Retrieve all users with attributes from AD

hi,
i'd like to retrieve all users with their attributes from AD. I can connect to AD and i 'm able to retrieve entries from a group with the member class given in this forum.
But my problem is i would like to retrieve users directly from the Users container
thanx for help

i solved one part of my problem.
But, now i have to get all attributes for each users and i couldn't find them. The getattributes method doesn't return anything (i 'd like to retrieve the first name, last name, adress ...)

Now,Is there any way that I can retrieve all user ids from the LDAP directory and store in an Oracle table?
The distinguished name of authorized user as it appears in our LDAP directory is below:

Have a look at attachments API, since this also does the same thing except that it puts the file in fnd_lobs instead of the custom table.

List all users with full control on a SharePoint 2013 Sub site from SharePoint Object Model in C#

If I have a sub site URL and a user with Site Admin, can I list all users in that sub site that have Full Control at that level?
Any C# code sample?

Still you can do that, just pass the subsites to your code and from their you can find the users dynamically.
You could also use SPWeb.Users property to get users assigned to a subsite

Retrieving Webcenter User Profile information from portlet programmaticaly

Hi guys,
I'm triing to retrieve WC user profile information programmatically from a jsr 286 portlet but:
ADFContext.getCurrent().getSecurityContext().getUserName(); ----> always return anonymous
ADFContext.getCurrent().getSecurityContext().isAuthenticated() ----> always return false
(i'm obviously authenticated on webcenter with my profile)
Anyone knows what the problem is or how to retrieve webcenter user profile information from within a portlet?

i've tried passing this parameter to the portlet : #{webCenterProfile[securityContext.userName].userName}
I can retrieve from the request object and the username is correct, the problem is that i need the whole profile (i have some logic that are dependant on user email, lastname etc), and adding all profile attributes as parameter seems to me not the correct solution.
I need a way to access the user profile directly from the portlet.

Create Checkbox with Attributes from XML file

I have some problem. I want to create some checkbox with attribute from a XML file
my Xml file look like this:
<group type="Content Relation" color="255, 255, 255" active="true">
so I want to create for example a check box with name as Content Relation, Background color is RGB(255, 255, 255) and it's checked. All of these Attribute I have readed and save them as String. My question, how can I create a Color object with the color Attribute from the XML file?
Is it better if I define my XML file like this:

<type>Content Relation</type>
<color>
<red>255</red>
<green>255</green>
<blue>255</blue>
</color>
<active>true</active>
</group>

IMO attributes are much easier to parse then textnodes

How to retrieve all users in the portal with UME API

I would like to know how to retrieve all the users from a portal, which uses LDAP as a source (there are users created in the portal as well)
My code snippet is :
IUserFactory userFactory = UMFactory.getUserFactory();
UserSearchFilter searchFilter = userFactory.getUserSearchFilter();

My problem is that with the code above, only the users created in the portal are displayed, and no LDAP users.

prakash's code should work.
however, mine code below doesn't user a search filter. it retrieves everyuser including users like indexadmin etc. Note:
result.next().toString();
returns a weird uniqueID used in the portal world.
getUniqueName()
gives your the usernames (sAMAccountName in Microsoft AD) people use to logon to the portal.

[SOLVED] Find all users with a MAILTO option in their crontab

Anyone know if this is possible? I have a script that lists all scheduled cronjobs but I need to find out which users have email notifications configured.
If anyone else wants it, here is the script I use to check all user's crontabs. I did not write this.. just found it a while back.

Get all tags and attributes from schema

Mapping question
I have a mapping requirement where the customer needs all the tags and attributes from the schema whether it has a value or not. The schema has almost 1500 tags and each of them has a attribute. We are mapping only about 50 of them, so the rest of them has to be blank. Actually about 700 of the attributes has fixed values like CHAR. Normally I would create a second mapping and use exists otherwise map a empty tag, but in this case the number of tags is high. Is there a easy way to create all the blank tags during runtime similar to using generate instance in test mode or generate sample file in xmlspy.
The scenario is IDOC to SOAP with BPM customer is using a custom schema

thank you for reply, I have a look at the APIs but have not tried it out yet. It seems that it is used to retrive all user that have participate in the workflow, including those that have finished with their task and those currently working on their task.
Can the API differentiate user that have finshed with task and those that is currently still processing task?
I need to know those that is still processing task, as another process need to send email to those users.

Can't retrieve all presets with AVGetOptimizerPresets

Hi,
I'm trying to retrieve all presets defined for my Acrobat Pro 9.3.4 on Windows via that AVGetOptimizerPresets call and always get count of defined presets as 1 (retrieved is first one from the list of defined), while I have them actually 3 - 2 defined with name in Cyrillic and 1 in Latin.

But right now I'm already using Acrobat Pro 9.3.4 and not any old of v8.x
Is it a bug or limitation or anything else?

You've mentioned before (for other issue, to which you didn't answered to my question) that it's possible to submit formal report to Dev. team and probably (I expect) get back some incident number to track.
Could you or anyone else from Adobe on this forum help with that process?
Or should we with our customer together call some Adobe Volume Licensing (because customer has purchased Acrobat Pro 9.0 VL) team first, then wait while they redirect our question to proper Dev. team instead? I think it will take then much longer to resolve.
I really want to understand how we could resolve such issues in a quick way.

SharePoint: Workflow to retrieve all users and Create list item record for each user

My share point site have two Lists as Holidays and MyCalender.
Actually Holiday is simple non-Calender list with field as Holiday Date, Reason. MyCalender List Calender type list with Person Look-up column and user can see his own record. User of Manager group will declare holiday. This Holiday should get reflected
on each user 's MyCalender List.[One listitem as holiday date and reason for each user] so everyone can view that record.
I have requirement as Manager will create one Holiday record and then run single workflow so for all users present in SharePoint Site, one MyCalender List Item record should get created. Is it possible to do using Workflow?? Please help as I didn't get any

You don't need one workflow per user when a filtered view can do this for you. If the manager's list is the parent calendar, I'm assuming that he'll be at least using the person look-up column.
Whether this feeds through the MyCalendar or stays where it is, you can use the [Me] parameter within the filter on a new view. This will then return the assigned holiday filtering against the account that is logged in.

How to provision an app for all users with all dependencies?

I have created an app package with VS that I want to provision for all users of a target system using
DISM /Online /Add-ProvisionedAppxPackage /FolderPath:".\%package%" /SkipLicense
The path contains the content of the *Test folders VS creates when creating store packages. However DISM expects a ".main" file in this folder to work (0xc1570102).
What's the correct way to provision an app with all its dependency packages? (Using the PackagePath option?)

After some further testing in Profile Manager I found that adding the applescript to items that open at logon seems to work. No need for the plist, unless of course I decide not to use Profile Manager at all.
