  • Deletion of Approvers for BID WF

    Hi all,
We are running on SRM 4.0.I am implementing the Single approval Wf for BID i.e. WS79000002.Now i want delete all the Agents which the WF fetches from the Org structure and give the facility to the purchaser to ADD the Approvers.
I have been succesful in getting the ADD functionality to work but just had  query regarding the deletion of Approvers which appear in the Approval Preview Screen.
Will the BADI BBP_CHNG_AGNT_GET allow me to delete the Approvers (possible Approvers) selected and whcih appear in the Approval Preview. Also,by doing this ,the Purchaser would also be able to ADD the Actual approvers.
I tried to implement this BADI but this is affecting the ADD APPROVER and ADD REVIEWER functionality also. Can someone throw light on this?
    BR,
    Disha.

    Hi,
Thanks for teh reply. But where can i see the value of IV_FCODE ?Also, how do i debug the transaction through WINGUI?i am unable to do the External Debugging for the BID transaction.
My reqt is that I need to select the Approvers by clicking on the "ADD APPROVER" button.
I have been successful in adding the buttons to the screen but the other poblems whcih i am facing are as  follows:
1.To avoid using the BADI,i havent assigned any head of the dept in the Org structure,so in the Approval Preview,I am not getting any possible agents.
2.Now after this,Through the ADD APPROVER button,i tried adding agents. But here again when i say * and FIND,i can see only 1 user from the ORG STRUCTURE who si  assigned the ROLE "PURCHASE MANAGER" instead of getting the list of  all users.
3.Even after selecting that 1 user as the agent and saving, the Witem doesnt go to that user and also in the Approval Preview i get the message as "IN APPROVAL"  but the name of the Approver/Agent doesnt appear.
Also,in the SPRO customizing for the Task,we haven't done any Agent assignment.Do we need to do any assignemnt there since this si not a  general Task?
Also, another wierd thing observed is that after assigning agent in the "PERFORM TASK_SPECIFIC CUSTOMISING"  based on ROLE "PURCHASE MANAGER",on the Approval preview screen, after clicking on the ADD REVIEWER button, when we say * and FIND,i get to see the user name(On the Left side) and his contact details (On the right side)whereas if the Role assignment is not done in  the SPRO,the USer deatils are not displayed on the right hand side when i say * and FIND.
       Please help.

  • Error during create CR for MDGC "Enter a relevant role for creation of customer master data"

    Hello Experts,
I am unable to create a Customer CR in 'MDG 6.1 Customer UI' , the UI throws an error saying "Enter a relevant role for creation of customer master data".It looks like it is expecting me to mention the BP role ( like FLCU01 Customer or FLCU00 FI Customer ) , but I don't see that BP role section in the Customer UI to mention .
While creating the vendor CR  , I am able to enter the BP role ( like FLVN01 vendor or FLVN00 FI Vendor ) in the UI BP Role section.
Following are the UI's for Customer and Vendor
Customers BS_OVP_BP: BS_OVP_CU > OVP: BS_CU_OVP - I do not see BP role section here.
Vendors BS_OVP_BP: BS_OVP_SP > OVP: BS_SP_OVP - This is working fine  , I see BP role section here.
Please advice what I am missing here , what should I do for the successful CR creation . Should I change the UI for Customers or do I need to do anything in CVI configuration.
    Thanks,

    Hi Abdullah,
You were right in the first place the UIBB is missing  , the UIBB 'Role' was present in the 'Search Customer' page but not available in the 'Create Customer CR' page , so I created the 'Role' UIBB again and was able to create the CR now . Not sure how it got deleted in the first place , is there any options where we reset the UI screen to the default initial configuration
But after approving the CR , only the Business Partner BP is getting created and the Customer is not getting created . Not sure what might be the issue now. Is there any config that tells to automatically create customer when BP is created. I was able to create Vendor using the create Vendor CR before.
    Thanks

  • Help Required in Authorization Roles for Workbooks

    Hi All,
In our project, we have a requirement of creating a role for users with below authorizations.
    1.     Can display and execute the workbooks in the role menu.
    2.     Can create copy workbooks ( Save as) in the role menu.
    3.     Can not delete the original and the copy workbooks from role menu.
We are using an authorization object S_RS_FOLD with u2018FALSEu2019 for restricting the user from deleting workbooks.
We also need to add one more object S_USER_AGR (without u2018Deleteu2019 property) to give the authorization of creating copy workbooks in the role menu.
Object S_RS_FOLD this is working fine without S_USER_AGR. But after adding S_USER_AGR (without delete property), user is again able to delete the workbooks.
So how can we achieve both the functionalities where user can not delete the workbook but can create copy workbooks in the role menu.
    Thanks,
    Sachin

Re: Adding report (query & workbook, templates) in roles
    Go through this thread.
And in our Project we have created one role for accessing workbooks. in that end user can access the work book but saved one and user cannot resave or delete the work book.
we have added Auth objects S_TCODE and S_GUI.
in S_TCODE we have added RRMX and in S_GUI we have given 60(IMPORT) access to the users.
So that they can just share the workbook. nothing else can be done.
Try like this. Hope this would help you.

I have created a seperate role for Transport Package(import/export iviews).
Normally we have transport package functionality in system admin.

1.Copied SAP provided system admin role to a seperate folder.
2.Deleted reamining portal objects(like UWL, portal display etc ..) except transport packege workset.
3.Renamed the role to trans admin.
I have assigned that role to my self, it is working fine to me when i clcik on export and import.I have super admin role.
when i assign this role to some portal users, Export is not working.

  • Role for Vendor Evaluation

    Hi experts
i'd like to know what are the standard role for vendor evaluation and vendor qualify in SRM EBP 7.0.
    Regards
    Andrea

The vendor evaluation questionnaire is always triggred when a the user posts a confirmation RIGHT?
    /SAPSRM/RECIPIENT -SAP SRM Server Role
    com.sap.pct.srm.ro_goodsrecipient-Portal Role
    Supplier Evaluation
You can use Supplier Evaluation in SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) to evaluate your suppliers by means of Web-based surveys. You can tailor individual surveys and questionnaires, and select the criteria to evaluate. You can then transfer the data that you gather from the questionnaires and surveys to SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP BI). You can use this information to help you select suppliers and negotiate conditions.
For more information on reporting in SAP BI, see the SAP NetWeaver documentation on SAP Help Portal at  http://help.sap.com  SAP NetWeaver  SAP NetWeaver <release> Library  SAP Library  SAP NetWeaver Library  BI Content  Supplier Relationship Management  Supplier Evaluation .
    Prerequisites
You need to compile questionnaires using the WebSurvey Cockpit. For more information, see the SAP NetWeaver documentation on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com  SAP NetWeaver  SAP NetWeaver <release> Library  SAP Library  SAP NetWeaver Library  SAP NetWeaver by Key Capability  Application Platform by Key Capability  Business Services  Web Survey .
When you use the Supplier Survey Cockpit (see below), you can access the WebSurvey Cockpit from the SAP NetWeaver Portal. To compile a questionnaire, in this case, click on the Supplier Evaluation tab strip. Then click on Create Questionnaire.
    Features
There are two different methods to collect data to evaluate supplier performance:
Event-driven evaluation. For example, when saving an invoice, a questionnaire is presented to the user
Ad-hoc evaluation through surveys managed with the Supplier Survey Cockpit
    Event-Driven Evaluation
SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) supports event-driven questionnaires for two specific occasions:
    Saving of a confirmation
    Saving of an invoice
    Note
The event-driven evaluation and the ad-hoc evaluation use separate InfoProviders in SAP NetWeaver BI. The InfoProvider that is used for event-driven evaluation is also used for evaluation triggered from out of the Advanced Supplier List.
    End of the note.
These events trigger a questionnaire, which pops up on the screen or enable a button to open the questionnaire. To carry out event-driven evaluation, you first have to specify in Customizing when and under which circumstances you want the evaluation to take place. For example, you can define that the evaluation is to occur for certain product categories, or suppliers, or purchasing organizations. You can also define the frequency (for example, every invoice/confirmation, or every second invoice/confirmation, and so on). For more information, see Customizing:  Integration with Other SAP Components  Data Transfer to the SAP Business Information Warehouse  Settings for Application-Specific DataSources (SRM)  Define Events for Supplier Evaluation in SRM
    Process
Supplier Evaluation is used in the Confirmation and Invoice applications to evaluate day-to-day activities on the basis of operational documents. It can also be used from the Approved Supplier List.

    Ad-Hoc Evaluation: Supplier Survey Cockpit
The Supplier Survey Cockpit is an application with which you can manage surveys to gain information about your suppliers. After completion of a survey, the survey data is transferred to SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI) for reporting. Analyzing the survey outcomes in SAP NetWeaver BI helps you to always be up on your suppliers' performance regarding, for example, reliability, quality, and service.
The Supplier Survey Cockpit enables you to gather information independently of a certain purchasing event. With the Supplier Survey Cockpit, you can do the following:
    Set up a survey
Assign a questionnaire to the survey
Distribute the questionnaire via e-mail and
    Monitor the responses
    Features
To access the Supplier Survey Cockpit, choose Supplier Evaluation and then Survey Management under Detailed Navigation.
By default, you find three queries: A survey query, a survey package query, and a survey monitor query. Depending on the query you choose, the table below the queries displays different information.
To manage surveys, choose the survey query. Click on Create to create a new survey. Select a survey from the table and click on Display, Edit, or Delete to display, change, or delete a survey.
To manage survey packages, choose the survey package query and click on the corresponding buttons.
To download the table contents in MS Excel format, click on Export.
For more information on the queries, which serve to monitor surveys, see Survey Monitoring.

  • Selection of approvers for Bid

    Hello all,
My one more thread is going on for Bid approval workflow problem. But since the subject requirement is different opened a new thread.
    Version:
    SRM 4.0SP08 SRM server 5.0
    Set up:
Strategic purchaser has role SAP_BBP_STAL_STRAT_PURCHASER and sap_all.
    Bidders have role of SAP_BBP_STAL_BIDDER
Purchase manager has a role SAP_BBP_STAL_PURCHASE_MANAGER and sap_all
The bidders are assigned to pur org for vendors "Vendor Porg"
    and the same is local.
The bidders are created by strategic purchasers through EBP webpage and
    link "Manage External business partner".
The purchaser manager is the boss of dept where the strat purchaser is
    attached.
Workflow WS79000002 and WS79000010 are active with relevant currency.
    Business Process:
The strat purchaser creates a bid Invitation , assigns bidders and
    publish the same.
The bidders view the Bid Invitation , submit bids against it.
the strat purchaser views the bids, rejects higher bids and accepts the
    lowest bid.
This winning bid is then set in status "awaiting approval" and all the available
managers are shown as the approvers in the approval window.
    Requirement:
    Our client wants that
say 10 purchase managers are assigned to the purchase dept
then the strat purchaser should be able to select the approvers.
He can choose more than one approver and all of these must approve the bid to complete the process.
PL. advise how to map these requirements in SRM.
Masa has already given the BADI BBP_CHNG_AGNT_GET in this relation.
(Hello Masa - Can you please ellaborate? )
    BR
    Dinesh

    Hello Dinesh,
Do you need parallel approval or sequential approval ?
I had similar requirement from customer and finally customer selected just simple 1 step approval. Specifying the approver by manual is not good from SOX compliance point of view.
    Anyway, several possibilities:
    1. If you maintain the Org. has 10 managers, the 10 managers get the approval workitem in his inbox. If one of the managers approve it, the workitem disappears from other manager's inbox. This is still 1 step approval.
    2. The purchaser can change the approver in the preview screen and you can filter the possible selection with the BADI BBP_CHNG_AGNT_GET. Purchaser can also add additional approvers.
    3. Set the approver rules in custom table and implements N-Step approval BADI. This is not manual approver selection.
    4. Manager can forward the workitem to the responsible manager.
    5. Manager can set delegation each other.
I think 2. will fit in your case.
    Regards,
    Masa

  • Report or ways to find who removed portal roles for an user id ?

    Hi Experts,
Scenario: if admin removes super admin role or any other portal role for my id. is there any possibility to see who exactly deleted the roles for my id?
    Many Thanks
    Sekhar

    HI,
as Anja wrote, this is not possible with a default installation of the SAP Portal.
What you can do is to provide role provisioning with IIDM, GRC or ABAP user store solution instead of giving the portal admin the permission to change role <-> user attribution.

  • Best Server Role for Web Applications

    Hi,
I'm running SQL Server 2008 R2 Express and using Microsoft SQL Server Manager Studio to administer it.  I have a web application that does read, add, update, and delete to the database and I am currently using the sa account - which is of course not
a good idea.  I want to create a new user but I don't know what the best practice is for web applications and also security.  The options I have are:
    bulkadmin
    dbcreator
    diskadmin
    processadmin
    public
    securityadmin
    serveradmin
    setupadmin
    sysadmin
    Thanks.

    Hi mark_sti,
Based on my understanding, you want to create a new user of the database. Using this new account, a web application could read, add, update, and delete the database.
The options you provide are fixed server roles. For more information about fixed server roles, please refer to this article:
    Server-Level Roles.
In this scenario, you need db_datareader fixed database role and db_datawriter fixed database role. Db_datareader fixed database role can read all data from all user tables. Db_datawriter fixed database role can add, delete, or change data in all user tables.
To add two database roles, you should map the login to the database which is used by a web application in Login Properties. Then create a new database user, check Db_datareader fixed database role and Db_datawriter fixed database role on Membership page of
Database User. About permission of different database roles, please refer to this article:
    Database-Level Roles.
If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
    Best regards,

  • Adding/Deleting T codes to roles. Finding the correct roles to add/delete T

    Hi Folks
I would like solutions to 3 questions.
    1) How do you Add/Delete transaction codes to roles (ECC6)
    2) How do you find the correct roles to Add/Delete these T codes
    3) Has anyone any documentation and or screenshots on Versa, the Compliance Calibrator.
We are using single roles within composite roles.
    Useful answers will be rewarded.
    Thank you very much
    Mark W

    Hi Mark,
Typically the functional team or organisational design team will specify the roles required and the transaction assignment to those roles.  By working with them, you can understand what part of the business processes the roles represent and get an idea about which transactions go in what roles.  They will also be able to advise if a new role is required id a transaction is missing.
The allocation of tx to roles should only be approved by role owners or appropriate responsible resource, and they should stipulate exactly which roles those tcodes go into.  If you have not been involved in the role design then it is not appropriate for them to expect you to make those kind of decisions.
All of the recent compliance calibrator docs are on the service marketplace, I'm sure that the basis team on your current project will either give you their OSS ID to let you download them, or alternatively will download the docs for you if they have concerns about sharing the ID.  From memory, if you have security certification, you should be able to get an individual OSS ID from SAP.
There is some high level info available from www.sap.com/grc and a brief overview of an install of CC5.1 here: http://www.*********************/sox_sod/sox_sod.htm
    Hope that helps
    Cheers

  • Investigate - ECC roles for retirement.

I am trying to investigate and find roles that can be retired in the ECC system. How do I come up with a list of roles that are ready for retirement (due to unuse or wrong naming convention, etc, etc)?
What are the questions I should be asking?
I have tried to follow the below approach, but it doesn´t seem to be effective enough:
note- From hereon, when I mention roles, it means Z-Roles only.
Please find the method I used to analysis the issue below:
Requirement:  Investigate - ECC roles for retirement.
    (Self made points below)
    1. Document all roles in ECC, that have never been assigned to any user.
    2. Document all the roles in ECC, that do not have any users assigned to
    it since atleast one year.
    3. Document all the roles in ECC, that are forbidden to be assigned to
    any roles.
    4. Document all the roles in ECC, that do not follow the standard naming
    convention defined by the organisation.
My question - Should I extend this list?
    Analysis:
    Transactions used extensively during analysis:
    SE16 Data browser
    SUIM User Information system
    S_BCE_68001425 Roles by Complex Criteria
    PFCG Role Maintenence
    Tables user extensively during analysis:
    AGR_AGRS  Roles in Composite Roles
    AGR_DEFINE  Role definition
AGR_USERS  Assignment of roles to users
Actions taken, to reach the solution:
    1. Single Roles - Without assignment in the last one year ( There has been no user assignment to these roles for atleast one
year and no changes have been done to the role during this time.
These roles are currently without any user assigned to them.
2.Forbidden roles: These roles are not to be assigned to any users and it
can be strongly recommended that they should be retired.
There are currently no user assignement for this roles.
    3. Wrong Naming convention :  Roles that donot follow the
standard role naming conventions (as defined). These roles should be
    retired.

    Hi..
Last month we did this clean up activity. But after a lot of meandering here and there, like what has been stated, finally i decided to take help of the functional consultants of each module of SAP and removed all unwanted roles - from end users. It was a massive exercise, esp when roles were assigned indirectly,  but finally we could clean up a bit.
But for some reasons, the back end team has kept the roles on the system and roles have not been deleted or completely removed from the system itself. May be as part of 2nd phase of clean up, we would do that.
And also that was the reason why we felt - as to whether it is ok, to make any role as non-editable, and identify it, all those roles in one go, for a direct clean up at a later date. But I was not able to categorize that way.
In case you have some other better ideas of cleaning up the system completely, please share your thoughts too. It would be very helpful.
    Thanks
    indu

    Hi
I had the exact same issue, and what i have found was that the tool drop all the authorization data and if you had specified a cust profile that handle the RFC authorization then the RFC connection to the receiver system then no longer works.
The way I managed to solve the issue was to change the SAP_TDMS_MASTER role and added in object S_RFCACL with all permissions and generated and activated it.
This allowed the RFC to work again and then you could restart the process from the central system

  • Alert for Bid Invitation

    Hello Folks,
We have a requirement were alerts needs to be sent to Bidder i.e. 24 hours before the deadline (time/limit) as maintained under Bid Invitation.
For this the following configuration is doneu2026
Maintain the event and event schema for Bid Invitation (BUS2200). Under Event schema you specify the triggering event: No Bid Submitted, Published_Again etc. and also the deadline value.
Then assign this event schema to transaction type Bid Invitation.
Then maintain the Alert category SRM_BID_INV for Bid invitation here you specify the recipient either fixed one or role specific.
Currently the triggering event set is No Bid Submitted for alert category SRM_BID_INV and the deadline value is minus 24.
    Issue 1:
When a Bid Invitation already published, reaches its deadline limit i.e. 24 hours before the deadline limit. System should trigger alert and notify bidder that only 24 hours remaining to react hence please submit the bid.
Currently this alert is not getting triggered for the deadline. Does it have something to do with Negative Deadline value?
    Issue 2:
A new triggering event u201CPublish againu201D was set with deadline value Zerou201D0u201D.
Now when a bid Invitation was published again system sends alerts to the Bidder notifying of the changes which is correct.
But then system is sending the same alert thrice. How can we control this so that only one alert is sent per Object ID.?
    Issue 3:
As specified earlier we had set up the recipient for Alert Category either on a fixed basis or role specific.
As a result of this every alert for Bid Invitation is routing to the same list of recipients.
Wanted to know, is there any other way apart from implementing Badi or setting rules to determine the recipient at runtime for a particular Bid invitation.Only these recipients should be notified via alert.
    Awaiting for your response.
    Thanks & Regards,

D01 -> Delevopment system and domain controller
Q01 -> Test system and Quality Assurance System
    P01 -> Production system
I want create a different Role for a particular user.
The first problem is that I want to enable the developer user on Q01 to import their change request (only his own CRs)
Do you know what are the roles that I can see for do this?

You can restrict transport type with this object S_TRANSPRT
    Options
    CLCP     Client Transports
    CUST     Customizing Requests
    DTRA     Workbench Requests
    MOVE     Relocation Transports
    PATC     Preliminary Corrections and Deliveries
    PIEC     Piece Lists
    TASK     Tasks
    TRAN     Transport of Copies
    Activites
    01     Create or generate
    02     Change
    03     Display
    05     Lock
    06     Delete
    23     Maintain
    43     Release
    50     Move
    60     Import
    65     Reorganize
    75     Remove
    78     Assign
    90     Copy
    Still you want
    DEVCLASS
You canu2019t restrict the user can import only his own request (which is created by user)why because there is a option to change owner of the Request he can change the owner and then import.
But Transport activates are BASIS activity better to avoid providing this authorization to functional consultant  or developers
