Retrieve value form Table view when the selection mode is 'NONE'

Hi,
I am new to ABAP, Can anyone tell me how to reterieve the records of the tableview, i have the selection mode as 'NONE'. When the button is clicked i need to reterieve all the values from the table and display it in the next screen.
I am able to diaplay the table values , but i am unable to reterieve the values on Inputprocessing.
Its very urgent. Please help me

you are able display the table view means, you have the data in internal table.
you need all the records that are displayed in the table view with out selection. why dont you use that internal table itself, which is displayed as table view.

DDL generateor addes in table creates when I select views only

When I select Export -> DDL then select a sub-view (that only has views in the diagram) to generate the output it is automatically including all the underlying tables. I have already built the tables in the database so only want a script with the views. If I generate the views by selecting them manually from the overall design list, then I get just the views.
This seems to be new functionality that I need to turn off or a bug in the generator when it uses a subview as the base. How do I get just the Create View statements?

It's a bug. When generating from a Subview, the Tables referenced by the selected Views are also being generated.

You can read data from InfoProviders (e.g. InfoCubes, DSOs etc) using function module RSDRI_INFOPROV_READ.

I did an ALTER TABLE1 to change FIELD1 from varchar(5) to varchar(7). TABLE1.FIELD1 is in VIEW1. When I do a SELECT * FROM VIEW1 it shows 7 characters. But when I look at VIEW1 in object explorer (after refreshing), FIELD1 is varchar(5). Do I care?
Should I recreate the VIEW1?

If you have refreshed using sp_refreshview stored procedure then you are good, if not then here you go...
The metadata for the view is not automatically updated when the tables are modified.
The fix is to either drop and re-create or alter the view or to use the sp_refreshview stored procedure.
Example :

Restrict filter values that are shown in the selection screen

Hi Experts
1) Is it possible to restrict the filter values that are shown in the selection screen in BEx web? When a user are asked to enter a material number and uses the selection button in BEx web, he should only see material numbers for one specific plant. How is this done?
2) Is it possible to remove the selection button for å characteristic filter in the selection screen in BEx web? The selection button I am talking about is the button to the right of where you enter the filter value (two white papers on top of each other). If there is no solution for question 1 we have to go for question 2 solution.
We are using BI 04s, SP 09.

Hi Erik,
It seems that you would like the user to see value for 1 single plant. If the Plant Value is fixed then you can use this value in the Query and hardcode it.> in the query go to the Plant Chrac and keep a constant value of the Plant.
How ever if you need this value to be dynamic then use a variable for customer exit and populate this value using ABAP.

How do view ONLY the selected clip?

Is the sequence marker the ONLy way to view a selected clip(s) -- along with the Play-In to Out button?
Often times, I just want to view just one clip in the timeline after I've added effects. If I don't set a sequence marker, PPro plays the entire sequence in the entire timeline of the project, which is more than what I want to view.
Is there any other way, other than setting sequence markers, to view JUST the selected clip(s)?
I thought that, intuitively, selecting a clip (or group of clips) with my pointer would by default playback ONLY the selected clip(s). But I guess not.

I used the work area bar and it did nothing. I played the clip(s) under the work area bar, but it continued playing beyond the bar. Also, when I hit Play again, it started from the beginning of the timeline, not the beginning of the clip under the bar. So, the work area bar seems to only have use when you want to preview something by rendering the tracks under the bar. Otherwise, nothing special. The work area bar is useless to me, unless someone shows me the light.

There are 2 type of pop-ups in WD, and the answer is different depending on which type you are using:
1. Stand-alone browser window that hosts separate application (result of IWDWindowManager.createNonModalExternalWindow) -- no way.
2. Inner pop-up created via IWDWindowManager.createModalWindow -- absolutely possible:
-- a. Create event in component controller (probably with parameters)
-- b. Create method in component controller that fires this event (with corresponding parameters, if any)
-- c. In view that corresponds to window invoke method created in [ b ] and hence fire event. This should be done in action handler of something like "OK" Button or "Close" LinkToAction.
-- d. In any other controller subscribe to event described in [ a ]

i want to create a table control in the selection screen of my report.i can create the table control using SE51.but how to program with the table control in the report.for example i should fetch the data for the personnel nos entered in the table control of the selection screen.how to do this.can any of u provide sample code for this.

Create internal table and create table control using same internal table
e.g.
data : begin of it,
end of it.
start-of-selection.
call screen 100.
If you create table control using wizard then code automatically come here.
Now, Put one push button in same screen where table control is available. let's say push button Display report.
Now, use export <IT> to memory id <ID> and submit report <report name> and return. now, define same internal table in this submitted report and use import <IT> from memory id <ID>. Now, table control data is available in internal table, use that data and make code as per your requirement. If you dont want to use push button then use menu bar and at user-command event.

You have to change your page design so the link doesn't occupy the full screen of your content.

Audigy 2 Value randomly pops/clicks when the computer is just idling.

EAudigy 2 Value randomly pops/clicks when the computer is just idling.; I can't figure out why the I hear random popping and clicking when I'm doing absolutely nothing to the computer. Typing this right now doesn't seem to cause any popping. It usually happens when I'm not really doing anything to my computer. This was happening with Creative's drivers and software so I switched to kX drivers, but that didn't help. When I first got my computer (Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe) and got the Audigy 2, I had no problem with Creative's software/drivers at the time, no popping had occur until I installed an SATA HD. PCI latency tool helped at the time. Then I had to go through a reformat and after the reinstallation of Windows XP, the popping started occuring randomly. After my motherboard supposely didn't want to POST anymore, I bought another one which was the Epox. And same problem occured even though I reformat and reinstalled windows.
Right now, the only thing I could think of that the SATA HD and Sound Blaster cards don't mix well together. But none of these are sharing resources. I did not want to try decrease any hardware acceleration at the moment, will there be any difference in sound or performance if I lower the acceleration?
Here are my current specs,
Windows XP Pro SP3
Amd AthlonXP 2600+ @ 2.2ghz
GB DDR Ram
ATI x800 xt AIW
Epox 8RDA3+ Pro
Running Sata HD and IDE, SATA is the master dri've.

I keep getting an error message on the blue screen of death. Beginning dump of physical memory. To fix it a messgae board said "when the ACPI mode is enabled (by default) under Windows 2000. I will get this error randomly, once when I was opening a file on another computer on my network, once when I was logging onto to my bank website on the internet, and another when I was searching through my d drive. Nothing to difficult, I do not even have other programs running when it happens sometimes. Thanks for any help!

Binding textbox to combobox selected value when the selected value is blank

I have a simple form that binds data to a combobox and when one of the values in the combobox is selected it fills a textbox with the corresponding column in that table. However, if that combobox value is empty(meaning that table cell is empty) then
the textbox will not fill with the correct value. I am finding this hard to explain so I will lay it out.

I fill my combobox with Sub values based on the Bus Unit and Obj. Since the Bus Unit and the Obj in both rows are the same the combobox is filled with 10 and "".
Here is where the problem occurs. When I select "10" in the combobox I want a textbox to fill with correct Obj Description field. So selecting "10" would give me 'ASC Voucher' in the textbox and selecting "" should
give me 'Voucher' in the textbox, but this is not the case. I can only get 'ASC Voucher' to fill the textbox. When I select "" it keeps the textbox at 'ASC Voucher'.
My guess us that is has something to do with the value being empty in that table cell because when I am selecting other values it works.
Any guess as to what I should do?

How to SELECT ALL records of a TABLE VIEW in the BSP page

Hi All,
In the BSP portal, I am displaying some data(multple records) in the form of a table using the BSP TAG <htmlb:tableView>. I wrote the logic in the 'VIEW' of the BSP application which will be triggered by the controller. I have used the attribute selectionMode = "MULTISELECT" to have a Check Box to select a row.
My requirement is to have a button/checkbox on the first column of the header of the table view. By clicking on this, it should select/desect all the records of the table. Could someone please help me how to do this? What attribute I should use in the tableview to get the button in the header row of the table and how to select all the records of the table.?
Please provide your valuable inputs.
