Retrieve Filtered ALV output into Internal Table in Program

Guys,
I want to update my internal table with the filtered output that the user has selected in the output.
Lets say my internal table had 6 entries which was outputted.
Now the the user filters that output ( say where material is initial ) so that there are only 2 entries left on the output.
How can i know which 2 entries are left on the output screen ?
( i need to know as i am deleting entries from a table )
I came across this slis_filter_alv0 but could not use it in my user exit command routine.
Any ideas would be very helpful.

Try the method get_filtered_entries
This method teturns a table with all indexes that are currently hidden on the screen using the standard "filter" function.
CALL METHOD
<ref.var. to CL_GUI_ALV_GRID>->get_filtered_entries
IMPORTING
ET_FILTERED_ENTRIES = <int tbl of type LVC_T_FIDX >.
Then by using this internal table you can find out the entries which are shown in the output.

Report output into internal table and going ahead

Hi Folks,
We have a report MB51.It is showing some details.Now along with these details I wanna fetch some more detail and show it in the same report.
One way is I can copy this into Z and then go ahead with the changes.But I would like to know can we SUBMIT MB51 program in my ZPROGRAM and then get the output into an internal table and then again populate this internal table with the rest of the data and again display it as final output.
To be precise,is it possible to get the final output of MB51 into an internal table by using submit.

You can't store the sq01 output into internal table.
Once you create the query it will generate the abap program, in that program you can see the contents.

ALV - How to set selected rows into internal table

Hi all,
I am tying to set with an 'X' flag the selected rows in my ALV using an internal table that contains all rows showed.
More exactly I have tried to follow these steps.
1) I have added the filed SEL (type SEL) to my ALV structure zrt_bo_slabsend and I defined my internal table in this way
     DATA: gt_report TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF zrt_bo_slabsend,

2) I have set gw_layo-box_fname = 'SEL' to gw_layo (ALV layout)

I'd like to select many rows in my ALV report, than by pressing the delete button I'd like to see a refresh of my ALV, without the selected rows. I want to save it only at the end of my action, only by pressing the save button.

How to populate field catalogue fields in ALV using dynamic internal table

Please let me know how to populate field catalogue fields in ALV using dynamic internal table.
I have created <dyn_table> using code below.

In my ALV report I am getting the final layout properly but I am unable to move values to corresponding fields in the final layout shown.Please let me know how to populate these fields from different tables.

You have to assign each field to field symbol and then assign the value to that field symbol and asssign that field symbol to workarea field symbol.

I used RFC_REMOTE_FILE to communicate with the presentation server in Background Mode. I connected successfully and got output too.
But my requirement is to update the .csv file into internal tables.
With RFC_REMOTE_FILE i can get the data as single row. But I can't separate the fields and update into the corressponding table field.
What is the solution for the above issue. Could anyone help me.

Question about reading csv file into internal table

Some one (thanks those nice guys!) in this forum have suggested me to use FM KCD_CSV_FILE_TO_INTERN_CONVERT to read csv file into internal table. However, it can be used to read a local file only.
I would like to ask how can I read a CSV file into internal table from files in application server?
I can't simply use SPLIT as there may be comma in the content. e.g.
"abc","aaa,ab",10,"bbc"
My expected output:
abc
aaa,ab
10
bbb

Upload excel data into Internal table

Hi,
I'm trying to upload excel data into internal table, well the excel file layout will be different on each run of the report.
Excel file will have 60 columns and 500 record limit. I can upload the excel data using 'ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE' and 'KCD_EXCEL_OLE_TO_INT_CONVERT' but the output table is generates 60 lines for each record i.e.., 60 * 500 = 30,000 which could cause performance.
I try with the FM 'TEXT_CONVERT_XLS_TO_SAP', but this will only work if the file structure is static. It didn't work for dynamic file layout. Even GUI_UPLOAD doesn't work to upload excel file, it will work if I convert the file to Tab delimited file.
Please advise if you know any alternate procedure to upload excel data into internal table.

I am new comer to ABAP, have some very important task to be done, need help from all of you. I have a program which displays the results(inform about the infocubes). I want to insert the output of this prgm into an internal table, I am looking lot into the documentation, but so far not much help and i am not able to execute it. And one more task, I want to join this internal table and one database table and get the result, my question is , Is it possible to join this internal table and database table based on some common field.

For joining internal table with database table,you need to write the logic as below.
This is the pseudo code.
select * from database into table itab2 where condition.
loop at itab1 into wa1.
   move-corresponding wa1 to wa3.
   loop at itab2 into wa2 where field = wa1-field.
    move-corresponding wa2 to wa3.
   endloop.
   append wa3 to itab3.
endloop.
1. select the required data from database table into internal table.
2. loop the first internal table which you already have.
3. Based on the key fields in these two internal tables[database],place the condition in READ or LOOP statement for the second internal table inside the loop of the first internal table.
4. If there are more records in second internal table for a single record in first internal table,then use LOOP the second internal table within the first internal table.Otherwise, read the second internal table within the first internal table.
5.Then move the corresponding fields from both the internal tables inside the loop to third internal table.Append the record to the third internal table.

How to transfer data of RFC into Internal Table inside a WD4A program?

Hi Experts,
I have created WD4A program. This program calls RFC. The output of RFC has to populate a UI table. THe different cells of the table should have different color based on data.
I have gone through following link:

The above link fetches data from directly from table. Then it passes the data into internal table.
If I am using RFC, then how I can insert data of RFC into a internal table in WD4A program (se80 In drop down Web Dynpro Comp / Intf)
My motto is to have table ouput whose different cells should have different color based on data.
Please help.

Hi Experts,
I have resolved the issue. I have created WD4A program. This WD4A program calls the RFC.
The RFC has a structure as export parameters called 'RESULT_FINAL'. I have altered the associated type of this table export parameter. I added Component 'Color' of component type 'WDUI_TABLE_CELL_DESIGN'.
In the RFC I have added some code. The code is as below:
loop at it_t1.
      select pernr from pa0000 into table it_t2 where pernr = it_t1-pernr and stat2 ='3'
      and begda <= sy-datum AND endda >= sy-datum.
      if sy-subrc = 0.
        result_final-org_unit = result_objec-objid.
        result_final-pernr = it_t1-pernr.
        result_final-name = it_t1-name.
        result_final-color = '02'.       append result_final.
      endif.
    endloop.
The line   result_final-color = '02'.
code returns Color.
In the WD4A program, I have changed the Cell Design property of selected table coloumn to Color.
This resolved the issue.

Converting worbook data into internal table

Hi,
I'm using a FM 'RRMX_WORKBOOK_READ' to read data from a workbook in BI system. My requirement is to get the data into an internal table and I'm using the above FM for this purpose. But the above FM gives data in binary format.... Anbody has any idea how to convert this into internal table format.

Hi all,
I having requirement to extract classification data for material number.
1) Provide the selection option for material number (MATNR).
2) Based on the material number, then extract all that data into internal table as below layout. My problem is how to retrieve the following data from different table based on the MATNR (material number).
