RSCRM_BAPI with BEx structures

Hi All,
I created a query, using a structure and selections, so I have a first column with the labels I want y the next columns are keyfigures.
I created every selection with technical name.
When I see the results in the RSCRM_BAPI transaction, the system shows me internal code names instead of the technical names I set for every selection.
I wanted to have something like this:
Concepts.........value1......value2
ZVAL1             100         115
ZVAL2             90           92
but this is what I'm getting
Concepts.........value1......value2
4CAKUYDWYHT3IQF3WFDSEYMH3             100         115
4CAKUYTA0F0IJZI083IGZ2JWN                      90           92
How can I force it to show the techniccal names I created for every selection, instead of the internal name??
thanks for the help.
Mauricio

Aashish,
this is what I do.
I clic in the "Extract" button, and set the technical name for the extract (ZFI002) and set the start conditions to Immediate.
Then I clic in the "Batch Monitor" button, and double clic in the date/hour I want to see. Then I double clic in the Extract name text box (/BIC/0CZFI002) to see the extract data. I also use SE11 to see the data from the extract table.
I keep viewing the internal codes instead of my codes. ¿any Ideas?
thanks for the help.

  • Report on BEx query with 2 structures (one in rows and one in columns)

Hi, experts! I have to make Crystall report on BEx query with 2 structures, one in columns (with KF's), and one in rows. Is it possible to create such report? Because when I create such report, I cant see fields in structures, only characteristics fields.
Ok, I found samr problem in another thread. Sorry.

    Hey Flora,
Happy to hear that its working now.
Answering your question, again its upto the connection and report format you are using. Based on your question i hope you your report output should be like this.
You cannot map to two labels for the series, again this report format is possible only in cross tab through Webi. I would suggest you to concatenate the material and month in a dimension in webi like below.
I have done the concatenation in excel level, i would suggest you to do that in webi. Try to reduce the formula as much in excel.
    or
If you are using Query browser connection, then i would suggest you to create a separate report which will display the actual vs plan material wise, here you need to pass the material as a prompt.
Hope this helps in clear, please revert me for any clarification.

  • Issues with Bex query structures and Crystal Reports/Webi

    Hi experts,
I'm having an issue with Bex Query structures and nulls. I've built a Crystal Report against a Bex query that uses a Bex Query structure. The structure looks like the following
    Budget $
    Budget %
    Actual $
    Actual %
    Budget YTD
    etc
if I drag the structure into the Crystal Report detail section with a key figure it displays like this
    Budget $     <null>
    Budget %     <null>
    Actual $     300
    Actual %     85
    Budget YTD     250
the null values are displayed (and this is what is required). However if I filter using a Record selection or group on a profit centre then the nulls along with the associated structure component are not displayed.
    Actual $     300
    Actual %     85
    Budget YTD     250
Webi is also behaving similarly. Can anyone explain why the above is happening and suggest a solution either on the Bex side of things or on the Crystal Reports side of things? I'm confused as to why nulls are displayed in the first example and not the second.

    Hi,
Crystal Reports and Web Intelligence will only show data which is in the cube. You could have an actual 0 or Null entry whithout grouping but by changing the selection / grouping in the report the data does not include such entry anymore.

  • Error while using RSCRM_BAPI with remote cubes

    Hi,
We are getting short dump while trying to use RSCRM_BAPI with hierarchies i.e.display hierarchies to extract data to a flat file.
We do get a warning that display hierachies are not longer supported in 2004s with RSCRM_BAPI and have been going on and on with SAP development.  They are saying we need to find alternatives.
I wanted to know if anybody has tried using display hierarchies with RSCRM_BAPI in 2004s if not then I would like to know what are my options in getting a flat hierarchy report on to a flat file?
I dont think infospoke supports flat hierarchy extracts as infoproviders dont store hierarchy information.
    Thanks

    Heres my thought -
to use Bex Broadcaster to download the information,am not sure if RSCRM_BAPI is replaced by new functionality ,might wait for SAP to confirm.
    <b>Key capabilities:-</b>
1)The right information:Based on BExqueries, views, workbooks, Web applications & enterprise reports
2)In different formats:HTML, MHTML, PDF, ZIP, printer formats, online links, SAP alerts…
3)To the right people:e.g., single users, groups, distribution lists, user-specific or role-specific (incl. non-SAP users)
4)In different channels:e-mail, Portal, BExPortfolio (unified access based on Knowledge Management folders), collaboration rooms, Universal Work List…
At the right time:event driven, exception driven, ad-hoc, scheduled

  • Max number of rows in a BEX structure

    Hi gurus,
we need to create a structure with 164 key figures, and before starting doing it, does anybody knows which is the max number of rows that can be created on a BEX structure?
I'm not asking about max number of rows on a query, i'm asking about the number of entries that you can manually create on a structure. Is there a maximum?
    Thanks in advance,
    regards,
    Miguel

    Hi Migual,
You can add as per your requirement. Please refer the following link

  • Dynamic section in a fixed Bex structure

    Hi experts,
I have such a report requirement from the client, which is similar to a monthly income statement of an insurance agent:
    +Opening Balance: xxx EUR
+Total Commission Type 1: xxx EUR
+Total Commission Type 2: xxx EUR
    +....
+Total Commission Type N: xxx EUR
    +Miscellaneous Income: xxx EUR
    - Payment:
    -- Payment 1
    -- Payment 2
    -- Payment n
    +New Balance: xxx EUR
I have modeled this report with a Bex structure in Query Designer. But I have a big problem dealing with the line "Payment", because it is not a fixed structure. One agent can receive up to n payments in a month and I have to list out every payment.
So I would like to ask if there is a workaround for designing such a requirement?
    Thanks in advance!
    Regards,
    Meng

How do you differentiate between different payments?
based on a char I guess.
Why do not go for a hierarchy in R/3 side and can hav the expansion there?
In a fixed structure I guess only option is to create max and hide supress zero and yes it is a horrible design if u do this.
    Thanks

  • BEx Structures in WEBI

    Hello Guys,
I am new to BO with BI as data source.
In BEx query disigner, we have one Char and KF structure (with two calculated KFs) in rows section. And Char structure with 2 chars (restrcted) in columns section. We are using cell difinition as mentioned below:
              OQT     DQT
    Mat          c1     c2
    CKF1          c3     c4
    CKF2          c5     c6
c3 and c6 are cell references and using these reference cells in formula cells c1 and c2. CKF1 and CKF2 are hidden. When we execute this query using BEx analyzer it is displaying correct values as mentioned in below format.
         OQT     DQT
    M1     20     10
We created OLAP universe on top of this BEx query. Hidden CKFs are displaying in universe level and it is displaying Structure class with one structure dimension only.
When we use that structure dimension in webi it is displaying OQT and DQT not values of it.
My question is how to create webi report to achieve above mentioned Bex report?
Is WEBI supports the cell definition/reference ?
We are using BI 7 with BO XI R3.1
Thanks in advance for your help,
    Regards,
    Reddy.

    Hi,
It's difficult to tell exactly how you will workaround that ...
but, with MDX you have to include a Measure/KF in the webi query results
in the webi query panel, you MUST include (at minimum) the exact same objects Structure(s)/CKF combination as a baseline for your query to work reliably. ( Check this Bex layout in RSTT and see how the initial query view is designed )
generally speaking, use of multiple Characteristic Structures (like the accounting model) and Measure Hierarchies really confuses webi.  and also, can hammer the OLAP engine in BW too. (i.e. massive performance issues)
some aspects of the hardcoded layout delivered by structures (i.e. subtotals and totals, formatting indents etc)  are not understood or respected by webi.
Check out this Note here 1387793 - BEx functionality features that are not supported or integrated in WebIntelligence
for an idea of the Bex features which are not exposed by the BW OLAP API to BObj .
as for cell references .. this is a fringe use-case for BW-BO developments, and should probably be avoided.
Ultiamtely, you should be using BEx as a simple data-delivery container, particularly for filtering,  but definitely not for presentation layout.

  • Creating a condition on a SAP BW BEx structure

    Hi,
I'm trying to create a condition / filter in a universe that is built over a SAP BW BEx query that is using a structure and I can't work out how to do this properly.
I see in the XI 3.0 OLAP universe documentation a reference to structures as follows:
"Stuctures defined in the BW Query that are based on characteristics are
included in the universe as single-dimension objects with the elements of
    the structure as dimension members."
A sample of my BEx structure which is named "P&L Lines" is as follows:
    Gross Sales Value
    Discounts
    Invoiced Sales
    Std Material Cost
In the universe the Class is "P&L Lines" and there is an object also named "P&L Lines". The properites of this object in the "Select" area shows [D431JNHSA9FQ901I1YLHH9WBR]
A simple example of what I have been testing is to include only "Gross Sales Value".
In the universe I have set a condition as follows:
    <FILTER KEY
    "[D431JNHSA9FQ901I1YLHH9WBR]">
    <CONDITION
    OPERATORCONDITION="InList">
    <CONSTANT CAPTION="Gross Sales Value">
    </CONDITION>
    </FILTER>
This parses ok but it has no affect when I run the webi report.
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • APD using Query with multiple structures as a data source

    All,
I want to set up an automatic process which executes a query and exports it to a shared drive as a csv file. I have tried various options , when I try to use APD to set up the extract, I get an error and this is because the query that I am trying to use has Strucutres in both rows and columns. Hence, I am unable to use this option. I tried RSCRM_BAPI, It works well, but there is an issue with scheduling this in Process chain. I created an event and scheduled this as a job to trigger after "event" as per SAP instructions, but the job does not exist and it is not possible to trigger it through the Process chain unless the variables are hard coded in the query which I do not want to do.
Can any one tell me if there is a way to deal with APD using Query with multiple structures?
Would really appreciate if some one can give me the right solution...
    Thanks

    Hi Tanu ,
APD is an option but its not very good with large amount of data or hiearachies or if you have attributes in you query structure .
One more option for this requirement is use of report program using function module RRW3_GET_QUERY_VIEW_DATA .
This will work fine with multiple structure etc .
There are some overheads with this FM  ex: if amount of data is too much then program will give dump .Solution for that is we call the FM in LOOP by diving amount of data need to be fetched .ex:  we can read data quarter wise.
For using this function module what you can do is write an ABAP program (At SE38 ) .which will call this FM and then write the output into a flat file which you can save at application server (AL11) .From there other system can read it .
To automate this whole process you can further add all the report programs into a process chain (RSPC) which can be schedule as per requirement .
To pass input parameters you can use variants that will pass the values to the report .
Check thi link for sample code :

Hope this will be helpful .

  • Excel 2002 with BEx Analyzer NW2004s

    Hi,
can I use Excel 2002 with BEx Analyzer NW2004s? I read somewhere, it is possible only with Office 2003. It's true?
    Thanks!

Hi, for some reason the BI FAQs on SDN are not up-to-date. I will investigate and make sure they are refreshed asap.
You always find the up-to-date FAQs on SAP Service Marketplace /bifaq. There you see the correct answer:
Which versions of Microsoft Office are supported by SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) BI Business Explorer (BEx)?
BEx in SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) supports MS Office 2003 and Office XP, SP2 (this includes Excel 2002) based on GUI 6.40
BEx in SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) supports MS Office 2003 based on GUI 7.10
For information on planned support for Windows Vista and Office 2007 (based on GUI 7.10) please check the Functional Enhancements Schedule BI in NW7.0 (2004s).
    There is
no support for NW 7.0 (2004s) BEx Tools on MS Office 97
no support for NW 7.0 (2004s) BEx Tools for Office XP (Excel 2002) in combination with GUI 7.10
no support for NW 7.0 (2004s) BEx Tools for Vista in combination with GUI 6.40

  • IP - Various problems with BEX Analyser - help would be nice

    Hi,
we use IP in combination with BEX analyser. We experience certain problems. Does anyone experienced the same issues mentioned below:
    1) if a planning function is executed, it is executed twice when your cursor is within the query itself. If it is outside the query when clicking on the button, it is executed once (like it should).
    2) Locking: we don't have locking problems, but from the moment two people lock each other once, they need to close their analyser and re-open it (so logon again) in order to be able to start planning again in a non-locked part. If they just change their selection (to the not-lock part) they remain locked!!!
    3) planning function with multiple variables: system cannot retrieve values of all variables.
    details of function:
    CMD                                               1       EXECUTE_PLANNING_FUNCTION
    PLANNING FUNCTION NAME           1      AG10_COPY01
    DATA PROVIDER_FILTER                 1     DATA_PROVIDER_1
    VAR_NAME                                     1       PROF_CTR
    VAR_VALUE                                    1       510
    VAR_NAME                                     2     PERIOD
    VAR_VALUE                                    2        012
    VAR_NAME                                     3       CUSTOMER
    VAR_VALUE                                    3     1000
-> following the instruction of the SAP course, in case of multiplle variables they should start from 0 and have an incremental increase. But the system only recognizes the variable with index = 1
    regards
    D

    Dear Dries,
could it be that the variable type you use require a different set of commands?
In general the parameters of the BEx Analyzer follow the rules of the SAp BW 3.5 Webruntime. When reading this detailed documentation you find that depending on the type of variable other names have to be used, e.g. when using a selection option variable you need something line varname_low, varname_high, ...
The documentation can be found in the online-help:

  • Error  - Material cost estimate with quantity structure

    Hello Gurus!
Can anyone please help with the following problem:
I’m trying to do the material cost estimate with quantity structure, but the system is throwing back the message  " There is no exchange rate for exchange rate type P on 1.01.2008: CHF -> EUR".
This happens because I have a subcontratation in my routing in CHF, and in transaction OB08, and I don’t had defined that rate (type P CHF –EUR).
I need to know if there is any solution to the system assumes other Type of Exchange Rate (the last real exchange rate that I have introduced in my system, not the planned!)
Points will be assigned to the suitable answer.
    Thanks in advance.
    Mary Jane

    Hi Sridhar
    Thanks for your reply.
In OKEQ for the version 0, I have the rate type M.
I don't understand why the system throwing back the message  " There is no exchange rate for exchange rate type P on 1.01.2008: CHF -> EUR".!
    Do you know why?
    Thanks and regards

  • Material cost estimate with quantity structure (tcode: CK11N)

    Hey dear friends.
I donu2019t know in which forum I should put my question above.
In fact, Iu2019m new to SAP PM module.
Iu2019m trying to create material cost estimate with quantity structure (tcode: CK11N) for a material u201CXu201D.
    This material is manufactured.
While running the transaction CK11N, I got an error message.
After analyzing this error message, Iu2019ve realised that somebody had assigned wrong activity types to cost centers which are linked to this material in tcode: CR03, tab: costing.
So Iu2019ve changed and assigned the right activity types.
Then, Iu2019ve tried to run the tcode CK11N again. But the system still brings the wrong activity types and seems to ignore the ones that Iu2019ve assignedu2026
It seems like the old activity types still linked to the cost centers somewhere else than in tcode CR03u2026
Any idea about what am I mising ?
    Thank's in advance.
    Bahia.

    Dear Bahia,
If its rate routing means,i guess you must be working in REM scenario.
So goto CA22,delete the existing operation and then assign the same work center in a new
operation, check what activity types is it proposing in the rate routing,if its reflecting correctly means
    save the datas.
Also goto KKF6N--->click the change mode icon and then calculator button to create a preliminary cost
estimate and then save the datas.
One of our forum friend has asked you to check the production order read PP master data once
again, but understand there is no production order concept in REM scenario, only planned orders.
Then come back with your queries.

  • Material Cost Estimate with Quantity Structure (How to download)

Is there a standard report or feature available in SAP to download the material cost estimate with quantity structure?
Currently we have to print screen and it is very tedious and can't do analysis with those screenshots.
    Please advice.

    Hi,
There is a standard report you can use - S_P99_41000111 - Analyze/Compare Material Cost Estimates .
With this report, you can report the standard cost estimates for a range of materials.
Good Luck!!!  Assign points if this was a useful input to you.
