Error when reading chars values when restricting time chars in Query
Hi all,
since a few days I am not able to restrict time characteristics in queries on a particular Multiporvider. I can restrict the time chars with variables but not with fixed values.
I am getting the following error:
Reading Characteristic Values -> Programm Error in class SAPMSSY1 -> Uncaught exception.
The problem exists only on one particular multi provider, but when checking the MP it indicates no errors.
Anyone experienced something similiar? I am appreciating your help.

actually it is a problem associated with SAP GUI 7.0.
A solution to this problem is
Just replace the file wdbspres.dll with in the following location
C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SapGui.
You can search for this file on google and download it.
we also had faced this problem earlier...but after replacing the wdbspres.dll...it worked..

I saw a similar message, and it was resolved by adding a timezone to the user profile defaults tab in SU3. I believe the system has been configured to convert between users' timezone and the system timezone, therefore it needs to know each users' timezone.

Technical Error When Extracting Time Data

I would like to seek your assistance on this case.
When business warehouse extracts HR data from SAP, they received this error message stating "Technical error when extracting time data in HR: HRMS_TIME_TIM_QUOTA 00321478".
Do you have any idea on this?
Thanks.We don't have Business Warehouse, but it seems your system has problems with a Quota, perhaps for employee # 00321478.

Syntax error when adding variables in recordset (query)

Hi I am receiving a syntax error: invalid quantifier ++ $orderNum;s*?> when adding two variables in the recordset (query) dialog box. I get the error when clicking OK.
Here is what is entered:

Can anyone help with this?That's a completely separate issue. The error message is telling you that you have not defined the testing server correctly in the Site Definition dialog box.
The Host directory field and URL prefix should both point to the same place, in other words, the root of your website. Host directory is the physical path, while URL prefix is the address you would put in a browser address bar.
Select Site > Manage Sites. Select the name of the site, and click the Edit button. In the Site Definition dialog box, select the Advanced tab, and then choose Testing server from the Category list on the left.
Depending on how your remote login works, Host directory should probably be public_html or just /. Use the same value as in the Remote server part of the Site Definition dialog box. The URL prefix should be http://gaylehansen.aisites.com/. -

Error when running time evaluation
Hi,
When I am running time evaluation I got this error "start of pair formation changed from 20040101 to 20081212"
I am using TM01 schema. Please help me out with this error.

Please check infotype 0007 if the work schedule has changed fron 01/01/2004.
Also please check the generated workschedule used for that employee , if the config has changed and that work schedule has been re- generated with a different DWS.

Error when submitting time in CATS regular
when trying to submit time in CATS regular (ESS Time Entry standard application) I get the following error:
"Personnel number 00090339 does not exist or you do not have authorization
Erroneous records exist. Navigation is not possible "
any idea what might be the issue?
Portal user exists in ECC6 and is assigned to employee 90339 in infotype 105.
Portal user has the standard SAP employee role assigned in ECC6.

check the dump in st22 and check the authorisations for the user

Error when the time of create apllication in webdynpro abap
hi,
when i am trying to create apllication for webdynpro component it shows the error message like
'you are not authorized to use transaction sicf ' in the status bar . what is the problem and how can avoid this issue.Hi Babu,
You are not authorized to use SICF tcode in development client. So try to create Webdynpro application in testing client where u have authorization for this tcode.
Because whenever you create a webdynpro application, Internet Communication Framework (ICF) services for that application has to be maintained.since you are not authorized to access SICF it fails to do the same.

I posted time to CO using transaction CATA. I then received the following error message "General Administrative GL Accounts are not allowed on awarded projects." How do i determine which GL accounts are in question?
ThanksThe time entries were correct the CO consultant modified something within FI which cleared up the error message.
