it references the old IT Resource Type by name, but I can't figure out why it has that in there. But in any case, I manually edited the XML file and changed those references to the old IT Resource Type to the new name and tried to re-iimport that XML again. I still get the same dependency error.
    Now I am really confused since my XML import is not referencing the old IT Resource type name any more, so where is this dependency coming from?
    Does anyone have any ideas on this one?
    -Dave Herrmann

    You can do it with CSS disjointed rollovers like this:
    http://alt-web.com/DEMOS/CSS-Image-Viewer.shtml
    Or using a Modal Window script like this:
    http://alt-web.com/GALLERY/Photo_Gallery.html
    Or log-in to Adobe Exchange with your Widget Browser and grab the jQ Zoom widget (free).

  • My iBooks will not open, I receive a message that states: "Failed to load book because t he requested resource is missing." How can this be repaired/resolved?

    My iBooks will not open, I receive a message that states: "Failed to load book because the requested resource is missing." How can this be repaired/resolved?

    If you can't open a particular ibook then try deleting it from the bookshelf via the Edit button at the top right of the bookshelf, and (assuming that it's still in your country's store) redownload it via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the app (or if you have a copy of it on your computer's iTunes library sync it back from there).

  • My iBooks were fine yesterday,today unable to read, message comes up; failure to load book because requested resource is missing".  What do they want?

    My iBooks were fine yesterday, today unable to get into book, message comes up, "failure to load book because requested resource missing"
    It doesn't tell me what resource is missing, &amp; why could I read this 12 hours ago fine.

    I've got a solution, it's not so perfect, but i bet someone would come out with a better one based on mine.
    Solution:
    Step 1: close iBooks app and delete all existing book data
    Since I have recently lost all files in my ibooks library due to something wrong with Time Machine backup, I could delete all my book data without anything to worry about.
    I deleted all files in:
    /Users/[usename]/Library/Containers/com.apple.BKAgentService/Data/Documents/iBoo ks
    and the iBook configuration files (well, the whole folder):
    /Users/zlw/Library/Containers/com.apple.iBooksX
    It doesn't matter if you have deleted the whole iBooksX folder, what you would lose at most is the bookmark data, etc.
    deleting all the files inside the iBooks folder of BKAgentService will enable you to redownload the file that you want correctly.
    Step 2:
    reopen iBooks and you will be able to download the book that you want.
    Possible improvement:
    there is a Books.plist file in the iBooks folder of BKAgentService, it might be possible to modify the plist and and the folders so that it's not necessary to delete them all.
