Rotate3D : How to find rotating image's angle reached 90

I am looking for a solution to find rotated image's angle.
Say an image is rotating from 0 to 180 along the y axis it has to cross 90degree mark. Is it possible to listen motion of image in degrees while animation is playing?

Sorry, Its not what I am looking for.
I am looking for a listener or something which will trigger when it reaches certein angle say 90degrees. I am rotating an image from 0 to 180 along the y axis (by setting angleYFrom & angleYTo not along x axis) and I have to flip an image when it reaches 90, so that reversed image can be avoided. Making it show face all the way it reaches 270 degrees from 90.
Thanks

In Muse: How to auto rotate Images on Full Screen Slideshow if pictures were taken mixed Portrait and Landscape

There is no way that Muse would automatically rotate the images. What you can instruct Muse to do is whether you want to show all image content and leave blank space in either direction OR scale the image to fill the frame resulting in some cropping, but filling the otherwise blank space.
The options are Fit Content Proportionally and Fill Frame Proportionally respectively.

  • How to find duplicate images?

How do I use Bridge CS5 to find duplicate images and delete them?

I'm having the same issue as aljCharlie.  Using Find won't work for me due to several reasons.  First, I have 30k+ images in the folder.  Secondly, the images have differing file names but are ultimately duplicate images.
So, I suppose this has been asked and answered, but just in case it hasn't: Does Bridge have any sort of visual duplicate finder that compares the content of the images rather than simply the file names?  I'm thinking of something like TinEye.  Maybe I should post this in the Feature Request forum.  Hmm.
    Thanks!

  • How do i rotate images in the Book feature?

I run Aperture 3.4.4 and want to know if i can rotate images when designing a book.  I looked through the archives and there are several notes that say if i mouseover the upper left corner of a selected image in Edit Layout mode i will get crosshairs.   This does not happen in my version.  Any suggestions?

You could try to change the "angle" in the "Edit Layout" view in the Size & Position options.
To show the "Size&Position" layout options use the cogwheel below the Pages browser.

  • How to find referenced images in Aperture Library

    Hi,
On starting Aperture it tells me I have 18 referenced images. When creating a vault it tells me all but these 18 referenced images will be backed up. Problem is, try as I might I can't find these referenced images anywhere in my Aperture library, and yes I've even checked my rejected images.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
    Thanks in advance.
    Alistair

The apfile for a referenced image contains an extra key: fileAliasData.
So get a copy of TextWrangler (or BBEdit) and search the library for all files ending in apfile that contain the string fileAliasData. This will tell you which images are affected and where they are.
The other difference is that fileIsReference is set true for referenced masters and false for managed masters.
See this link for some idea of how to do multi-file searches with TextWrangler:

We've a requirement that we need to find out the size of a java object at run time, is there a direct java API to get the size of a composite object in memory?
Here is my requirement: We are adding string objects (which is an xml string of considerable size) into a List. After reaching certain size limit (lets say 5MB) of the list i need to put this data into DB as a CLOB. So every time I add a string object to the list, I need to see if the total size of the list exceeds the limit and if yes, flush the results into DB.
I am not sure if java has a direct API for this, if not what is the beast way to do it, it s critical requirement for us.
It would be really great if someone could help us out.
    >
Could you explain your actual requirement a little more fully.
    1. Is each individual string a separate XML string? Or is it just a fragment? Why would you just concatenate them together into a CLOB? That won't produce valid XML and it won't let you easily separate the pieces again later. So provide a simple example showing some strings and how you need to manipulate them.
    2. Are you using these xml strings in Java at all? Or are you just loading them into the database?
For example if you are just loading them into the database you don't need to create a list. Just create a CLOB in Java and append each string to the CLOB. Before you append each one you can check to see if the new string will put you over your length limit. If it will then you write the CLOB to the database, empty the CLOB and start appending again to the new clob instance.
If you explain what you are really trying to do we might be able to suggest some better ways to do it.

  • Aperture - How to find library images

    Hello
I'm using Aperture on my macbook pro with mavericks OS.
I have a managed system where I have most images on an external drive and only small thumbnails in the "ApertureLibrary.aplibrary" file. This works very well for me.
BUT there have been times where I have not brought my external drive and when importing pictures they have been stored locally in the aperturelibrary.aplibrary file instead of my external drive. Now it's time to sort out what files are not stored on my external drive and relocate the original files from the local file (aperturelibrary.aplibrary) to the external drive. Question: How do I find the files that are stored locally only. I have 60.000 images and going over all of them would take forever.
Summing up: I need to find a way to only find images that have their original files sotred in the aperturelibrary.aplibrary file and relocate these original images to my external drive.
    Thanks

thanks for the reply. I have a huge folder structure and I need to keep the same structure on the external drive which means I have to create the folders on the external drive before relocating the images? or am I wrong?
One image might be in the aperture library folder:
    - 2013
         - September
              - Party
Then I will create the same folder-path on the external drive and choose reloacte originals in that folder to the folder on the external drive. I believe I have to do this for each folder that have managed images.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
The attetched drive shows some of the folder structure in Aperture and I have created the same folder structure on the external drive.

  • How to find original image file names in Reader?

How do I display the original file names of digital images in Reader? I am using Reader 8. In previous versions I used the "Picture Tasks" button in the menu bar to open various dialog boxs that showed the original file names. I am a photographer and clients often order prints using original camera file names. Currently I have to tediously match images between my image browser and Reader placing them side by side. Would be so helpful to display in Reader the original file names. Help anyone? THanks in advance.

Command-D provides info on the PDF itself but nothing on the image files' metadata. I create PDF docs inside Php CS4 if this is any help. If there is a way in Reader to display all image files' original file names simultaneously please clue me in.

  • How to find all images in AI file.

I was given a complex children's logo (below) in AI format. When placing it in ID, I started getting resolution warnings. After some digging, it turns out that the person who created this used images instead of gradients for only some of the objects. I'm not sure why someone would do this instead of just creating the gradients in AI. However, I now need to find and replace all these images. Is there an easy way to locate the images?

to expand on that theory. i just tested it and yes, it work. Select one, hold shift to select them all in the pallette.. then select "goto links".

  • I have Lightroom 5. How do I rotate images in the development module?

    The heading says it all...

Well actually, it doesn't say it all
Do you mean rotate a few degrees to get the horizon level, or 90 degrees because the camera or software didn't properly recognize the photo was either landscape or portrait, or 180 degrees; or change from landscape to portrait without rotating 90 degrees; or what?

  • How to find duplicate images in Elements Organizer

I have been using many versions of photoshop elements and edited many of my files. So, now I have very many duplicates, near duplicates, and versions of the same photo. I think I have over 20,000 photos and they are taking up too much space. I tried using a duplicate file remover and it removed several thousand, but I still see many duplicates when I run photoshop elements 11. I am tempted to not use the organizer any more and just rely on a folder browser. Does anyone have a solution to this mess?

  • How can I rotate an image in Final Cut Pro X?

I imported over a thousand pictures from iPhoto to make a slideshow of my trip to California. How can I rotate images without reimporting them?

Select the photos you want rotated, open the Inspector (command-4). In the Video section of the Inspector, hover your mouse near the Transform and click show if it's not already open. The rotation setting is in there.

  • How to find desktop background image file

I am preparing an old PowerBook G4 laptop to be sold. I had previously lent it to a friend and I am selling it to another friend. The friend to whom I lent it asked me for the desktop image file so he can use it as his desktop on the Mac he owns.
I shot that photo years ago and I can't find the original .jpg for it, so I am hoping that I can find the desktop version of it before I finish preparing my PowerBook for sale. I have searched everywhere, but that image file does not show up on the PowerBook.
I figure that since I can see the photo when I am logged in, it must be somewhere, but where? I originally had it in iPhoto, but it was deleted from there at least two years ago. This PowerBook only has one account, so there's not a lot of places to look through.
If anyone has any pointers on how to find an image file on a PowerBook running Mac OS X 10.4.11, please let me know.

    HI Stanely,
Try going to System Preferences/Desktop&ScreenSaver. Click the Desktop tab. Now, go thru the folders listed there to see if the image shows up there. If it does, then go to Spotlight and type in the name of the folder where the image was. Spotlight will populate a list for you. At the top of the list click where it says: Show All. A pane will open. Look for the folder, then on the right click the little white circle with an "i" in it. That will give you the path to find the folder where the image resides.
You can search Spotlight by typing in these extensions: jpg tiff png pict gif bmp psp that's another way to search for an image.
Also, open a Finder window and look in the Sidebar on the left. Click where it says: Pictures. Might be in there also.

  • Rotated Images

When I download a picture to Desktop it transfers the picture to a folder called Rotated Images no matter which ISP I am using. It also happen if I drop an image /picture onto the desktop: it sits there apx 3 seconds then creates a Rotated Images folder & the picture is there rotated 90 degrees.
I have tried deleting the folder to Trash, emptying the Trash, and Restart. Same thing happens. Although there is no Rotated Images folder on the Desktop, as soon as I drop any image on the Desktop it creates an Rotated Images folder and the picture goes in there and rotates 90 degrees. It seemed to suddenly start. I don't believe I installed any app that would cause it to happen (I hadn't installed an app at the time it started).
I don't know if it was 'spammed' to my iMac -possibly?
When I use Spotlight it doesn't find Rotated Images except for the newly created folder on the Desktop.
Has anyone encountered this problem? Has anyone found a solution? It is confusing and annoying. I have to add it to iPhoto then rotate it and Revert to Original rotates back.
The work/around is to Rotate & Save in Photoshop, then Import to iPhoto. Bummer.
    Thank you.

  • Magic Trackpad - Rotate Image

I love my new magic trackpad! All the documented features work wonderfully except for one. I can't figure out how to get "rotate image" to work. I opened an image in iPhoto and in Preview, but the two-finger rotation movement does not rotate the image.
In what applications will this work? Do I have to buy Aperture or Adobe CS4? Or maybe a newer version of iPhoto? I have on older version of iPhoto, I think 6.0.6.
You'd think it would work in Preview though. Any tips are appreciated.

I've got it working now . . . The "rotate" option is just more sensitive than I was expecting: First, you've really gotta be careful with how you do the gesture, or else instead of rotating the image your mouse cursor just circles around the screen OR the iPhoto thinks you're doing a pinch-to-close/zoom gesture instead of a "rotate" (e.g., make sure your two fingers stay the same distance apart while you're doing the "rotate" movement). Second, there seems to be a delay between when you open the photo in iPhoto and when you can start spinning it, especially if it's a photo with a large file size; you've gotta give the photo a second to load up completely, then try the "rotate"; and you might get another delay if you try to rotate it clockwise after rotating it counter-clockwise, or vice-versa.
I also found that using iPhoto's "Full Screen" mode made it MUCH easier to use the "rotate" and pinch-to-zoom gestures -- in full-screen mode iPhoto seemed to have a much better idea of when I was trying to rotate vs. when I was trying to zoom in and out, and you can actually zoom way in on a photo via pinch-to-zoom instead of being capped at the images full size, etc.
Seems like the "rotate" gesture could use some more work to make it easier to use, but it's pretty cool once you get used to performing the gesture exactly right.
