RSRV showing 0 records

Good Morning everyone,
Has anyone experienced or know why RSRV would show 0 records for all dimensions when checking the fact table to dimension table ratio? Also, the INFOCUBE_DESIGN program doesn't display anything??
Stats are updated for the Cubes. The dim tables do in fact have many entries. It's SQL Server.
Any thoughts,

I think for smaller values it shows 0. But if the data volume is high it will show the ratio as positive..
how much is the real value u see?

Pull all the columns to criteria ,it will show NULL for a product
To get zero,on the fact column use IFNULL(fact_col,0)

It is working but with lot of delay, it takes too much of time.
After i run this form & as i press the button, it shows "Record 1/?" in the below and it takes almost 5 mins to execute completely and dhow the message.
Can you tell why is it showing "Record 1/?" below ???
How to reduce the delay??

If you want to suppress the message shown in status you can set the sevearity like :system.message_level          := '20';

Edit functionality in the show records in UWL

Hello All,
I have configured UWL to show MDM workflow.
I have provided one button for "Show Records" to display contents of the workflow item.
Right now, this is only in display mode. I am showing Result set iView on click of Show Records button in UWL.
I have tried providing Item details iView in place of result set iView. But, it was not showing any data on that iview.
Do you know what other properties do I need to set in Configuration XML file to show contents in Item Details iView?

Sounds like you installed iWork from before there was the Mac App Store.
If you installed it from a Family DVD you are entitled to install that on 5 computers and can do that from the DVD.
If not then you need to purchase it from the M.A.S. and will be able to install it on any of your computers using the same Apple I.D. However Apple is promising a new version before Christmas so it may not be a good time to buy now.

KNVP table having following customers for my condition:-

But it shows records in following order:-
Kunnr

1166835
So it shows 1st record = 1150010 instead of 100510. I want to show 1st record as 100510. Can any one please tell me why it shows such miss order.

Af:table is not showing records until doing refresh of the view object iter

Hi Experts,
I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.4 and i have a page whhich shows records of a particular read only view object as an af:table. When i run the page at first it is not showing any data at all . But there are 2 records when i run the query of that read only view object.In my page there is a link called "Refresh" which calls the "Execute" operation of the view iterator of my view object. When i click this link the table shows two records.Why the table does not show records once wehn the page is rendered?
Please help me.

Not show record after clear_form(no_validate)

Dear Aamir,
The block which contains your buttons might be a control block (i.e. a non database block) and you cannot write execute_query on such blocks.
To achieve this,
Move Control to your database block by writting
Go_Block('<block_name>');
clear_block(no_validate);
execute_query;
This will definitely solve your problem.

Adjust recording end time on a 6416 for a single show recording.

This may seem like a dumb question but I can't see how to set the stopping time of a recording to end say 30 minutes later.
I think I just received 1.6 last night, but I couldn't see how to do this in the previous release either.
In my defense, I normally use a TiVo for recording, but sometimes I have to use the Verizon 6416.
I was able to do this with an older release.
I can see how to do it with a series recording, but not with a single show recording.

Got to DVR menu, select View Schedule, select the show in question and one of the options is something like change or recording options (not at my STB so not sure of the exact wording). There is a place to modify the start / end times by preset increments.

Premiere elements 7 can it edit t.v. shows recorded on a DVD?

Premiere elements 7 can it edit t.v. shows recorded on a DVD?
WOw the guy at the store said this was easy to use but I'm not having much luck. Wanted to edited a t.v. recorded on a dvd. Transferred it to hard drive but the sound is way behind the video part. Any ideas? Thanks

If you have tried repeatably and unsuccessfully to rip the VOBs from the DVD-VIDEO on a DVD-R or +RW using the Premiere Elements 7 (Get Media/"DVD (Camcorder or PC DVD Drive), I would strongly suggest that you use MPEG Streamclip to convert to DV AVI. Then bring the DV AVI version into Premiere Elements 7 via Get Media/Files & Folders from the save hard drive location of the DV AVI version.
MPEG Streamclip should take care of quality as well as any audio out of sync issues.

You have two set up choices
Free...MPEG Streamclip + QuickTime Alternative (which contains the required MPEG-2 Playback Component), BUT you need to uninstall your regular QuickTime to get this to work.

Partially Free...MPEG Streamclip + your regular QuickTime + purchase from Apple of the MPEG-2 Playback Component

If you are going to being doing this type of a project on a regular basis, it might be worth the investment of going the partially free route.
Are you in a NTSC or PAL area? If you need a step by step for the MPEG Streamclip route, it will be supplied on request. I use it routinely. It is quick and effective.

Report problem (Paginations show record count, report blank)

I am using a custom report template to show data in detail form and allowing users to use the pagination to move from record to record. I have the maximum rows returned as 1.
The problem is in a very specific set of circumstances if the query returns only two results the report shows nothing. The pagination show two records (using search engine pagination style) but nothing (with the exception of the top and bottom pagination bars) is displayed until the user clicks on one of the linked numbers.
Has anyone had similar problems, does anyone have any idea how to correct this problem?

Check any branches to this page to see that they have "reset pagination for this page" checked. I had a problem with pagination where the user could specify query criteria and the branch back to the page was not resetting the pagination.

Use case for showing records in report view BAM based on version number

Hi,
I have a use case to update records based on version no. Let say I have a table or data object in BAM called 'Notes'. The Notes dataobject has three fields Id, Version, Description. The Notes data is displayed in a BAM report. I need to just display the latest version of the Notes. Say two records with one with Id as '124' and Version '4' and another with Id as '124' and version as '5'. The record related to version 5 should be dispalyed to user. How will I introduce this check in BAM reports for the latest version?

That you see you're prints only means that your method outta called. The code creates a new row, but never inserts the row into the rowset. Then you call execute query which loses any connection to the new route which is not part of the rowset.
First action would never to call insertRow(r1) on the view object.
If you change data this way, only the model layer knows about it, the ui can't know about this (one of the disadvantages of using plsql or this construct you try). You have to tell the view controller to update it's data to. For this you can execute the iterator in the binding layer and/or ppr the container showing your data.
Then I don't see any complicated plsql called do I question if a programmatic co is necessary.

Unable to schedule a show record, online

I sign on to http://www36.verizon.com/fiostv/web/default.aspx and find a show that I want to record. Sometimes I am able to set a recording from the listing and sometimes there is no facility to do it . For instance, I wanted to record the upcoming (dec19th) Doctor Who series. I can find it on the TV listings but there is no way to record it.
Not sure I'm explaining this correctly
any ideas?

Nevermind.. It looks like even though the guide lists the show, if it's too far in the future it wont let you scedule if to record.
