Restrict time value in calendar

Hi..
How to display the calendar value without time
When I select the date in calendar it displayed without time but when I hit the go button the time value is added in the prompt values.
How to achieve it?

Thanks Goran,
Now its working...
but when I set the current date as default value it shows the date in following format in a dashboard
yyyy-MM-yy (At first time only when I select any date and hit go button , MM/dd/yyyy format is used)
I am using following code in default to -> Sql results
select case 1=0 then line.date else current_date end from GM
here line.date is date datatype
I have tried your to_char function as follows
select case when 1=0 then cast(line.date as char) else evaluate('to_char(%1%2)' as varchar(20),current_date,'mm/dd/yyyy') end from GM
I got the following error

    Hi all,
    since a few days I am not able to restrict time characteristics in queries on a particular Multiporvider. I can restrict the time chars with variables but not with fixed values.
    I am getting the following error:
    Reading Characteristic Values -> Programm Error in class SAPMSSY1 -> Uncaught exception.
    The problem exists only on one particular multi provider, but when checking the MP it indicates no errors.
    Anyone experienced something similiar? I am appreciating your help.
    Thomas

    actually it is a problem associated with SAP GUI 7.0.
    A solution to this problem is
    Just replace the file wdbspres.dll with in the following location
    C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SapGui.
    You can search for this file on google and download it.
    we also had faced this problem earlier...but after replacing the wdbspres.dll...it worked..
    i hope this helps you.
    pls assign points if this answer is of some help

    That would be so nice of you....:-)
    and regarding your next requirement, You should create a new table which will contain Date, Worker Number and any other details that you want.
    In the form, for every date for which you want to enter the data, you will select the max(date) before the current date and maximum worker number for that selected date and then from that number you can select next 15/20 workers or whatever your number is.
    e.g. for the first time if you want to enter data for 01-jul-2010 and you have work for 15 workers, you will select max(date) where date<01-jul-2010, but you will not find any bcoz this is your first entry. So wat you will do is will start popupating your grid from number 1-15.
    Next day you will select max(date) where date<02-jul-2010, you will find 01-jul-2010. Then you will select max(number) for 01-jul-2010, you will find 15. So populate your grid from number 16-30 (whatever your number is). and so on.
    Hope it helps you...
    Please mark my answer Helpful or correct and Please create a new thread for new question

  • What you wanted to know about Time values

    Hello
    I tried to gather in a single document the useful infos about the use of time values in Numbers.
    I must thanks pw1840 which checked the English syntax.
    Here is the text only document.
    Files with the sample tables are available on my iDisk:

    *STORED DATE-TIME VALUES - BASICS*
    Numbers clearly states that it stores date-time values, no less no more. This means these values consist of two parts: a date and a time. It is important to note that both parts are present even if only one of them is displayed.
    When we type the time portion only, it includes the current date even though it may not be displayed.
    But when we apply the formula: =TIME(0,0,ROUND(TIMEVALUE(B)24*6060,0)), we get a date-time value whose numerical value of the date portion is 0. This means, in AppleLand, 1 janvier 1904. Such a date-time allows us to make correct calculations, but there are two true drawbacks:
    1) Since TIMEVALUE() returns a decimal number, when we calculate the corresponding number of seconds we MUST use the ROUND() function. While calculations with decimal numbers give the wanted value, they may not be exact and be off by + or - epsilon. And
    2) The structure of Numbers date-time values is such that the time part is always in the range 0:00:00 thru 23:59:59.
    There is also a detail which seems annoying to some users. The minimal time unit is the second because time values are in fact a pseudo string representing the number of seconds between the date-time and the base date-time, 1 janvier 1904 00:00:00.

    *TIMEVALUE() FUNCTION*
    When Numbers Help states that the TIMEVALUE() function "converts a date, a time, or a text string to a decimal fraction of a 24-hour day.", it means that the operand for the function TIMEVALUE() may be something like:
    31/12/1943, 31 décembre 1943, or 31 déc. 1943 described as a date;
    1:12:36 or 1:12 described as time; or
    31/12/1943 23:59:59 described as a text string.
    The date may also be 31/12/43 but here the program must guess the century. According to the rule, this one will be 31/12/2043 (yes, I am very young).
    All of this is not exactly what we are accustomed to but it is perfectly logical as described. My guess is that those who don't understand are simply clinging to old habits and are reluctant to adopt an unfamiliar approach .

    *ELAPSED TIME (DURATION)*
    Given a table whose 1st row is a header, I will assume that column B stores starting-time values and column C stores ending-time values. Both do not display the date component of the date-time values. We may get the difference in column D with the formula:
    =IF(OR(ISBLANK(B),ISBLANK(C)),"",TIMEVALUE(C)-TIMEVALUE(B))
    which returns the elapsed time as the decimal part of the day.
    We immediately encounter a problem. If ending-time is the day after the starting-day, the result will be negative. So it would be useful to revise the formula this way:
    =IF(OR(ISBLANK(B),ISBLANK(C)),"",IF(TIMEVALUE(C)>TIMEVALUE(B),0,1)+TIMEVALUE(C) -TIMEVALUE(B))
    But some of us may wish to see results in the traditional format which may be achieved using:
    =IF(OR(ISBLANK(B),ISBLANK(C)),"",TIME(0,0,ROUND((IF(TIMEVALUE(C)>TIMEVALUE(B),0 ,1)+TIMEVALUE(C)-TIMEVALUE(B))24*6060,0)))
    -+-+-+-+-
    *DURATION SUMS > or = 24 HOURS*
    In the examples above, we always assumed that the durations where smaller than 24 hours because Numbers states clearly in the Help and the PDF Users Guide that time values are restricted to the range 00:00:0 to 23:59:59. For longer durations we must fool Numbers.
    First problem: we are adding several time durations. Each duration is in the authorized range and the result is greater than 24 hours.
    As before, starting-time values are in column B, ending-time ones are in column C, and the elapsed time value is in column D. The formula is:
    =IF(OR(ISBLANK(B),ISBLANK(C)),"",IF(TIMEVALUE(C)>TIMEVALUE(B),0,1)+TIMEVALUE(C) -TIMEVALUE(B))
    in column E, the formula for the cumulative elapsed time value is:
    =SUM($D$2:D2)
    in column F, converting to time format, the formula is:
    =TIME(0,0,ROUND(MOD(E,1)24*6060,0))
    in column G, the formula for showing more than 24 hours in the day/hour/minute format is:
    =IF(E<1,"",INT(E)&IF(E<2," day "," days "))&F
    in column H, expressing total elapsed time in total hours using the traditional time format, the formula is:
    =IF(E<1,F,INT(E)*24+LEFT(F,LEN(F)-6)&RIGHT(F,6))
    in column I, expressing total elapsed time in total hours using the traditional time format, an alternate formula is:
    =IF(E<1,F,INT(E)*24+HOUR(F)&":"&RIGHT("00"&MINUTE(F),2)&":"&RIGHT("00"&SECOND(F ),2))
    Of course the user would choose the format used in column G or the one in column I for his table. There is no need to keep all of them. It would be fine to hide column F whose contents are auxiliary.
    Second problem: individual durations may be greater than 23:59:59 hours.
    Again, column B is used to store starting date-time, column C stores ending date-time, and durations are calculated in column D. Since B and C are storing full date-time values, we may use this simple formula to find the duration:
    =C-B
    in column E, the time portion of the duration given in time format is:
    =TIME(0,0,ROUND(MOD(D,1)24*6060,0))
    in column F the formula to show the duration as days/hours/minutes is:
    =IF(D<1,"",INT(D)&IF(D<2," day "," day(s "))&E
    in column G we give the elapsed time in total hours using a time format. The formula is:
    =IF(D<1,E,INT(D)*24+LEFT(E,LEN(E)-6)&RIGHT(E,6))
    in column H we give the elapsed time in total hours using a time format. An alternate formula is:
    =IF(D<1,E,INT(D)*24+HOUR(E)&":"&RIGHT("00"&MINUTE(E),2)&":"&RIGHT("00"&SECOND(E ),2))
    If the duration is greater than 24 hours, the results in columns E and F are not a time value but a string. So the value in column D (which is time duration only) is useful.

    *PROBLEM WITH ENTERING TIME*
    When you wish to enter 12:34 but 12 is the number of minutes, remember that Numbers will decipher this as 12 hours and 34 minutes. Simple tip:
    Assuming that your original entry is in column B, then in column C use this formula to align the minutes and seconds for proper Numbers interpretation:
    =IF(ISERROR(TIME(0,LEFT(B,SEARCH(":",B)-1),RIGHT(B,LEN(B)-SEARCH(":",B)))),"",T IME(0,LEFT(B,SEARCH(":",B)-1),RIGHT(B,LEN(B)-SEARCH(":",B))))
    -+-+-+-
    *MISCELLANEOUS NOTES*
    • Of course, the addition of two dates and multiplication or a division applied to one date means nothing and would generate the red triangle announcing a syntax error.
    • We may add a time value to a date-time: If B contains a date-time and C contains a time, the following formula will return the sum of the two values:
    =B+TIMEVALUE(C)
    • We may strip the time value of a full date-time one with the formula: =DATE(YEAR(B),MONTH(B),DAY(B))
    • Just as a reminder,
    =EDATE(B, 3) adds 3 months to the pure date stored in B
    so, of course,
    =EDATE(B, 12) adds one year to the pure date stored in B
    • If B and C store date-time values,
    =C-B returns the difference in decimal days.
    =DATEDIF(B,C,"D") returns the number of days between the two pure dates. It's identical to =DATE(YEAR(C),MONTH(C),DAY(C))-DATE(YEAR(B),MONTH(B),DAY(B))
    =DATEDIF(B,C,"M") returns the number of months between the two pure dates.
    =DATEDIF(B,C,"Y") returns the number of years between the two pure dates.
    Three other variants are available which use the parameters "MD","YM" and "YD".

    This is not exactly true. Numbers files store date-time values in a string format consistent with ISO 8601:2004. This format explicitly includes year, month, day, hour, minute, & second values.
    This may be verified by examining the uncompressed index.xml file in a Numbers package. For example, the first day of 1904 is stored as cell-date="1904-01-01T00:00:00+0000" & of the year 0001 as cell-date="0001-01-01T00:00:00+0000." This format is not a numeric value of seconds from a base date-time, often referred to as a "serial time" format, that is used in applications like AppleWorks (or Excel?).
    Note that the time value (all that follows the "T" in the string) actually has four components, the last one (following the plus) representing the time zone offset from UTC time in minutes. AFAIK, Numbers does not set this to anything besides "+0000" but interestingly, it will attempt to interpret it if set by manually editing the file. For example, change cell-date="1904-01-01T00:00:00+0000" to cell-date="1904-01-01T00:00:00+0120" & the cell will display the last day of December of 1903 as the date, but will still show the time as 00:00:00. This suggests a future version of Numbers might be time zone aware, but currently it is unreliable & not fully implemented.
    Anyway, Numbers does not use the first day of 1904 as a reference for stored date-time values, although it will add that date to "dateless" time values imported from AppleWorks spreadsheets. Although I have not verified this, I believe it will also seamlessly translate between ISO & serial time formats as needed for Excel imports & exports, using the first day of 1900 as needed.
    Some other things to note about the ISO standard:
    • It permits fractional time values in the smallest time unit present, so for example "T10:15:30" could be represented as "T10:15.5" but Numbers does not support this -- the cell will appear empty if the index file is manually edited this way.
    • It does not stipulate whether date-time values represent intervals or durations (although it includes an explicit format for intervals between any two date-time values, known as a period). This means a future version of Numbers could support durations without the addition of a new data storage type, but legacy & import/export issues could make this too impractical to implement.
    • It supports a variety of other formats, including date-only, time-only, day-of-year, week-of-year, & various truncations (just hours & minutes, for example). All are unambiguous so a future version of Numbers could support them, but files generated with those versions would not be backwards compatible with the current version.
    For completeness, I will add that instead of using complex formulas to manipulate single-cell date-time values in Numbers, it is sometimes more straightforward to use multiple cells, one for each unit of time (for example, days, hours, minutes, & seconds), plus simple arithmetic formulas to combine them. Since each unit is a simple number, this results in highly portable, accurate, & "future-proof" tables, especially for durations. This is particularly useful for multimedia work in which the units might include video or film frames or audio samples.

  • Convert millisecond time value to date

    If i have a millisecond time value, say long timeValue, how do I convert this value to a time and a date?

    Or directly set a new date using the constructor
    Date(long date)
    Allocates a Date object and initializes it to represent the specified number of milliseconds since the standard base time known as "the epoch", namely January 1, 1970, 00:00:00 GMT.
    N.B. - Note that the Date class method to set a date from a long is:
    setTime(long time)
    Sets this Date object to represent a point in time that is time milliseconds after January 1, 1970 00:00:00 GMT.
    setTimeInMillis() is a Calendar method , only.

  • OID filter to restrict ocs user in calendar, files, mail

    We are trying to setup some filter in OID in order to restrict some search screen and list of value in calendar, mail and files so that our users doesn't see the users under another subtree of OID.
    We have the following in OID:
    orcldefaultsubscriber: dc=sric,dc=ca
    orclcommonusersearchbase: cn=users, dc=sric,dc=ca
    Under this Common User Searchbase we have about 50 different organization under which the end user of our services are located.
    We want to restrict the users of one organization to his particular organization. So that he cannot see the users of the others organizations.
    For example, in mail, when the user open a new mail and use the address book.
    The user shouldn't see all the user of dc=sric,dc=ca but instead be limited to the user under cn=his organization,cn=Users,dc=sric,dc=ca.
    We currently have OID filter in place to restrict the user of Portal.
    These filter are working fine. Trying to duplicate this functionality for calendar, mail and files.
    Any hints ?

  • Problem Fixed Laed time value is disappearing.

    Hi,
    I am working in Oracle APPS. 11.0.3 version. In that i am facing the problem with fixed lead time . When i am running the below request
    Bill of Material>Routings>Lead time>Org>Single Request
    “Rollup Cumulative Lead Time GUI”
    The fixed lead time value disappearing for the items, what ever i manually entered the value in this field.
    In this what my thinking is Fixed leadtime is automatically entered if you do the Leadtime Rollup. If you manually enter the fixed leadtime, it will be over- written whenever someone does a leadtime rollup.
    But is it correct or not i don't know . If it is correct could you please help me why it is.

    If somebody is still struggling with this one... The same long value can be different date in JDK 1.3 and JDK 1.4 even if locale stays the same. When I run JDK 1.3 the following...
    long longDate = Long.parseLong("328654800000");
    java.util.Date date = new java.util.Date(longDate);
    System.out.println("Date value : " + date.getTime());
    System.out.println("Date string: " + date.toString());
    System.out.println(java.util.TimeZone.getDefault().toString());
    .. prints out :
    Date value : 328654800000
    Date string: Sun Jun 01 00:00:00 EEST 1980
    java.util.SimpleTimeZone[id=Europe/Helsinki,offset=7200000,dstSavings=3600000,useDaylight=true,startYear=0,startMode=2,startMonth=2,startDay=-1,startDayOfWeek=1,startTime=3600000,startTimeMode=2,endMode=2,endMonth=9,endDay=-1,endDayOfWeek=1,endTime=3600000,endTimeMode=2]
    With JDK 1.4 I get:
    Date value : 328654800000
    Date string: Sat May 31 23:00:00 EET 1980
    sun.util.calendar.ZoneInfo[id="Europe/Helsinki",offset=7200000,dstSavings=3600000,useDaylight=true,transitions=118,lastRule=java.util.SimpleTimeZone[id=Europe/Helsinki,offset=7200000,dstSavings=3600000,useDaylight=true,startYear=0,startMode=2,startMonth=2,startDay=-1,startDayOfWeek=1,startTime=3600000,startTimeMode=2,endMode=2,endMonth=9,endDay=-1,endDayOfWeek=1,endTime=3600000,endTimeMode=2]]
    .. so the date is one hour earlier. I think this has something to do with JDK 1.3 not implementing all the daylight changes correctly in the past (at least in my time zone).
    This can be hell of a problem when running client and server with different JVM versions. The day of the Date object changes when it is passed from client to server (and vica versa).

  • Using COUNTIF on time values in pop-up menu (employee schedule template)

    I have modified the Numbers employee schedule template to my liking and it works very well. I would like to add a column to the beginning which shows, at a glance, how many people I have scheduled for AM shifts and PM shifts on a given day. My AM shifts start at 9:00 AM and my PM shifts end at 6:30 or 8:30 PM.
    So I thought I could use COUNTIF, but after I set the array, I cannot get the condition right to return anything except "0". How do you make it detect the appropriate times? The times in each cell for In and Out times are selected using a pop-up menu, just like the template.
    Here is what I tried: =COUNTIF(E3:AE3,"9:00 AM")
    What should the condition be to return a proper count?

    ac,
    You shouldn't feel badly about having trouble with this template. It is a rather tricky one. The values in the Pop-Up menus are Date/Time values. That is to say, they have year, month, day, hour and minute components, even if only the hours and minutes are displayed. So if you only compare to the hours and minutes, you will never get a match.
    I don't know if you have experienced this yet, but when you changed the Pop-Up menu content, you probably entered the current year, month and day unknowingly and will have trouble doing math against the Pop-Up content that was originally in the template.
    My suggestion in your case would be to convert the time references to decimal hours before doing a comparison. For instance, if the time you wish to compare to is in cell C4, you could extract the decimal hours with =HOUR(C4)+MINUTE(C4)/60
    Remember that the hours will reflect a 24-hour day, so times in the afternoon will run from 12.0 to 23.99...
    Then after converting to decimal, instead of using "9:00 AM" for the COUNTIF criteria, use 9.
    There are probably ways to do this using the Duration format as well, but I prefer the decimal hours.
    Hope this helps.

  • Lead time values are not appearing in the report for current year.

    Hi friends,
    Iam checking a report in production.  where lead time values are displayed as 0 for 1 key figure lead time3 (w/0 dim) . i found there is a formula for this it shows like NODIM ( 'Lead Time 3' ).and there is a value for cal.lead time
    how can i get values in the report.
    Thanks ,
    VRV.

    Hi,
    Although your question is not clear, I understood that the formula built on that KF is NODIM. Basically it means, units of measurement is not considered when calculating.
    Eg: 5 Minutes + 5 Kilograms = 10
    You please try to analyze your KF by the above logic. Then you would be able to figure out why the data is not appearing in the report..
    Assign if helps...

  • "The movie contains an incorrect time value" error - saving a trimmed video

    I am attempting to trim a video shot on my Samsung CL65. The video was shot in High Quality HD 1280 x 720. I open the video in QuickTime and then use the Trim command to remove the last part of the video and then close it to Save it. When I save it I get the following error: "The document SAM_0306.MP4 could not be saved as "SAM_0306". The movie contains an incorrect time value." I think this has to do with an encoding error in the original file or in the trimmed file but I have no idea how to get around it.
    Any ideas?

    This info probably won't help with your problem, but it's information for others who get this error.
    It's probably the software that made the MP4. ffmpegX, for example, and the mencoder program inside it, do this with every H264 encoding when the video is longer than 1 hour. Time codes are correct up to 1 hour, then the seconds value gets wacky (3600 is added to it). Quicktime won't save a movie with a time code like 1:20:3623.120 (although it will correctly display 1:20:23 in the player).
    Apple used to offer quicktime scripts that would allow you to see what the time code in a stream really looked like. Applescript appears to have officially and quietly gone missing, though, and those scripts are no longer available online as far as I can tell. There were some really handy other scripts that would allow you to view all sorts of movie properties and manipulate tracks (great for syncing poorly synced sound, for example), but time code problems like the above would invariably mean the movie couldn't be saved.

  • How can I use two drop down lists for one time value?

    I want to enter the length of time that someone does an activity in hours and minutes using two drop down lists, then enter them as a single time value (H:i:s) in Mysql.
    I've used the basic drop down lists, and a few different variations of the following with no success (seconds is a hidden field with a value of "00"):
                           GetSQLValueString(strftime('%H:%i:%s', strtotime($_POST["sleeptimemin"]." ".$_POST["sleeptimehr"]." ".$_POST["seconds"])), "date"),
    This returns 00:00:16, no matter what is selected on the drop down list.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    MySQL stores times in human-understandable format, using the 24-hour clock.
    GetSQLValueString($_POST['sleeptimehr'] . ':' . $_POST['sleeptimemin'] . ':00', "date"),

    I was looking at the option of using a pop-up menu to select times (8:00 AM etc.) from to keep from having to enter all the times in my spreadsheet manually. Has anyone done this before and is there a download or widget for this? Unfortunately for me, I would need it to be in increments of 5 minutes starting from 7AM to 7PM or so, which would be a tremendous amount of parameters added to a traditional pop-up menu.

    Thanks for the insight, it seems to make good sense to me with your process to create multiple pop-ups and/or sliders. Since I'm still new to iWork Numbers though, are the tables you illustrated in your reply saved in a separate spreadsheet to use as a reference for the pop-up in other, separate spreadsheets? Is that what LOOKUP is used for (to reference another sheet)?
    My invoice has a single cell for an "IN" time and another for an "OUT" time; all incorporated to a fairly "busy" invoice that can't accommodate any additional cells in those areas.
    Both tables are on the same sheet, but I placed them on separate tables on that sheet.
    They don't have to be on separate tables, and they don't have to be on the same sheet, but they do have to be in the same document, as Numbers does not provide for linking to separate documents/files.
    With the busy invoice in your case, you could place the popup and slider cells (two of each) on a separate table, and only the result cells on the same table as your invoice. The popups and sliders could go on the same table as the lookup array, but that table would then have to be both visible and unlocked.
    Placing the Lookup array on a separate table allows you to lock that table to prevent accidental changes to it. You can also easily hide the Lookup table by placing it behind the main table (your invoice), or on a second sheet in your document.
    Placed on the same table as the rest of the invoice, you can still hide it simply by hiding the two columns containing the lookup information.
    An alternate method, requiring no extra cells or tables would be to Use Insert Date and Time (in the Insert menu, or from the keyboard with shift-option-command-D ) to insert the date and time directly.
    There are some complications with this which might make it unusable, depending on how many people need to be trained and how well they take to training. Insert Date and Time starts with the assumption that what you really want to do is insert the date. Changing its mind takes a couple of extra steps that must be done immediately, and each time.
    1. Click on the cell to select it.
    2. Go Insert > Date and Time (or press shift-option-command-D )
    3. Before taking any other action, double click the cell (which will now be displaying the current date) to open a small dialogue.
    4. In the dialogue, use the popup menu to choose one of the Time only formats.
    5. Click outside the dialogue to dismiss it.
    The cell will now contain the current Date and Time value, and will display the current time.
    Note that the Time, when inserted this way, will be the time that the insertion was done, and won't be rounded to the nearer five minutes.
    You'll find a discussion of LOOKUP (and the two related functions, VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP in the iWork Formulas and Functions User Guide, and an excellent overview of Numbers (including explanation of the terms I've used above) in the Numbers '09 User Guide. Both can be downloaded using the menu items in the Help menu in Numbers. Both are recommended reading for new and old users of Numbers alike.

  • Help Please!!! - Unable to read or execute SQL with Next Run Time value.

    Hello,
    We have a requirement where we need to pick the results every five minutes based on the scheduler task "Next Run Time" value. The below is the SQL which was used to run the task every 5 minutes
    SELECT <%RESULTS%>
    FROM
    <%SCHEMA%>.FCI_MAS_CONTACT T1
    RIGHT OUTER JOIN <%SCHEMA%>.FCI_MAS_VENDOR T2
    ON (T2.OBJECTID = T1.PARENT_OBJECT_ID)
    WHERE
    T1.CONTEXTID=<%CONTEXT(masterdata.Contact)%>
    AND T1.INACTIVE=0
    AND T2.INACTIVE=0
    AND T1.CREATED_AT>=
    SELECT
    (ALERT_AT_DATETIME - NUMTODSINTERVAL('5','MINUTE'))
    FROM
    <%SCHEMA%>.FCI_SYS_MANAGED_DAEMON SD,
    <%SCHEMA%>.FCI_SYS_ALERT SA
    WHERE
    SD.INACTIVE = 0
    AND SA.OWNERREF_CLASS_ID = 10502
    AND SA.OWNERREF_OBJECT_ID = SD.OBJECTID
    AND SD.SYSTEM_MANAGED <> 1
    AND SD.CONTEXTID=<%CONTEXT(common.ManagedDaemonType)%>
    AND SD.DISPLAY_NAME = 'Vendor Sync Program'
    OR
    T1.MODIFIED_AT >=
    SELECT
    (ALERT_AT_DATETIME - NUMTODSINTERVAL('5','MINUTE'))
    FROM
    <%SCHEMA%>.FCI_SYS_MANAGED_DAEMON SD,
    <%SCHEMA%>.FCI_SYS_ALERT SA
    WHERE
    SD.INACTIVE = 0
    AND SA.OWNERREF_CLASS_ID = 10502
    AND SA.OWNERREF_OBJECT_ID = SD.OBJECTID
    AND SD.SYSTEM_MANAGED <> 1
    AND SD.CONTEXTID=<%CONTEXT(common.ManagedDaemonType)%>
    AND SD.DISPLAY_NAME = 'Vendor Sync Program'
    While we run the above SQL as scheduler task, we do not see any output. However when we run this as a standalone, we see the results. Please advice if we have missed any step while run the report as schedule task.
    Rgds,
    Vinod

    Hi
    Have you:
    1. Assigned a valid agent to your task - and have you checked that agent found is within the range of valid agents
    2. If you have transported / or is testing on another client, remember that agent assignment must be made on that system as well - and remember - SWU_OBUF.
    3. if this does not help check the authorizations  -  display access to authorization PLOG is required for infotype 1000, 1001 for objecttype AC.

    Hi,
    I assume that you read values for the search help with function 'F4IF_FIELD_VALUE_REQUEST' and in a later step you display values with <htmlb:tableview>. If that is true and the function is delivering too many records as you mention, you could then restrict the output table of values like this:
    TABLES mara.
    DATA: mytable TYPE TABLE OF ddshretval WITH HEADER LINE.
    DATA l_repid TYPE syrepid.
    PARAMETERS p_mtart LIKE mara-mtart.
    AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST
    FOR p_mtart.
    l_repid = sy-repid.
    CALL FUNCTION 'F4IF_FIELD_VALUE_REQUEST'
    EXPORTING
    tabname = 'MARA'
    fieldname = 'MTART'
    dynpprog = l_repid
    callback_program = l_repid
    callback_form = 'F4CALLBACK'
    TABLES
    return_tab = mytable
    EXCEPTIONS
    field_not_found = 1
    no_help_for_field = 2
    inconsistent_help = 3
    no_values_found = 4
    OTHERS = 5.
    START-OF-SELECTION.
    blah, blah, blah
    * Form F4_form
    * Exclude all material types that start with F & H
    FORM f4callback
    TABLES record_tab STRUCTURE seahlpres
    CHANGING shlp TYPE shlp_descr
    callcontrol LIKE ddshf4ctrl.
    DATA: aux_struc TYPE ddshselopt.
    MOVE: 'H_T134' to aux_struc-shlpname,
    'MTART' TO aux_struc-shlpfield,
    'E' TO aux_struc-sign,
    'CP' TO aux_struc-option,
    'F*' TO aux_struc-low.
    append aux_struc to SHLP-SELOPT.
    MOVE: 'H_T134' to aux_struc-shlpname,
    'MTART' TO aux_struc-shlpfield,
    'E' TO aux_struc-sign,
    'CP' TO aux_struc-option,

    append aux_struc to SHLP-SELOPT.
