Rtc="AfcsNameSpace" error

I am trying to follow the introductory video tutorials which are displayed on the lccs webpage: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplatform/services/collaboration.edu.html. I pretty much copied and pasted the code and tried to run it, after following all the necessary steps. I have been having recurrent  issues with rtc="AfcsNameSpace" and according to the tutorials, and having scoured the web, it doesn't seem to have deprecated however I am getting this error:
Description
Resource
Path
Location
Type
Could not resolve <rtc:ConnectSessionContainer> to a component implementation.
caarsvc.mxml
/caarsvc/src

Flex Problem
It seems it has been acting like this for anything I call under the rtc namespace (AdobeHSauthenticator gives me similar issues). Is the namespace still functional? Has it been updated to something else and what might that be? Is there any documentation that relects this? I am using Flash builder 4.0  and flashplayer 10. I wonder if the fact that acfs has been updated to lccs also caused an update to the AfcsNameSpace. What should I use as an alternative?
Also there seem to be some inconsistency in the workability of the provided examples. None of them so far have worked as demonstrated. Perhaps an update might be necessary? I apologize if it appears like a complaint but it does increase development time and reduce the ease of comprehension when the sample programs are producing problems not accounted for even when using the same IDEs and SDKs

Hi,
Seems like you are using a new SDK with old example code. Try the new namespace xmlns:rtc="http://ns.adobe.com/rtc"
Also try using the SDK example apps that are included with the SDK, as they are always updated with namespace and other flash player updates.
Thanks
Arun

  • RTC-5161 Error when deploying a MAP

    Hello,
    I recently upgraded OWB 11.1.0.7 to 11.2.0.3 and within the Design Center, I receive error RTC-5161 when deploying a MAPPING. My process flows and all other objects deploy successfully but the MAPPING pops up the RTC-5161 error
    Here is how I went about my upgrade, can anyone tell me if I am missing something?
    -Installed OWB 11.2.0.3 on a new server, configured Workspaces, workflow workspace user
    -Exported an OWB 11.1.0.7 project MDL and imported into the 11.2.0.3 and the Design Center automatically UPGRADED my project.
    -Registered all locations
    -Revalidated all locations within the ROPOSITORY BROWSER(the statuses were previously showing UNKNOWN, now they are all valid)
    I need help PLEASE, if anyone could point me to something I am overlooking....
    AGAIN, ONLY the MAPPING will not deploy, but the Process Flows generates and deploys with no issues.
    I tried running the DEPLOYMENT of the Project from the command line(OMBPLUS), here is the error generated:
    Processing module LOCATIONS ...
    Deploying module name: FFL_DL_BMFENT_FFM_BMFENT
    module name is FFL_DL_BMFENT_FFM_BMFENT

    module name is DBL_EFDS_DL_BMFENT_DBM_TGT_EFD

    Error deploy LOCATIONS : CONNECTOR

    Fixing this actually entailed going through the repository browser and checking the first optional feature during the configuration of the workspaces etc
    thanks for all your help!
    Now I have another issue with synchronization:
    I noticed that doing an inbound synching of my staging table using replace option and by object name, the preview window that pops up shows my objects to be updated not matching one to one.
    Has anyone ran into something like this?
    The synchronization preview shows source to target columns NOT MATCHING one to one.....

    Hi,
    You should get this error just by adding Chat only if you are using a older Flex SDK. Which Flex SDK you are using ? Are you using 3.4.0 or 4.0.0 ?
    At present you should get an error only by clicking on colorpicker and not by just adding chat. We are verifying on our end. You also let us know your SDK.
    Thanks

  • Error Location Registration for Workflow - RTC-5347:

    Hi all,
    Specs
    OWB 9.2.0.2.8 (Client) OWB 9.2.0.2.0 (Repository)
    Oracle Workflow 2.6.2
    Oracle 9.2.0.3.0
    Sunos 9
    I have completed the OWB install, both client and severside. Oracle Workflow repository installed on Server.
    During my test of all components I had encountered the following error while trying to register the Oracle Workflow location.
    RTC-5347: Schema owf_mgr does not contain an Oracle Workflow Repository
    After checking the forum I came across a work around for version 9.0.4 where multi language support was being used.
    Checking my WF_RESOURCES table in the OWF_MGR schema I have the following information. The note explains this has been resolved in later releases such as 9.2. The work around updates records where the language <> 'US' So the work around does not apply.
    TYPE,NAME,LANGUAGE,SOURCE_LANG,ID,TEXT,PROTECT_LEVEL,CUSTOM_LEVEL
    WFTKN,WF_SYSTEM_GUID,US,US,0,C927BE17AFC92A14E0340003BA361452,0,0
    WFTKN,WF_SYSTEM_STATUS,US,US,0,ENABLED,0,0
    I'm not sure where to go from here. Has anyone come across the same problem with OWB 9.2 ? If so how did you resolve it.
    Thanks
    Nick

    Had the same RTC-5347 ERROR on our installation. Found this fix from another user and it FIXED the problem...

    'US' is the database language and WorkFlow Server Version is '2.6.3'...

  • RTC-5008 when deploying after cloning

    LS,
    In order to get environments in-sync, we cloned the production environment back to acceptance.
    Naturally one has to unregister and re-register locations (necessary since clone provided production-locations), all OK. Also, WB_RT_SERVICE_NODES needs to be updated to point to the correct environment.
    After al that I ran service_doctor.sql with following result:
    All PL/SQL packages and functions are valid
    Platform properties have been loaded correctly
    Platform location has been seeded correctly
    NLS messages have been loaded correctly
    The platform service is available
    When trying to execute mappings I get RTC-5008 error. Also, the status in Deployment Manager is Not Deployed for all objects. On the target database however all objects exist and are valid.
    Checked table WB_RT_TASKS and WB_RT_WAREHOUSE_OBJECTS in runtime repository, they are empty!
    What happens? When you unregister locations, both aforementioned tables are emptied, hence all information on deployment is gone, hence the 5008 error.
    So, is there a way to update the Runtime Repository so it gives a correct reflection on the current deployment status of all deployable OWB-objects in the target schema?
    Thanks, Patrick
    ps This is sort of a follow-up on the reply I gave to Yilong Liu's post "RCT-5008: Unable to perform execution "

    Goeiemorgen Jean-Pierre,
    Yes, re-deploying (i.e. replacing) the mappings works fine; then loading the datawarehouse is possible again. Unfortunately moving on with such an environment is much more difficult then, when you alter objects you're confronted with an unknown status. I for one would like to see a proper reflection of object-statuses.
    I considered re-deploying the whole lot but I ran into some problems there.
    Since all objects already exist only replace and upgrade are viable options. This works well for most objects, except for tables. Somehow the upgrade of tables always fails, where the first part (generate) succeeds but the second part (the actual deploy) fails without actually mentioning why it failed.
    Unfortunately the tables contain data which we don't want to loose (hence the cloning instead of 'playing around' with the metadata), making it impossible to drop and create them.
    Is there some other strategy for cloning that would make sense in my case, or some decent workaround?
    Thanks, Patrick

  • Help required urgent error 5161

    Hi,
    I have mapping where the i have deployed earlier successfully.Now when i try to deploy again,it says RTC 5161 error.please help me in this matter.I amost completed my work and now i am getting this.
    your suggestions are highly appreciated.
    thank you.

    Robert is right. Please let me show more detail action: specailly, how to 'Run OWB from command line', which may cause confusion. when I use shortcut and run command line(C:\owb_home\bin\launch.exe C:\owb_home\owb\bin\admin ..\win32\owb.cl), the OWB client can be launch and log file can generate, but you got nothing.
    The correct 'command line' should be as follow:
    1 cd $OWB_HOME\owb\bin\win32
    2 C:\OWB_HOME\owb\bin\win32\owbclient.bat 1>c:\temp\owb.log 2>c:\temp\owb_err.log
    3 re-deploy to generate the error message
    4 check the ORA- in the log file.

  • Application Crashes while trying to use RTC on Studio12

    Hello,
    My program abruply dumps. I am trying to find out the access errors in order to understand more about whats going wrong.
    I am using Sun Studio 12 for this. I enabled the RTC and also set check -access ON on the dbx prompt. But when I then bring up the application, it doesnt even get into the first line of code but just cores.

  • Non-constant initializer error; compiler bug?

    The following code snippet demonstrates the issue:
    typedef struct {
    char *p;
    } S1;
    int main()
    char a;
    S1 s = { &a };
    hadron:~/src/misc> cc -V junk.c
    cc: Sun WorkShop 6 update 1 C 5.2 2000/09/11
    acomp: Sun WorkShop 6 update 1 C 5.2 2000/09/11
    "junk.c", line 8: non-constant initializer: op "U&"
    The compiler correctly handles the case where 's' is a simple pointer (eg. char *s = &a).  I don't have a copy of K&R handy but surely the C language allows structure initializers to contain address operators.

    I used dbx - <pid> to attach to a process that had LD_PRELOAD /opt/SUNWspro/lib/librtc.so in its environment. I had previously used the same setup to enable leaks/memuse checking. When I tried to enable access checking I got the following error:

  • Could not resolve...

    Hi everyone,
    I'm currently playing around with the examples in AFCS and
    noticed when running Flexternal.mxml that I get an error at line 27
    <rtc:AdobeHSAuthenticator authenticationKey="{authToken}"
    id="auth"/>
    Severity and Description Path Resource Location Creation Time
    Id Could not resolve <rtc:AdobeHSAuthenticator> to a
    component implementation. AFCS_Playground/src Flexternal.mxml line
    27 1237318325609 57
    Any ideas? I'm pretty sure I set up the SDK properly,
    thanks

    Hi,
    There was a bug on our side in the example since we updated
    the namespace recently in last release. So, in the application tag
    in Flexternal.mxml you need to specify xmlns:rtc="AfcsNameSpace"
    instead of "CocomoNameSpace" . and the error will be fixed. I am
    also attaching the entire code with the update in case you need it.
    Thanks again for the catch.

    Hironmay Basu
