Rounding the quantity to full case  in TO from PP order

Hi,
I create a PP order and one component has only 1 PC in BOM.
But when  i create the TO i need the component to be picked in full case , e.g pallet.
How do i fix the component quantity to be rounded to the full case in TO?
Thank you

Hi Kumar,
Let me explain in more details:
- the component is stored in pallets with 12 pieces, and the pallet is an alternative Uom
- when i create the PP order, in the BOM, this component is set up with 1 piece, so in the PP order it has only 1 piece
- after i create the PP order, the TO for the components is automaticaly created and printed in the warehouse. The picked quantity is equal to the quantity in the TO, in this case 1 piece.
- the point is that it is needed that the quantity of the component in the TO should be rounded to the quantity in the pallet, 12 in this case, so that, the picking to be done by pallet not by piece.
I need to know, how can i set up the quatity of the componnent to be rounded to the quantity in the pallet.
If you need more details, please ask.
Thank you

  • How to round quantity with FMS for some items in Production order lines?

    Hello,
    How to round the quantity with FMS or SP for only some items in the composition of Production order (lines) and the bill of materials like a box or a stick that should not be with commas.
    Exemple  of Production Order
    P1
      M1 | 234,78
      M2 | 104,04 --> 104
      M3 | 60,7
      M4 | 512, 00
      M5 | 107,67 --> 108
    and others will not be rounded

    Hi Gordon,
    you're always the first to respond, thank you.
    Its when adding the production order, before its creation or when entering the quantity of product in OWOR.
    Like :
    SELECT CASE WHEN ($[$37.4.0] = 'M2') OR ($[$37.4.0] = 'M5') THEN ROUND (T0.[PlannedQty],0)
    ELSE T0.[PlannedQty] END AS PlannedQty FROM WOR1 T0
    or
    SELECT ROUND (T0.[PlannedQty],0) FROM WOR1 T0 WHERE T0.[ItemCode] =$[$37.4.0] AND (T0.[ItemCode] = 'M2' OR  T0.[ItemCode] = 'M5)

  • ECC 6.0 FI-AA Error msg AA480 The quantity on asset X will become negative

    When trying to reverse an asset acquisition either from FI (AB08) or through a credit memo posting (ABGL), we get the error message AA480. Assets are quantity managed.
    We have just upgraded to ECC 6.0 from 4.6C.
    There are no relative notes for new release.
    I will be greatfull if any one has any idea to solve the problem.
    Thanks in advance,
    Lily

    Symptom
    You post a complete retirement of a fixed asset that manages quantities. The fixed asset also permits negative values within at least one area. Next you attempt to reverse the retirement. The system displays error AA480 'The quantity on asset & & will become negative from this posting'.
    Additional key words
    XNEGA, AMSS_DOCUMENT_REVERSE, LAMDPU14, AA480, MENGE, MEINS
    Cause and prerequisites
    1. If the fixed asset contains negative values this results in positive amounts during the retirement.
    2. The fixed asset manages quantities.
    3. The cause is a program error.
    Solution
    Implement the source code corrections.

  • A report to view the cash flow from Purchase Orders.

    Hi All,
    Could anyone suggest me a report to view the cash flow (financial obligations) which comes from Purchase Orders?
    Thanks
    Gandalf

    Hi,
    You will have to activate basic cash management (part of FSCM) and use TCode FF7B (liquidity forecast). What the report would do is, based on the delivery date of the purchase order and the payment terms of the vendor (plus some grace days for clearing the payment as per configuration) determine the date of expected payments and project the cash (and bank) balance by days/week or months.
    Alternatively you can write your own ABAP code which will do the same thing.
    a. Take a list of all open POs and determine the delivery date (EKKO and EKPO)
    b. Add the payment terms as per purchase order to the delivery date
    c. Compute the cost of the purchase order item
    d. Display the report which projects expected payments by date

  • Unable to GI delivery as the quantity is no complete

    Hi All,
    I have Sales order for 100 EA (10 EA <--> 18.347 KG).
    Created delivery for the same.
    with Batch split
    900001  <--> 12 EA (22.016 KG)
    900002 <-->  82 EA (150.445 KG)
    900003 <---> 6 EA (11.008 KG)
    Total 100  EA ( 183.469 KG)
    where as header is 183.470 hence we are not able to proceed with posting of GI document.
    Error - VL 062 --> Full delivery is required
    Suggest an approach to do GI.. this kind of urgent delivery.
    Thanks in advance for your inputs
    Nag

    SAP is mathematically correct.
    You are unable to define a conversion rate for 1 EA and just 3 decimals for the KG (you used 10 EA in your coinversion)
    But you then have batches with smaller quantity than 10 EA, hence SAP has to round the quantities to 3 decimals.
    and in your case you have finally a small difference of only 0.001
    But this has a conflict with your settings made for total delivery in your customer master (which is then copied from there to your sales order and delivery).
    I guess you have there an entry with C for Partial delivery, which means total delivery only.

  • ATP- Confirm full Case

    Hello,
    We are on 4.7V of SAP. I have a business scenario wherein a product Base unit of measure is "EA", but we want to ship the products in complete cases.
    So, if  1 CS = 10 EA and we have 12 EA's in stock. Customer places order for 2 CS, ATP should confirm only 1 CS in this situation as the stock is not enough to ship 2 CS.
    Please help me figure out how to acheive this in SAP.
    Thank you in advance.
    -Naga

    Try the following;
    1. Maintain the conversion between case and EA in the material master. 2) Add the sales UOM as case in the material master Sales:sales org1 views. 3) Enter the sales order quantity in case and then check how the ATP confirm the quantities.
    Just came across SAP OSS Note 547118 - FAQ: Result of ATP calculation. The point 10 of this note suggests to use user exit. Below is the detail.
    10. Question
    Why is the confirmed quantity a decimal fraction even though I have activated the setting in Customizing that informs the system that decimal places must not be used for the unit of measure?
    Answer
    This setting in Customizing only refers to the requested quantities accepted by the system. If you only ever work with whole values (that is, inventory postings and all receipts and issues) and if a document works with a sales probability of 100 percent, the whole numbers are also retained even during the ATP invoice.
    If, however, a document works with a sales probability between 0 and 100 percent, quantities that are not whole numbers can also be assigned. Consequently, quantities that are not whole numbers also remain available and can then be assigned. Therefore, a result that is not a whole number is possible even though Customizing is defined differently.
    The standard R/3 system does not need to have a rounding function because the design objectives can only be defined individually and other rounding problems would occur, such as conservative rounding or rounding that would result in overassignment.
    If you nevertheless want to use a rounding function for the confirmed quantities, the EXIT_SAPLATPC_002 function module is provided as a user exit for changing the result of the ATP check. In this case, the T006-ANDEC and T006-DECAN fields must be analyzed depending on the unit of measure used. The T_MDVEX-MNG02 quantity can then be adjusted accordingly.
    Refer also to Note 787037, which corrects this particular rounding error.
    Attention: The ATP check is always carried out with the base unit of measure.

  • Billing quantity issue in case of BAPI_BILLINGDOC_CREATEMULTIPLE

    Hello Folks,
    We have a ‘z’ transaction where we are using BAPI ‘BAPI_BILLINGDOC_CREATEMULTIPLE’ to create Billing Document. However the billing quantity updated in the billing document is ‘0.00’ in the case of document being created using the ‘z’ transaction whereas the correct quantity is updated from the transaction ‘VF01’.
    If I change the configuration in VTFL, of billing quantity from ‘B Delivery quantity less invoiced quantity’ to ‘G Cumulative batch quantity minus invoiced quantity’ then the quantity updated from ‘z’ transaction appears correct while the quantity gets doubled in case of ‘VF01’ ie. quantity is updated in both the batches and invoiced item.
    Here is the code snippet I have used in my ‘z’ transaction to create the billing document:

    In customizing of MM-PUR Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule   the document type of the STO is assigned to the delivery document type.
    Check if you assigned NLCC or just NL.
    NLCC is for cross company while NL is for transfers within one company code.

  • How to Map the Unit field  in case of DSO and INFOCUBE

    Dear Experts,
    I have a issue ,Please help me to solve this
    I have DSO as provider ,
    And, i have to map transformations  btw the Datasource and DSO.
    In generic Data source,  i have unit fields like BASME,MEINS (Quantity units) & STWAE (currency field)
    and normal Quantity fields  like KWMNG,OAUME(quantity related),OAUWE (value related).
    In DSO data fields as Key figure info objects like  0Quantity (which have 0Unit as unit of measure) and some other  key figures which have there respective unit of measure in info object  definition.
    So you Please tell me how to map the Quantity ,Amounts, unit fields to key figures that we have.
    (How it will be for both DSO and Info cube is there any difference?)
    Edited by: AnjunathNaidu on Jan 18, 2012 1:20 PM

    Navasamol ,
    If it is works ,will u please tell me what is the difference ,if the transformations btw data source and DSO and
    what is the difference btw data source and info cube and btw DSO to Infocube or cube to cube .
    And i have  seen the Quantity fields  and there respective unit fields are mapped directly  to key figure info object
    in case of Info cube . Its working fine .
    If only 1:1 mapping allowed in DSO data fields key figures and there respective unit of measure characteristic.
    why this difference btw DSO and Info cube can any one explain me in detail.
    Expecting your valuable suggestions.

  • How can I create accurate decimal dimensions when creating a new document or using the art board in Illustrator CS6? When I type in a number with a decimal, it automatically rounds the number up.

    How can I create accurate decimal dimensions when creating a new document or using the art board in Illustrator CS6? When I type in a number with a decimal, it automatically rounds the number up.

    For my part you are welcome, sdowers.
    Unfortunately, the uncertainty arising from the rounding has been up several times here in this forum.
    I just came to remember a warning that needs to be given:
    The rounding of the representation of a numerical value may be harmless in itself, but if you use it for any operation that changes the value, such as multiplication or whatever, things will go wrong because the operation will be made on the basis of the rounded value instead of the true value. So, as in your first case in post #2, 39.625 rounded to 39.63 will become 79.26 instead of 79.25.

  • How to change the Quantity in the Credit Memo using BAPI

    Change the fields as per your logic before populating orders item and schedule line data.
    You have to pass the quantity in schedule line items as well in case you want to change quanity in order.

    Thanks Kalpesh.
                                 yes there is a conversion formula maintained as:

    PO Qty in SKU           6,341.400 M                   Order Unit <-> SKU             20     TO  <-> 2,439   M
    Now, when user is entering 58 in PO Quantity field. Error coming as"order quantity in full" .
    In PR under Quantities/ Weights Tab status is :

  • Can I make the keyboard display lower case letters?

    Sorry for possibly a totally n00bie question....I'm completely new to Apple products. I just bought my first Apple product yesterday, iPad Air (full size).
    My question is in regard to the virtual keyboard. It displays the letters in upper case, so it makes it difficult to determine between upper and lower when I press the shift key because it doesn't look any different.
    Is there a way to make the keyboard display lower case letters when in lower case mode and vica versa for upper case?

    In my opinion, this is still one the silliest oversights in design by Apple.  They can make the little switch button on flashlight icon in the control tray toggle between up and down, but they can't toggle the case of the letters to reflect the status of the Shift key?  Seriously...without actually using your phone, can you tell me which icon represents Shift being enabled?  Is it the black arrow with the white background or the white arrow with the grey background?
