Routing and Externally Process and Purchase requisition

Dear Experts
I try to set routing with External processing.
I have 2 questions.
I would really appreciate you, if you could answer my questions.
I still have not understood the relationship between "Control key" and "Purchase Order"
The routing is like below
10 self manufacturing
20 External Processing with the control key is pp02
30 self manufacturing
In case I set "+" (Externally processed operation) for "External Processing" in "pp02", the Purchase Requisition will be created.
However in case I set "X" (Internally processed operation / Externally processed operation) for "External Processing" in "pp02", the Purchase Requisition will not be created.
My question is in case I set "X" for "External Processing" for Control key, how can I create Purchase Requisition?
Should I create Purchase Requisition manually?
In case I set task 20 as External Processing.
What kind of Work center should I regist for task20?
Is it dummy work center or is empty OK?

Dear,
When you maintain external processing in your control key PP02 and the system will create a purchase requisition when you release the production order. For that particular external processing operation you need to maintain the purchasing group and info record details in the external processing tab in routing.

I have a requirement to update Good Recipient and Unloading point in Purchase requisition.
I am using BAdI ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST and PROCESS_ACCOUNT Method.
in PROCESS_ACCOUNT method I am using IM_ACCOUNT_REF and GET_DATA and SET_DATA methods. and this is working fine for me.
I need your help in resolving below problem.
If Purchase already planned with some Materials by an individual, is now added more Materials by another individual, the system should assign the values of the Goods Recipient and Unloading Point of the second individual to the Material items in the document. The Goods Recipient and Unloading Point values of the existing Material items in the document should remain unchanged, unless these values are specifically changed by the user editing the document or the Material number of the original item has been changed by the user, following which the Goods Recipient and Unloading Point values of the current user should be adopted instead, overwriting the existing values.
GET_DATA and SET_DATA methods does not have the inforamtion Material number filed.
I have also checked GET_PERSISTANT_DATA and GET_PREVIOUS_DATA.
Please let me know which BAdI and method i can use to cater this requirement. or any Enhancement points.

Reason for not getting populated these fields from PR to PO
through ME59N or ME21N is because in general, in case of service
environment, these are not available as explained in attached
note 118008. Their role is taken by the so-called user fields
since release 4.0 which are declared as text fields and play
a purely informative role only....
These two fields have never been included into the standard
functionalities due to the basic business process which does not
include these fields for service transactions/functionalities.
The fields "unloading point" and "Goods recipient" are not available
for services in R/3.

One reason for this is that the account-assignment screen is filled
by the user on sub-item level. The system aggregates this information
to item level. This is not possible for the unloading point and goods
recipient, because there can be several unloading points / goods re-
cipients for one purchase/requisition order item.

The process is as follows:
Backup the phone, Erase it, connect to iTunes for the unlock process, then your iProfile can be restored.
You can go ahead and get the SIM, bout you have to Erase the phone and connect to iTunes before it will be unlocked.

You can install Temperature Monitor and have a look if the CPU oder GPU oder something else went to hot. The processor has a built in safety mechanism to shut down the computer before taking damage.

Quantities/Dates and Status tab in purchase requisition is not working

Help!!! In the Quantities/Dates tab of Purchase Requisition is not updating the Quantity Ordered field if a Scheduling Agreement was created, no matter if have a Delivery Schedule or Goods Receipt, and in the Status tab is not updating the Ordered field.

Ok, but you can create a Scheduling agreement whit reference a PR and the PR show in the Status tab the number of Scheduling agreement created and the total quantity ordered to date, but is not showing the data, and in the Quantities/dates tab of PR __is not showing the Quantity Ordered too_, that is the problem, however that is not happened if you create a PO.

WorkFlow and "Created" Event in Purchase Requisition

Dear Experts,
I have created a new workflow for the Purchase Requisition
The problem is that when i tried to use "Start Event" for the object type "BUS2105" i didn't find the event "created"
I need this event "Created" because my work flow starts with the creation of the PR
Please supoort my with the full steps i need to overcome this problem

You can use "releaseStepCreated" Event for the start.

I'm trying to delete files from and external disk and i get this: The operation can't be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -1407) can somebody help me? files do not get deleted..and the trash not emptied.. thanks

I'm trying to delete files from an external disc and it doesn't let me couse this pops up:

Please what does it mean? I also have a file in the trash of my mac book named something similar to: a'*.'*.'*'.*.
and this cannot be deleted either..
Please let me know what I can do.
I also have many files in the external disc that I need so I cannot do a format..

Have you tried putting the file from your Drobo, onto your computer, then onto to the external hard drive?

I've ordered a book from iPhoto 3 times. Last order was W29631918. It says the order is accepted and being processed and then about 4 days later tells me the order has been cancelled. If I call the help line it tells me the order has been cancelled and

CLICK. I've never had any problem like this with Shutterfly, ever. And Apple gives you no other explanation. CLICK. That was my last Apple order. What a waste. Maybe someone from Apple can tell my why they do this. It was for Christmas and I started ordering November 5 and waiting for it to be delivered each time. This last one I followed and it even told me that the order had been processed and could not be cancelled. The proprietary company. Now I'm sorry I started using iphoto. I'll redo the project with Shutterfly but I'm wondering if Apple treats many of its customers like this.

Itunes folder laction and external hard and lose of files

i use itunes 7. i use and external hard drive for my itunes folder location. i have 189.96 gb of music in that location but itunes only finds 175.96 gb. why is this? why does it not see the other files? it is does not see them in a logical why? if i clear itunes and change the location it does not see different songs then last time i did that. it is completely random at what is does and does not find. 175.96gb is the most i have gotten it to find. once it only found 147.83gb and onther 152.62gb

Quick answer if you let iTunes manage your music: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Start iTunes with the option (shift on Windows) key held down and guide it to the new location of the library.
To see your iTunes folder click on the Music folder icon in your Finder sidebar.

Automount and external drives and phones...

Hello!
I have questions as to using external drives (memory cards, usb drives, phones).
I have a usb swith with about 4 devices attached (2 drives, 1 phone, and an IPod) and all works well. They mount without a hitch.
My problem is that if for any reason one of these devices gets disconnected without "ejecting" the drive, then my macbook crashes, and reboots.
This is an issue as when say, my phone rings and I pick it up, I disconnect it from the cable, and poof, all is lost...
Is there a way, like *cough cough* in Windows XP, where we can tell OSX to automatically disconnect "cleanly" a drive when disconnected without having to manually eject it?
Another reason for this is, when I go home from the office with my laptop, I disconnect the hub and put OSX to sleep (unless it hasn't crashed first by having forgotten to eject each indivual device...)
Any thoughts?

hmmm ...... didn't work.
-I started mac
-opened terminal
-typed in command and dragged Secondary Drive to terminal window
-put in my admin pw (same password that I had used before when I had it as secondary drive for when the mac was on Tiger)when prompted
-repeated for each other command
-rebooted
Same thing. lock on secondary drive.

Portal PCR and HCM Process and Forms.

We have a request from client that they want to use SAP Personal Change Request (PCR) in MSS role.
So when we tried to configure it, A error was thrown to us as :

Caused by: com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.PDFDocumentCreationException: ../../sap.com/msspcr/PcrApplication/wd_key48u2026..
So after looking for the cause of error we came to know that this requires an ADS (Adobe Document Service) to be activated.
Now we came to know that it requires some additional licence from SAP (Please verify this statement....if anybody has faced this issue)
So we now decide to use HCM Process and Forms for our client...
How ever when we try to access that in portal it says "Resource not Found".
After looking for the same in SAP help we came to know that it requires some
Business Package for HR Administrator (SAP ERP)
HR Administrative Services (PA-AS).
Now how can I know that whether we have these components already deployed in Portal / R3.
And if I get them, then will there be again a need for ADS (Adobe Document Service).
Please comment on the same.

Yes the error you are getting is for the ADS and interactive forms does have additional licenses for online forms but this totally depends on the package that you use.
For e.g IF you have SAP E.C.C 6.0 with Ehp4 then there are standard HCM processes and forms available that comes with the package .
In this case you can check in your sandbox if the sample processes works and verify with SAP for the usage.Since the cost depends on per form per user basis.
Note :
For SAP supplied interactive forms, no additional cost.
As for custom interactive forms, there is an additional cost.
For checking if HCM processes and forms are available in your system :
You could go for the t.code HRASR_DT or Configuration of Design Time can be accessed in the IMG under Personnel Management > HR Administrative Services > Configuration of Forms/Process.
However you need to check with the BASIS and portal guys for roles and authorizations.

Add and Transfer attachment from purchase Requisition to Purchase order

We have implemented ECC 6.0. Our requirement is to add external docs as attachments to PR and these should transferred to PO, later to be submitted to the vendor.
We have some info about the badi ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST. is this the right BAdi or do we need look for some other badi.
Also the services for object is displayed only in the change mode, not during creation of PR.
Any inputs will be appreciated.

I understand that it is possible to bring attachments from ECC to the SRM system for the new release.
However, I have a slightly different question.
If I want to bring in requirements from a legacy system to SRM 7.0 system directly, what is the feasability of the same? If I have an attachment linked in the legacy system, then is it possible to bring it in SRM 7.0 system directly or will I be forced to route it to ECC 6.0 and then use the Plan Driven Procurement scenario for getting it into SRM?

How to Create and External Hierarchy and group values of IO in node

I need to either to restrict a characteristic in a query to more than 800 values OR exclude values where it contains the pattern 'Z7' and 'Z8'. There are thousands of values which contains the pattern and they are not listed in such a way that I can exclude them as a value range, thus I would have to include all the values I want into the restriction, which is more than 800. An error displays when I check the query:

The proposed solution is:
""Create an external hierarchy for characteristic ZWR_DMGC and group the 838 values in a hierarchy node. You can then work with the node instead of the 838 individual values.

I know where to create the hierarchy, but I am confused how to only include the values of the applicable IO where pattern contains 'Z7' and 'Z8'.......??

Meeting Place Web Servers ( Internal and External )DNS and IP Addressing

For the Meetingplace 8.5 what will be the IP addresses of the Internal Web Server ( Internal IP's from the same subnet as of the CUCM) and for the External one interface from the internal network subnet ( CUCM subnet) and the other Public IP address?
How we will be mapping the DNS FQDN for these IP addresses?
Do we need to have one internal DNS server and the other place in the DMZ?

Hi Ali,
You need two Web Server one Internal and one External. While configuring you internal web server you also add external if external particpants are allowed or not.
For internal web server you want to make sure it's on the same subnet so internal particpants can access that one. For external you need to make sure the IP configured on external one is either natted ip or public ip so that when they type the external domain name it resolves to this external server ip address.

GUID and business process and performance

The single object dialog is not the only business process which has to be solved. Much more important are the nextfollowing mass activities of each business process. Therefore it seems to be much more efficent to store data not with a GUID but with a logical key to improve the performance of access during those mass processes instead of collecting all data spread over a extra large file (secondary index is helpfull, but must pick it out too) .
- Are there any possibilities available to influence the data filing to logical aspects of the process.
- Are there any time comparisons made between logical filing and GUID filing in mass processes.
- Are there any tips when to use, when to avoid GUIDs for filing

Both business publisher and process repository are available in CD2 of BPA Suite complete (for windows OS).
Important step before installing the business process repository is that you must have installed the database. Or else you must have installed BPA with OracleLite or XE database. At the time Business process repository installation you need to choose the database option 1 if Oracle enterprise data base is installed, else you may choose option 2 which says you already have BPA installed with database.
