Retrieving the new entries of an updated ATOM feed/API

I am using Java servlets to read several ATOM feeds.while reading those feeds below is the problem which i encountered
An illustration of the problem .....................
Suppose
At 9:00 AM
Feed entries are
X
Y
At 9:10 AM
Feed entries are
a
b
c
X
Y
newly added entries are a,b,c
i read the feed at 9:00am and noted down the entries X,Y
after 10 minutes again i read the feed
using Etag (or) id method i detected that the feed has changed....................
now how to retrieve those newly added entries of a feed at 9:10 Am?

i thought of following the below approach
at 9:00 Am notedown the entry id of latest entry...............................
at 9:10 Am (it is modified) read the feed entries until you get the entry who id is equal to the entry which we stored at 9:00Am
These entries which we read here are newly added ones...............
is this the right approach to get the newly added entries of a feed?
(or) is there any efficient approach ?

Hi Experts,
I am calling a Modal Dialog box screen having a pushbutton.
On the click of the pushbutton, I am performing some checks, and giving a warning message.
The warning message comes as a popup in this case and has three buttons on it.
One of these buttons is titled 'New entry'.
I dont want that button to come on the warning popup.
Please let me know if there is a way out for this.

Thanks a lot for ur prompt reply.
But, in my dialog screen, on click of the button I am simply using the statement :
MESSAGE W000(0K) with 'text'.
The resulting warning message comes as a popup with the 'New Entry' button on it.
From the warning popup, how can I remove the button.
Please let me know.

The new ACR 5.5 update will not install in Elements 7.0

Hello All:
This situation is now becoming ridiculous (well, for me that is). I just tried to install the new ACR 5.5 update and it is "unable to install" into Elements 7.0. I downloaded the update several times, unzipped the install file, but when trying to install, it just gives me a message that it is unable to install and to hit the "quit" button.
I have a Vista 64 Bit system with 12 Gigs of RAM. I've installed Elements 7.0 and Lightroom 2.5 on my system - all with no problems. For some reason, I could never get Photoshop CS-4 to install at all and I've been through the mill trying to install Photoshop - but nothing worked and had to eventually give up. Trying to get Adobe support for CS installation on my 64 Bit system has been ridiculous in this regard as each and every time I called, I was connected with some techrep located in India who all they did was "parrot" back what I told them - how frustrating. But as I mentioned, Elements 7.0 and Lightroom installed just fine.
The previous ACR 5.4 installed just fine into Elements, but now...ACR 5.5 will not install. It tells me that I do NOT have CS-4 installed so it cannot install. What's up with that? Has Adobe stopped supporting the latest ACR upgrades for Elements? What gives?
Does anybody just have just the newest ACR 5.5 plug-in by itself that they can send me so I can just put it in my plug-ins folder (or a place where I can download it)? Adobe used to just have the plug-in that you could unzip and copy and paste and put it into your plug-in folders - but not anymore. Now they make it an 82 Meg install program and thus some of my problems.
Can anybody help here? Why does the install program look for CS-4, yet overlook Elements 7.0 completely. Helpppppppppp.

Sorry to listen that you havent been able to install the Camera Raw 5.5 plugin.
But as far as my knowledge goes for PSE, PSE never lists Camera Raw plugin for updates in the Updater Preferences dialog i.e., if you will launch Help->Check for updates, a updater window will open. If you will check the preferences of that updater dialog, it will tell you that it never checks for updates for Camera Raw plugin unlike what happens in Mac. In Mac Camera Raw updates does get installs just by installing PSE(v6 of course as there is no PSE7 for Mac. Hopefully there will be a v8 for Mac by the end of october as seen in the last release).
Dont know exact reason why Adobe had configured it in that way? why there is some difference between Win and Mac.
So it prompts me that somehow you need to install Ps CS4 on the machine to get the patch installation through updater. Although this is not Ps forum, would you mind telling what error/issues are you facing while installing Ps CS4?

u can write a report program for this and in that use the event :
AT NEW <field-name> ( use primary key)
your statements
ENDAT
for eg.
loop at itab ( herfe itab must be of type of table for which u want to track new entries)
at new matnr
write:/ new record
endat
endloop.
schedule this report in background to run in every 5 or 10 mins as per your requirement and hence changes can be tracked.

iOS 7 requires iTunes version 11.1. If your software updates are not seeing the update for whatever reason, you can download and install it directly from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Keep in mind the requirements to download iTunes 11.1:
Macintosh System Requirements
Mac computer with an Intel Core processor
OS X version 10.6.8 or later
400MB of available disk space
Broadband Internet connection to use the iTunes Store
And
Windows System Requirements

Welcome to the user to user Apple Support forums.
I have tired Safari and Firefox on CNN and the video seems to load just fine, also there isn't any widespread issue. So I'm thinking this is a specific issue to your machine.
I don't know why the videos are not playing, I'm assuming you have a fast enough Internet connection, but we can try a few things like installing any and all codecs and running some maintainence and repair functions that might clear the issue up.
Install the software at these two locations and reboot your machine, see if the site works.
Perian (installs additional Quicktime codecs)
FlipForMac (Windows media in Quicktime)
You'll likely come across media that requires these codecs eventually so for all intensive purposes it's eliminating a possiblity.
Also I just noticed the CNN site uses Flash, please update your Flash player plug-in here

Please bookmark these sites for later use, Flash get updated often.

On the new 10.4.7 update

I just installed the new 10.4.7 update; always happy to install a new update. After I booted back up I entered my login information and hit enter. The whole interface loaded so quickly I was astonished. Very little delay in loading up after login. Beyond that, applications are clearly snappy, especially with multiple apps open and being navigated\used. Spotlight seems...no IS lighting fast compared to before when it was merely supersonic.
This is exactly the sort of post I would attribute to an over excited Mac user, as so many of us are. Clearly I am imagining it or otherwise exaggerating, right?
I saw nothing in the update that I would attribute to this. Maybe it's just because it's been ages since my last reboot?
Any one else notice a difference after installing the 10.4.7 update? Of any kind?

Yes, I believe that's a big part of it. I do that and have never had an issue. However, I do not use any computer while it's doing an update, either. I know that's really not necessary, but it's only a few minutes. I've always got something else I can do. In addition, nothing external is plugged in - and that's easy too, as my printer is now wireless and just sits there all by its lonesome.

Go here http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1582, download the update file and run it. Ideally, start up in Safe Mode when you do the update.
