I`VE HP G62 WHEN I BOUGHT IT I`VE MADE THE RECOVERY DVD AND IT IS WITH ME NOW I DID UPGRADE MY OS FROM HOME BASIC TO PROFESSIONAL AND I NEED TO RESTOREN IT TO FACTORY SETTINGI DID F11 DOES NOT WORK AND I BOOT IT FROM RECOVERY DVD DOES NOT WORK(MESSAGE SAYING THAT THIS DVD IS NOT SUTABLE FROM THIS PC)? WHAT CAN I DO PLEASE?

Its called Activation Lock. Take the phone to Sprint and explain your problem. It is their fault and responsibility to properly reset used phones.

Lion installs both itself and a Recovery HD. Booting the latter is how you reinstall Lion or fix things with Disk Utility. So, what you can do is this:
Install or Reinstall Lion from Scratch
If possible backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive.
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Erase the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Install button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.
Now, this will completely erase the volume in which Lion is currently installed. When you then reinstall Lion it will be like coming fresh from the factory ready for a new user. I hope this is a working solution for your problem. If it is not, then I would encourage you to create a new topic more relevant to your needs which will solicit others to offer help. Okay, another iCloud question. What I did was basically delete a game, start a new one, and now I want my old game back (saved to ICloud). What happens when I restore full data to a non-factory set iPhone? Will it overwrite current data? Will it delete everything? I just want to know, I'm such an iOS noob. :-/

A restore is all or nothing.
If a backup is restored to the device, ALL data currently on the device is wiped and replaced with the data from the backup.
Restoring a backup to get one saved game back seems rather extreme and silly.

not sure if that model has a recovery partition on the hdd but you can try it. when you boot the laptop hold down the zero key(top row above p). then select restore to factory out of box. if this doesnt work you can order a set of dvds from toshiba for $25. 1(800)457-7777

Not good that is the usually key to start System Factory Partition factory recovery. Did you try F8 to boot to safemode with networking to see if you can get to your desktop? Otherwise you might have to Order the Factory REcovery media from HP if they still have it to restore your system back to factory install. See the first link..

You have F9 that changes your boot options but if you don't have the recovery discs this won't work....but you can use this key after you get your Factory REcovery media then boot of the disk to restore your system O/S.

From what iPod's conclusion was and from your symptons after iPod's repair attempt, it sounds like it was dropped and the hard drive is damaged. The hard drive would likely cause iTunes to freeze because part of the iPod still is working but the hard drive is not and it's causing iTunes to not know what to do. Same reason why it won't reset. You can bring it to Best Buy for a COD estimate + repair. I believe it's $34.95 non-refundable deposit to send it to a Best Buy Service Center. If you approve the estimate, the $34.95 would be applied to that total. If you deny the estimate, the $34.95 would be kept by Best Buy to cover shipping and diagnostic charges.
The hard drive and labor probably wouldn't be that bad. Since the warranty is VOID, you might consider purchasing an iPod hard drive off the internet (Use Google and your specific iPod model) and then research how to replace it if you prefer not having us repair it for you.

since you are running mt lion on the mac you can boot to the recovery partition (restart holding down command+R keys)
once booted there open the disk utility window and then on left side select the mac HD select the erase tab and make sure that next to format it says "mac OS extended journaled"
click on the erase button
once done close the disk utility window then click on the option to "install mac OS" and follow the prompts
once the install is completed and the mac is restarted it will be like new and the setup assistant will open on startup

I having trouble when i try to restore my laptop to factory setting, it tells me the Bootmanager is missing, this also happens with system restore.
It very slow, and restoring it to factory worked once upon a time, and my laptop was great after that.
I dont use it now as my main laptop, i have an Asus Transformer with windows 8.1, but its having its health check so im stuck with out it.
I rememberd my HP laptop, but forgot about its problem untill i started using it, and i still cant restore it to factory and still get "bootmanager " missing.
Please help, im disabled and rely on my laptop for shopping etc.
