RMBWV313 and setup

Hi All,
We are at the stage where we have our last remaining records filled in the setup table on R/3.  I want to verify the remaining steps.
1. Do we kick off a Delta Init Infopackage in BW, then schedule program RMBWV313 in R/3 to run nightly. 
Doing this above, is this correct.  Is the Delta queue now in sync?  Is it absolutley mandatory that setup table be filled during off hours (nobody in system, even if billing documents are not updated)?
In LBWE in R/3 I clicked the job control link for VDITM and input parameters to kick off periodically (daily) at a particular time).  I tested this in our Dev system and no job kicked off.  Can someone explain how to specifically schedule this job periodically.

You have to start the init for LO extractors in R/3, not in BW. TR:LBWG to clear the setup table and TR:OLI3BW (or other OLIxBW transactions) to fill the setup table.
When you schedule the INIT in R/3 make sure that RMBWV313 is NOT scheduled. You should indeed try to perform an init when no orders are created (night or weekend). The filling og the setup table can take very long, but this time can be shortened by having several processes in parallel. Let me know if you need guidance with this.
When the setup is finished in R/3 you need to initialise the LO extractor in BW. This process can also be split into several parallel tasks. When you need guidance, let me know.
AFTER BW is initialised, you can schedule the RMBWxxx jobs with transaction LBWE. When you have entered a scheduling date/time/period don't forget that you have to press an additional button to activate the schedule.
It is best to have this job running several times per day (i.e every hour during office hours).
In BW you'll have to schedule a delta load. This can be done a number of times per day. We do it once per day.
If you must initialise while users are on the system you can do this as follows:
A LIITLE BIT FUZZY APPROACH FOLLOWS -
- Make sure that in BW you use an ODS to receive the init and delta loads. Make sure that all update rules are set to OVERWRITE.
- Schedule the SETUP (starting at 00:01 at night) and  setup the delta extraction in BW.
- Now, you may have missed some documents in R/3 that where created during the day. Look in the appropriat R/3 table (EKET, VBAK, etc) to find orders with a creation or change date of the day if your setup.
- You can now fill the SETUP table for just the orders that you missed. This will be a fraction of the total load and it should run for just a few seconds or minutes.
- In BW use a REPAIR FULL request to load the extra records from the setup table into the ODS.
- The last 2 steps should be done while no orders are created. Also, just before you start this second SETUP make sure that all delta records are in BW. The delta queue (TR:RSA7) must be empty for this to work.
