Resume Biztalk message instance from Failed
HI Experts,
I have a doubt.
Lets Assume i am sending data to sql using wcf-sql 1 way send port.
in case of any DeliveryFailure Issues(SQL server Down), my instance has to go to
suspend state, when my server is Up.I need to resume the instance, such that my last persistence point from send port
has to be executed. How can i do this?
If i had Catch block in my orchestration, it is resuming from Catch block , not from send shape.
The best way to handle this is to properly set the Retry Count and Interval on the Send Port, then use the appropriate Scope in the Orchestration.
If you want to be able to Resume the Orchestration, put the Send in a Scope with Delivery Notification set.
This blog has all the details:

Is it possible you moved it accidentally? Did you check inside folders?

How to get current suspended message ID from context
Hi all,
I'm trying to get the Suspended Message Id from my orchestration.
I don't want to get the this inside the orchestration, because that I already know how to do it.
I've search inside this forum and get a solution, but actually does not work.
Using this: Microsoft.XLANGs.Core.Service.RootService.InstanceId
(http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/95d2c9d9-5cbe-4bca-9cef-da7aba984d3c/how-do-i-access-instance-id-of-a-message-from-orchestration?forum=biztalkgeneral)
Also, I have searched in "all" properties of Microsoft.XLANGs.Core.Service.RootService and didn't had any luck
My goal?
I have a service that logs, to SQL, all errors in my biztalk applications. Right now is not saving the message id, and I do need. (I can easily change the method to receive the message id, but I'm trying to avoid that because I have 30 applications
using the same method/application).
Also, I have another service that is listening to all suspended messages.. In here I have the message Id (and other data) using WMI...
Now, I need to correlate both info..
Any help would be appreciated
Ricardo BessaHi,
Thanks for the reply. My answers inline.
I already understood the logic that you said and I'm working on it. However, if you have more good inputs to give, please do!
Thanks
Hi Ricardo,
Let us be clear with your requirement.
“I
have another service that is listening to all suspended messages.. In here I have the message Id (and other data) using WMI... ”
- What this “service” is? Is this some service external to BizTalk from where you want to access the detail of the suspended message? If so then you go to use some way similar to my earlier reply. When you want to access the suspended message details,
you got to access it from management db. The code which I have given in my earlier reply would do that. No other option in this case.
Yes, I am already doing that. I'm using a Windows service that is listening for all suspended messages in BizTalk. In this
windows service I can access to everything that I want (message Id; service type id; instance id; and many other properties...). My issue is not in here.
“Actually
when i call Microsoft.XLANGs.Core.Service.RootService.InstanceId I'm getting the property SendingOrchestrationID.”
- Are you try to access the message Instance ID from another child orchestration?
SendingOrchestrationID is the orchestration instance
ID where the message originated and you would get it when another orchestration (subprocess) which has been triggered by another orchestration (parent orch whose ID is
SendingOrchestrationID). Detail us about where and how
to you get this SendingOrchestrationID.
Because when you want to access “Suspended” Orchestration’s message instance ID, you can’t achieve it by calling it from sub-processes.
I'm using a external (custom) class library.
I have a custom log which tracks everything that goes in our BizTalk applications. When errors / warning I write that to a database table.
This is made in different times, so when I log the error to the database I need "something" that exists in my other service (MEssageID; service type
id; instance id; or other 'unique' property). Also, I don't want to change the log method, because (if I do that, I would need to change 30 applications).
That's why I'm looking for a 'global' property that I can use, without changing (a lot) my code.
When an Orchestration is suspended, it will be marked as “Suspended” in db and to get the messages associated with it, access the suspended Orchestration instance
ID from the db and use this ID from db to get its related contents/messages IDs.
If this answers your question please mark it accordingly. If this post is helpful, please vote as helpful by clicking the upward arrow mark next to my reply.

Connect to message server host failed;WSAECONNREFUSED: Connection refused
Hi All,
I am getting the following error when I tried to test the system connectivity from the portal to NSP instance.
Connection failed. Make sure that Single Sign-On is configured correctly
I found the following entry in the logs

Both NSP and J2E instances are on the same server. OS - win2k3.
I checked the services file and have the sapmsNSP entry.
I am able to launch an SAP transaction from System Administration -> Support
RZ70 from NSP also fails JCo error. SLD_UC RFC itself works fine and the JCo RFC provider SLD_UC program is running
WEB AS & ITS connections work fine.
User authentication is from backend, NSP.
I think I have gone thru all the logs but could not resolve the issue.
I appreciate any help on this,
VictorI tried to go thru the thread. I did not find any clue as why only server connectivity is failing. ABAP trial version is running fine and the NW trial version is working fine too. These run without crashing. I did a lot of customizing on the portal but dont see any issues except the System Connectivity. Like I mentioned I did UME configuration to point to NSP ABAP instance and I can log into the portal with user credentials that I use to login to ABAP. I can launch webgui etc without any issues.

BhargaviHi,
From my experience, this issue may be caused by OS update,
As long as each of your roles has 2 or more instances then your service will
not experience downtime due to the adherence to upgrade domains. The blog at
http://blog.toddysm.com/2010/04/upgrade-domains-and-fault-domains-in-windows-azure.htmlhas
a great explanation of upgrade and fault domains, and why having 2 instances of a role is required to meet the 99.95% uptime SLA.
Hope this helps

I am trying to copy my entire iTunes library and everything in it from my PC Desktop to my PC Laptop using the "External Drive" method as shown on the Apple website. On Part 1 (5) I am told to consolidate files. When attempting to do this I get the message "Copying files failed. The file name was invalid or too long."
How do I resolve this?I have just been having this problem and it has been driving me mad. The error message doesn't tell you which file is causing the problem so you can't fix it and it leaves your libray in a state of limbo with some files copied into the new location and some in the old location. After many hours I found a surprisingly quick and simple solution.
1) in iTune create a smart play list that includes everything that was added before tomorrows date. This will include everything.
2) Right click this playlist and export it as a text file to produce a tab delimited file.
3) Import this into a spread sheet, or just view it in a text editor with line wrap turned off. What you are interested in is the last column (or end of the line in a text editor). This gives you the path of the file associated with each entry in the library.
The path of the files that have already been copied successfully will start with the new location for your media files you specified. Scroll thru the rows until you get a blank path. If you start getting paths starting with the old Media file location then you went to far and start scrolling back.
The row with the blank path was the file that failed. Move back to the start of the row to find out more about it. In my case it was a podcast with a very long name. I just deleted that podcast from iTunes.
4) Restart the consolidation by choosing File, Library as you did before and the process starts again where it left off.
5) If it fails again on another file just repeat the process -
I have a tried to format my seagate free agent 1TB external hard drive so I can use it, but I keep getting an error message saying it failed. Can n e 1 help me plz
This article has a link for more information on finding your profile directory: [[Fix the "Could not initialize the application's security component" error message]]. On Windows 7, you can try this (either in a Windows Explorer window address bar or from the start menu search box):
%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
You may see one folder in there and that's the one you want. If you see more than one, look for the one with the most recently modified files. -
We supply our software package that also includes the unattended installation (with /QS and so on) of SQL Server R2 Express (with SP2).
The setup works good in about 99.9% cases, but one customer complained that after the "successful SQL Sever installation (at least, it looked so!) he could not open the supplied database getting some strange error messages...
After some months of trial-n-error attempts we are now able to reproduce the problems this custumer had. But we cannot find the reason of the problem.
So the test computer is a virtual machine with Windows 7 + sp1 32-bit.
Among the programs/tools installed on this machine there were (in the following order):
SQL Server 2008 Express - the default SQLEXPRESS instance
SSMS
VS 2010 Pro (German)
SQL Server 2008 Express R2 (with SP 1 or SP2 - ?) - the default SQLEXPRESS instance
Then some of them were uninstalled in the following order:
SQL Server 2008 Express
SSMS
SQL Server 2008 Express R2
Now we tried to install (in normal mode with UI) the SQL Server 2008 Express R2 with SP2.
When we chose the default SQLEXPRESS instance - it failed with the following info:
Configuration status: Failed: see details below
Configuration error code: 0x7FCCE689
Configuration error description: External component has thrown an exception.
and the Detail.txt file contained the following:
2015-01-20 10:44:09 Slp: External component has thrown an exception.
2015-01-20 10:44:09 Slp: The configuration failure category of current exception is ConfigurationValidationFailure

When we chose some other instance name then the installation has completed successfully.
So the questions are:
What could be the reason of the problem (and only for SQLEXPRESS instance that was earlier installed and then uninstalled)? I will provide the complete Detail.txt file if needed.
How could we check (if we could) the conditions so some name would be allowed as an instance name for SQL Server installer to success?
With the best regards,
Victor
Victor NijegorodovThank you Lydia!
Unfortunately the simple check the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\Instance Names\SQL does /did not work in our case since there is no any instance
name there,
However there seem to be some "rudiments" under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall and/or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services.
So I will now try to check the subkeys of these two keys as it was mentioned by Xiao-Min Tan.
Best regards,
Victor Nijegorodov

IDOC Message coming from R/3 system to XI , but waits in Qeue
<b>IDOC Message coming from R/3 system to XI , but waits in Qeue</b>
XI doesn't send the message FTP receiver. In XI sxmb_moni the "c" column contains green flags that mean "message scheduled on outbound side".
In smq1 It writes "SYSFAIL" means "Password logon no longer possible - too many faile"
But I use "anonymus" in FTP adapter. Which password is this, which component is related with this error.
How can I do?
thanksHi Cemil,
it may be that the FTP server where you want to send your output file does not accept anonymous connections.........so just get the username and password of that FTP server, which has access to do FTP to that machine, for doing ftp to that machine, then your output msg will be FTP to your target FTP server........

Multiple message threads from same person
I have multiple message threads from the same person in messages on my iPhone and iPad. One comes from their phone number and one from their email. Here are all the details, I would love to be able to combine them into one thread.
This other person and myself each have a new MacBook Pro, iPad Air 2, I have an iPhone 6 and they have an iPhone 5S. They are all updated with the most recent system software.
On my MacBook Pro, the conversations that are split on my iPhone and iPad are not split. On the MacBook Pro, all of the texts from both conversations are appearing in one. In my contacts which are syncing with iCloud I have both the phone number and email address of this other person.
I have messages set up on all of my devices to send and receive from my phone number and my email, start new conversations is from my phone number. This other person has it set up the exact same way on all of their devices.
So why when I text this person from one conversation thread and they respond it comes through to the other conversation thread?
Why can't I seem to join these two conversations when everything is set up the way it should be and they ARE joined on my MacBook Pro but not my iPhone and iPad?She kept the same number on her new phone, but now there are 2 conversation threads. A new one started with messages sent from the new phone, the old phone should be out of service now. Why didn''t messages sent by the new phone resume in the same conversation? I assume because it's a different IMEI. But now whenever I use her phone number to create a new message, it goes in the old IMEI*'s conversation thread and is therefore not delivered. It's in green so it thinks it's an SMS also not a iMessage device.
If I want to send a message correctly to the new phone, I have to make sure I go into the correct newer thread and enter it there,
For your second answer, the person is receiving the message but the thread now says "email address", not the person's name in the contact list. The sender is sending to the person's phone number, not her email address.
