Return order on the basis of multiple invoice

Greetings to All
The scenario is that the return order is to be created with reference to multiple invoice. When i am doing the same by taking the reference twice, i.e I goto Sales Document tab and click Create with Reference twice and in the second time i give different document no. which copies the line item of the 2nd invoice document. But the reference document remains the first invoice in the return process. Is it possible to do the return order with reference to multiple invoice and the reference document getting reflected in the return process.
Regards
Parul

I think you need to look for the reference at the item level. I guess you are currently looking at it at the header level. I am not sure if i am right.Please check if this works.

Mani

    Prod2 ent1 700
    Prod1 ent1 678
    prod3 ent1 500

    If you are using the classic addin or report scripts, you can get the values in decreasing order. To do it in the add-in you can either use freeform with a report script or better yet, use the query designer to create and save the report. IF you are using a report script, you can set a sort descending and also a top x to only bring back a certain number of members. I'm not sure if the same is available through smartview. Using MDX you can do a topcount function

    Hello PP Gurus,
    Is it possible to trigger a service order at the time of despatch(invoicing).If yes how.

    I think it is not possible in standard SAP.
    You  have to go for enhancement(user exit).

  • LOV does not return value to the base page sometimes

    Hi,
    I have created messageLOV type items. These LOVs do return value to the base page usually. We have a user in Uruguay who is trying to use the page which has the LOVs. He says the LOV takes a long time to return to the main page after he clicks on quick select and also the value does not get populated in the main page.
    We have not been facing any such problem here in India. The LOV has been tested rigorously with no issues as such.
    Can you please suggest a reason why such a problem is occuring? Expecting your replies soon
    Thanks,
    Priya

    Thiyaga, did you read the devguide or the tutorial ?
    Can you please give me the inputs about the creation of LOV and it requires how many lov mappings as mandatory?
    This is there in the devguideHow to identify the mapping fields of an LOV which is already existing in the base page to reproduce in a similar way and need to do a customization on top of it ?
    Open the page XML and you can find the LOV mappings.Tapash

  • How can I Create return order with reference to an ARCHIVED invoice

    The standard "Reference" process does not work when the invoice has been archived. Has anyone solved this problem?

    This is because the archived document is not available in the database and the archived document can be used only for viewing the data. Normally only very old documents (like more than 7-10 years old) are archived, so I am just surprised, why a return order is created for a very old document (sales process)?

  • The LOV modal window could not return value to the base page

    when practicing the "create1" task in tutorial, met an issue.
    when create an employee, manageName is a messageLovInput and managerID is a messageTextInput.
    The issue is the LOV modal window could not return value to the mangerName, but can return to managerID .
    If I remove the data boud porperties of the managerName (the bc4j porperties of view name-EmpFullVO and view attribute-MgrName), the lov works fine.
    What is the reason?

    James I would suggest to read the LOV topic in OAF developers' guide. Lov mappings are responsible for bringing pop up values to base page in LOV.

  • Introspector calling the Base Class multiple times

    Hi
    I am having a Java Bean C (which extends B which in turn extends A) ...and each of these Classes have the BeanInfo classes .. ABeanInfo , BBeanInfo , CBeanInfo....
    And i had written my beaninfos such a way that they are optimised by extending the basebeaninfo and calling super.getPropertyDescriptors and adding them to the Descriptoirs of extra methods like
    Class A
    private String name;
    public void getName()
    Class B extends A
    private String city ;
    public void getCity
    class ABeanInfo extends SimpleBeanInfo
    public PropertyDescriptors[] getPropertyDescriptors()
    // Got the property descriptor for name
    // return by forming array
    My Class B bean info will look like this
    class BBeanInfo extends ABeanInfo
    public PropertyDescriptors[] getPropertyDescriptors()
    PropertyDescriptors[] baseDesc = super.getPropertyDescriptors();
    // Get the property descriptor for City
    // Club the base class desc and the new ones added
    // return by forming array
    But when i use Introspector.getBeanInfo(B.class) , the A.getPropertyDescriptors method is getting called twice (One internally by the introspector and the other when my super.get...)
    How can this be avoided ?? Ofcourse after the first time , the introspector is caching the instances of BeanInfos...
    If this is the implicit behaviour , can i change my BeanInfo classses in such a way that it won't get called

    Why is this a problem?

  • Split transfer order on the basis of Storage Unit type(SUT)

    Hi,
    I got one problem and want the solution for that immediately.the problem is as follows:-
    The transfer Order needs to be split by quantity according to the quantity per Storage Unit Type.
    I have to do this making chages in the SAP standard user Exit EXIT_SAPLL03A_12 in the program SAPML03T.
    Eg.One scenario is provided
    •Scenario 1:     Perform transaction MIGO with a movement type ‘101’ for Outbound Delivery 80000201. Enter a quantity of 15 kgs.
    the result should be as follows:
    •Scenario 1: Check TO’s created by going to transaction LT22. Enter Warehouse number 200; Storage type 902. Select the Dynamic Selections button and select ‘Transfer order Item’. Double click on Material and enter the material number (W075006). The SUT is 5kg so the expected result is for 3 TO’s to have been created.
    Means one TO got splitted in 3 TOs.
    Please provide me the help.

    Hi Vinay,
    This can be done purely through customizing. Please check IMG -> Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Activities -> Transfers -> Processing Performance Data/Split. You will need to define a sorting profile for TO split in where LETYP (storage unit type) can be used as sorting condition. The sorting profile should then be assigned to defined TO split.
    Hope it helps.
    Have a nice weekend!

  • In return order price should copy from the invoice

    Dear All,
    Greetings for the day,
    We are facing with the below issue, please help to resolve the issue.
    We have one discount condition type; scales have been maintained for that condition type.
    The scales are like below
    Up to 10,000 liters - 0%
    Above 10,000 liters - 5%
    If the quantity coss 10,000 liters then 5 % discount will apply. If the quantity falls below 10,000, then 0% discount will apply.
    In one order, quantity has been crossed 10,000 liters and 5% discount has been applied,
    Customer has returned 500 liters. For this return quantity, business creating the return order with the quantity 500 liters with reference to the Invoice, then system giving the 0% discount as per the scales. It should not happen; business should get back the discount amount for the 500 liters.
    The system should copy the price from the invoice instead of redetermining the price in the return order.
    I have tried with the 'Pricing Type' D (Copy pricing elements unchanged), but it is not working. System redetermining the price in return order.
    Please suggest resolving the issue

    Dear Saju,
    Thanks for your response,
    We are also tried with the routine 'Alternate calculation type', based on this logic system will get the condition amount from invoice and multiply with the return order quantity. Based on this logic, while creating the return order the discount condition type amount calculating as excepted but if we save the return order, condition type is re-determining and overwriting with scale values.
    Please suggest any idea to restrict the pricing re-determine in the return order.
    Thanks,
    Sridhar.

  • Invoice number  - in the return order purchase order tab page

    Hi
    User needs invoice number in the PO Tab  of the return order when Created with reference to invoice .
    usually PO number of the Sales order will be comming .
    what needs to be done for this

    Hi,
    If you are creating Return order with respect to Invoice then you can write a Data transfer routine for business data to copy invoice no to PO no field in VTFA .

  • Recalculation of quantity in free goods for return order wrf to invoice

    Hello everyone,
    I want to recalculate quantity of free goods category in a return order created with reference to an invoice, if the quantity in the High Level Item Category has changed.
    For example, a customer bought 100 boxes of product "A " and received 10 of these for free. Then he wants to return 60 boxes. When I create a return order with reference to the invoice and change these quantity from 100 to 60, free goods item category still shows 10 boxes instead of 6.
    Recalculation must be take place acording to the pricing date determination in order to apply free goods in a valid date.
    Customized features reviewing:
    1. There's not Item Category Proposal for Target Sales Doc type of the Return order, but item category of source bill type has one an is set to Pricing Type "D".
    2. High Level Item category of free goods category is relevant for billing and is set to M "Delivery - related invoices-no zero qtys (in main bath items)"
    3. Free goods category assigment has NORM as item Category Group, FREE ussage, High Level Item category is determinated for return order document type and Item category by default is the free goods category.
    I will appreciate your support to solve this issue.
    Best Regards,
    Andrea Figueroa

    Hello,
    Thank you for your response.
    My Discount Type of Free Goods determination is set to:
    Calculation Rule: "2 - Unit reference"
    Free Goods Category: "1 - Inclusive rebate (with item generation)"
    Free Goods delivery control: "C - Delivery of main item is part. delivered, only with main item"
    However, whatever the calculation rule is, if I change the quantity in the main item, subitem does not work.
    I read about SAP Note 573598 that describes perfectly my problem, but is valid in 4.6 to 4.7 version and I have ERP version.
    Thank for your help,
    Andrea Figueroa

  • Restrict new price conditions in the return order and credit note

    Dear Expert
    We are facing a scenario where we make return order; the Price is copied from the invoice. And it is working perfectly. The system does not allow us to change the price.
    The issue we are facing here is that user can input new condition like discount /premium and change the net value for the return order pricing, and this will reflect in the credit note for returns.
    Is there a way to restrict the user from entering any pricing condition in the header or item conditions tab.
    although we cannot change the original price coming from invoice referenced for return order, but the user can input new price conditions as below. This must not be allowed.
    The price must come according to the Qty being referenced.
    While making the credit for returns, the user has a chance of further making changes to the net value by adding new conditions. Hence this must also be restricted for any changes.
    Thanks

    Hi
    Firstly,In copy control maintain anyone of the pricing types
    D: Copy pricing elements unchanged
    E: Copy pricing elements and values unchanged
    To avoid all these things go with  USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION but before going with the user exit,also check with transaction variant SHD0.

  • Returns order against a Cancelled Invoice

    Dear Friends,
    System is allowing to create a returns order with reference to a cancelled invoice which I want to control now.I have seen some posts regarding this issue.
    Based on those posts, I have checked the Copy Control settings and they are in line with what has been suggested.
    The Other suggestion was to assign the completion rule to the Item category as B. I have assigned and tested. but still the system is allowing to create a Returns order wrt Cancelled invoice.
    Any more suggestions or corrections required?
    Regards,
    Ajit

    Hi
    RE and S2 are standard document types, check remove copy control between your document types which may cusmtomized versions of standard types.

  • Block Order TECO on the basis of operation User Status

    Hi Experts,
    I am trying to restrict the TECO of maintenance order on the basis of order operation status. I have configured the user status profile and assigned it to order operation. This user status profile have two statuses, INCL - Incomplete and another is CMPL - Complete. I have prohibited the TECO for user status INCL. But when I create an order and try to TECO, the system allows me TECO it enenif the operation user status is INCL.
    Could you Pl. tell me, have I missed something in configuration?

    Dattatraya,
    Actually you can control TECO by completion confirmation of order operation as PCNF ( partial confirmation) for operation which you have mentioned in Order. So you can set up in configuration like allow TECO only once CNF ( Full confirmation ) for all operations mentioned in Order.
    For your mentioned scenario , I dont feel based on user status you can stop the TECO, anyway you can check with other experts as well.
