Restrict Access and Multiple Upload with Insert

I continue to have problems with using Restrict Access to Folder with Multiple Upload with Insert. When the restrict access is enabled the uploader does not work, when it's removed it works. Any ideas?

I've found that if I have a page that displays the kt_login_id, login and then go to that page it doesn't display the login ID. Then if I add the multiple image uploader w/ DB insert and reload the page the login ID is displayed and the uploader works, however, if I set an uploader field to the login ID it inserts and uploads everything but the login id. I thought this might have to do with the fact the the 'Restrict Access to Page' is not on the page yet. When I add it the uploader and insert stops working. I've placed the 'Restrict Access to Page' code in every possible place in the code (above the head) and the only place where the uploader/insert works is when the resrtict code is after the uploader code. But then again the login id does not get inserted. Please someone help.

When you updated your iPhone 4S and iPad3 to iOS6, what exactly do you mean when you can't access the iTunes store? Have you checked your connection to the network?

Need to restrict access to multiple servlet applications on same box

I have deployed two separate servlet applications to the same IAS. I need
to restrict access to each application - that is requests from one source
should only have access to one application and not the other. The web
server we are using is IIS.
Should I create a separate IAS to deploy the second application to? Can I
restrict based on IP - that is port 80 is reserved to application 1 while
port 81 is restricted to application 2? If so, how do I go about this? It
appears that the web connector only receives on one port (default 80).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I see. So do you mean that I can override the port number in the proxy startup script itself? I can try doing that and see if it works fine.
About Coherence 3.7, yes. I did see that it has some cool features about proxy discovery. But at this point I am stuck at using 3.6 and 3.6.1.

Restrict Access and Viewing of Individual subfolders within a Share

I'm looking around for the simplest solution and not quite arriving at what I'm looking for. I'm moving our files over from Windows Server 2003 to 2012 and it's both simpler and more confusing for me.I understand that sharing and permissions are different, what I don't get is how to prevent sharing on a sub-folder - I can block some permissions, but not all without "too" much work.Basically here's our file structure:CompanySharedFolder (All Employees - read/write access)

Security roles are additive. if all users are in the default roles, which are not queue scoped, they will have that access PLUS what ever other access you define. In this case, they will have Incident Resolver to all work items PLUS incident resolver to
all work items in the queues you select.
you'll need to work backwards on this. Create a queue for all incidents that DON'T match your security filter. (i.e. an "everything else" queue) and put this into a new role. remove all users from all roles and only add them to the new Everything
Else Incident Resolvers.
Essentially, public access work items would be in a public access queue, and "secured" work items would only be visible to people in the default roles, or people who were specifically given access to that secured queue.
Of course, you're still going to run into the the problem that new work items don't exist in ANY queue until the Group Calc process runs and stamps them. the default time for this is 30 seconds, so if an analyst creates a work item, they won't be able to
see their own creation until up to 30 seconds after the first save.

Is there a way to disable/restrict access to Help Restart with Add-ons Disabled or just to Help altogether?

I have students who use Help>Restart with Add-ons Disabled to disable add-ons, reset things, and go into Safe Mode. I'd like to be able to disable their ability to do so. Is this possible? I am also using a product called Fortres 101, which is a file security application. I can use it to limit file access to read only or even no access. If there are certain files that Firefox uses to allow access to these options, then maybe I can use these file names and make them read only or no access.

Note that you would only have to hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox to start in Safe Mode.
Any restriction added via an extension can easily be bypassed by knowledgeable users.

Synchronize multiple tasks and multiple boards with X-series USB devices

Hi all,
I am trying to figure out how to synchronize multiple tasks across multiple X-series USB boards (6353, to be precise).
I have to run a digital output task AND an analog output task on each board. All four tasks (the DO and AO on Board 1, and the DO and AO on Board 2) must be synchronized.
I know how to synchronize multiple tasks on a single board. I've been doing that for years. That works fine.
I know how to synchronize a single task across multiple boards (say, a DO task across 2 different boards). That works fine too.
For the life of me, I can't figure out how to marry the two. Everything I've seen, all of the examples, etc. assume you want to do one or the other, or that you have a RTSI cable available. Are there any examples out there that synchronize multiple tasks across multiple USB boards?
I tried exporting the AO clock signal from my master AO task to PFI12, and then using the signal on PFI12 to as the clock source for the remaining tasks (Dev1/PFI12 physically connected to Dev2/PFI12, and Dev1/PFI12 set as the clock source for Dev1's DO task).
I have also tried setting Dev1/aoSampClock as the source for Dev1's DO task.
Under both configurations, I invariably get error -89137 when I try to start the tasks -- required resources (PFI12) in use by Dev1/do/SampClock. I understand what the error is telling me. What I don't understand is why I'm receiving this error when I don't have any of my tasks configured to use the DO Sample Clock. It seems as though it is not possible to export a clock signal to a PFI line and simultaneously run a clocked digital task, even if the clock source for that task is specified as something other than the DO Sample Clock?
So, my question is, is it possible to do what I want to do? And if so, how do I do it? How do I configure a common clock source across multiple tasks running on multiple USB boards?
Hoping for insight from those wiser than I...

Update: I decided to try using a counter as the source clock. One cannot use counter 0 to accomplish this, but it does appear to work with counter 1.
I'll take what I can get. Fortunately I have two spare counters. (Yes, I'm running counter tasks too -- 6 of them -- but they don't have to be synchronized.)
I have to add both digital and analog input tasks as well -- all synchronous with each other, but not with the output tasks since they'll be running at different sample rates. I hope I'm able to use a counter as the source clock for those as well.
My head aches.

I would like to ask a question about correlation.I am trying to spawn "n" processes (Process B) from a master process(Process A), and than collect the responses from these instances.I have an array as an input to Process A, and have a flowN activity.In this activity,I simply perform an assign(to assign the varible in the array by an index, to the input variable of invoke), an invoke and a receive activities.
I have added correlation to the invoke as initiate correlation, and I added the same set to the receive activity.When I run the sample, unfortunately I get "Cannot initiate a correlation set more than once." error and the process is cancelled.In fact, the values for each array iteration is different, so I would expect to initiate n correlations for my waiting receive activities.
Am I doing something wrong or isn't that the way it has to be done?

No, I have inserted a scope into flowN sequence and defined a scope variable to use.From the audit trail, I can see I have successfully assigned the array variable to the scope variable.For an input of 2 list elements,the first flowN branch is successfully completed but the second branch has a faulted invoke with the message:
"Cannot initiate a correlation set more than once."
If I remove the correlation sets from the invoke and receive and leave the correlation to BPEL Engine, I get the following message:
Conflicting receive.
Another receive activity or equivalent (currently, onMessage branch in a pick activity) has already been enabled with the partnerLink "CalleeProcess", operation name "onResult" and correlation set "" (or conversation id). Appendix A - Standard Faults in the BPEL 1.1 specification specifies a fault should be thrown under these conditions.

No you cant do that. You must do one at a time. Take a look
at the
FileReference and FileReferenceList documentation for the
upload() method. Partial quote:
Listeners receive events to indicate the progress, success,
or failure of the upload. Although you can use the
FileReferenceList object to let users select multiple files for
upload, you must upload the files one by one; to do so, iterate
through the FileReferenceList.fileList array of FileReference

Hi guys I need to restrict access to the settings with a passcode but also need passcode for the screen lock due to MS Exchange. Can these codes be different?

We are introducing iPhonse into the business but have a question regarding security. We need to restrict user access to the settings on the iphone probably via a passcode. We also need the user to have access to their emails (which when using exchange enforces a passcode). Is this the same passcode that is used for both by default? Because if it is then by allowing the user access to their emails they would by default have access to the code that allows them to change the settings of the iphone?
Does anyone have any knowledge of this or how I can achieve something similar.

Airport Extreme and Multiple Expresses with iTunes

I have an airport extreme base station running a bgn network and six airport expresses connected (three wired and three wireless) to stereo systems throughout the house. They seem to stumble all over themselves with an IP address distribution or something that makes them cut in and out after playing for about 20 minutes. I've tried assigning IP addresses but it doesn't seem to work. I'm guessing that one of the wireless expresses loses signal for a second and that causes all the issues. Any thoughts?

So the airport extreme is setup and the wireless is going. But when I hook up the airport express, I've plugged it in and when I use airport utility through the desktop which is hardwired connected to the airport extreme, the express does not show up the devices list.
Can somebody explain to me how the airport express is used to boost the signal of the airport extreme using airport utility within windows vista? thanks!

Text elements and key figures with multiple restrictions

I'd like to display text elements in my query according to the restricted key figures in it. There is a restricted key figure used multiple times with different base of restriction. (For exmple Sales in the past week and yesterday.)
KF restricted by <i>actual calendar week</i>, and
KF restricted by <i>actual calendar day</i>
When displaying text elements, only calendar week appears, however, if KF restricted by calendar week is removed from the query, calendar day is being displayed. (I suppose that both time characteristics are taken as filter values.)
Is that possible to display both filter values at once? Or at least calendar day meanwhile still having the week-based restriction in the query?

One option would be to not use the *MVAL keyword and load the amount and quantity in separate Data Manager package imports wherby you can easily assign the NA to the appropriate dimension. When you import amount -- assign NA to P_UNIT and when you import quantity -- assign NA to P_CURRENCY.
However I suppose you would prefer to have one import process. Unfortunately I think you will have to find an ABAP custom solution by calling the END_Routine BADI from the transformation file to deal with the currency and unit dimensions.

This is so our guests cannot tamper or disable the device. We are already using Apple Configurator but their does not seem to be a way to lock down settings without a PIN.

1. Go to your Webserver instance ServerManager
2. Click Preferences Tab ------> Encryption Preference
------> There disable "DES with 56 bit
encryption and MD5 message authentication."
for SSL 2.0 ciphers or SSL3.0 Ciphers. Which ever
needed.
3. Save and Restart the Webserver instance.
The above steps are for 4.x version.
