blue screen of death can be cause by several things:
hard drive failure, memory failure, virus in operating system files, and more
when you got a blue screen of death, next time that shows up, there's sometimes say "technical information" and blah blah blah blah. google that information up. sometimes they can tell you what exactly is wrong with it.
if you have restored your operating system several times already, and still getting "virus" that's causing blue screen of death, could be your RESTORE CD is F**K up.
ok that's one option, another one is:
    1) reformat it AGAIN.
    2) don't download anything, don't use bit torrent, dc-2
if u still get bsod and then do this:
    buy this:
Model: WD2500BEVSRTL1 | SKU: 9024147it's an internal hard drive for xps laptop (sata)
swipe it out, install ur restore cd of operation on it
if u don't get bsod anymore, that means u're previous hard drive is a bad hard drive.
or just send ur laptop straight to manufacture, don't go through geek squad. lets  see what dell says about it.

  • SOAP Axis adapter_Encryption via Client Certificate not working

    Dear Experts,
Could anyone please share the steps to enable encryption via client certificate in SOAP AXIS receiver adapter.
I am able to do the same using normal SOAP adapter but with AXIS framework the steps are not working.
I have come across few sdn links to configure axis framework for authentication using wsse security standard but this seems to be different as it requires user and password whereas with certificates we are not given any user/password.
    Please provide some valuable inputs.

  • HTTPS connection with client certificate not working in spartan

Spartan does not show certificate for the user to select
when I click the https link.
The certificates (taken from a smartcard) are indeed present in the user CertStore.
It works with IE 11 and Chrome.
    Has somebody any suggestions ?
    Thanks.

in fact you are more using a reverse-proxy than a proxy since it is on the server part..
You have to put all the SSL server part on the reserve-proxy itself and not on the final RSS feed. Then, the reverse-proxy will authenticate your client and gets its certificate. After that, either this proxy will open a plain connection (no ssl) towards the RSS, or you can also open a ssl connection but this means you must create a client certificate for the proxy. It just depends on the security level you need, and I used this solution many times in professional hosting.
    hope it helps !

  • Client Authentication certificate not working in ADFS3.0

    Hi,
I am currently working on integrating ADFS 3.o for Single Sign On to some 3rd party services along with PKI solution. The basic requirement is that I should be able to choose client authentication certificate as an authentication method in ADFS and then
federate user credentials to 3rd party trust for single-sign-on.
I had done this successfully with ADFS 2.0 and that setup is working fine. I have the setup as ADFS 3.0 client authentication method enabled. When I open browser to logon, the ADFS 3.0 page displays a message as "Select a certificate that you want to
use for authentication. If you cancel the operation, please close your browser and try again." but the certificates are not displayed for selection.
The certificates are valid and have valid chaining to CA. Could someone help me resolve this issue?
    Thanks!
    -Chinmaya Karve

I am also having this problem where the certificate dialog (Windows Security is usually the title) is never prompted to the user. I tried it on several computers which are all part of the domain. The same computers can also login on another ADFS, so I have
    working certificates.
I just get a page where a text says I should select a certificate but I never get the dialog to do so.
    Any updates on this issue?

  • X.509 client certificate not working through Reverse proxy

    Dear expert,
We are working on fiori infrastructure. Our current scope is to enable X.509 authentication for both internet and intranet. However, the intranet scenario for X.509 authentication is working fine but internet is not, we got error message of "Base64 decoding of certificate failed". For landscape, the only difference between internet and intranet is we have apache reverse proxy in DMZ. We are using gateway as fron-end server, business suite and HANA in the back-end.
As X.509 authentication works fine under intranet scenario, we assume that the configuration for X.509 for both front-end and back-end are correct. With that assumption, the issue would exist in reverse proxy. We are using apache 2.4.7 with openssl 1.0.1e, but we have upgraded the openssl to the latest version 1.0.1h for SSL certificate generation. Below are the apache configuration for X.509.

    Hi Samuli,
    Really thanks for your reply.
Yes, we have tried your suggestion above in the apache configure file above, but when testing the HANA service, we got error message "Certificate could not be authenticated".
Yes, web dispatcher makes the X.509 authentication much easier as under intranet scenario, no DMZ between browser and web dispatcher. Client certificate pass through web dispatcher directly and it works perfectly this way. Not sure why it doesn' t work through apache reverse proxy.

  • Multiple Exchange accounts and client certificates not working...?

    Hi all,
I have a problem with my company iPad's. I'm trying to configure 2 Exchange accounts with certificate based authentication on my iPad with the iPhone config utility. For that i have created 2 client certificates.
When I configure just 1 mailbox, does not matter which one of the 2, with the iPhone config util, it al works ok with client authentication.
When I configure 2 mailboxes, on the iPad, without client certificate authentication it al works ok.
When I configure 2 mailboxes with the 2 client certificates with the iPhone config util, both exchange accounts have the same mailbox. When I configure for example mailbox Jim and Harry with the corresponding certificates and I load it into the iPad. The exchange account of Jim has Jim his mailbox, but the exchange account of Harry also has the mailbox of Jim. And sometimes it is vice versa.....
Can anybody help me in this, we are using 4th gen iPad with MS Exchange ActiveSync 2003 SP2 en MS Forefront TMG with Kerberos delegation.
    Please advice.
    Cheers,
    Eddy

    Hi Eddy,
I have the feeling that the SSL connection after being established is only using the first authenticated certificated to connect to the exchange server.
Have you had a look over this Microsoft page:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/ff472472.aspx
Are you able to test 2 accounts on one pad in a test environment preferably with SSL inspection off?
Do you have any information in the Forefront logs of the users being authenticated from the iPad? Or is one user authenticated twice?
    Cheers,
    IhalpU

  • Consuming WS using X.509 certificate not working after NetWeaver 7.02 SP08

    Hi
For more than two years we have had a solution that consumes web services over HTTPS using an X.509 certificate for authentication. Now, after upgrading to NetWeaver 7.02 SP08, the web services no longer work.
Today, roughly a week after the upgrade, all the logical ports have been set by the system to an Inconsistent state, and have been renamed with a prefix of ERROR.
When I try to re-create the logical ports I cannot assign the correct PSE file from STRUST to the newly created Logical Port. Previously, we would go into SM59 and set the SSL Certificate to the PSE containing the client and root certificates. But that option is apparently no longer available, see DUETE - Logical Port for OBAfielReciever.
I have been able to get the HTTPS communication to work again by copying the SSL certificate of the service provider into the PSE ANONYMOUS. But I cannot get the soamanager to use the client certificate, so I always get a "HTTP Code 403  : Client Authentication Error" back when consuming the web service.
Any pointers on how to attach the PSE to the logical port would be appreciated.
    Best regards,
    Bo

    Still no ideas ?

  • I have made the ssl certificates not work

I was notified by my customer that the certificate was due to expire, and at that I started windows SBS console (advanced Mode), and under Network -> connectivity, I selected manage certificates.  I tried to renew, but since they had expired, I
was unable to renew.  I then tried to request new certificate with the same key.  Now I am unable to access RWW since "There is a problem with this website's security certificate", and the selection of continue to this website only allows
you to close this web page.
I have been able to look at the certificate using firefox, and it shows that it was issued to the correct CN but it says that it doesn't recognize the issuer (self issued).   Is it possible that the key has changed, and the public key installer
may not have  been updated?  If so, how do I update that?
    Thank you
    Pat

This is a self signed certificate.  It does not appear that it is expired

    Hi John,
After you trust the file, the script can be run. The first time you run the script, if it's digitally signed but the publisher isn't trusted, you will be prompted to add the publisher among the trusted publishers, and you can choose
the "Always run" option, the code signing certificate will be added to the "Trusted Publishers" in your certificate store, and you will no longer be prompted the next time you execute a script signed with that certificate.
    Refer to:
How to Sign a PowerShell script
If there is anything else regarding this issue, please feel free to post back.

  • Client certificate not working in E51 after FW upd...

In our company we have several E51 phones for using our mobile web services. In some cases we need to use client cetrificates for maximum security.
The situation is: with older firmware versions (100.x/200.x) the certificate and TLS handshakes are working fine, but after upgarding to the latest version (300.x) the browser starts complaining "The operation cannot be completed" when trying to open the https connection. The problem seems to occur in the handshake phase, so debugging and analyzing the problem is very difficult. It's notable that the certificate itself is valid (working with older fw) and is installed just fine. Some cert details: Type: X.509 Algorithm: SHA1RSA
Normal TLS connections without client certs work. The phones have been formatted and no backups have been restored after formatting, so the problem cannot be about old settings messing up the configuration.
Has any other had similar problems and have you been able to solve it somehow?

I am also having this problem where the certificate dialog (Windows Security is usually the title) is never prompted to the user. I tried it on several computers which are all part of the domain. The same computers can also login on another ADFS, so I have

  • IOS 6.1 upgrade, self signed root certificate not working

    Hello,
We have been deploying our organizations self signed root CA to the iPhones with Apple Configurator and using that to confirm the identity of our local webservers.
Has anyone had problems with self signed root certificates after upgrading to 6.1 (same with 6.1.1)?
Safari complains that "Safari cannot verify the identity of "<servername>", Activesync also stopped working.
Any ideas to overcome the issue, other than buying a hundred certs from a trusted ca?

Same thing for me after updating to 6.1.2.  Facebook, gmail, and many US govt sites certificates have been declared invalid by iOS/Safari.  And there is no way to accept and continue, just click "ok" and you are forever prevented from those sites.

    Hi,
Based on your description and this error message, this issue may be caused by:
The Default Web Site is not running and/or has a site binding for SSL (HTTPS).
The Selfupdate virtual directory has the "Require SSL" checked under the SSL settings.
For more details, please refer to the following KB and check if can help you to solve this issue.

  • Password parameter not working while Installing the certificate hosted on a Web Application Server

    Hi,
We are trying to secure our SAP BI Mobile connection with certificates. According to the manual we are storing a password protected certificate on a network location.
On our ipad when I open the link: (according to manual: Administrator and Report Designer's Guide , chapter  4.14.2.1 Installing the x509 Certificate on Device)
    SAPBI://action=downloadcert&certurl=<Download URL>&Password=abc123
It should open and install the certificate in the app without asking for the password. But thats not working. It does ask for the password. So I can access the certificate location and after entering the password it works. But I am giving the password parameter in the link so why is this not working?
The guide is a bit contradictory, and I quote:
"If you access the second link above: The application is launched and the certificate file is downloaded from the URL location (certurl).
The certificate is directly installed on the device."
    But second quote:
    "NOTE:
Since the password is already included in the URL, the application does ask the user for the password...."
My question: what is the use of this password parameter if you still have to enter it manually?
Does anybody know if this should work, and what I  might be doing wrong?
