  • How to Use synchronous RFC calls during test run for remote accesses

there is a Setting for the usage of RFC accesses from a tested system
    using eCATT.
'X' - Use asynchronous RFC calls during test run for remote accesses
' ' - Use synchronous RFC calls during test run for remote accesses
I developed an eCATT as following :
      SAPGUI ( SAPGUI_1 , Target_system_1 ).
      SAPGUI ( SAPGUI_2 , Target_system_2 ).
My question is how to run the eCATT in a synchronous RFC calls
PS: I do not want to change the Target_system to the same one in the
above script of ecatt.Because I need to run it in 2 different Target
    systems sometime.
for example, I give a Target_system_3 when run this eCATT
I want the SAPGUI_1 and SAPGUI_2 run the Target_system_3 but not the
    Target_system_1 or Target_system_2 .
Could you please tell me how to make it without the changes in script?

This is the standard option value. Asynchronous are not the standard way and used only for very special purposes.

The commands will be executed in sequence. So each call will be synchronously replayed against TS1 and TS2.
What is you issue with this standard procedure?

    Hi,
    Please follow this steps:
Creating RFC Destinations in the ABAP and Java Environment
You need to create the following RFC destinations in transaction SM59 (ABAP) and the Visual Administrator (Java):
    u2022 AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER
    u2022 AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER
    u2022 LCRSAPRFC
    u2022 SAPSLDAPI
Depending on your client settings, it may be necessary to be logged on your SAP Exchange Infrastructure host as SAP system user with the authorization to maintain customizing tables and to release transport orders. Note, that user "SAP*" or "DDIC" does not have these authorizations.
Maintaining the RFC Connections (Transaction SM59)
    1. Log on to your SAP Exchange Infrastructure central instance host.
    2. Call transaction SM59.
    3. Choose Create.
    4. Enter at least the following:
    RFC destination: AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER
    Connection type: T
    Description: <your description>
    5. Choose ENTER
    6. Choose the tab Technical settings and do the following:
    a. Select Registered Server Program
    b. In the Program ID field, enter: AI_RUNTIME_<SID> where <SID> is the SAP system ID of your Integration Server host. Use uppercase letters only.
    c. Enter Gateway host and Gateway service of your Integration Server host. To find out the required parameters:
    a. On the Integration Server host, call transaction SMGW
    b. Choose Goto u2192 Parameters u2192 Display (see entries for gateway hostname and gateway service)
    7. Choose tab Special Options and select the flag Unicode in the box Character Width in Target System.
    8. Save your settings.
    9. Repeat the steps 3 u2013 8 for the remaining destinations:
    Destination
    Values
    AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER
Program ID: AI_DIRECTORY_<SID>, where <SID> is the SAP system ID of your SAP XI host
    LCRSAPRFC
Program ID: LCRSAPRFC_<SID>, where <SID> is the SAP system ID of your SAP XI host.
    SAPSLDAPI
Program ID: SAPSLDAPI_<SID>, where <SID> is the SAP system ID of your SAP XI host.
    10. Leave the transaction SM59 open for later tests.
J2EE Configuration for the Destinations (Visual Administrator)
    1. On your SAP Exchange Infrastructure central instance host, start the J2EE Engine administration tool.
    2. Choose Cluster u2192 Server u2192 Services u2192 JCo RFC Provider
    3. In the section RFC destination, enter exactly the same program ID and gateway options for AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER that you used in the step Maintaining the RFC connection above. Additionally, set the number of processes to 10.
    4. In the section Repository, do the following:
    a. Enter the parameter for the SAP XI host: Application Server, System Number, Client and Language.
    b. For User and Password maintain the login parameters for the user SAPJSF.
    c. Select the flag Unicode.
    6. Choose Set.
    7. Repeat the steps 3 u2013 6 for the remaining destinations:
    Destination
    Values
    AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER
    u2022 Corresponding values from SM59
    u2022 Number of processes: 10
    LCRSAPRFC
    u2022 Corresponding values from SM59
    u2022 Number of processes: 3
    SAPSLDAPI
    u2022 Corresponding values from SM59
    u2022 Number of processes: 3
    Testing the RFC Destination
After you have maintained all RFC destinations in both the ABAP and Java environment, you can check all the connections above as follows:
    1. Call transaction SM59 again.
    2. Open your RFC destination.
    3. Choose Test Connection. No error should be displayed.
    This will solve your problem.
    Thanks

  • RFC to get sales orders for customers from r/3 to crm ..

    Hello,
Is there already a FM (RFC) in place to get the list of sales orders from r/3 to crm.
CRM middleware is not configured to get this data from r/3 to crm .. so am looking out for a r/3 FM module which i could call from crm system to get the sales orders as an export parameter ..
    Regards
    Shivani

    Hi,
If you are replicating the sales order from R3 to CRM then you will get all the orders present in CRM. If that is not the case then you need to write one RFC in R3 to get the desired data as R3 is governed by Select queries on tables instead of Function modules in CRM.
So if you want to fetch any information from R3 then you need to create RFC and use select query to get the data.
    Thank you.

  • RFC destination is not maintained for object BUS6001 and method PRECHECKPAY

    Dear all expert,
I am configuring the interface betweeb HR system and FI system. Both of them are R3/4.70.
In BD64 , I add many BAPIs to distrubtion model. But for object BUS6001 I got a error message like the titel .
After check the SM59 WE20 WE21 I am totally confused, because they are OK. I also check the communcation between with the two system by change a old IDoc and send it out to the FI system. It successfully processed.
    Do you have any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance!

You need to create RFC destination for dialog calls. You probably only defined the RFC destination for BAPI calls.

  • Question: Can Jco RFC Provider registers Program Id for BW7.3

    Hello, Friends
I encounter the following issue and I wonder whether it is supported by Netweaver product. Please help answer.
My scenario is to create RFC (TCP/IP Connection) in ABAP server with program id registered by Jco RFC Provider (Visual Admin of NW7.02 Java)
If my ABAP BW NW server is 7.02 version, RFC can be tested successfully. However, for this time, I worked on another ABAP BW NW 7.3 Server and I create the RFC(TCP/IP Connection) with program id registered by Jco RFC Provider. As a
result, the RFC cannot find the program id registered by Jco NW 7.02 Java.  Does Netweaver support ABAP 7.3 RFC with Program id registered by Nw 7.02 java Jco RFC provider?
    Thanks a lot!
    Welkin

    Hi, Ejersbo
If you are using 7.3 portal, you can refer to the following on how to register Jco RFC provider on 7.3 Java:
    (1) Open http://<server>:<port>/nwa
    (2) Search for "Jco RFC destinations", open "Jco RFC destinations"
    (3) Create a Jco RFC destination, with program id in the same name as the one which is used in your ABAP RFC in SM59

  • How can I call RFC FM from webdynpro application for ABAP? Please help!

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirement where I have to make a call to RFC enabled function module passing some data from webdynpro for ABAP application. How can I achieve this? Any tutorial or links or docs will be very helpfull.
I have seen some tutorial on Adaptive RFC but it talks about webdynpro for Java.
Can I use "Call function XYZ destination A10" statement in webdynpro for ABAP application?
    Thanks
    Gopal

am doing same thing for my current SRM implementation.I am taking data to SRM server from another R/3 server .
This is solution I have used
    1) First of all I have made ABAP connection in SM59 .
Go to SM59 .In ABAP Connection creat ABAP connection with system with which u want communicate .
Eg I am connection with Systems PB1.
So i developed Connection call PB1CLNT800.
    2) In my requirement I have taken data in my context from another r/3,
I have give called RFC in my supply function of node.
Call to RFC is as usual.
    In my case,
    CALL FUNCTION 'RFC_MATNR'
    DESTINATION 'PB1CLNT800'
    TABLES
    IT_MATNR = IT_MATNR.
Onwards I have read my itab IT_MATNR and populated data to context.
Hope solution will serve your purpose.
Give point if it works .If any problem i have other ways.
    Cheers

  • RFC SDK connect call fails for NW2004s SPS13 if password in lowercase

    Hi all,
I am running a sample rfc program on solaris m/c.
    SAP server details
    2004s SPS13
I am using a communication user to connect to server using RFC SDK.
If i connect to the server with password in smaller case it gives aerror message
    "Name or password is incorrect"
But if i give the password in capital case,it works fine.
BAsically i have to create a user with acapital password to work fine on SPS13
ON SPS12 it worked fine for lower case password.
    Best Regards

  • RFC Communication Channel only allows for one Logon User

We're currently building a SOAP over HTTPS application in XI where
an RFC communication channel connects to R3 with a logon user id
and logon password (RFC Client Parameter). When updates are made
on the R3 side using BAPI_NETWORK_MAINTAIN (for example), they're all
done with the one logon user id. So fields "Last Changed by" or "Created by" have the
one id, and any approvals can only be done by the one manager over the one id XI uses.
If the external application passed an id (and password if necessary) to
XI, is there any way connect to R3 using the passed id, and not have to
use the one generic id .  If we're limited to the one id, is it
possible on the R3 side to be able to change the id to a passed id that
can then run the BAPI's/RFC's ?

  • RFC works but web service for that RFC does not work..weird??

    hi all,
I created an RFC enabled function module to create a Sales Order in SAP CRM for both for Varinat Configurable and Normal Materials.
The RFC Works well...if i test it..it creates an order and if i go and check the sales order in CRM GUI. i find that sales order is perfect with the configuration data for the configurable items..
Now i created a Web service for this RFC by calling the Web service creation wizard.
Now i am testing the Web service in SOAMANGER T-code and the sales order is created and weird thing the configuration data is missing for Varinat configurable item..
But i dont encounter this problem if i am testing the RFC directly
What could be wrong...why is my web service behaving weird?
I am dying to find this out..did any body enocunter this situation befor ..please help

    Sure Oliver..
I put a break point using external debugger and when i was testing the Web service in SOAMANAGER..
i could then land into ABAP debugger.
There in my RFC i put a logic such that i diffenetiate between VC and Non-VC items and fill the Charateristic Values only if it is aVC item.
I saw that the IF condition was not executing as they suddenly changed the material structure in ECC and it reflected in CRM.
SO i am inputting 18 digits of material no like '000000000000000001' for '1'...but the if condition was checking against 1 =1 so that loop never executed and chara values are not getting filled.
But if i test RFC in se37 ..it works as i am inputting 1...
Since Web service works with XML (WSDL) need to be very careful with the format in which data is inputted and the format in which the logic we wrote in RFC works.
Once again ..thanks to all people who helped me with the answers...
    Regards,
    Jessica Sam

  • I want to create RFC FM to enter data for employee in table pa0001

    hi everyone,
i want to create either a RFC FM or a BAPI to enter employee data in table pa0001.
is there any other way to enter the employee data?
so plz help me by sending regarding RFC/BAPI creation.
    thanx in advance.
    from
    jigar bhatt

    Hi jigar,
    1. HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION
    2. This is the FM to put data
      in infotype 0001 (pa0001 table)
as well as other infotypes also.
    3. But this is a simple FM
       (not rfc enabled)
    4. For your requirement,
       u can create a Z FM,
      which is rfc enabled,
      and inside this Z fm,
      call the HR_INFOTYPE_OPEARATION
    5. Also consider the parameters of this FM,
       while defining your z FM.
    regards,
    amit m.

  • User exit; Article master SAP Retail for MVKE table?

Is there a user exit in SAP Retail for the MVKE table?
The articles is maintained in a third-party system and are transferred to SAP via Idoc. For sales sets, article category = 10, these requires a item category = ERLA in SAP (MVKE-MTPOS) so that the sales set "explodes" in the sales order.
The third-party system doesn't maintain sales org-spesific data for the articles, therefor we use one ref.article for all article groups. And because sales sets exits in many article groups, we found it difficult to have ref.articles for all of these article groups.
Also the article type is also "normal",so the only way to differentiate the sales sets, are via article category. But since SAP has no link between article category and item category in customizing (as far as I know), I wonder if there is a user-exit to set the item category based on the article category?

    Hello Sonika,
WE_PLU is generally used along with the POS interface.
Please check this for more details

Article Master Uploading in IS- Retail system
This is basically your call depending on what data the message type is intended to carry and the use. ARTMAS should be the choice in your case.

  • WF for MVKE-SCMNG

    Hi All,
I have a requirement to trigger a WF upon changing MVKE-SCMNG(Delivering unit) and MVKE-ZZCARTONQTY(Web Qty). I checked in BUS1001 (SAP Material BOR) but did not find these fields in attributes.
I tried adding a virtual attribute to ZBUS1001. But that did not work. Because i was not able to trigger the WF from SWEC upon changing MVKE-SCMNG(Delivering unit).
The other option i was thinking of is to create a custom BOR (MVKE-SCMNG(Delivering unit) and MVKE-ZZCARTONQTY(Web Qty).
Can anyone please let me know if there is other way to

    Hello Karuna !
Your requirement is to trigger the workflow when there is a change in SCMNG(Delivering unit) and ZZCARTONQTY(Web Qty). of MVKE table.
I belive the business object BUS1001006 should work.Create a database attribute for the above two fields in its subtype and delegate it to business object BUS1001006.Also, ensure that you have implemented, released and generated the business object.
For triggering, I hope you should go either BAdI or user exit provided no events are raised in event trace(when trace is  switched-on) when changes to above fields are saved and correct change documnet is configured in SWEC.
Can you share with us the tranaction code where the the field values are changed ?Is it MM02 ?

  • Default values for MVKE in MM01/MM02

    Hi All,
If user changes any data in MM02/create material in MM01 , then I need to default some values in MVKE table( say MVKE-PRAT2, Standard SAP Field).
I have tried with User exits and badi, but nothing works .
EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001   ZXMG0U02 (cannot change MVKE fields)
BADI_MATERIAL_CHECK(same as the above user exit)
BADI_MATERIAL_REF ( looks to be works only when extending and creation of new material)
Can somebody help to advise , is there any other user exit/method to update the MVKE fields in MM01/MM02.?
    Thanks a lot.

There are many Implicit Enhancement points in the PBO modules of SAPLMGMM. You might want to play with one of those, see where MVKE is getting populated/initialized and pre-populate it there.
