Routine calculation in MIRO

Hi,
I am using routine for calculating tax in PO and the same routine gets called at MIRO also. Now the requirement is like that when the user enters the PO no. against which he is doing MIRO tax gets calculated from PO.Also user can change the value of condition type(for eg.ZASV) at the time of MIRO and then the tax should calculate on that. This is also working but if i have two line items for the PO in and user wants to change the condition value in both items its changing in only the last selected item because komv struture has the last item.I could not find anyother structure whcich keeps the changes values of both item.If anyone has any idea, kindly revert urgently.
Thanks & Regards
Madhu

Hi Rana,
but if i have two line items for the PO in and user wants to change the condition value in both items its changing in only the last selected item because komv struture has the last item
---->
1.First put a break-point in that routine and check for each item that particular routine should tigger ? IF its not tigger for each changed item then its a Config problem.
2.If its tiggering for each changed items then Program problem , So find out whats happening in debug more.

Prabhu

  • Exit or BADI when Tax Calculation in MIRO from Purchase order

    Hi Gurus,
I Need a Exit or BADI when Tax Calculation in MIRO from Purchase order.
The problem is the tax is automatically calculated from tax code in PO but I want it to be calculated
from PO condition. Is there any exit available by which I can modify the value of tax when ticking the check box of tax calculation in MIRO.

BADI has method COPY_DRSEG_SELKZ but since there only importing paramters and no exporting or changing parametrs you cannot change the values of rseg here.
Try using proper Implicit enahncement by debugging .

  • Excise Duty not calculated at MIRO

    Hi
We have upgraded the patch level of SAP_APPL  from 10 to 11. Now, in PO we have assigned a tax code for calculation of excise duty at 14.42%. In the tax details in PO Items, system is showing the calculation of excise duties correctly. When the excise invoice from vendor is posted through J1IEX . Here the system is passing the entries
    BDE Dr
    Cess Dr
    SECESS Dr
           Cenvat Clearing A/c Cr
When we do MIRO, system is passing the following entries
    GR/IR Dr
         Vendor A/c Cr
The correct entries to be passed shoudl be
    GR/IR Dr
    Cenvat Clearing Dr
             Vendor A/c Cr
When we were on patch 10 for SAP_APPL, system was passing the entries correctly. However, after the upgradation, system is not capturing the excise details. We have maintained all the related configuration in J1ID and also maintained the condition records in FV11.

    Hi,
Check whether "GR based IV" is active for the PO line item under "Invoice" Tab. If not then active and check or do a complete new cycle with this indicator as active and check.
Also check that in MIRO, you are selecting the tax code of PO at Header level in "Basic Data" Tab also.

  • Maintain the acct key and acurals/provisions in calculation schema-MIRO

    Hi,
In PO we have maintained different delivery condition.
When we are doing MIRO we are getting error "maintain the acct key and acurals/provisions in calculation schema" for condition type YLBB and YLBE.
However we have checked condition type and calulation schema and found that acct key and accurals maintained.
    YLB9     BivacInspec.fee/Quan
    YLBB     LPRC charges/Quant.
    YLBC     Port charges/Quant.
    YLBE     Clearing Charges/Qt.
    Please suggest somesolution.
    Thanks
    Ashok

    Hi Ashok,
In M/08  check whether   acct key and acurals/provisions in calculation schema" for condition type YLBB and YLBE are maintained or not.
Also if they are maintained there then check in M/06 for condition type YLBB and YLBE  , whether accurals check box are checked or not...If not check and then try.
    Cheers!!!

  • Tax not calculated in MIRO for the condition type JVCD

    Hi,
We made some new different tax code and attached with JVCD , its calculating in PO but in MIRO calculation part not done but for other condition type ,JVRD,JVRN system calculating well...
Please tell me some way why not system calculating in case of JVCD and JVCN for capital case..
    Thanks in Advance,
    Dharmveer

    Hi,
We totally agreed with you and already we checked our configuration part is OK.Actually we want to map some process where we captured excise in GR but no need to take credit i.e. to post the excise in J1IEX,so we do not have to post our cenvat/modvat entry in MIRO but we need to calculate VAT whether it is deductible or non deductible. So far this thing is concerned,we made separate tax code which we use at time of MIRO posting and in configuration we did not attached the tax code in logitics-basic excise -assign to company code. Because once we attached here , system asking to make to pass furst RG part2 entry then it allows to post MIRO entry which we do not want .So please understand this scenario is different and we got the success for JVRN/JVRD for VAT but getting issue in case of capital VAT where system does not calculate tax for JVCN/JVCD .....where we want to process MIRO without posting J1IEX..
Please thing and analyse ..give some helping response..
    Thanks,
    Dharmveer

  • Tax Base amount calculation in MIRO

    Hi friends ,
Need your help on the following issue
    1.     PO item price is Rs 20/-  &  Tax is 7 % . But Tax 7 % should be calculated on                 Rs 100/- (20+80 =100)  in MIRO . i.e. Assessable value for tax is Rs 100/-
    2.     We tried this scenario in the following way .
Enter the tax amount as  Rs 7/- (7% on Rs 100/) ,
          Do not ticket u201CCalculate taxu201D ,
          Enter the u201CTotal Amountu201D as Rs 27/- ( Rs 20+7)can put
It is working fine. But when we take report to submit government officials, for this PO line item the assessable value is showing as Rs 20/- (PO value) and the tax 7% on this assessable value shows as  Rs 1.4/-  though the tax value is Rs 7/- .
Could some one help how to face this issue
    Thx
    Deva

If your tax procedure is TAXINN,
Define new condition type with Cond Class B & Cal Type C.
Define new condtion table and access sequence for this condition type.
Include this tax condition type in Tax procedure.
It is to be included next to BASB. This condition type to be maintained as statistical in TAXINN.
Maintain condition record on required combination.
In third step of TAXINN, give the summation of BASB & new condition type.
Use this third step as the assessable value for tax calculation.
    In your case,
    STEP       Condition type            Value
10            BASB                     = 20                  (From PO Item Price)
20            New condition type   = 80                 (From condition Record)
      30            Assesable Value      = 100               (STEP 10 + STEP 20)
      40            Tax condition type    =    7                  (7% FROM STEP 40)
Then go for PO-GR-MIRO as regular procedure.
    Hope this works for you.

  • Wrong excise calculations in MIRO

    Dear All,
we have created a PO and partial MIGO and MIRO has been done and all the entries has been posted correctly. Now while doing MIRO for the remaining partial quantity excise values are calculating wrong in MIRO. GRN has been done and part 1 and part 2 entries also posted. the tax code has 12% , 2% , 1 % and VAT 5.5% . In part 1 and 2 12% amount 2734.00 has been posted.  while doing MIRO ED value is calcuating as 1367.00.
i have checked in FTXP and in J1ID the values has not been changed. Kindly suggest how to proceed.
    thanks and regards,
    RGS

thank you so much..!!  i check the table J_1IGRXREF as the per link suggested and found only half of the amount is updated there. i.e., 1367.00
Again i checked the table with the excise invoice number and found two entries of 1367.00 with two material document both those two material document has the same accounting document.
    i..e,
    material document 1          1367.00           accounting document 1
    material documnt  2           1367.00           accounting document 1
however only one material document i can able to display in MIGO with 2734.00 when i display the other document it says document does not exist.
can i suggest to reverse the GRN and then to do it again ?

  • Tax calculation in MIRO

    Hi,
While posting the MIRO for one particular line item the excise duty wrongly calculated (i.e.) @ 16% instead of 8%. I have already check the tax rate maintained for this chapter in J1id and its is maintained as 8%.
Excise invoice is captured @ 8 % in the system. Then why is there an excess amount while doing MIRO.
    Please provide your guidence.
    Regards
    Renuga. A

    Hi,
Have you changed the tax rate in J1ID before MIGO or after MIGO? Because tax rate will flow to MIRO from PO. If the tax rate is 16% at the time of PO & GR, that only will flow to MIRO. Reverse the MIRO, MIGO and again re-do the posting. It will work.

  • Tax not calculating in MIRO within a date range.

    Hi Experts ,
We have created a tax code and assign its values in condition types under two separate Key Combination.
    1) Tax Classification : 4% ( Non Validity) , in access sequence exclusive indicator is set aganst it.
    2)  Tax Code : 4% (Valdity - Sept - till 9999), Exclusive indicator is not set against it.
Issue is that when i create a PO ( at any date) system is picking up the taxes.
Nom at the time of MIRO , if i post the MIRO before sept. system is allowing me to do so and calculate taxes correctly.
But when i change the date to Sept the system does not calculate taxes.
Even though the Tax Classification has more priority in access sequence compared to tax code , i am failed to understand why system is not calculating taxes.
I have tried deleting conditions in tax code key combinations but still system is not calculating taxes in MIRO,
    Pls guide.
    Regards
    Honey

    Hi Ramesh ,
i have done the same . Maintained he condition record via FV11. but system is not calculating tax for sept. month in MIRO.
In PO tax calculation is perfect but in MIRO it is not calculating tax.( ticked calculate tax option also).

    Hello
That 2% is nothing but the cess on VAT. That condition also should  be there in your procedure.

  • Tax is not getting calculated in MIRO

    Dear Friends,
I am testing a sceanrio, where miro should calculate discount and tax. Discount is working fine, but not tax
Using MIRO, I entered Basic data, Payment, details, tax tabs details.
In Tax, I selected the tax code and selected Calculate Tax Check box.
    All i get is 0.00.
For this test scenario, We are not using PO or GR.
Please let me know how to reslove the issue.
    Thanks and Regards
    Sridhar

    Pl. check for following:
    - check with your FI person whether he has properly maintained the tax rate in the table.
    - If this tax code is with set off then also it will not show the tax
If you want to pay without Po then better create an advance request through F-47/48 & release the payment to vendor.
    regards,

  • Base LIne Date calculation in MIRO SAP IS-AFS6.0

    Hi Freinds,
My business requires a payment condition for vendor " Payment after 30 days of Material Receipt Date or Schedule Delivery Date whichever is later". I have created a payment term.
But how will system calculate accordingly? I find out a solution if I change the baseline date accordingly it can be solved. Can anyone tell me any other suitable procedure to do it? Or if this is the right procedure then please suggest how can I configure system in such a way that whenever I use this payment term the system automatically consider the later date in Baseline date so that my payment will be due after 30 days of it.
    I am using IS-AFS 6.0 version.

I find out a solution if I change the baseline date accordingly it can be solved
You have found right solution, make it mandatory to fill Baseline Date while doing MIRO,Check in OBB8 settings for payment terms & baseline date, Select Posting Date as Default for baseline date column, or you can use User exit EXIT_SAPLV60B_002 or LMR1M001 for populating automatically

  • Taxes not calculated in MIRO

    Hi,
We are using TAXINN procedure and we maintained all the relevent condition records for excise and VAT. The excise and VAT are getting properly calulated in PO and all the accounting entries in GR and J1IEX_P are correct.
However at the time of MIRO, evem after making a tick in the "Calculate taxes"  check box, the taxes are not getting calulated. The tax code used is V0-zero tax.
Is any customising setting required ?
    Thanks,
    SR

    Hello,
    1. Create new tax code in FTXP.
    2. Assign the tax code to company code  (SPRO >> Logistic general >> Tax on goods movement >> India >> Basic settings >> Determination of excise duty >> Condition based excise determination >> Assign tax code to company codes
    3. In access sequence JTAX include table 003-Tax Classification at the top before Plant/Vendor/Material - 363
4.Now matain the condition record for new tax code in fv11 for plant material and vendor combination for your condtion types like JMOP, JVRD etc also matain the set-off condition type also.
