Return to a first time state ...

Hi everyone, I have an app that have a "return" button, this button is used when the user wants to return to a previous view, these previous view is the "main view" where the application starts and also the component controller, the problem is that I need to reload all the app (like a first time state) but I´m not sure if calling the wdDoInit of the component controller makes the job. ¿

Hi,
Anyway you want to load the entire screen and nodes again. So why dont you navigate to your applicaton again using the below code.
For example:
You have
App1 ---> Window1 ---> View1 (DefaultView)
               Window1 ---> View2
You are navigating from View1 to View2. When user clicks on View2 invoke App1 which loads all the application again. Use this below code to navigate to application.
// Get name of deployable object this component belongs to
String deployableObjectName =
wdComponentAPI.getDeployableObjectPart().getDeployableObjectName();
try {
// Get deployable object part of target application.
// Precondition: assume, that other application belongs to the same
// Web Dynpro Project (Deployable Object)
WDDeployableObjectPart deployableObjectPart =
WDDeployableObject.getDeployableObjectPart(
deployableObjectName,
"App1",
WDDeployableObjectPartType.APPLICATION);
// Get target URL based on deployable object part and URL parameters
String urlToTargetApp =
WDURLGenerator.getApplicationURL(deployableObjectPart, urlParameters);
// Fire exit plug to target URL via IPublic-API of used interface view
// controller
wdThis.wdGetStartCompInterfaceViewController()
.wdFirePlugStartAppExit(urlToTargetApp);
} catch (WDURLException e) {
messageMgr.reportException(e.getLocalizedMessage(), false);
} catch (WDDeploymentException ex) {
messageMgr.reportException(ex.getLocalizedMessage(), false);

  • Will OneKey Recovery return the Y2P to pre-first boot state?

    Has anyone used the Lenovo OneKey Recovery System?  Will it return the Y2P to is pre-first boot state?
    When I buy a new laptop I always make a restore image of the entire drive before I do anything else so that I can return it to its original state if needed.
    Here is how I usually do it:
    1. Before powering on for the first time, I open the CD/DVD drive with a paperclip and insert an imaging boot disk (usually Acronis).
    2. I attach an external USB hard drive.
    3. I then power on for the first time and interrupt the boot up and force it to boot from the CD.  (I also change the BIOS settings if needed to enable CD boot if needed.)
    4. Then I create an image of all the partitions on the internal hard drive to the external hard drive.
    I'll use Lenovo OneKey Recovery System if that will do what I want...  but if not, I wonder if I can do something similar with the Y2P.  Since there is no CD drive, I wonder if it is possible to boot to a USB thumb drive.  Does anyone know if that is possible with the Y2P, and how to configure that in the BIOS?
    If so, I will try a bootable USB thumb drive with imaging software on it and an external hard drive connected to the other USB port.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi gregfromutah,
    Yes OneKey Recovery will restore your lapptop to its factory state, provided that you haven't deleted the recovery partition on your hard drive. More details there: http://support.lenovo.com/en_AU/diagnose-and-fix/detail.page?DocID=HT077084
    And yes you can create recovery media on a bootable usb stick instead of discs.
    Type "Recovery" on the start screen and click One Key Recovery 2. On the One Key Recovery application, select System Backup 3. Follow the screen instructions.
    The usb stick must be at least 16GB.

  • Hi can anyone please help me! My I phone is in recovery mode i lost it and it was returned to me fully working. I ran an update and it shut down. I have loads of pics and vids of my little girls including my youngest counting to ten for the first time.

    Hi can anyone please help. My I Phone is in recovery mode. I have loads of pics and vids including my little girl counting to ten for the first time.
    Can I recover these files or have I lost them? I lost the phone last week and it was returned working but with an update to install I did this and it shut down.
    If anyone can please help I would be eternally in your debt I have loads of sentimental pctures in here but cant get to them.

    Sorry, but if it's in recovery mode, anything on the phone is already gone. If you had PhotoStream turned on, hopefully the photos will still be out there.
    You have no choice at this point but to restore from your last backup.

  • My iPad Mini was locked up today (for the first time) on a boot screen, with a Debugger Message: Panic. Should I bother trying to fix, or return to store?

    My iPad Mini locked up for the first time today. A boot screen, with among many other things, a Debugger Message: Panic. Is there a fix for this even though I can't seem to even get it to reboot past this error, or am I wasting my time and need to return it?

    if it is still within the return period, return it.  Why try and fix a new iPad.

  • First time going to a site where I do not have access and clicking the back button I'm returned to the root site instead of the site I started from

    Greetings,
    I have SharePoint 2013 enterprise using ADFS for authentication.  I have an issue where the first time going to a site where you do not have access and clicking the back button you're returned to the root site instead of the site you
    started from.
    ie:
    1) at site http://www.sharepoint.com/sites/finance/home.aspx
    2) browse to
    http://www.sharepoint.com/sites/finance/private/home.aspx
    3) receive a message: you do not have access to this site  ((oops went to the wrong location - I'll hit the back button))
    4) click the browser back button
    5) get returned to http://www.sharepoint.com/pages/home.aspx
    This only happens the first time browsing to a site that I do not have rights to, after this I can browse to the same site and hit the browser back  button and return to the correct site, or any other site that I do not have access to.
    Any ideas as to why this happens?  Ideas of where to start looking?
    Thanks

    Hi Robert,
    From your description, when you receive access denied message and hit back button in browser, it redirects you to the root site but not previous site. However, this just happens at the first time.
    You may try to use some tool or check log which can tell us how does it handle the request when you hit the button. And compare the issue time and non-issue time.
    I'd suggest you use Netmon tool:

  • BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL returns empty item[], condition[] first time

    Hi Expert,
    I have implimented BADI BBP_DRIVER_DETERMINE and assign custom FM zB46B_DPO_TRANSFER to create PO in backend system.
    When I create PO and order it first time... FM zB46B_DPO_TRANSFER is getting called where I want to read PO item condition using FM BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL and pass to fm which creates PO in backend.
    FM BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL is returning blank table PRIDOC[] (pricing data).
    I pass guid of the PO to the FM to get the details.
    for the saved PO it return every details perfectly.
    Do I need to read from buffer or what... how ???
    Thanks,
    Rajesh.

    hi ,
      Try to read from buffer.
      The below code will work in change Badi so definitely it will work in your badi also.
         DATA: lo_pd_model TYPE REF TO /sapsrm/if_pdo_model_access.
          lo_pd_model = /sapsrm/cl_pdo_model_factory=>get_instance( ).
      lo_pd_model->get_detail(
        EXPORTING
          iv_guid          = is_header-guid
          iv_with_itemdata = abap_TRUE
        IMPORTING
          es_header        = li_header
          ET_PRIDOC        = LT_PRIDOC ).
    if the above method is not working then get the buffer instance for /SAPSRM/CL_PDO_BO_PO_ADV.
    data   lo_pdo_po              TYPE REF TO /sapsrm/if_pdo_bo_po_adv.
      CALL METHOD /sapsrm/cl_pdo_factory_po_adv=>get_buffered_instance
        EXPORTING
          iv_header_guid = ls_header-guid
        RECEIVING
          ro_instance    = lo_pdo_po.
      check the implementation class  /SAPSRM/CL_PDO_BO_PO_ADV which method is suitable to get the condition records.
       the below code is sample method how to call ....
    TRY.
          CALL METHOD lo_pdo_po->/sapsrm/if_pdo_do_schedules~get_schedule_line
            EXPORTING
              iv_item_guid         = ls_item-guid
            IMPORTING
              et_sdln              = lt_sdln

  • ...here goes...i plugged my iphone into my computer for the first time to charge it, and walked away....when i returned it showed i had to open an account, ... my phone was charged, but the problem is it deleted all my pics and my contacts.....  is there

    i plugged my iphone into my computer for the first time to charge it and was in a hurry and walked away, when i returned the add apple i tunes account information screen was up.....
    my problem is, all my pictures got deleted from my phone, all my contacts got deleted also......weird thing is it put pictures on my phone from another phone and also txt msg from another phone......  has this ever happened to anyone else? if so,....do you know how, or where the pictures got moved to? and if they were deleted, is there a way to pull deleted pictures form a phones memory??   thank you any body that can give me any assistance....i really need it...

    It can't do that by itself. You had to click through several prompts telling it to restore it from a backup of an old phone for that to happen.
    If the phone was not backed up to iCloud before this happened, or to another computer, then the data is gone. There is no way to recover it.

  • Invalid state when running first time after compile

    Often I will compile a package body without errors.
    The first time I run it, I will get the package is in an invalid state. The second time I run the package it will run fine.
    What is going on?

    Dose it happen always ? Check if any object is getting changed. Is your package doing any thing which might be altering any objects being used by the package.

  • Select statement is taking lot of time for the first time Execution.?

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing the following issue. I am using one select statement to retrieve all the contracts from the table CACS_CTRTBU according to FOR ALL ENTRIES restriction.
    if p_lt_zcacs[] is not initial.
    SELECT
               appl ctrtbu_id version gpart
               busi_begin busi_end tech_begin tech_end
               flg_cancel_obj flg_cancel_vers int_title
             FROM cacs_ctrtbu INTO TABLE lt_cacs FOR ALL ENTRIES IN p_lt_zcacs
                                                    WHERE
                                                    appl EQ gv_appl
                                                    AND ctrtbu_id EQ p_lt_zcacs-ctrtbu_id
                                                    AND  ( flg_cancel_vers EQ '' OR version EQ '000000' )
                                                    AND flg_cancel_obj EQ ''
                                                    AND busi_begin LE p_busbegin
                                                    AND busi_end GT p_busbegin.
    endif.
    The WHERE condition is in order with the available Index. The index has  APPL,CTRTBU_ID,FLG_CANCEL_VERS and FLG_CANCEL_OBJ.
    The technical settings of table CACS_CTRTBU says that the "Buffering is not allowed"
    Now the problem is , for the first time execution of this select statement, with 1.5 lakh entries in P_LT_ZCACS table, the select statement takes 3 minutes.
    If I execute this select statement again, in another run with Exactly the same parameter values and number of entries in P_LT_ZCACS ( i.e 1.5 lakh entries), it gets executed in 3-4 seconds.
    What can be the issue in this case? Why first execution takes longer time?.. Or is there any way to modify the Select statemnt to get better performance.
    Thanks in advance

    Sounds like caching or buffering in some layer down the i/o stack. Your first execution
    seems to do the "physical I/O" where your following executions can use the caches / buffers
    that are filled by your first exectution.

    If modifying your SELECTS statement or your indexes could help depends on your access details:
    does your internal table P_LT_ZCACS  contain duplicates?
    how do your indexes look like?
    how does your execution plan look like?
    what are your execution figures in ST05 - Statement Summary?
    (nr. of executions, records in total, total time, time per execuiton,  records per execution, time per record,...)
    Kind regards,
    Hermann

  • Suspends fails the first time, but succeeds the second time

    Hi all,
    I am running Arch Linux on my Dell XPS 15 9530 laptop, and overall I am very happy with the combination. I have however had some issues with suspending.
    The problem is that the first time I try to suspend the machine it seems to go to sleep, but then two seconds later it automatically wakes up again. If I then immediately try again to suspend, it works (it does not wake up automatically). Does anyone know what could be going on, and how this can be fixed?
    Usually I suspend from my gnome 3 desktop, but I have also tried to suspend directly using 'systemctl suspend' without having an X server running, and the result is exactly the same. I have tried a few versions of the vanilla kernel, but also the linux-lts and the linux-ck images, but to no avail.
    Here is the output from dmesg, where suspend fails:

    Thanks for the response. I should have said so, but I had already tried that, but without any luck. It seems like it doesn't change anything.

  • Using time machine for the first time in a while

    Hi all,
    I just tried backing up my laptop for the first time in ages with time machine. However , it seems to get stuck on "preparing the back up" and never actually starts the backup.
    The external drive I'm  using has been used before for backups,and the icon is the bluey colour it should be on my desktop as the back up location, however the back up simply won't start.
    I should mention that I have upgraded this laptop to another newer model which I since returned and went back to this older model. I also replaced the hard drive, and this is the first time im trying a time machine backup since those two changes
    Not many options I can play with so I can't see why it doesn't start the back up...it never took a longtime before to start...
    Could it be anything to do with space? Now the comp has about 490gb needing back up and there's only 100gb of space on the ext hd,because there's about 400gb of previous back ups on there. I didn't think this would be a problem though as I understood time machine just erases old backups when it doesn't have space
    Any suggestions welcome! Thx in advance!
    Both laptop capacity and ext hd are 500gb

    Couple of clarifying questions:
    1) How long are you waiting?
    2) Have you upgraded the OS to Lion?
    When I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion, the first few time machines took hours 'preparing to backup' before the actual backup to occur. We're talking 6+ hours. I'd usually leave it over night to backup. Even my last fresh reinstall of Lion took about 20min to prepare the first time. Now the hourly backups take maybe 1min total.
    My suggestion is to leave it over night and see what happens. It very well could be that the differences between your last backup and current machine state is so different it's taking a long time to determine all the changes.

  • Content not appearing after first time

    I could really do with some help on this one.
    I have a screen (State) in my application that displays some
    custom mxml components using a repeater. The first time I come to
    this screen, all the data appears correctly. However if I navigate
    away from this screen to another screen (State), then return to it,
    all that appears is a scroll bar, with no custom components
    appearing.
    I would appreciate if anyone can take a peek at my code below
    to try and identify the problem. Perhaps this is a problem others
    have experienced?
    The relevant code is as follows:
    <mx:State name="ComponentFolderScreen"
    basedOn="QualificationSummaryScreen">
    <mx:RemoveChild
    target="{qualificationSummaryScreenDG}"/>
    <mx:AddChild relativeTo="{vbox1}"
    position="lastChild">
    <mx:Tile autoLayout="true" width="740" height="230"
    id="tile1" borderStyle="none">
    <mx:Repeater id="productsRepeater"
    dataProvider="{this.category1}" >
    <local:ComFolderItem
    mouseOver="CFSMouseOver_Folder(event)"
    click="CFSClick_Folder(event)"
    studentName='{productsRepeater.currentItem.productName + "(" +
    productsRepeater.currentItem.productPrice + ")"}'
    componentStatus='{productsRepeater.currentItem.componentStatus}'
    >
    </local:ComFolderItem>
    </mx:Repeater>
    </mx:Tile>
    </mx:AddChild>
    </mx:State>
    And here is the code that populates the ArrayCollection that
    is the dataprovider
    var ComponentFolderData:ArrayCollection = new
    ArrayCollection();
    ComponentFolderData =
    _dataManager.returnComponentFolderData(componentCode);
    var howManyObjects:uint = ComponentFolderData.length;
    var objectInstance:Object = new Object();
    category1 = new ArrayCollection();
    for (var objectIndex:uint = 0; objectIndex <
    howManyObjects; objectIndex++) {
    objectInstance.productName =
    ComponentFolderData.getItemAt(objectIndex).productName;
    objectInstance.componentStatus =
    ComponentFolderData.getItemAt(objectIndex).componentStatus;
    category1.addItem(objectInstance);

    Hi there
    600 seconds? Seriously? OMG, that's ten minutes!
    Personally, I would never recommend having a slide longer
    than maybe ten
    seconds. I'm not sure how you even manage a timeline that
    long.
    At any rate, whatever floats your boat I suppose. My guess is
    that you have some object (Click Box, Button or Text Entry Box)
    that is sitting on the timeline and pausing things before the
    button you wish to see has a chance to appear.
    Cheers... Rick
